Piranha Nightclub

Lot of fun. Many rooms, each with different vibes and different types of music. There were some great drag shows when I went. Also, there’s a big out door area which is great.

Bought a ticket for the evening and we were still forced to wait in general admission for over an hour. It was impossible to get a drink once inside. Avoid spending any money on tickets for this place. They also don’t open tabs so you have to present a card for every transaction. For such a popular destination they could certainly do better. Spend your money at other gay bars.

Had a blast with my crew. I appreciated being able to go back and forth between this club and the club across the street. The show was fantastic! We wound up going on Demi 007 birthday and had a blast. The $4 shots are a vibe. Would highly recommend and return!

Fantastic experience!! Visited so that we could see plane Jane performing and LOVED THE CLUB. Multiple areas that play different music which all have their own bars. Each area feels very separate and the isolated. Drinks were reasonable and not watered down. With all the different areas for drinks, never had to wait even though I visited on a busy Saturday night, that happened to also be the 18th anniversary. Gogo Dancers were hott, and entrance fee was 20 for a Saturday night. Great time!!!

Music is great. Vibes are great. But they don’t have enough bartenders to handle demand. Expect 30+ minute wait for a drink at peak time.

I was not let into the club under the assumption that I had a note under my ID/name that I stole a purse the last time I was there. I've only have been to this location once last year and had no issues, I came with friends who can vouch for me that night. I'm not sure if the note was put under name by mistake but the security guard / the manager didn't even bother to give an explanation or help to clear the issue. It's unprofessional and rude to not even be given an opportunity to clear up an accusation that's false.

We visited from the UK. I really wanted to visit as I have a lot of reverence for queens like Larry Edwards, Yara Sophia, etc who had come from this legendary club and wanted to say I'd visited and had a good time. I've travelled the globe extensively including the US, and been to so many amazing gay bars. This is without a doubt the single worst venue I have EVER attended. I've tried to be as objective as possible as each person will have a different experience and expectation of a venue. Firstly the security staff were rude. Perhaps it is because we don't have this as much in England but the bouncer was curt and rude, demanding to see my ID. I produced my passport and he was clearly confused and I explained what it was (I.e. a legal document) and in addition I was born in the 1980s so clearly of age. He sushed me and then let me in. The people on the desk taking the fees were rude. $40 entrance fee to what is basically a shack on the side of the road with no shows, drinks packages etc was extortionate. Upon entering....I've never seen anything as tacky in my life. The music in each "room" (I say this as you couldn't as far as I could tell differentiate one area from another) was very generic, loud and had zero flare or personality. Just random mismatched songs played. Couldn't determine if it was a theme or genre night as it was so random. Drinks were watered down but I must say were relatively cheap. Gogo dancers were smutty and seemed uncomfortable. This might be a cultural thing as we don't really have this as much in the UK but the way customers pawed over them inappropriately was dire. Management should protect their integrity more. To say this is, I was led to believe, one of the most exclusive and best gay bars in all of Las Vegas, it was mediocre at best. I was absolutely disappointed and would not recommend non locals from wasting their time because whatever magic they may have had to have established such a reputation has vanished

Second time visiting since we are from out of town, and they have expanded the whole club. We liked the new bar in the middle and the outside area was huge, great job! You get access to both clubs when you pay your cover, so we walked over to Gipsy and that it was really cool. Made us think of Puerto Vallarta! Performances were amazing, love how inclusive the club is to not just the LGTQ plus community, but everyone is welcomed!

I haven't been to Piranha since I was like 22 and I'm 37 now. I'm happy to see it's still poppin. I came at like 1am and I was thinking it would prob be dead but I was wrong. It was Latin night in one of the rooms and the other was a great blend of hip hop. The crowd was amazing and I walked out of there with some newfound homies and a new appreciation for the venue. Like anything, it can be hit or miss but it was def a hit last night. I'll be back sooner than later *shoulder shimmy*

Fun place! But unfortunately never coming back. This is the second or third time one of my friends in my group have been roofied on a busy night and the risks really outweigh the fun. Devestating news, but please keep an eye on your drinks ladies and gents!

I got accused of fighting another person at the club (It wasnt me, AT ALL) and they refused to let me back in! I encouraged them to check security footage so that I could go back in with my friends and they denied me. I am never one to cause violence and this was my first time ever being accused of something like that on no basis. It was so fuckin rude and disappointing. I had to leave the club with 3 of my friends. This club is awful. Bouncers are shit.

