Seattle Restaurant Closures of 2020 That Hurt the Most - Eater Seattle

"We will miss Pintxo, even though we didn’t eat downtown often." - Gabe Guarente

Pintxo’s Belltown Expansion Is a Stunner - Eater Seattle

"Belltown’s Spanish tapas restaurant Pintxo opened in 2010 in a narrow space with even tighter kitchen quarters. The capacity was at times limiting yet also part of the restaurant’s cozy charm, and the food and cocktails earned Pintxo a solid reputation. Last June, though, the restaurant moved to a new location nearby with significantly more elbow room: about three times the floor plan." - Megan Hill

I had mixed feelings about the place. When I made a reservation, I noted that it was my wife's bday. Service was good once it started, but no mention of the special occasion. The chef came out a few times to serve our food and she was really nice! The food was a mixed bag. Most of it was excellent and some.could use some work. The cocktails were good as well. They're so close to be a great place in my humble opinion. I might try this place again because the chef is so personable.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, very friendly service. Especially enjoyed the Jamon Serrano and bread with lavender and honey butter. Perfect way to spend a couple of hours sipping wine and watching the world go by. Thank you EJ, Will and Lauren. Edit: Tried the (chicken and chorizo) paella on Saturday. Very tasty and a great deal at $10/plate

The owner did respond and offered complimentary appetizers which I haven't used yet but I adjusted the review since they did follow up.. This is the second time my friends and I have come to pintxo and mostly because the octopus was absolutely amazing the first time. This time, it was really disappointing. Not only was all 3 octopus dishes burnt, the way the waitor handled it, made it even worse. I know it's supposed to be a charred dish but the way the dishes were "charred" made the it hard to eat. And in comparison to when we had it the first time, this was not the same. There were 6 of us. Here are the pictures of the pieces that we didn't even try after taking out first bites. One the black smaller size photo was the other part of the octopus that I just couldn't eat. Two of the tails crumbled when you picked it up. I looked at pictures of reveiws as well and these do not look like your other dishes. I would hate to leave a bad review based on this night but I'm tempted to simply because the waitor was rude in handling our complaint. Our bill was over $600. So we spent a pretty penny here late at night with no other customers in site. I have the receipt at home but I can send a copy when I'm back on monday. Thursday night around 8:30pm is when we sat. Probably checked out around 9:30.

Stopped by for a drink and some lunch, left satisfied and ready to come back again! They offered a wide range of menu items, even offering vegan options. The service was great, my server checked on me frequently and was very knowledgeable of their wine selection. Would definitely recommend this place!

It was a delightful experience to reminisce our Rioja wine trip last October at their sister restaurant here in Woodinville, WA. Our family lunch at Pintxos was filled with delicious pintxos of meatballs, Iberico ham, tortilla de patatas, white bean chorizo, croquetas de jamon, and entrees of Spanish Wagyu burger & charred octopus. Try their wine flights. Thanks to Pintxo’s knowledgeable staff & friendly chef!

This place has incredible fusion food, staff that is deeply educated about the food, and the most AMAZING mixologist. Owenuma is clearly trained beyond what you expect in Woodinville and passionate about what Pintxo is bringing to the community. Come here and tell Owenuma what “type “ of drink you like, and I promise, you will be amazed!

Having just returned from Spain, we were excited to relive our Spanish Pinxto/tapas experience. The restaurant was beautiful decorated. The rolled up garage door opened up inside dining to the patio. Great vibes! It’s a great place to gather especially on a beautiful day on the patio. Service was excellent. Drew & Will shared history of the restaurant, menu items and how Pinxto by Valdemar came to be added to the experience. The cocktails were unique and delicious. Between the 6 of us, we ordered a wide selection from the menu. The foods had nice presentations and were good but not “Wow”. We had quite a few “Wows” in Spain. The let down was the price. We were definitely not in Spain anymore! It was a great experience. Unless the prices are adjusted, we will likely not be back.

So glad I found this place! They have their own vineyard in Spain and walla walla( they got great selection if you're wine lover) * they don't have Moscato or sweet wines. Enjoyed their craft cocktails! (Almost sangria was great) will definitely visit back on Thursday or Sunday to enjoy their paella since it's only served on those two days.
