The Best Portland Restaurants and Bars for Playing Games - Eater Portland

"Located below Grand Central Bowl, Pips and Bounce is all about ping pong, with several tables to rent in 30-minute increments. Pips and Bounce’s chefs top 14-inch pizzas with pepperoni and black olives and load up Juanitas chips with nacho fixings. Cocktails and a small selection of beer and wine are also available." - Maya MacEvoy

Every time we're in town, we love to visit this place because of its abundance of ping-pong tables. It's an excellent spot for both children and adults. Although I'm not much of a ping-pong player myself, I appreciate the presence of a bar where I can indulge in food and drinks. I find it quite enjoyable to observe people playing while sipping on my beverage.

Google
Get your pig pong on or table tennis on. What you don't have to do is chase balls! There's tons of balls. Plus they have booze and food. You can reserve a table for 30 minutes for $16 so much fun!

Nick Kim

Google
This place is really good for hanging out with friends and colleagues. Specifically there aren't many places to go in Portland at night, you can have drink and a bit of sweats and have fun. The place has a ton of balls and the staff is picking up the balls for you. It will be perfect for mastering your ping pong skills.

Google
Street parking (or you can park under the Grand Central Bowling parking garage around the corner). Always a great time to blow off steam with friends. Unlimited amount of ping pong balls. I've not ordered food there yet but drinks are great and the staff are super nice.

Google
This place is super fun, we went on a Saturday night so there was a 20 min wait to get a table but there's a bar inside and plenty of seating so you weren't just awkwardly standing around which makes the wait totally fine. They had black lights going so all the balls lit up neon and cosmic-y which was very cool. You had to show proof of vaccination to get in which we loved. It's so fun that time flies by which unfortunately adds up a little. Between all of our drinks and table time we spent around $100 (for two people). Worth it but something to keep in mind for next time.

Google
We had so much fun! If you love ping pong you should go. I like how there are unlimited balls and probably about 6 or 8 tables. Even on a Friday night we were able to get a table immediately

Kyle Heroy

Google
Like many who come, I came here to play ping pong! I think they have 8 tables,at least, I got table #8. If you're looking to play, they have 30 mins - 2hr options available. $16 for 30, we paid $32 for an hour. Overall, it's a fun place. I went with someone who has never played before and they were smashing balls into other tables and other people on accident, but everyone was friendly and laughed it off. The cocktail menu doesn't really have anything that bounces off the page as, A MUST TRY signature drink, which I hope they reevaluate their menu and keep trying to improve it, but I found something delicious anyway. They do have a pretty impressive beer selection - bottled and on tap. Parking can be tricky, I circled around a few times before landing a lucky spot in front. Will return. And will try food next time too

Google
I stopped by while in Portland on my day off and was greeted by super friendly and helpful staff. They even played a few games with me and improved my skills! The pizza was delicious and beer selection is great too. I couldn’t have asked for more. I’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
Great place to hang out with friends. The food anit bad. It's not overly priced. I love the location and it's very inviting.

Yelp
I haven't had this much fun playing ping pong ever. It's a bit pricy at $16 for a half hour, and if you don't reserve a spot ahead, you could end up waiting for a while. They have giant Jenga, Connect Four, and Shuffleboard to keep you busy while you wait. The drinks are pretty reasonably priced. I didn't get to try the food, but it smelled good. They were playing fun music. I am definitely going back!

Yelp
We had our youngest son's college graduation party here and it was perfect. Sandy was so amazing with helping us! The food, drinks and space was perfect. We had all ages at the party and even the littlest ones had so much fun! I cannot say enough good things about this place. We rented what is called "The Garage" which can fit up to 50 guests. We paid for them to cater and we had the taco bar which we had vegan and meat choices and it was fantastic. The fruit was so tasty and so beautifully put together. I want to come back for the hummus I absolutely loved it. Our bartender Sara was amazing! They allowed us to have a cake delivered that was made at a bakery as well. I could not believe they provided the linens, dishes and even to-go boxes! I highly recommend Pips and Bounce for parties!