Super fun all inclusive gay bar off the strip. The service is great, I know there's mixed reviews, but the staff were wonderful. We came to celebrate my besties birthday, and her daughter's first time in Vegas being 21. We had a blast and the show was so entertaining. The girls were all so talented, energetic, and overall amazing to watch. My girl Whitney killed it last week. They play all the best music, good vibes all around. Thank you for always giving us a spot to go out and dance when we're in town, much appreciated!

What a great time! The bartenders and dancers outfits are amazing. The GoGo dancers were fantastic and beautiful. Everyone was so kind and happy to be there. I can't say I've felt very comfortable in most clubs but this was different. Three rooms with three different genres of music, bars in every room, and gambling machines. There's also an outdoor area for fresh air. What more could I ask for??

A night on the town. Whether pride or not this venue is epic with the most beautiful views.

I went there in March 2025, and only had one tequila paloma, not even done drinking my paloma and I blacked out, only remember bits and pieces. I was most definitely roofied, drugged, whatever you wanna call it. My friend and I got our drinks in the back patio (it was empty), and walked inside where it was a little bit busy, my drink was very close to me for someone to sneak in something, either the person that did this is a pro, or it was the bartender in the back bar, it was March 30, 2025. And the incident happened around 10:30pm, I don't recall anything until around 2:30am I started getting conscious and then bits and pieces after that, Piranha if you'd like to reach out and investigate please send me your email, I can pull the exact purchase time of my drink. I would recommend for everyone to pre game else where, and sober up in the bar. It was really scary, got the courage to say something because I saw someone else post about this bar spiked drinks. Please beware, be cautious, call the cops if you notice something is weird, it hits you super quick what ever that is.

You cannot have a bad time here. Hot dancers, fun bartenders and the star watching of the rupaul gals be in the same vicinity as you?... obsessed with it all. The entry into gipsy and piranha makes it an easy choice on where to get your dance on.

Having moved out of town ten years ago, I'm glad Piranha stood the test of time. It still is good fun. Where they used to have 2 different sections with different types of music playing, currently they have 3! 1 dedicated latin room was great. Drinks are reasonable. It was pretty clean during pride weekend! Although one thing to harp on was asking for change from a particular bartender. I asked and he said let me serve them first, I said sure no biggie. I kept trying to make eye contact as he tended to others then I finally said can I grab those $1s then he overtly gave me a long irritated speech with there are other bartenders you can ask, I gotta serve drinks. Then I said, how do you expect me to tip your dancers?!! I would suggest they have packets of 10-$1s for a quick change to be able to tip the dancers.

Drinks are strong, dancers are great, and DJs are bumpin'. Really enjoyed my time at Piranha, I'd definitely recommend to locals and tourists alike.

Honestly, they are not consistent with their prices. I order from other bartenders the eact drink and charges me $12 but this guy ccharges $13 for well drinks. This place is overpriced. Even beer is expensive af! Music is whatever. I wish they have a section dedicated to edm and a section dedicated to hiphop. But yeah, this bartender sucks and he has a terrible attitude like he's better than everyone

What can I say? Pretty weak pours, covers on a Monday night, out of state/in state price differences, and an insane amount of security cameras at forehead level. Is this a gay bar or not? Personally, I'm also tired of the gothic/dungeony look. We're not at the Abbey. Drop the act and stand on your own two feet. I like a more clean cut look. I am glad there are some proper dance areas, but they are small and there is no outside chill area. They could open up the couches and put table service upstairs only but I guess not! Of course, this is all just my personal opinion!

Piranha nightclub is a staple at the Las Vegas Fruitloop. It is the largest gay nightclub in the city and comes with several rooms and 2 floors. This location is usually much busier than all of the other gay bars or nightclubs and has a more wild ambiance. I've been here dozens of times, and, for the most part have enjoyed myself each time! Besides the drinks being extremely expensive, and not that strong people come here for the dancing, and the drag shows and the diversity in music across the club. I think that you have to be in a very certain mood to party if you're going to go to piranha, it is not a place to have a chill time or to have a conversation, but rather to dance the night away.

Pretty cool spot. We paid $20 to skip the line, at my buddy's insistence. I was skeptical, but turned out to be a fun night. They play millennial music here in the main rooms, which was perfect. Party music was so much better pre-2015. Classic latin hits on the Latin floor by the huge outdoor patio was cool too. Where Piranha shines most is the clientele. Holy crap, so many cute guys. Vegas is on the come up and is growing in population post-pandemic, as it's one of the more affordable big cities (when you get off the strip). Consequently, it's ghey party scene is getting better. Last time I visited Piranha, years ago, it was pretty sad -- even on a weekend. Not now. Place was poppin.

