I ate at Legal seafood a few days after having this and honestly should’ve came back here it was much better and much cheaper. This seafood was some of the best I’ve had. Will be back!!

I went there to buy a pair of snappers. They seemed to be fresh. Since my first time buying snappers for grilling I have no idea to tell the freshness. The place is bit slow. I believe due to the volume. This place serves cooked sea food too. I saw calamari, shrimp, haddock, scallops. I didn't bought any food items. But seems to be locals enjoy the food. They clean the fish with request. And you can choose. A lady who wanted to buy sword fish ended up buying another saying it was not fresh. I have no clue to check. I believe it's an okay place to buy seafood around the area.

The fisherman and captain platter,, was very good lots if everything good amount but those French fries are terrible soggy there was no taste can tell they were frozen u need change them we order 3 plates and all the fries went in trash we will be back but I'll order with out fries good price and in an out ...

The woman, that's the owner, conveniently "forgot" to give my friend the 2 bluefish that we paid $50 for on top of the fisherman's platter that we bought totaling $80. She initially tried to give us the fish with the red eyes, and even chastised a worker for bringing out 2 good fishes for us because she was trying to get rid of the a bad one by giving it to us and trying toplay us, which she ultimately did. She handed the fisherman's platter, added $2 extra for one extra tartar sauce and hurried us out. This is Saturday, and Pieces is closed on Sunday so do I get 2 fresh fish on Monday or the same 2 from Saturday. I still have my ticket and receipt so I will be back with an update on Monday. Hopefully Pices makes this right.

Pisces Fish Market.....is the place to go for a good fish or seafood dinner. Or just a fish sandwich, you could never go wrong. If there is a line it's quick to move so you won't be waiting long. There is always a choice of how you would like your fish cleaned or cut. The price is Reasonable. The market has a lot of business Monday through Saturday and Fridays are the busiest day close Sunday. Check them out if you haven't heard of them. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.

I like to come here to get my snapper fish. The staff is nice and they have a decent selection to choose from. They also clean up the fish pretty nicely which is very convenient.

Expensive but the food and service is good, especially since there isn't many places left to get seafood platters/plates/sandwiches. Vaughns closed Morse fish closed Star fish has new owners

Food is great... customer poor...bought food plus two drinks they call your number when the order is ready. You have to give them your receipt back. They forgot to give me my drinks and proceed to ask for the receipt when I ask for them. I didn't leave the store at all.

Good fresh seafood just watch out for price gouging! They understand money and never English or exactly what you're asking them!

I'm a Southern Girl that lovesssssss a good fish sammich. So after chatting with my Nana she asked if I had ever tried Pisces. I informed her I hadn't and she said I should try their fish sandwich. Now I don't recall what fish they use even though I want to say it was Pollock. But babyyy when I tell youuuuuu ... it did not disappoint!! The fish was cooked perfectly, and they also gave a very decent sized filet. Not to mention on a very soft warm bun. Only thing I didn't like was the packaged tartar sauce, but you could easily fix that by walking over to Simcos and getting the GOOD STUFF!

I went to the place on American Legion highway in Roslindale. I like their fisherman's platter. They have good fried clam boxes too. This is a very popular place. It's worth the wait.

Their prices are fair but they have 0 customer service. All the seafood I've purchased from there has been fresh and never spoiled. I have tried their fried seafood and it is ok but has no seasoning. Their fish sandwich is a joke, dry thin fish on big dry Bulkie roll. Yuck. Tartar sauce was in like packets and they were skimp no matter how many you asked for. If you're making seafood and forgot the seasoning, fish fry etc they usually have some in store as well .

Im a pisces myself and im a little Biased I love this place I have been going for years clam-strip and shrimp platter is a must.

Fresh fish, daily catches and amazing fish sandwiches that are crispy and savory. Lines can get long but they move pretty fast.

BOGUS! I went in to get some lunch. I left there feeling cheated. I ordered a small order ($6.99 +tax) of chicken wings to go.(chicken wings were okay, no seasoning) When I got home and opened my package, I was disappointed big time. The sign said "small wings w/fries, 6 wings". What it should have read was "3 wings". Yeah, 3 whole wings broken into 6 pieces. Seriously? I find it insulting. Coming into the community and selling a half-assed product to a particular clientele. Star Fish market in Egleston Square does the same thing with their fish sandwiches. They slice a fish filet into 2 halves and sell 1/2 as a sandwich (xtra breading). In my experience, Asian restaurant owners seem to have a tendency to take advantage of people who happen to be of color. Not cool.

Their fish is generally fresh and good. Their portions are also pretty good. They have both raw seafood, as well as a takeout section.

I recently learned about Pisces Fish and I was very pleased with the order my Mum had me pick up. I tried the Whiting and it was cooked up perfectly. With fries and coleslaw it's a good meal.

The jumbo shrimp & French Fries is what does it for me, made to perfection... Fresh, hot & ready to go can't wait for my next trip!!!

Fresh fish fries or grilled just right. Portions are worth the price. Today I had a fish and chip and I really enjoyed it

Good fresh fish selection & fried seafood platters/ boxes. I go for the fried clams. As of 10/07/11 2 sizes, sm (1/2 lb) $14.50 & lg(1lb) $19.50.

Solid fish dinners and large selection of fresh fish. There are many meals under $10, such as the fish sandwiches, but all their meals are fried. They also do steamed rice and vegetable if you don't want fried sides. Worth checking out if you're a fan of seafood.

It's all about the fish: fresh, raw, fried, steamed, as you like. A jumbo box or platter of huge fried scallops for the price of 3 or 4 in a chi chi restaurant. Ambiance? It's a fish store.

For a knock-out fried fish sandwich, this place has it. It's a working class fish market, with a bare bones interior and customers that know what to do with salmon heads and croakers. Go there for lunch, spend $6, and take it to go. Excellent.

I love this place because it was great fish, to eat and also they have fish to sell and they also clean the fish for you.

i've ordered the fried clams twice. the first time there was a mixure of bellies and strips. tonight, it was mostly strips. i feel ripped off.

Great fish & chips with a variety of fish as a choice option, fresh fish, crabs, lobster tails, jumbo shrimp are all good for the price per lb. Love this seafood market/ restaurant. I was very pleased with the seafood!!.
