Pisano's Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen

Alright. Normally when they are swamped I give them a pass on how long it takes to get my food. I ordered online and was given a pickup time of 9:10 (I ordered at 840pm). I got there at 910 and finally got out of there at 940pm. I saw others come and go with their orders. I was told it was a cook switch that was the issue. On another note. These are their “Jumbo” wings. Don’t spend your money if this is the norm. Also they were slow.

With some tweaks, I think this would have been way better. The bad: Our biggest complaint is the temperature of the dining area itself. It was HOT. Also, the pizza crust, especially towards the middle, was really, really soggy. I think it was due to it sitting on the serving pan. If that's the case, it should be served on a rack to keep this from happening. The meatballs were kind of one note. The Chicken Pisconi sauce was runny. The sauce didn't really seem to coat the noodles at all. It definitely could have used some extra lemon or acid to brighten it up. The good: The service was great. The whole team seemed to be in sync and working hard. They were polite, quick, and overall really great. We had a pink Starburst cocktail, and it was so good. The chicken in the Chicken Pisconi was juicy and cooked to perfection. As I mentioned before, if the sauce had been on point, this dish would have been great. It had such great potential. The spaghetti noodle's texture was better than average. If the pizza crust wasn't so soggy, it would have ben great. I feel like the flavor was there. We had a deluxe and even with the wet bread texture I ate 2 slices. Maybe I came on a day the AC was broken but if I tried it again I would either eat outside or make sure the dining area wasn't sweltering. Over all good potential but not quite there.

Food was good. In fact, one of the best pizzas I have ever had! The sauce was incredible on “The Fun Guy!” if you have to sit outside, you’re gonna get hot and you’re gonna swat flies. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Walked in and was greeted kindly immediately! Was soon seated and had a kind waiter who quickly took our drink orders! We were served drinks and then brought delicious rolls! The rolls were delicious and covered in butter and garlic (absolutely scrumptious!) The rolls had a crispy outside and a gooey, soft, inside!! It took a while to receive our meals, but when we did they were fresh and hot! All food was delicious. Our waiter was extremely friendly! My brother got the loaded fries and kids chicken tenders tossed in mild buffalo sauce. He said they were amazing and he recommends the loaded fries. I recommend this restaurant!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel like valued guests. Our server, Esco was awesome, super attentive, very friendly, offering great recommendations and kept everything flowing smoothly. The food was outstanding — we got the wings and a slice of pizza. I especially loved the wings, which I’d come back for in a heartbeat. The ambiance was fun, breezy yet stylish, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch. Prices were fair for the quality and experience. We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent food and great service!

i absolutely LOVE coming here! i had angelina (i believe was her name) as my server the other night and she was fantastic! any time i’ve came here, the service has been great and very quick. the food is also great and i have never had any issues with it, made evident by the picture of what was left of my food 💀. they have an awesome drink selection and great specials, that’s definitely something that brings my friends and i back. pisanos is our favorite spot for sure, and we’ll keep coming!

Our family (my daughter, wife and I) had dinner on Friday evening... It's a favorite 😍 place... Easily among the very popular restaurants in Kennesaw... Even though on a Friday evening we arrived without a confirmed booking, the hostess gave us a table quicker than expected... Rachelle took our order as soon as we were ready, and she was super efficient, helpful, courteous and genuinely gave her best service proactively, to ensure that we got excellent quality... Having understood that we were celebrating a birthday, she put together a quick dessert for us (on the house)... That was the icing on the cake. Thank you very much.

Neat place in the downtown Kennesaw area. Was packed and super busy. Battened took good care of us. The front door was letting in some extremely cold blast of air. Beer was cold and unfortunately so was the lasagna. Plate was hot but that was it. Very cold center of food. My tomato soup was pretty good and the bread wasn’t hot either. Wasn’t a terrible experience and k ow the 6 or more In the kitchen were hustling back there trying to keep up.