10/10 music first and foremost. They have multiple rooms which also means they play a wider range of music. I went Sunday night and one room was play solid 2010-2018 hip hop Brittany spears and booty shaking Meg the stallion. The other room was playing very Hispanic boot wearing music with performers in drag. Music and effort 10/10. The thing to keep in mind for this place is who you go with. This play is very much a male gay bar (at least Sunday nights). There's not a lot of women and those who are there are clearly groups of girls hanging out. Lesbians aren't as common. So if you're a single woman either come with friends or way less sober than I was when I went in to meet friends as a woman who looks very straight (and was on her own). This is a 10/10 spot if you're a man or if you're a girl in a group.

Spent $60 for a few of us to get in just to have to leave because there was puke that wasn't cleaned up that got on my clothes.

Tonight was an amazing night for me and my friends. First time and we can't wait to go back again. Alex the Cuban guy at the front bar he made our night, he was a sweetheart,best customer service ever definitely coming back just for him. Five stars for u guys good job

As we try to move through this End-endemic life we've all been calling "the new normal," Learning to cope with our everyday stress and situations can go a long way. What I ended up doing one Friday night, me and my work colleague took steps to unwind. Alcohol in moderation is always key. Nevada residents are charged half the price for cover compared to out of state folks. But who cares, it's Las Vegas! You never know who will be performing, so bring your dollar bills, enjoy, and be happy!

Piranha was amazing! The go-go boys were very nice and the bartenders were awesome as well! John was my favorite bartender and he let me take a picture with him!

Music is 100% but if you want over priced drinks that are extremely water down Come here If you drink here please order shots and do yourself a favor It's so water down it feels like a scam I would never order a mix drink again here

Honestly, save yourself the Google search and just come to Piranha and order some bottle service. My friends and I have been coming for so many years and are happy to now know Emilio and his team, Andrew and Carol. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by him and the staff. They made sure our glasses were never empty and had the best time ever. The ambiance of the bar is great. We love the many room with music for anyone. I personally like the pop music room but if Latin music is more your thing there is a whole different part of Piranha for you. Simply put, we love everyone there. We love the staff, we love the boys, we love the drinks. Can't wait to come back soon!!

We enjoyed a private booth upstairs in the main dance area. The staff were incredible and the entertainment was fantastic. Take note that the party does not get going until midnight and plan accordingly.

Was concerned when I asked for water for myself and my partner and the bar tender charged us $24. And when my straight passing female friend asked for water and was given it for free. The bar tender was tatted up and wearing an LA Dodgers hat btw. Security guard Debbie tried to make it right and was so accommodating. I know that being charged for water isn't the biggest deal in the world. But it's the little things that make queer spaces feel safe and inclusive. Don't spend your queer dollars here! The staff (for the most part) will treat you like crap.

Worst bartender! We came as a group from San Diego, a friend recommended us but the bartender named Jeremiah altitudes us very badly. My friend wanted to buy me a drink but I had such a sugary drink that I wanted to change but he charged us again. These payments were definitely canceled! By the way, I asked for water but he wanted to sell me a bottle. In this country cup of water has to be free if you sell alcohol. He didn't know that! He almost kicked us out of the bar with his answers. And because I was sitting at the bar I could see that he was doing all the drinks wrong. Too little alcohol, too much soft drink. If I come again I will never buy a drink from that boy. Also last think; at the end of the conversation he told me not to talk to me anymore, I have never seen such a bartender in my life. It is really bad for friends who work and labor because they lose us because of people like this who do not like their job.

Had the best time in Vegas at this club had to come back two days in a row. Love the different music selection and we were pleasantly surprised with a drag show we did not know was happening. Will be coming back! Eva and Giavanna were amazing!

We went on Labor Day Monday so no food truck outside sadly but the drinks were strong and the ambiance was great. Clean bathrooms even without attendant. Friendly yet sassy bartenders. Amazing drag performances at 1am and talented dancers on the podiums. Shoooooot even the security was attractive! This was my fifth time going so I am obviously coming back again.

