"Following stints at some prestigious restaurants, Philipp Heid has been head chef at the Pinus restaurant at Seegut Zeppelin hotel since May 2024. Here, he has created a laid-back sharing concept featuring modern and light dishes. The menu is predominantly vegetarian, but there are also meat options. Feel free to order as you please – there's no traditional menu progression, and sharing is optional. The dishes are arranged according to their flavour profiles: fruity, spicy, with roasted notes, earthy, plant-forward… In addition to fine wines, they have a wide range of non-alcoholic alternatives. The decor is modern upscale, but the atmosphere is comfortably relaxed. There is also a terrace overlooking the lake and the Alps." - Michelin Inspector

The restaurant offers an excellent dining experience with great service and a lovely ambience. - Most of the ingredients are sourced from local producers, and the menu even specifies how far each product category is sourced. - There’s also a great selection of wines and drinks. - The portion sizes encourage trying multiple dishes, with the menu recommending 2-3 portions per person. For a good appetite, I’d say 3-4 portions would be fine.

schon lange nicht mehr so lecker gegessen, ausgewählte podukte spannend kombiniert, geschmacks-erlebniss pur! 🤩 pro person 3 gänge und 1 dessert für 2, alles to share waren mengenmässig perfekt 👌🏻 sehr gute und kompetente bedienung! preislich für dieses niveau/qualität alles im grünen bereich - auch 🍷 sehr spannend, kleine auswahl aber bewusst ausgewählte winzer, keine grossproduktionen. kommen sehr gerne wieder 👍🏻😍

Ein sensationell alternatives Konzept trifft auf außerordentlich gute äußere Bedingungen. Ambiente und Service vom Feinsten. Die Küche ist avangardisisch, würzig, mit ungewöhnlichen, überraschenden Kombinationen. Gekocht wird überwiegend vegetarisch. Beim 5-Gang-Menue hat Fleisch nicht einmal meinem Begleiter, einem bekennenden Fleischesser, gefehlt. Das Konzept ist verblüffend: jeder Gang des 3-, 5-, oder7-Gang-Menüs besteht aus 2 unterschiedlichen Gerichten, die gleichzeitig serviert und geteilt werden. Einzig die Reservierung war nicht ganz einfach. Möglicherweise finden noch nicht viele externe Gäste den Weg in dieses Restaurant der Superlative mit Ausblick auf den Bodensee.

Ein Traum! Wunderschönes Gebäude mit hohen Decken und historischen Elementen, toll renoviert, direkt am See, erstklassige kreative Speisen, bester Service, gemütliche Atmosphäre... wir lieben es und werden wiederkommen 😍 Man kann nach dem Essen noch am See spazieren. Wir waren an einem grauen Oktobertag da... im Sommer ist es sicher noch schöner, wenn man draußen sitzen kann!

Auf Basis hochwertiger Produkte kommen - teils kreative, teils traditionelle - Gerichte aus der Küche. Das Konzept der "geteilten Teller" (mehrere Personen teilen sich ein Gericht) ermöglicht es, mehrere Gerichte zu erleben. Große Zufriedenheit am Tisch. Service aufmerksam und kompetent. Weinkarte auch mit regionalen Schwerpunkt. Weniger gastfreundlich: Der zu bezahlende Parkplatz im Innenhof der Hotelanlage - weder der Restaurantservice noch die wenig freundliche Hotelrezeption fühlten sich zuständig für den Bezahlvorgang für die Parkgebühren. Hier wäre das Niveau der Küche des pinus eine prima Richtschnur...
