"This intimate bistro was a grocery shop in a former life. Opened by the team behind Nice restaurant Les Agitateurs, this place serves up seasonal and fresh dishes playfully drawing inspiration from both classic and more exotic dishes: lamb in lettuce-leaf "tacos", "River Kwai" ravioli or, a classic if ever there was one, pigeon pithiviers and foie gras… On this short menu, most dishes are designed for sharing (for two people), to a background of trendy music. The "living" wine list also embraces the orange wine craze. Sunday brunch." - Michelin Inspector

I came here on a Thursday evening, for dinner, with friends to try out local french dishes, with prior reservation. All the food we tried out was tasty, especially the appetizers such as pulled meat and mint, and the cannelloni. The desserts in particular the Crepe Flambe (or Crepe Suzette) were amazing and are NOT to be missed out. Nice atmosphere.

Fabulous food in Nice! Absolutely delicious meal. We will go back for sure. We sat outside, very nice setting, Haddock and Quail dishes were spot on, as was the desert, crepes suzette. Can’t go wrong!

Very cute restaurant. The food was great, we had three appetisers and a dessert, and they were all delicious. Service was understanding about our flight delay, and generally very kind and professional. We came with our dog, and she was more than welcome.

Excellent service, good food. The service was very good throughout the meal. Both the servers were most attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. I'm not a critic, so there's not much more than to say all the dishes were rally tasty and well presented.

We came to Piourette with great expectations- sadly these were not met. Were cosy decor and friendly service, but the food did not meet the standard expected from a Michellin knife and fork restaurant. Maybe we are biased coming from Copenhagen, but the the food was either under seasoned or over salted. Two of us had the special of the day - a terrine - which was presented at the table and the third had the fried chicken. The terrine was very cold and bland in taste. Nicely done visually but under salted and boring. The chicken was - well fried chicken - like you get it everywhere. For main course we tried the bao buns and the haddock. The buns were terrible- the dough was undercooked and the ratio between undercooked dough and meet was unfortunately with lots of dough and very little meat - we had much better bao’s at The Gare de Nice. The fish was over salted to a point were it was almost inedible. So we decided to go elsewhere for dessert.

Second « gastronomy bistrot » restaurant of Agitateurs which is a 1* Michelin restaurant. The food was very tasty, I would definitely recommend. They have two services and we arrived on the second one. Ended up being close to the kitchen door which meant lots of back & forth but otherwise very good experience food wise. I’d go again.