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday night as a party of 4, there were plenty of tables available and we got our ping pong fix after the 30 minutes - which costed $16. The employee that helped us out was also very nice and checked in with us multiple times to make sure every was going well. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area!

Yelp
It was * BALLS TO THE WALL * in there - and I loved it! Growing up - my grandpa made his own Ping-Pong table, and we'd play every summer. Some friends invited us here on a Saturday night. Great location, super cute decor - full bar and fluid system! The Paloma was delicious and strong! We waited about 30 min for a Ping Ping table while we played Shuffle Board. We paid for the hour and had the best time! Super cool vibe - great crowd! They even had a guy walking around collecting the balls into buckets for you.

Yelp
Had a great birthday celebration here!! Loved the catering and snacks for everyone. Wings were a bit mushy and super saucy but it was all good. It was all about the ping pong playing! So fun
google avatar

Yelp
Always a go to spot whether it be just a hang out spot or bringing visitors from out of town. Relaxed vibe and drinks to just laugh and have fun.
google avatar

Rachelle R.

Yelp
It was a lot of fun here! We can't play ping pong well but it's all about the company. It's a large space with a decent amount of tables. My only thing is it is a little expensive in my opinion. The price is $16 for 30min of a table. I feel like that's a little too much. I think it's a great one time place or every few months but I would not spend that much on it regularly.
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
Just a fun atmosphere. It's a great place to be loud and have fun with a group of people. We ordered the nacho plate and it wad enormous. Can easily feed several people.

Yelp
Great spot to hang out on a Friday night! Surprised to find the place not packed on a Friday but assuming it's because people wanted to enjoy the sun outdoors. No problem on my end since we got the choice of whatever ping ping tables we wanted to play at. They have plenty of tables and they're spread out across the place so you don't feel too cramped. They have a couple bar tables and seats for you to hang your bags & coats while you play. Price isn't crazy for an hour either and they come over to give you a 5 minute warning and ask if you would like to extend. As you play balls are flying over the place but they have someone coming around the place picking them up with a net and refilling your ball baskets so you don't need to go running after them each time. Parking in the area isn't easy but they have a parking lot under the place for you to park at. Solid beers on tap and cocktail menu to choose from. Loved the Pips Pimms because Pimms is great. Super refreshing and dangerous!
google avatar

Angel P.

Yelp
The bartender was so nice and the drinks were delicious. The place was absolutely cute and even if you don't even know how to play ping pong, I say give it a try. It's honestly a cute date place.
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
Great space for large or small parties to get their ping pong game on! Drinks were great. The beer and drinks are plentiful - yummy mixed drinks as well. Unfortunately, food was subpar. The nachos were a bit dry and flavorless, hopefully, it was just an off-night. The crab rangoons were eh. And the pigs in a blanket were standard.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is super fun! It's $16 per half an hour and drinks are pretty cool. Mimosas on Saturday !!
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
A good place to come and hangout and play some ping pong, even if you are not good at it. You don't have to worry about picking up the balls as they will have their staff come by with their special ping pong ball broom. If you don't want to play ping pong, you can watch done of the games on their tv. The place is counter service where you go up and order your drinks and snacks. The snacks are your typical snacks and the drinks aren't too bad.

Capri S.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and concept of this place! I love ping pong and was excited for my first visit here. Three stars, because of how unwelcoming and rude the staff was.
google avatar

Brittnie P.

Yelp
Really fun place!! We had a great time playing table tennis for about an hour and they have a bar as well. Restrooms were decently clean. We split a large basket of balls between two tables and you don't pick them up, an employee will come around and get them for you and get you a fresh basket if needed. Drinks were good. It wasn't crazy busy and the location was good, near Hat Yai and other restaurants and bars.
google avatar

Justin N.

