My friend celebrated his birthday here (if you bring 10 people the birthday person gets free drinks) and it was a great time! I hadn’t met anyone else previously. Games and energy made a great atmosphere to meet new people. Frozen margaritas were goooood 😋 they have rotating flavors SHOUT OUT TO MARK THE BARTENDER great energy 10/10 human interaction

You just found Manhattan’s best kept secret! We happened upon this bar wanting some chill vibes and to play couple rounds of pool. Walking in the atmosphere is extremely homey and welcoming. The decorations were awesome and we loved the big screens to watch football and the couches were insanely comfortable. They have great local brewery options on tap! We ended up playing some giant jenga and connect four as well.

great vibes, great times! was looking for a place to stop by during my trip to the city and this was the perfect spot! our server Marc was so kind and accommodating, gave us great recommendations for things to see in nyc! and our pitcher of beer was perfect!

Had an absolute blast at Pioneer Bar with a big group of 20, and it did not disappoint! The drinks were top-notch, the vibes were unbeatable, and the staff was hands-down the friendliest we’ve ever met. They made sure we were taken care of the whole night! The pool table and giant Jenga added just the right amount of competition (and chaos), making it even more fun. Whether you’re looking to chill with great cocktails or turn things up with a little friendly rivalry, this place has it all. We enjoyed every bit of it and will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

If I could give negative star I would. The person serving us and gave us crappy service was named Mark . Kick us out more than half an hour before they close and continue to service his “coworker/family member”. When I asked why his only response was you need to get out. That all fine but then this morning i see that my card was charge 100 dollars more then my original bill which he did not close until we left. Also there is no phone number to call so this makes me think it isn't the first time this has happened. The bank was called and handled it. I just hope the owners take care of his establishment by handling that bad bartender. Oh also the drinks he made were horrible.

We stayed right next door to the Pioneer at the Doubletree. Of the 4 nights we were in New York we spent some time in the Pioneer Bar almost every night. Cool little bar with great staff. Wasn't too crowded.

A wonderful place to enjoy games and drinks with friends 🔥 absolutely love the vibe and theme of this bar. I’ve been looking for a place to throw my birthday party and it’s giving !!!! Looking forward to coming back with friends I was in the area after I stopped by at Loopys For Kalbi🤯 perfect after activity after a big bite ✨🙏🏼 drinks are reasonable , music is great and the place is spacious . I didn’t try their food I got the frozen pina coloda and let me tell you one had me 🥴

It is a warm place to have a beer, also a large selection of tap beers and local ones. Nevertheless the guy at the bar is rude, saying he does us a favor serving us a second drink after not tipping for the first, even though we explained that we are going to tip at the end of the service, which we did.
