Review: I Sodi’s Brilliance Lies in Obsession Over Simple Pleasures | Eater NY

"They’ll soon open Pisellino, a small cafe intended to sell cute little tramezzini, a further expansion of the small-time empire Sodi and Williams have been building." - Ryan Sutton

I had high expectations of this restaurant because of the high ratings on The Fork, and it did not disappoint! The carbonara and caciocavallo cheese with truffles were both delicious and satisfying. We used our Yums on the Fork for a discount, and it was applied to our bill without any problems.

Excellent. The food is outstanding here, and that’s a salute to the kitchen — and, service is equally great. We had a Thu evening five course menu with a wine degustation from a local organic winery .. and it was fabulous, for the food and the wine. The menu had a superb starter (antipasti), followed by a local specialty of beans with pasta (try it, it’s lovely!), filled pasta (mamma mia, it was a delight .. just perfect!), pan-sautéed fish (equally great) and a lovely desert of cantuccini (Italian speciality). This was accompanied by wines (Spumante, white and red), lots of smiles and plenty of enthusiastic chatter in the audience as well as superb service from the staff. Couldn’t have been any better, much recommended.

Gem of a place...which we found on YouTube! On a quiet street, we ate inside as weather in April is unpredictable. Cuisine is refined, dishes have wonderful flavours..we ate boar stew, amazing! Tables are beautifully laid and service is attentive

Very good choice of menu and wines. A good piece of meat for 15?! Rare anywhere. Price very fair considering the location. We are picky eaters, but this evening met our expectations of a fine night out completely!

Very bad !!!! 40 EUR focaccia and filetto seems too much, especially because the filetto portion was invisible and inedible . Highly not recommended.