Yelp
What a great concept! We enjoyed the (limited) menu and some original drinks while attempting to make the olympic ping pong team. Definately worth a visit even if you have to come in from the burbs to do it.

Yelp
I absolutely love playing ping pong here. It's spacious, clean and features quality tables and paddles. It's easy to get here, and parking in the basement is much better than trying to find street parking. The service is always friendly, and I've found that it's best to just start a tab and enjoy a drink or two as I play. It was busy today at 3:45 pm, but a table opened up within a five minute wait. Other times, when I've been in around noon or early afternoon, it's pretty quiet, and we have our pick of tables. Minors are allowed until 7 pm on Friday and Saturday, and until 9pm on other nights. My family has so much fun here that we're considering lessons to actually learn the rules. Maybe even learn what a "pip" is. I highly recommend Pips and Bounce, especially during Oregon's long, rainy winter--it's bright and airy inside.

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is what I love. Music, ping pong and people having fun doing something active, while also having the option of food and drinks? Yes. And cosmic pingpong? Such a fun concept. Good vibes. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the rude woman working who didn't want to answer any questions and seemed super impatient, and waiting half an hour to reserve a table was longer than I wanted to wait.

Wynter N.

Yelp
I liked the concept of this place, but the atmosphere inside couldn't match up to my expectations. There was no music playing, and the lights in the room were on full blast. Apparently it's cosmic night Fri-Sats, but the lights don't go dim till like 7 or 8? Which kinda sucks because I think the atmosphere would have been a lot better with some cool lights. Also on their website they have Happy Hour specials still listed so when we walked in for that they said it was discontinued? So maybe take it off your website....price is also way too much for 30 min. Wont probably be back.

Frank F.

Yelp
We have used Pips & Bounce a few times for office events and team bonding - this place is such a delight. My colleagues ALWAYS have a great time here - great food, delicious cocktails and wine/beer list. We'll keep coming back as long as they'll have us! #PongEatDrinkForever

Yelp
What a fun and creative place to be at! I initially found this place via NY Times favorite spots to visit in Portland and I was so happy to find this gem. You can play for as long as you want but you pay for 30 mins (minimum). They have foods there so you can eat, drink and socialize at the same time. I didn't try any of their taps, but I played ping pong for 30 minutes with my boyfriend and it was such a fun and new experience. At night around 8:30 they dim the lights so everything glows in the dark, including the balls and tables underneath so it definitely becomes a perfect place for adult date nights and friendly gatherings.

Yelp
One word that comes to mind: disappointed. In all of it. I was there for a work event and we paid for the "dedicated space" which we thought would be a private room. I wish that I'd seen the review of a similar experience PRIOR to booking the venue. The prices were a bit much for what you get: access to a ping pong table, balls, and paddles. Its a bonus that you can leave them on the ground (the staff will clean them up), but for the money, go to Five Guys burgers and toss the peanut shells on the floor, at least there you can people watch and get some decent food. Speaking of food ... there's a reason the pizza looks and tastes like DiGiorno. Its definitely some sort of freezer pizza, which I love to eat at home, but to pay someone to stick it in the toaster oven and serve it to you is insulting. Notice I didn't use the "C" word as they weren't a cook or chef, but a food-warmer-upper. Now to my favorite part of any experience: the service. I'm really, really tired of places in town that give "Portland Service". Yeah, that's what some people call it. I call it smug, snooty, disrespectful, and rude. I get it, you're so aloof that I probably couldn't even find the location. No, I do get it: there is a GREAT group venue right next door (Grand Central Bowling) and INCREDIBLE pizza right around the corner (Sparky's). Do yourself a favor and trust me and others that have reviewed this place. Use your hard earned money to vote somewhere else. They don't deserve anything except smashed, flattened balls.