Welcome to Piranha Nightclub... the grande of all things lgbtq+ bars & nightclubs in La Vegas, Nevada. This long standing spot is always a hit... Though, "The party don't start til I walk in..."... just kidding it's more like after 11 pm like clockwork... Sometimes not until midnight... Tic tock tick... I popped in for drinks and dancing with my roommate and his closest friends as we were all unexpectedly in Vegas in the same time at the same place... having looped over from Freezone just before in the queer scene of Las Vegas known as the fruit loop because of the circle of lgbt and lgbtq+ owned clubs and bars in the area, all within walking distance and at each corner of Paradise Rd /Naples Drive where Piranha heads up the line up. While there was a $10 cover to get in the day after Christmas... (some shade given), there was also a lot of amazing service from the moment we walked in. A pretty easy ID check and even easier payment with card or cash for cover. Even though it had been a few years since my last trip here... but following the metaphorical white rabbit into this land of wonder... The vibe still feels very big and very intimate at the same time... Almost like hanging out at a giant estate converted into a nightclub... They have a fireplace, stage for performances as well as their dancers... humongous bar area when you first walk in and bartenders on both sides... Not to mention chairs and tables all along the walls. The bathrooms are usually pretty easy and they do have male and female though not a gender neutral yet of any kind... To my knowledge. All restrooms are just before door number two aka the second part of this Alex in Wonderland club of non-stop fun... There is another bar area as well as a cool dance floor, even bigger stage and an upstairs (limited capacity) area that is usually closed off until certain later times or only for special events... sometimes for VIP. If I had to compare Piranha to something I'd ask if you've ever been to West Hollywood in Los Angeles California... Well then you might know a "little place" called the Abbey... and Piranha is basically the Abbey of the Fruit Loop District in a lot of ways... Amazing service, great bartenders/mixologist, beautiful go-go dancers, friendly bouncers, killer music and multiple rooms and areas to dance, hang, explore and enjoy yourself. They're also very much like the Abbey in the sense that drinks are high in price, especially compared to neighboring spots and once in a while (although consistently here) there is a cover charge... One of the only places to do this in the mecca of queer bars and all thing gay vegas. I've had a lot of good experiences here and coming here during the midst of everything was a nice escape. I definitely tipped my bartenders and absolutely tipped the go-go men... All of whom were very practicing great health and safety. Piranha does provide sanitizer in places, but they don't currently require mask or proof of vaccinations yet... Definitely would recommend for a fun night out, a birthday or an event. They do have some good deals at times especially for holiday weekends.

Come here if you want to be harassed by standing in line to go to the restroom. It might have just been the crowd for the night, but more than once I had other people there try to touch me. I had to dea with it, or lose my place in the bathroom line. There was also a fight, and the security was giving me a hard time because I wanted to leave. Overall very uncomfortable environment. The drag was amazing, and the crowd was definitely high energy!

NO FREE WATER. Atmosphere fine, service was friendly enough. The bartender refusing to give us free tap water in 110 degree heat killed the vibe and we left. They charge $6 for half a bottle of water, so you can't hang out here all night unless you're willing to pay for a few of those. Sucks that after cover charge, expensive drinks, and tipping dancers, they won't just give you water.

Cover: 20.00 bucks for women 30.00 for men if you're out of state Discount if you're a local (new one for me) Layout: Trust me it's bigger than you think lol. When you walk around they are multiple rooms with different vibes. The rabbit hole getts deeper as you move along Entertainment: DJs different Dj for each room yes each room Dancers: Yes gogo dancers the whole night; in each room. Awesome that they switch them up often. Drag Shows: They were on average they were good. Out of the few, I saw tonight only 2 BROUGHT THEIR A+++ GAME. The others were meh. However, I hate how they kept cutting off the dance floor for them. You ruined the vibe a bit by switching it up. Drinks: They could be better and were way too pricey. SIDENOTE: Some of the bartenders refuse to give water in cups. They were only offering bottled water regardless if you aid or not. Establishments are supposed to by law provide water for customer OVERALL: I had a good time because I was with a group and we were kind of LIT before we left. However, there are some things that threw me off that would actually make me consider coming back.

Don't go here, bartenders will serve people who came to the bar after you'd been waiting several rounds then have you kicked out for being upset about it.

$10 cover for locals $20 for non, drinks are 100% more than OTHER local bars, $14 for a vodka RedBull, $7 any other LOCAL bar you're already $34 deep getting in a ordering your first drink, yeah dudes shakes their ass whoopie! This place is a money pit for everybody. Music choice is good, atmosphere is good, but cost an arm and a leg to enjoy yourself also why have broken urinals if you're charging people to even step foot in the establishment y'all make enough no reason for broken essentials. (3rd urinal, bottom floor) Love you bye

Sadly, as a return customer, not letting anyone with a backpack- a tiny little Prada backpack attached to someone's back,-which they could thoroughly look through!) is ridiculous. Especially with nothing in it except for the load of money we were trying to spend. Quite disappointing, considering we were wanting a couple of bottles.

The best part of visiting Piraña is getting treatment from our favorite host Emilio , he is a true representative of grace , fun attitude and handsome !!! He sets up the bar high for what to expect inside !! Loved to See him when we visit the club for fun night out

Welcoming and sociable atmosphere. There are several areas to gather, even late on a Saturday night. Each space offers a different vibe, allowing you to change settings based on your mood. I felt comfortable in each area, surrounded by different types of people. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the security team made me feel safe without being intrusive throughout my visit.

