Steeped in local history, Provo Pioneer Park blends a welcoming community vibe with cultural events and a weekly farmers market. Cited by Utah Valley Magazine and the city’s own event guides, it features shaded picnic areas, a modern playground, and basketball courts. The park comes alive every summer Saturday with the Provo Farmers Market, showcasing local produce, crafts, and live music—a true community tradition that offers a taste of Provo’s creative spirit.
My kids love the splash pad here. We're here probably 2-3x a week during the summer. Always well maintained and not too crowded. Good place to cool off in the summer heat. Only one pavilion and there's usually a party going on. Not much other sheltered seating areas if you don't nab a seat under the pavilion.

The park is really nice. Lots of big mature trees. Provide shade and benches to sit on, but we were unable to find any sort of drinking fountains and did not see any doggy bag stands.

This park is by some busy roads but there is a fence around the playground with one entrance which helps.
There is a splash pad in the summer. It turns off every hour for 15 minutes.
There is a bathroom on the south side of the playground. It had toiletpaper but soap was a problem.
The shade trees and flowers were abundant and beautiful in August. There are quite a few bees around though, because of the flowers.

Great park, but the bathroom was worse than most pit toilets. The urinal was overflowing on the floor after each flush. Tons of flies and a dirty diaper open on the floor.
The splash pad controls are too delayed to make much sense. The simple circle design with the colors is great, but the surface is more slippery than most splash pads.

This place is literally a dump, no shade on playground, the water turns off frequently, there are homeless people everywhere, people are smoking right next to our kids at the splash pad.

Great park for the kids and well maintained. I love that it has a splash pad and a fully fenced park. It’s especially nice to check out the farmers market and the let the kids play.

Pioneer Park is great. There is playground equipment and fun places for kids to play, as well as a splash pad, and if you come on a Saturday there are always fun things to get or snack on at the farmers market.
They've also recently started to allow artisans to the farmers, so now there are so kinds of cool or nifty things you can find here

Short stop here but it was a pleasant park. Lots of shade, sears for food, and had water fountains to cool off in. Seemed dog friendly but never saw any signs confirming or not.
