Pit Stop

So this is a tiny place that was known for burgers. Nothing fancy, but prices were absolutely amazing especially for the Vegas area. We both got a hamburger and fries. They really were super delicious! We’ve eaten at higher end places known for their burgers and this one can stand up next to them without the high prices. Definitely worth stopping in to get a burger. 🍔 😋

These were some of the best burgers that I have had in a very long time. The fry sauce was amazing as well. The staff was very attentive to our table of 8. One of the other customers came over and offered to take a family photo without us even having to ask. So obviously they attract some good people to the business. I can't wait to come back to eat this place. Have nothing but great things to say about this place.

For over 30 years, the Boulder Pit Stop has been serving up some of the best burgers in the Las Vegas area! Their fish and chips are unbelievable with portion sizes “too good to be true“ I highly recommend their in-house sauce, and quite frankly anything you get off their menu is well worth it. They’ve had over three decades to perfect their menu… It goes without saying that they survived the pandemic and didn’t skip a beat and serving up amazing food. If you are planning a trip to see the Hoover dam, add this restaurant to your itinerary! Or just venture over to Boulder city, and take advantage of a menu from which there is nothing questionable or less than a five star quality and flavor!

We have never been disappointed coming here. The food is delicious and the service is always great. My favorite is the BBQ bacon cheeseburger. The buns are always so fresh and delicious. The onion rings are awesome and we love their fry sauce and the seasoning. It’s on the table so don’t miss it and definitely try it on your fries. The shakes are delicious too. The place is small so you might have to wait, but they have a drive through too. Enjoy!

I worship this restaurant. What gets me through my week is merely the possibility of the spare time to stop here and snarf down a hot turkey stack. Every special occasion I can think of, preferably after I get done with a long day of outdoor activities, I arrive to this restaurant, starving, and am always pleasantly greeted before finding a seat at this humble place of beauty. Each time I come, someone very sweet takes my order which is usually a hot turkey stack and some fries. It takes about ten minutes for the food to reach the table, presumably while they infuse love and goodness into the food. The food itself is tremendous, the hot turkey stack I always get is sauced well on sourdough bread toasted perfectly, and the turkey they use is high quality and thick cut. The sandwich comes out buttery, crisp, and a bit dry, which makes it perfect for the incredible housemade fry sauce they have, which I always inhale at the behest of my reputation to my girlfriend as a genuine sauce fiend. The fries are thin cut and nostalgic, deserving of their own gold medal. The grilled cheese with havarti they have is also incredible, and only like 5 bucks. Everything is priced cheap and worth beyond every penny. Every time I go to this place I have genuinely one of the best meal experiences of my life. Everyone who works here is an angel doing life changing things. This is my favorite restaurant ever.

Absolutely try it! Great food for a good price. Close to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Everything hit the spot. Salads, burgers, and hot pastrami with ice teas were all excellent. Our drinks were always full. Definitely will return.

I love Pit Stop. It's a nice drive from Vegas but not too far. The food is soon good and it's a great atmosphere. Perfect for going with the family, alone, picking up to go lunch, or a date.

Anytime I am traveling through Las Vegas I purposely make a stop out in Boulder City to eat here. The burgers are excellent. The fish and chips are excellent. The milkshakes are perfect especially in the summertime. The service is top notch. I will definitely be back for more!

Honestly, I was quite shocked that everything went so smooth & the fact they had anything on the menu that I could eat. Love the old 1950's diner feel. Veggie burger exceeded my expectations! I can't tell if they make it or it's frozen & it doesn't matter because it was delicious. I added mushrooms, jalapeños, fresh avocado, & of course mustard & ketchup. French Fries were also incredible! They were thin & tasty! & the Soda Fountain had a great amount of carbonation! & lastly, the service was fantastic. So friendly, polite, & kind. It was a beautiful last minute lunch my partner & I were able to enjoy. Appreciate you all!

This was the perfect "pit stop" after touring Hoover Dam. To keep with the theme, I ordered the Dam Burger. When I saw the soft buns on the burger, I knew it was going to be good and I was not disappointed. I ate the entire burger! The zucchini fries were good as well. Way better than I imagine the taste would be. If I ever travel this area again, I will definitely make this pit stop...see what I did there!

When I first moved to Boulder City I came here a lot but last year I sat and didn't even get a server to order a drink after 20 mins so ended up walking out. I gave it another try today and waited 15 without someone coming over to take our orders and get a drink. They have 4 servers and 8 tables with 2-3 people each. I've been a server before so I know the job but come on. It's not exactly slammed and it's a step up from fast food so 15-20 mins to get a drink and order is a joke.

I went there today, Sunday, about noon. I think I beat the lunch crowd as there was plenty of open seating. The place is clear and the service was quick and courteous. I specifically went there to try their fish and chips, and they were pretty good! The batter to fish ratio wasn't too bad, the coating was crisp and the fish was moist and flaky. Upon request I got lemons and malt vinegar and it came with a generous amount of perfectly cooked fries. Their burgers are supposed to be good and I'll probably try them soon.