I'm surprised that this establishment doesn't have 5 stars because we had a really good experience with food, drinks and customer service. We went in on a Saturday night and wait was around 40 mins; however, it felt like it was shorter. When we got our table Angelina was our server; she was the sweetest! She gave us tasty recommendations and they did not disappoint ! This place was a vibe and had great music as well. I would definitely recommend and will come back when I'm in the area !

First of all, I love the ambiance. This is a neighborhood place and very casual. It can get loud though. If you're a bee drinker, (I'm not) there are lots of choices and they always have a special on sale. Lunch specials are very affordable, under $8, and filling. Pizza is their specialty and you can get lots of combinations. However, their entrees can be a little iffy. I ordered the chicken Picata and although the sauce was excellent and the chicken looked good, it was tough and rubbery. It came with a choice of salads. I chose the Caesar which excellent; crispy Romaine with parmesan shavings. Also served with garlic rolls. My husband had the spaghetti with meatballs. He enjoyed it, but thought the meatballs might have been the frozen ones you get from Costco. Their Italian sub is really good. It's served hot with melted cheese with an assortment of meats, tomato slices and lettuce. Ask for the really crispy fries. So good.

First time ordering from this store and there will not be a 2nd order. Cheese Sticks were over cooked & they forgot the marinara sauce. Chicken Parmesan was also overcooked & dry. Not only did they forget the marinara sauce with cheese sticks but the parm had very little sauce. Not to mention and I had asked & paid for extra sauce and got zero. Both the chicken & what sauce was there was fairly bland. I had read other reviews and it sounds like it used to be good but has gone downhill over last few months. I was hoping they had just hit a rough patch but no, they need a new chef.

I just left Pisano's as a first time customer and will definitely be back! They quickly greeted me at the door and took me to a booth. My server was Lucy. She arrived at my table within a minute of being seated and took my drink order. I told her it was my first time there and she seemed excited to help me with my order. I chose the Hawaiian pizza plus Jalapeños. Don't judge. Lucy was very friendly and professional. She seemed to sincerely want me to enjoy my visit. The pizza was very good and Lucy checked on me at least three times during my meal. As I looked around, I saw other customers receiving good service from other servers. The food at their tables looked appetizing too. I truly enjoyed my experience at Pisano's and heartily recommend them. Lucy even talked with me about places to get good pie. Marietta Diner will be getting a visit soon. Thank you Lucy for making Pisano's a great choice.

Many choices, especially if you have dietary issues. I enjoyed the chicken Marsala, their bread is light and fluffy. Everyone is helpful and able to provide suggestions if you're unsure. The best part, there is plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors. The area is relaxed and you don't have to bring a tie.

Really good pizza and food definitely top four in Kennesaw. Quality service and energetic and friendly staff. Clean restaurant environment. The great food made up for the only negative, which was no air conditioning and flies, Trying to enjoy a meal with you. Other than that, this is a wonderful restaurant outdoor seating and great options for lunch or dinner

Best of the best! Perfect location in downtown Kennesaw. They have drink specials during the week. We go here so often I couldn't even believe I haven't written a review yet! Every single server we have had has been incredible - so bubbly, helpful, attentive, and sweet. Some of the hostesses aren't as warm but they get us seated quickly and I can't be mad at that. The pizza is so freaking GOOD! Those garlic parmesan rolls are soft yet crunchy perfection. You have to try the bruschetta! It's my favorite! So good! I crave it all the time and wish they gave you more than 5 slices of it. My kids and I loveeee their cheese pizza - seriously SO good and they never get it wrong. (Trust me, I've had meh pizza before lol.) my husband lis adventurous and loves trying out their specialty pizzas (Buffalo chicken, cheeseburger, I even think they had a cheesesteak?). Their fries were okay so we stick with what we love. The wings were good! I love that they participate in so many events with our small town and they even participate in the high school's booster cards (we definitely use them!). They even have coupons to clip and collect on their pizza boxes and when you collect five, you can redeem for a pizza inside the restaurant! We are one coupon away. Lol! Love love love swinging by Pisano's for lunch/dinner with my family or even take-out at home.

