Inside the Splintered Wand, Ballard’s New Wizard-Themed Bar | Eater Seattle

"I learned that Piscataqua & Balch is the Splintered Wand’s offshoot wand business and that there’s a whole history and mythology behind the wand-making process they use onsite." - Gabe Guarente

Superb work with talented people! We always get compliments on their work! Our brick walk adds such charm to our home and was placed over 40 years ago . Never hesitate to work with Piscataqua!

One word: phenomenal. Despite my best attempts at mowing, weed whacking, and pruning, my landscaping (or lack thereof) needed a serious makeover. It was overgrown, overrun, and I was overwhelmed. I knew it was time to call in the pros. I called a number of small businesses in the Lakes Region area, but Piscataqua was the only one who responded to me in a timely manner and showed up when they said they would. The day they came to do the work, I think I cried tears of joy. Chris was incredible. He was attentive to me, gave me ideas, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work before leaving. All of that goes a long way in my book. Needless to say, I won't call anyone else.

I have been a long-term customer of Piscataqua and have been very pleased with response and professional team members that have serviced my property. Whenever issues come up, I have always been able to get them addressed quickly by the team at Piscataqua. I have used the team for a variety of projects as well as general property management services and always been very pleased. The team does professional work, is responsive and offers complete menu of capability.

This company is as good as it gets. The manager Chris gave us a very reasonable estimate and was in touch with us throughout the project. His workers Rory and head man Matt did a superior job and even climbed back into the tree when noticing one more limb to trim. Very nice guys and knew what they were doing. Use this company. BTW, I give honest reviews on everything and if there are problems, I post them to alert customer coming behind me. No such issues with this company.

I do not privately hire this company. But they do the parking lot and grass at my work. I just wanted to say they do an amazing job. And today I didn't know I dropped my wallet on my way into work and they brought it in. I am so greatful to this amazing crew who keeps our area so nice, and that they are excellent humans. Thank you all for all you do!

We contacted Piscataqua Landscaping for help with purchasing and planting several mature trees for our property. Our experience from the beginning to the completion of the project was fantastic. Jay was extremely helpful with selecting the specific trees that were a good fit for our property and he was quick to respond with a detailed quote. On the day of installation the crew was quick, professional and friendly. They also left our property in very good condition. We are extremely happy with the outcome of the project and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Piscataqua did a fantastic job on our property in Gilmanton NH. They installed a large patio, walkway, raised stone planting beds, fruit trees and other landscaping. They are truly experts in what they do and focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Jay, Mike, Carlos and team are great people and hard workers. They also took the time to educate us on care and maintenance of the 20 fruit trees we planted. We are very happy and will definitely use them again.

Yelp
We had a lot of old shrubs dug out, new loam put in and new plants installed, and bark on top of the loam. It looked nice initially last Fall. It came with a 1 year guarantee on the plants. Several didn't survive the Winter. We wanted the dead shrubs replaced and also wanted to set up monthly or biweekly maintenance of the landscaping with them. I sent many web forms through their web page, called and spoke to people at their office, etc. Finally Ryan came to look at the landscaping. He promised by the end of the week to get back to us with a resolution and proposal for pricing for maintenance. Nothing since then to my email, so I called the office, sent texts to his phone, called his phone, etc. I did manage to get hold of him once and he said he'd sent the estimate by email so I replied that I never got it, and asked if he could just tell me what it would cost, or mail the estimate, or send it again, or as a text attachment. Nothing, and now I can't even get through to him. I have called their main office and had several promises that they or he would be in touch. Well it's been 5 months (and several more calls and texts by me) and I've heard absolutely nothing at all.

Yelp
Ever since these guys moved into my neighborhood on Dutile and 106, they are constantly waking me up before 7am (the end of quiet hours in Belmont) with their backup beepers, and hammering metal in their yard. They've claimed before that it was the garbage, or that it was for plowing, although I've known that wasn't the case when they've made those claims. Today is Saturday in June, so no garbage or plowing, and they woke me up at 6am on the dot for at least the 50th time with beeping and hammering. I never once had any problems with the previous company that occupied this space EVER disturbing my peace because they were considerate neighbors unlike these guys. I've dealt with this bs for over two years now, and since yall won't just mind the town's quiet hours and be better neighbors, this is what I'm resorting to. I've got a whole folder of videos with proof, which I'm happy to make into a little bad neighbor compilation too once I haven't been so rudely awaken at such a rude hour if yall want to try to deny what you know you've been doing. Maybe attempt to be good neighbors, mind the quiet hours, and don't wake me up with your clearly pointless loud noises before 7am for 3 months, and I might take this down.

Yelp
You will need your earplugs whenever they show up and they will spend an inordinate amount of time with 2 or 3 obnoxiously loud leaf blowers getting a leaf out of the bush or a grass clipping off of the driveway. They will disturb the peace and quiet and chase the birds away. The neighbors will complain. They could do better by purchasing electric leaf blowers and using them in the fall for collecting leaves. There's not really a need for leaf blowers in the spring.

Yelp
Your driver salting the fox run mall was great to turn up the salter all the way so he basted the cars traveling in the Opposite direction so he only had to make one pass Great customer service!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Piscataqua Landscaping & Tree Service has been improving and maintaining our property since we moved from Rhode Island to Rye, New Hampshire in 2017. From lawn maintenance to extensive new arborvitae plantings to flower arrangement plantings of annuals and perennials to large tree removals to hard landscaping installations to landscaping reconfigurations to snow removal & more! They do it well. They do it professionally. They do it respectfully. They do it with the humble understanding that they are there to serve the needs of the customer. They complete the circle of the corporate and personal responsibility to their customers. I provide this unqualified recommendation to engage their services.

Yelp
There's none better than Piscataqua Landscaping to get things done the right way. Just connect with the right people and you're all set. Look carefully and you'll find them there. Chris Kemp is my go-to guy for all services. David Bailey loves what he does and it shows all over my property. I am a happy customer.

Yelp
Terrible service. If you're not a big account, you simply don't matter... They've been mowing & "maintaining" our association for 2 years. They won't get a 3rd year! We've had several different account managers with the promise of improved service, but as soon as the season starts, they vanish! The association has several large projects we'd like to do, but need estimates first (we're a small 4 unit association), 2 years later and several walks around the property explaining what we'd like and STILL nothing... we only hear from them when it's billing time. I've emailed, called and text all with the same result... crickets. STAY AWAY!