Yelp
Went here with a group of my work mates for happy hour. I didn't know this place existed, so this was a great opportunity to stop by. I am by no means a ping pong player. My hand to eye coordination is pretty much nonexistent. That didn't stop me from cheering my work mates on over a *friendly* game or two. The food and drink options are pretty stellar. I had the DC Sour, which is a combo of Orange Marionberry whiskey, honey, and lemon. Super refreshing and I'd highly recommend that drink. We topped it off with nachos, hummus plate, and ended with warm cookies and ice cream. I was overall impressed with the food options that were way beyond the stereotypical bar food. Staff was very helpful and efficient. Only one minor suggestion: When we went it was 80's night and I fell in love with the 80's theme posters on the wall (Golden Girls, Miami Vice, etc). I just wished there was some 80's music playing to connect with the theme. It could've been something that they do later in the evening, and if so, i'm there!

Yelp
Despite the fact that my date did not end up as it began, we started off here and I'm quite impressed. When he suggested this place, I wasn't totally sold, as it seemed like a lot of working out on a date. But the environment is super relaxed and at some point they turn the lights off and put on black lights. It's not competitive, but just fun. We laughed a lot and drank beer and cider and just had a great time. I will definitely suggest this as a date place for any friends. If you are looking for something fun to do with someone you are just getting to know, this is the place. Good people watching, great drinks, and a fun time.
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance of balls without the presence of "ballers." This place is perfect if you want to play ping pong and scream over the music. Or you could wait patiently for a drink and have the bartenders roll their eyes at you. Balls in your court.
google avatar

Fiona L.

Yelp
Ping pong, Pong ping. I knew a place just like this back in my hometown, but I never went because of the ridiculous $80/hour price. The sad truth. And for those of you that are curious, I'm referring to SPiN in SF/LA. Wellp, I'm glad I get to experience it while paying a fraction of that cost! ($30/hour) That being said, we went in while it was still fairly empty so we got our choose of any table. No drinks for us, we came in to settle our war once and for all. Overall, I like the venue and there's someone to retrieve the balls so you don't have to worry. I recommend this place for dates, groups, work bonding, or pong wars.
google avatar

Megan C.

Yelp
This place is so fun! Everyone has great customer service and the vibe is great. We will definitely go beck!

Yelp
I had the absolute best time here. Another bookmark checked. The concept is genius! Cocktails and ping pong? Yes please. The drinks were strong and delicious, like the PDX lemonade. We didn't get anything to eat because we were headed to Sizzle after. Other notes: - $15 - 30 mins of ping pong - $30 - 60 mins. - Black lighting so everything looks neon, so cool. - You'll def work up a sweat - Service is friendly and fun. - We eventually got drunk and started randomly throwing balls at other patrons. - Immature, maybe. Fun, Hells yea!

Yelp
It seems pretty expensive to play on your own but if you go with a group, the $15 per hour is reasonable. I decided to go ahead and get the membership, which is $49 a month and includes free walk-in play for you and your friends and other discounts. It basically pays for itself if you play for more than 90 minutes in a month. They also give special priority for members. They have decent paddles for free or better paddles for $5 rent. While I was waiting for my friend I met a regular who was very skilled and fun to play with. He even taught me how to do a reverse backhand with my pen grip. It's really nice to have ball service too- pretty luxurious for me haha. During the day they have a partition that closes off part of the venue when it's less busy, which made it seem like there were only 6 tables.
google avatar

Bethany L.

Yelp
Love this place and the atmosphere. Love ping pong and drinks so, this is my jam. Unfortunately, tonight I did not have the same experience. The hostess was completely uneducated and rude. She basically knew nothing about her job and what it entails. We asked her several questions, to which she looked to her fellow employee for. Is it your first day? I think not. You're just being rude and annoying. When we got our table, we checked in with her to make sure we were at the right spot and she said "is that what he told you?"......She was standing there the whole time while we were checking in. AND THEN, she went back to the other employee afterwards and talked shit about us! WTF. They told us our "hour" was up within 50 mins and we had to leave our table. I'll be back because I love this place and ping pong but I hope she's not here.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
What a cool and casual place to hang out! :) My boyfriend and I were visiting from LA, and we just had to stop by when we spotted the ping pong tables! We immediately noticed and appreciated the clean, modern, and open space of the place. We ended up playing ping pong for 30 minutes ($15 per half hour) while we sipped on beer. It was so much fun! Because of my wonderful experience, I would definitely recommend checking Pips & Bounce out if you're looking for something to do with friends (since it can accommodate groups well). I absolutely love the entire concept of the place, and wish we had something like it back in LA!
google avatar

Issy D.