Pisano's is the type of spot you come to when you want a quality Mom and Pop Italian restaurant. I've been living in the area for YEARS and never been here, for some reason. On a whim, my family and I were craving Italian and decided to give them a try. We were pleasantly surprised with the variety on the menu and the reasonable prices. I had the baked penne which comes with a salad (I got Greek) and garlic rolls. Hubby had some wings and a 10" pizza which he customized (half cheeseburger, half meat lovers or whatever it's called). After ordering, the waitress informed us that they ran out of pickles (for the cheeseburger pizza) so she graciously gave us a discount on our check for the inconvenience. They don't have a kids menu but we were able to order 1 slice of pizza for our 4 year old, which was more than enough for him since it's a huge NY style slice. They even cut it into squares for his convenience. He devoured it! Overall, the food and the service is good. We will definitely be back.

I've tried this place twice, I'm a firm believer of second chances. Second time around won a repeat pizza eater! I've tried two separate pies and good ole' faithful Pepperoni and Cheese hit the spot. But, they have loads of pies to choose from. The location of this place can't get much better and the outdoor seating on a good day, well, any day is tight. Not a lot of seating, which I think is just right. #SupplyAndDemand I came on a Thursday with mama and they had live music outside by their outdoor oven. I say this because they do different things, open late, have good pie and super friendly. Now...they are busy a lot which means service standards can be stretched. That was my first experience coupled with a natty pie, messy salad and I stayed thirsty. I got em' on an off day, it happens. Go try this place even if you get it to go, you'll be back!

New to the area was excited to find a local pizza place that offered artichokes as a "fancy" topping, honestly that was the main reason we placed our $100 order only to have it arrive minus the artichokes I paid extra to gave added to my pizza. The wings weren't great and the pizza dough seemed lacking, overall not worth the money we spent. The search continues...

Great pizza place, you can sit inside or out. They have tvs to watch games too pizza and all food tasted fresh and service was too!

The food was so so....the ambiance was interrupted because there were so many flies in there I couldn't enjoy my meal for trying to swat flies...the service was slow.

People are trying to make it. Pisano's is trying to make it happen! When you patronize this business it comes with benefits. Good food, good beer, good people who care, good times. What more can you ask for? Staff is attentive and hospitable. Beer is winter cold, the aroma when you drive up in the parking g lot says "Italiano". Music can stand a change but while I was there it fit in with the Kennesaw vibration. No complaints. Come in and you will be treated like familia.

Came for lunch at 11, and was one of the first ones there. Took an hour to get one pizza plus all the plates were dirty, wife's wine glass was dirty and my beer glass was dirty plus floating stuff in it, dirty utensils. Pizza is good but service just sucks.

My husband and I had dinner at Pisanos for just the 2nd time today. In a metro area with lots of good food, pizza in particular Pisanos stands out. The service is great as well. Such friendly staff. The atmosphere is just fun (good music) and makes for an enjoyable experience. This is a definite go to for us now!

Incredible food and good service. The prices were reasonable and was a nice casual environment. The stars for me were the pepperoni pinwheels with the delicious marinara sauce. Also had the best Greek salad I've ever had. Loved this place so much we ordered again two nights later. Plan for a wait for a table because this place is so popular, but it's well worth the wait for the best Italian food around!

Usually a great experience, but tonight the restaurant allowed and apparently encouraged some middle aged gentleman to be loud and obnoxious. In fact a waitress sat with them after her shift. Our food was outstanding, our service was outstanding, but the overall experience tonight SUCKED! I know it's a pizza restaurant and not an upscale restaurant. But loud ass drunks aren't fun

I just love Pisano's!! The team is amazing, which makes the service incredible, and then the food is DELICIOUS!! If you haven't experienced this goodness yet... what's stopping you? Do it!! You know you want to and you won't be disappointed!!