Had the best night here watching drag. Way more intimate and friendly than clubs on the strip. Fun bartenders and SEXY go-go dancers too. Our night went south when I lost my purse and had to fly back the next day without it. BUT THEN the legendary operations manager Meloni somehow found it, responded to my lost and found email and shipped it back to me He even included a Piranha nightclub staff shirt (see photo). We thought we came here for world class drag performances, but really it was for the five star customer service. We'll be back next time we're in Vegas!

Horrible bartenders with an attitude, not worth the cover the music is better when theres no cover, dont waste your money

Omg my girls and I had such a blast! Emilio was the best VIP host he took such great care of us, super personable and was very attentive. We definitely are looking to forward to coming back with him again! Make sure you ask for him you will not regret it at all!!!! If i could give 10 stars i would !!!

The drinks were strong. the bartenders and all the other people that worked there were amazing and very friendly. The three drag queens that performed were extremely limber and their performances were beyond top-notch! Very, very, sexy and hot! The drinks were very expensive but the cover was only $10 for Sunday and they have to pay the entertainers so it's understandable. There was a club across the street that they're affiliated with called Gipsy. I went over there but it was a complete snore and almost completely empty. But they did have some bar food. The male dancers were phenomenal and very friendly and ripped.

I was so disappointed Been wanting to visit since my first time in Vegas almost 10 years ago. Somehow it never worked out. We were greeted but security who watched us walk the wrong way to the back of the building. We finally made our way into what ay first seemed like a fun party. After buying 2 $9 beers we sat at the bar to play machines. Almost two hours of being ignored by the bartender we were comped for two beers then never received another drink. Mediocre drag show, we have better queens in Toledo. The dancers were varied and handsome. The other bartender seemed friendly and very much on it. We went down the street to Freezone where we were welcomed immediately.

It's extremely inconsiderate and messed up that they allow smoking inside. Everybody knows that second hand smoking is extremely bad for your health, people can actually die from second hand smoking. Google if you don't believe me. Smoking in such enclosed space is even worse. Plus when people drink they smoke more. As a result, it's impossible to breath there! I have dry eye syndrome, my eyes were actually tearing up from the smoke! I'm okay with e-cigarettes because it's truly is a compromise when smokers get their smokes and people around them don't suffer. But allowing to smoke cigarettes is inconsiderate and disrespectful to non smokers. To me, its discrimination of my rights ro breath clear air. Never again!

Carlos was amazing to our group and we even snagged a great pic with him too I'm glad my friend invited our group to hang here! Super nice workers and accommodating. The music was boppin' and I had a fun experience here for my first visit.

This place has social distancing down hand, I've been here plenty of times before Covid and this place would be packed out too, bottom everywhere. This was my second time coming post covid, we came last night New Year's Eve 12/31/2020 and we arrived around 9pm right when they opened. We wanted to make sure we got in since everything in Las Vegas last night was overpriced. Being a Las Vegas local it's nice to get out and enjoy our beautiful city we have here and that's what we did. Masks are required, temperatures are taken at the door, ids are scanned and your in the door last night was a $20 cover charge, you are seated at your table, your not allowed to visit other tables or dance with others, but you can do so at your own table. The tables are social distanced apart. They had a DJ and it was awesome!! It felt like old times being in a club! I had so much fun going out it felt like some normalcy, drinks were well made and our waiter was super sweet and attentive, we ended up meeting some really great people and having an amazing time! Thank you Pirhana for an incredible New Years!! Bring it on 2021 we're ready for you!!!

Emilio, is my sales person at Neiman Marcus, he invited me to check out Pirahnas; I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Thank you Emilio for taking good care of me. I had an incredible time. I will definitely be going back because of you. Also, love your outfit always looking sharp. If you have not checked out Pirahnas, you must.

I highly recommend this place. We brought my elderly mother from El paso texas to see Paloma Makary. Emilio went above and beyond to accommodate us and our party of 8 at the best of his abilities, even thought he had the night off and we had not made reservations. He made sure to have his staff sit us in the VIP area. My mother had the best view of the stage. He went the the extent to send a message to Paloma Makary (performer) and ask if she could stop by our table to say hi. Had a really great experience overall. Thank you Paloma and Emilio

Do not go to this place, it is sexist. I went there for my bachelorette and as soon as they saw I was a women they started mistreating me. There was a white security guy and he started shoving me for no reason when I was dancing with my group saying I had to be kicked out for no reason other then touching the dance floor!