Yelp
I came here for a short period of time while I was visiting Portland what a Portland idea to have a bar dedicated to playing ping-pong! Sadly the bar was absolutely packed which didn't let me play any ping-pong. It was so packed that it was stressful to move around inside the bar. Granted there was an event being held at the bar which explains why it was so packed. This bar was not made for such crowds and I found the crowd size to be much too overwhelming. Since the bar is mostly filled with the ping-pong tables there isn't really a space to just sit and drink a glass of beer. I wasn't in the mood for beer so I got wine here and they only had one choice for white wine. Since I'm from Sonoma County I'm used to bars having a whole wine list even if it's a bar that's not geared towards wine. The wine I did get was gross, so don't get wine here!
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
I had sooooooo much fun here! One of the coolest concepts ever and nicely executed. This place is super hip and I love the look at night (there's even a big room where it's darker and black lighted where you can play and there's even a big movie projector screen that plays movies), a bunch of ping pong tables to play at overall, a great selection of cocktails and drinks at the bar, quick and efficient service, GREAT music (they were playing some really good ratchet music that just pumps you up for ping pong). I just really loved it here. We paid $12 for about a 30 minutes I believe? I'm not sure how long it was, but it was probably even a bit more than 30 minutes and we definitely still worked up a sweat during the amount of time we stayed. They provide you with paddles and an endless amount of ping pong balls that are conveniently attached to tables near your ping pong court. It's really nice too because there's a guy who goes around and scoops up all the ping pong balls that fly all over the place so you don't have to go and retrieve your ping pong ball every time. I mean, still.. you don't want to take advantage of that opportunity, so we still tried to retrieve the balls as much as we could if it was do-able. The place just has a really fun vibe and besides ping pong tables, there are communal tables and places to sit at and drink with friends if you just want to watch people play. We got an old-fashioned and some ginger-beer type of cocktail, but both were really good. Gahhh, I had so much fun! I can't stop saying that, but I highly recommend coming here if you love ping pong because it'll only make you love ping pong more.
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
Pips & Bounce is a pretty cool to hang out for a little while with friends. For $15 per half hour you get to play ping pong (or bravely try) and enjoy drinks to boot. Definitely a good stop if you're in the area or going between bars. They have different specials each day and also offer unlimited play memberships.
google avatar

Natacha S.

Yelp
I loved checking out Pips and Bounce! It's such a an original place to do an actual activity with friends or on a date! It changes things up from your typical dinner and a movie. The vibe is so comfortable and so easy. Just a ping pong table and a couple beers. I'll definitely be going back again in the future!
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Met some pals here to celebrate a birthday (51 years on the rock deserves some ping pong and liquor). We arrived early to miss the hipster kid crowd and were starving. Nachos for the table (mistake) they were burnt on the edges and totally lack luster and a caprese sandwich (better choice). Beers and drinks for the table. When we ordered food there was a 30 minute wait time. I was told 'nobody orders food here' and I could tell the guy preparing was in the weeds. I wouldn't normally of eaten here myself but coming straight from work to meet our pals we were starving. This is the reason for the missing star. Speaking of stars- it's ping pong and Portland, come here to play and drink. Eat somewhere else.
google avatar

Yelp
Walked in , $16 for 30 mins? Walked out That's just insane. I was so excited to try this place! Oh well, luuwit view park has a 2 cool free tables, if the rain subsided :)

