Yelp
One word that comes to mind: disappointed. In all of it.
I was there for a work event and we paid for the "dedicated space" which we thought would be a private room. I wish that I'd seen the review of a similar experience PRIOR to booking the venue.
The prices were a bit much for what you get: access to a ping pong table, balls, and paddles. Its a bonus that you can leave them on the ground (the staff will clean them up), but for the money, go to Five Guys burgers and toss the peanut shells on the floor, at least there you can people watch and get some decent food.
Speaking of food ... there's a reason the pizza looks and tastes like DiGiorno. Its definitely some sort of freezer pizza, which I love to eat at home, but to pay someone to stick it in the toaster oven and serve it to you is insulting. Notice I didn't use the "C" word as they weren't a cook or chef, but a food-warmer-upper.
Now to my favorite part of any experience: the service. I'm really, really tired of places in town that give "Portland Service". Yeah, that's what some people call it. I call it smug, snooty, disrespectful, and rude. I get it, you're so aloof that I probably couldn't even find the location.
No, I do get it: there is a GREAT group venue right next door (Grand Central Bowling) and INCREDIBLE pizza right around the corner (Sparky's).
Do yourself a favor and trust me and others that have reviewed this place. Use your hard earned money to vote somewhere else. They don't deserve anything except smashed, flattened balls.
