Shaw’s Late-Night Fried Chicken Shack Roy Boys Will Close This Month | Eater DC

"The acclaimed Bethesda restaurant helmed by Francesco Ricchi closed on January 29 after 25 years of Tuscan-inspired dishes — caciucco, squid ink tagliolini, Tuscan thin-crust pizza, and housemade fettuccine with wild boar — because Ricchi is retiring." - Tierney Plumb

I had such a fantastic dining experience here! The food was outstanding—fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and beautifully presented. We ordered several dishes, and each one was a delight. The restaurant’s ambiance was also perfect stylish decor, and a welcoming atmosphere. A special shout-out to our waitress, Sorel who made the evening even better. She was incredibly kind, checked on us just the right amount, and even gave very great recommendations. Her attentiveness and warm service truly stood out.

Really good atmosphere - with great decoration and friendly waiter. The food is really yummy, and is good portion. We went in as a group of four, and were happily full after ordering 5 appetizers + 1 dessert. Highly recommend the grilled beef heart, the sauce is amazing and went really well with the meat. Also recommend all the mixtas for the first time to try out different flavors. Would definitely come back!

The DC location is one of my favorite restaurants, so I was SUPER excited for this location to open!! The vibe paralleled the DC location, and the staff was on point. I was super impressed with the quality of staff and how prepared the team was - almost to the point of nervousness....but love that energy. Everyone wanted to go a step above. Our server Sorel was wonderful. We had a couple of food allergies at the table, and she was super attentive to them and went above and beyond to ensure we were safe. The overall food experience was good and almost on par with DC. The portion size of the causa felt a bit smaller than I remembered, but quality and taste were 100% there. The octopus appetizer was a little undercooked (slimy), but the octopus that came with the main course meat platter was perfectly cooked with a nice char. The cocktails were delicious - everyone at the table enjoyed what they got. Main dishes were a good size, and all food was super flavorful. Love and highly recommend!!

Amazing brunch experience! We had the lomo saltado, chufa, pancakes, waffles, and more. Cocktails all around. Everything was amazing and delicious. Service was excellent as well: Alonso was our server and he gave us great advice and prompt, friendly service. Highly recommend!

Our first time here. We were here with friends and I must say I love the restaurant ambiance. Loved the interiors and food was very very tasty. Our server was very helpful and patient, which we truly appreciate. We ordered a bunch of things and all of it tasted very very good. We celebrated a birthday and we were offered a free dessert.

We hit it up finally on a BUSY Friday night and were out on the patio. Next time we'll grab a reservation and check the vibe inside, but seemed fun. Food was amazing. Spicy Tiger Ceviche along with the 3 Pisco Sour taster. I enjoyed them all but the red corn based on is just amazing. Partner had a fish dish that was excellent and I had the steak platter. Wow. The chimichurri was just so fresh. Then Dessert. We went with the cake rolls with coffee ice cream. Ice cream tasted amazing and was super smooth, gelato like. And the cake rolls were just wow, especially the homemade caramel/dulce de leche.

Went here for the prix fixe brunch and enjoyed every second of it. All of the food we tried was phenomenal, drinks were delicious, and service was excellent. Big shout out to our waiter, Edwin, who made our dining experience just that much better. I can’t wait to come back and try more menu items as well as enjoy some of the things I’ve already tried!

I went to Pisco Y Nazca Bethesda on their opening day. I love the one that’s in DC, I’ve always been so happy with their food and service over there. The one in Bethesda, ugh… everything was amazing. Surprise, surprise. Everyone said hello or thank you for coming. It’s a great place to go with friends, family, or partner for date night. The vibe itself was top-tier. I looked around and it seemed like everyone was having a good time. Every time I go to Pisco, I try to order a different plate than what I had the last time. The food and drinks were cooked and prepped to perfection. I definitely will be coming back soon! Shout out to Manuel and Oscar for taking care of our table!