Yelp
Loved this concept and loved the execution. My wife and I stopped in here on a Monday night, when it's half price night. We got to play ping pong for 30 minutes for just $6. What a steal. They provide the paddles and there's a huge bucket of balls next to your table. My favorite part might be how you don't need to bother to pick up the balls. Everyone just lets them hit the floor after a point, and after a while an attendant comes by with a big ol' fish net to scoop them up. Service was very friendly, and there's a full bar here plus food available. We didn't eat but enjoyed a couple of pints while we played some intense ping pong. (My wife beat me two out of three, a result I may never live down). There is plenty of room to move around and play and all levels of players are welcome. I highly recommend for a fun night out, and I really want one of these in my town.

Yelp
This place bummed me out. Booked a couple tables for a small company event at $170/hr for 2 hours. The website description of "The Corner Suite" makes it sound like it's a semi-private area. It's actually just part of the main room. When we arrived, the place wasn't busy at all. Plenty of open tables. The walk-in rate is $30/hr. We already prepaid $170/hr, so it felt really awful to show up and see that we don't even have a private room, or anything (food/booze/special service) that would add $140 worth of value. We could have walked in without booking in advance and paid just $30/hr. That's a huge discrepancy from what they were charging us. It made me feel terrible. On top of that, the staff wasn't friendly, and generally seemed annoyed with their customers. I should have done more homework before agreeing to their rate, but I can't change that now. I've even reached out twice to them to ask why I was charged that much and have gotten no reply. It's a mistake I'll only make once, because they will never get company's business again. It's unfortunate, because Pips is a great concept; I would have gone back another time had our experience been better.

Yelp
I have been popping into different places to explore two nights a week before our paddling clinics. This time we found Pips & Bounce. Interesting name but what kind of place is this? It turns out to be the only Ping Pong bar and grill I have ever seen or even heard of. It's like a pool hall but with ping pong tables. Crazy! Walk in you find everything easily with a good layout and bright lights. Found the bar right away. Looking at the rum row and found the Black Seal and Ron Zacapa. Plus One Star just for having the right rum. They have a full bar with a small selection of beer (this is portland, anything less than 10 craft beers on tap is a small selection) Next the food - the menu looked interesting with a Korean influence. So I went for the Kimbap and Pork Tacos. There was nothing special with the tacos, the corn tortillas cracked at the bottom and everything was falling out... They tasted ok enough but their salsa was some jar salsa. The Kimbap is a rice roll with some stuff. They made it earlier that day so the rice was all dry and hard. It's not something I want to eat again. I also ordered the cheese and meat plate. I think it was Kraft cheddar, Colby and pepper jack cheese cubes with pepperoni, and two other type of meets that all came from the local grocery store - its eatable but not very good. All this food is not restaurant quality at these prices. It would be better just to have pretzels and peanuts. Their kitchen needs a lot of help, recommend hiring an executive chef to redo the whole kitchen from top to bottom, recreate the menu and retrain the staff. One Major Positive - The manager asked what I thought of their food. Do you really want to know because it is not going to be pleasant? I asked. "Yep, hit me", was their attitude and he grabbed his notebook. It is good to see that they know and want to do better. After the above description I gave them some references to other local restaurants to experience the food and food quality. Then I said they need to create their own unique dishes using top quality ingredients. That is when they will have the trifecta (Drinks, Food and Fun) for a true destination venue. Ping Pong - wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Thirty minuets for 10 bucks. Not bad but you don't have to pick up all the balls you missed and I missed lots and lots. I talked two of my friends into playing and we had a blast. There are a few buckets of balls at the nearby counter within a step or two. Grab a handful and play, and play, and play. Two Stars for the fun factor. Awesome! Recap: Bar : Great Food : Not So Ping Pong : Lotssa Fun Return : For the fun and drinks

Yelp
One of my friends has been trying to get me to go here for a long time, and for whatever reason I thought it was a divey sports bar of some sort so I never was enthused about going. Boy, was I wrong! This place is really spacious, plays amazing music, has really nice décor, full bar. I love it here! Fun place to go with a group or even just a friend to hang out, drink, and play ping pong. Even if you're not into ping pong, you'll enjoy the drinks and music.