This was our first time here! We put our names on the wait! Wait for our table, then we noticed we were the on the only ones outside after 2 couples came after us. I walked up to hostess desk to ask her why she seated the couple before us, I could clearly see their names written below us and she had scratched their names off the list. Then states oh, I was just about to come get y'all So then she leads us to the worst table in the restaurant, but before I could ask to be moved, she drops the menu on the table and leaves. So I thought I'll wait until our waiter comes and then we will move. But guess what? A waiter wasn't assigned to our table. Yes, we couldn't left but I love providing honest reviews of my experiences! So here we are.. One of the waiters noticed that no one had come to take our order, and came to over. She apologized and graciously took our order.. She was great! I loved the garlic knots! My hubby ordered the chicken marsala and I ordered the chicken piccata! The Portion sizes are big. However my chicken piccata was a little tasteless. In light of the lemon flavor which I do love however there was no seasoning. My husband's chicken masala was overly sweet! I added a little salt to my dish and it balanced out the the tartness of the lemon.The dishes were not horrible but they do need a little tweaking. I would've rated them at least a three had the service been better.

We are upset we haven't started coming here until more recently. Pisano's has great food, a lively atmosphere (with live music on some days), and their servers are Amazing! We have not had a bad meal yet and when asked is something supposed to be this way the first response is what can we do to make it right? Focus on the customer's experience is clear and appreciated. We recommend the white pizza, chicken parm sandwich or roll, and the Fries!! Be sure to get a side of fries with dinner for the table.

Pisano's is convenient to downtown Kennesaw and has great tasting food and quick service. Amazing staff!!

My family and I went to Pisano's for the first time. We were immediately greeted and sat at a table. Our server came within a couple of minutes to take our drink orders. We sat inside because it's super hot outside but there is outdoor seating as well. The vibe was pretty cool. We ordered the margherita pizza, 2 slices of cheese pizza for the kids, a salad, and the pizza pinwheels. Everything was really good. The pinwheels were my favorite. The drinks were good, too. I got the red sangria. We didn't have to wait long even though it was pretty busy. The server was also very nice and attentive. The price was also very reasonable. By the time we left around 7 pm there was a line outside waiting for seating. Anyway, I would recommend and plan to return. Hope you have a good experience as well.

We went here for dinner on a Friday night and the service was good the wait for the food was long but when the food did come it was hot and fresh and it was delicious. They had a huge parking lot and the ambience was great as well not a big restaurant but big enough with indoor and outdoor seating. There was no music but that was ok because we got to talk to each-other without screaming at one another. It was a cool spot will definitely come back. I have no pics I was too hungry.

Went last minute with some neighbors on a Saturday evening. Knew it would be busy but gave it a shot. About a 30 minute wait and no real waiting area when busy. Things get better when we were seated. Waiter was a guy named Hunter and he was awesome. Very busy but he had a great attitude and was engaging. I had a late lunch so just had a Cesar salad and a beer. They were out of my first choice (Dry County) but did have the Scofflaw on draft. Salad was good, the people at the table seemed to really like their pizza.

Had the most amazing service and pizzas! The beer was great as well! We will definitely be back!

This place was quite fitting for a post hike meal. We each ordered entree which came with a salad. My friend enjoyed her spaghetti and meatballs and the eggplant rotini was pretty good- more cheese than anything else. The highlight for me were the garlic bread rolls. Def baked fresh and served warm. The ambience is casual, nothing too exciting. There's 2 indoor dining areas and benches out side. TVs throughout to watch sports too. Parking was easy since it's located inside a plaza so no need to pay to park. #winning.

Server was very nice which is why I gave a rating above a 1 BUT the food was terrible. I ordered the new Cajun chicken pasta, and it actually tasted like ramen noodles. Minimal flavor and the chicken definitely came from the frozen section of Kroger. My friend ordered fettuccine Alfredo and it was honestly the most insulting dish I've ever tasted. It literally tasted like plain heavy cream. None of us will be returning.

Wow! We found our pizza place ! Yes! Tuesday they had blue moon beer special! We had the 18"" deluxe and delicious . Crust was scrumptious and sauce was really good. We need to go back and try other things too.