Yelp
How does this place have such good reviews? I met a group for a birthday party- a group of 30-somethings, some with toddlers, most without. The place is lit up like a circus and has a small food menu, but a full bar. The beer list is decent, actually several of my favorite beers were on tap or in cans. It's around the corner from Sparky's Pizza on Belmont, it's a good thing you can bring pizza over to this place- the food is awful. One couple bought food and it came out looking pale and sad. That should have warned us but we got the meat and cheese board anyway. I expected a board that you would get at any Portland restaurant- couple types of meats, different types of cheese, a few apple slices and bread. That's a Portland meat and cheese board, right? Instead we got cubed cheddar, jack, and colby, and who knows what the meats were. My husband called in a $12 learning experience. Bottom line, if you go for ping pong, eat before. You'll be good on dranks, though.

Yelp
Come for happy hour! 2 drinks=a game on the house Although I think that could come out close to the same price as paying for 1 game on its own.. getting a perk for buying alcohol easily swooned us into an intense game of ping pong thanks to whiskey+vodka

Yelp
After seeing a short Facebook video highlighting this place, I knew I wanted to stop by. Don't forget to use your student ID for a discount - $12 for 30 minutes as compared to $16 for the normal price. There are specials for each day of the week. We went on a Sunday afternoon which had discounts on food and drinks. There are numerous tables that you can play on with a variety of drinks and food. It is a very casual place to spend the afternoon. Unique spot to visit and a great place to hangout with friends.

Yelp
The employees here were so rude. Arrived Sunday evening around 5pm and no one greeted us, the bar tender just stood there rolling his eyes waiting for us to order.... there was absolutely no one at the bar besides my friend and I. Employees didn't check up on us ONCE...It's too bad because the beer was actually really good and the place looks like it could be fun. Perhaps they shouldn't have teens with bad attitudes working. Not a fan.

Yelp
Very cool place to kick back with pizza, drinks and play some ping pong! I enjoyed coming here at night because the place was lit up with black lights so you can play some neon ping pong! At only $10 for half an hour, you can have a lot of fun! There's literally balls everywhere and someone comes by and picks them up so you have an endless amount of ping pong balls to play with. My suggestion for great rallying - come up with categories with your friends to go back and forth with every time you hit the ball!

Yelp
Wow! This place is so cool! Ping pong bar? Awesome! They have food and drinks, which is great, and from what I remember, they are all pretty affordable. The way the ping pong works is you pay per hour. So YOu start a tab and pay up front and you wait for a table to open up. They have tables in regular light and they have tables in BLACK light. Whaaaat? Awesome. It's really fun to play and to just have fun with it, it doesn't matter is you keep dropping the balls all over either because they come around and pick them up for you and they also have baskets of balls for you to use by each end of the table, score! You can also sign up for a membership if you want... Not sure how much that costs but if you really like ping pong and don't have your own table, why not?

Yelp
"Woohoo! As good as it gets" I can not imagine a cooler place to hang out in PDX. IT has a plethora of table tennis tables, when we went around 6pm on a Saturday, and we had not problem finding a table. You can rent tables by the 30 minute or 60 minute window. And, I believe they even have a happy hour (That I think is about $2/hr cheaper)--you might want to verify that before you check it out ;-) Also, they have good beer, and an excellent taproots. Also, they have excellent food! We got the green pizza and it had the spot, the pesto was not sharp, it had really good flavor, and the cheese was melted just right. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
are you a professional ping pong player? This place isn't for you. are you a professional drinker? PERFECT. Good selection of cocktails and a decent selection of beers, this "sports bar" is perfect for a casual night out with friends...although drinking while playing ping pong can be difficult but who cares... Constantly re-filled ping pong balls (never worry about running around) and clean bar: I have no complaints about this place.