I would like to say love this restaurant however this past week had an unpleasant dining experience. My husband and mom both ordered a dinner that should have been spaghetti as on of the dishes. When they received their order it was not spaghetti it was angel hair pasta noodles where cut in half....neither of them like angel hair pasta.....when they questioned the waiter he then contacted the cook and was told they had no spaghetti. I asked for a manger and was told they did not h have one on site. It would have been n8ce to speak with a manager as we should have been told when placing the order they did not have any spaghetti.

Some good spaghetti and meatballs and hip spot! The service was good and the restaurant was located conveniently to my hotel.

Pisano's is usually a go-to for some friends of mine that live in Kennesaw anytime they host folks at their home. Given that, I have had Pisano's a few times over the past few years and can say that I enjoy it each time. It's not the most mind blowing pizza, but it is a solid slice of pie. While all my visits have been takeout, I have visited Pisano's to pick up and can say that it is a good looking restaurant that is always clean and is laid out well. The place is not that big, but the dining room, albeit small, features a bar, some tables and a few booths. Then you have the patio, which is really the place to be, especially around sunset! Service wise, we have never had issues. On our last visit, they misquoted preparation time for our food and due to the delay after we arrived, they proactively gave us a 20% discount. On each visit, they have always been nice and helpful, so no complaints at all on service. Food wise, we have tried a few things: - Stuffed Pizza - Pepperoni Pizza - Cheese Pizza - Garlic Parm Rolls While we have branched out, the pizza is the constant that makes it into each of our visits. My friends are from NJ, so they really love this place as it reminds them of the pies they can get back home. For me, the pizza is decent. The slices are large and the pies are definitely NY style with thin dough/crust, light sauce and not too heavy with the toppings. While the pizza is tasty, it tends to lack seasoning for me, and while they sauce it lightly the slices always seem to droop when eating. The parm rolls were solid, baked well with a fluffy top and crisp base! I personally didn't try the stuffed pizza, but my friend stated it was decent, a little more bread than she was hoping as the bread/filling ratio was off for her. Overall, while I am more of a Sicilian slice type of guy, I won't say no to a Pisano's pie! It is a good spot in a good location for the downtown Kennesaw area and as long as my friends keep inviting me over, we will continue to scoop up a few pies from Pisano's!

Best bruschetta ever. Cheeseburger pizza was delicious with a great thin crust. Daily beer specials. Nothing fancy, just delicious.

We love this local pizza joint! There is plenty of parking- they are located on the corner of Summers St & Main St. Recently, Pisano's added a covered patio area, which is amazing for super hot days. We started with the loaded fries and their garlic rolls. I absolutely love the garlic rolls here- they are the right portion of garlic. You can order a whole pizza or by the slice. I tried a slice of the Buffalo Chicken. It was delicious! The perfect level of spice. Their wings are also pretty tasty. We tried the Lemonyaki flavor and OMG! Top 2 wings I've had around here. Highly recommend! Service was great even with how busy they were at the time.

The 2020 Atlanta Restaurant Passbook brought me here! Interior: Clean. Outdoor seating available. There's a couple booths, high tops and bar seating as well. Food: Margherita Pizza ($12.65): Meh. I wouldn't recommend this one. This was practically cheese pizza. The basil was shriveled and barely there. Chicken Florentine ($12.65): This white pizza was very bland. Deluxe Pizza ($12.65): This tasted pretty standard to other deluxe pizzas out there. Has lots of toppings so it ended up being salty Philly Pizza ($12.65): Likely my favorite of the four pizzas I ordered. I'm a fan of Philly cheesesteak so this was pretty on point! Service: Great! Everyone was very helpful from placing my order on the phone to a speedy pickup. Overall, Pisano's is A-OK in my book. Worth a try if you're nearby with pizza cravings.

Pros: Patio Vibes at Sunset Meatball Sliders Prices ($) Varied Menu 10% Discount for Teachers Cons: Misquoted Wait Time -- They said 30 mins. We waited an hour!! Pizza -- It was only okay. We had to salt it. It was forgettable even if affordable. Wings -- These had an awesome texture, but the lemonyaki was wayyyyy too salty, and I love salt. I'm torn. I wanted to love this place, and some of the food was really good, but there are too many great places around to have "just okay" food unless you are on a really tight budget. A loaded slice of pizza was $3.50.

I tried Pisano's for the first time over the weekend. I ordered an 18" deluxe pizza. It was very busy when I pulled up, but I ordered online, and the food was ready when I arrived. I've heard a lot about Pisano's, and they did not disappoint. The service was fast, employees were polite and friendly, and the food was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try the antipasto salad.

This place is a cozy spot, with delicious food, great service and fair prices. Would def come back.

Such a perfect spot! The food was amazing, so many choices but our precious server Reece took the time to point out some popular choices and we settled on two of the best dishes on the menu, chicken piccata and the Cajun chicken pasta... BUT, those garlic knots are top knotch, could have eaten 3 baskets of them.... We will definitely add this to our weekly date nights.

Maybe EVERYONE was having a bad day, but we did not have a good experience on my first visit to Pisano's. My brother suggests we go here, it was where he wanted to go to eat as I took him out for his 40th birthday. It wasn't busy at all (5pm on a Sunday). We were here for 25 minutes plus before we were even brought out drinks. I had to ask a different server to get our server so we could order. There was a long hair on my pizza. Whole evening was a train wreck. The server was struggling and we didn't want to hold it against him, but it was just an all around bad trip.

Cruz. Our waiter, An exceptional personable and mannerly young man. He made our night out top notch. He was so helpful to us because we have a son looking to go to KSU. Cruz attends KSU and gave us great insight and suggestions. He continued to check on us and was super quick with the refill of beers. I will ask for him every time! ***We go out to eat 3-4 times a week. PIsanos is at the top of our rotation list. We have always enjoyed going there. Close to home, great specials, live music, awesome service and food. I ordered the penne carbonara and added artichoke hearts. Absolutely delicious. But I was full already from the garlic rolls and the best Caeser salad I've ever had. Blue Moon on draft special on Tuesdays for $2.50. I would have preferred an orange, but they were out of them. Husband ordered a Calzone. Ctuz told us that it got burned and they were making a new one. He said it was very good and his plate was clean. I would definitely recommend. See you next week!

Good pizza, but not high on my list of favorites. They were a bit too heavy on the sauce for my liking. Service was INSANELY long. I placed a to-go order with a 30 minute quote and then got a text that it would be an hour wait. Showed up for pickup an hour later, and still had to wait ten to fifteen minutes to be attended to. Definitely not worth the hype, it's too busy and there are SO many other better places in the area to waste the time inside a tiny, hot, crowded place.

First time customer. Atmosphere was amazing and upbeat. Lots of outdoor and fresh air tables. Went for lunch today and hardly anyone here but food took forever to come out. Spaghetti & meatballs- sauce was very bland and barely warm. Meatballs okay. Pepperoni pinwheels amazing. Got food in pieces one dish at a time. Bread came later. Not sure about the hold up. A lot of $$ invested in this place and hope it can stand up to the service. Was hoping I could start to come on my lunch break but 2 hours to get food is too slow.

Placed online order at 4:30 fora 6:30 pick up, seemed like they should be able to meet that time with a2 hour notice. Well arrived at 6:30 and was told it was just going in oven and it would be 10 minutes, I scoffed a little and said I ordered 2 hours ago and was told they are a little behind. They did offer a beer or coke which was nice, that got them 3 stars instead of 2. Well the 10 min turned into 15 minutes and then into 20 minutes and when the brought me the pizza the server just laid it on the bar and walked away and never said sorry it took longer or kiss my grits, nothing! They charge a convenience fee for $1.50 for allowing online ordering. I will think twice about driving 25 minutes each way for a Pisano's Pizza again!