They got good burgers. Not the best. I would recommend them. The Pit Burger with onion rings.

What an experience!! Rylyn was so nice and the food was perfect. The fries were the best I've ever had! The Double Dam Burger was to die for and the cookies & cream cheese cake was out of this world. We will be back!!!!!!

We have lived in BC a long time, but only recently started going here. Our loss! The burgers are great as is the grilled cheese!

I've been driving past this restaurant for years. While running errands in Boulder City yesterday, I decided to place an order for lunch. The curbside pickup was simple and easy to use. I made an online order for fish and chips. The online ordering page is confusing, and somehow I ended up with a side salad instead of chips. The pieces of fish were small and disappointing. They give you a tiny container of cole slaw... I ended up paying just under $20 for three mediocre pieces of fish, a small salad and three bites of cole slaw. I really wanted to have a good experience with this restaurant because I live close to it and it'd be nice to have a good restaurant I can depend on. Unfortunately, I spent almost $20 on tiny pieces of fish and pathetic sides. I'm scared to order any more food from here. There are plenty of places to eat in Boulder City where $20 will go a lot further. It makes me sad to have to leave a bad review for a local restaurant, but it is what it is. Boulder Pit Stop was extremely disappointing.

The food was amazing. Jessie was welcoming and kind at providing the service. We ran into this place randomly on our way back from Hover Dam. It has a nice casual local vibe. The food quality far exceeds our usual burger shops. We had shake shack last night and it became a direct comparison that pit stop won us far beyond expectation. Local vs chain, I believe in local family style places more and more.

This place is exactly at its titled a pit stop! Great place to grab some e good ole American food headed to the lake or bank from, after checking out all the great local shops, passing through or just because it's good. It has a great outdoor patio that is generously misted to bring a hot desert day down to a comfortable outdoor temp to provide extra eating space. They also have a drive thru if you're on the go! The wait staff was friendly & our food was ordered and broke for out quickly & hot. The seasoned shoe strings fries are a definite favorite, I could easily fill up just eating them. The pastrami sandwich, fresh, juicy & piled on & the Mac & cheese bites are quite tasty. We had 5 different entrees in our group & everyone left smiling. Good stuff!

My husband recommended we stop here over the weekend after the Art in the Park for lunch. So glad we did. The food was delicious and the service was great. The pit stop is kind of small inside, but feels warm and homey. Our waitress was super attentive and very nice. From what I hear it's a locals favorite. Glad I had a chance to try it out. I had the Philly Cheese steak which was very tender with Caramelized onions on sourdough. The bread was super soft and fresh. Added a side of fries. My fries were fresh, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. You have to try their fry seasoning it's really good. If your in Boulder City try this place out. You won't be disappointed.

This place always hits the spot. It gives small diner vibes. Food is very reasonably priced. For a party of 5 it was $65 which is very affordable with how prices have gone up everywhere. The service was amazing. I called ahead and was seated with in a few mins even with the place packed. I usually get the Phillycheese but decided to try the fish sandwich this time and it was good. The waitresses are all very nice. Quick service with the food as well. I highly recommend this place if you're in Boulder City.

Best Dam burgers, fried mushrooms, chicken sandwiches in BC. Excellent service too ! Best fry sauce, friendly people and excellent chili.

If you don't stop by and try the food, you're missing out!!! Always great , great food, the staff is excellent. Try the fish and chips, blt, heck Everything is great in here. They also have ice glasses to go with your beer. Highly recommend this place been coming for five years.

I love Fish n Chips, but we came here for the DAM Burger lol. This place is awesome with so many menu choices. Fish burger was delicious. Only problem I had is that, I do not like or eat cheese on my fish. So, I ask them not to put cheese on it. Other than that, the burger was still good with french fries and all. WOnderful looking place inside. We will be back.

Came here for the first time and omg I can't wait to go back! It was DELICIOUS service was great, prices are great it's just overall a great experience!!!!

It doesn't look like much from the outside, just one of several suites in a small building. But, the food is quite tasty. The Mrs & I both ordered the combo dinners of fried cod & shrimp with fries & coleslaw. Their dipping sauces are great. But, I'm not a fan of the coleslaw. In my opinion, it's too dry. However, we enjoyed the shrimp! The interior pics of sports teams & players are pretty neat. I was mentally playing a game to see how many I could name. Service was fast, friendly & attentive. It wasn't noisy while we ate & we enjoyed our meal. I'm sure we'll be back.

Food was good burger was nothing out of this world but good. Prices were nice definitely better than something more in town. But man CLEANLINESS, it was disgusting watching as these servers scratched their legs arms then touch food, grab cash and then again serve food. This is the price you have to pay when eating at more local owned spots. I can't imagine what the kitchen is like. Kids with AirPods in their ear I sound like a boomer but there's a reason why things like that should not be allowed. Kids are running this restaurant and I think that's So cool but there needs to be someone in charge. I was brought here because I've heard great things but this gave a terrible impression and although this business is thriving I'm sure you've lost a lot of people due to this because of your open kitchen concept. give them a hand washing sink.

We haven't been here in years and the food was just as delicious as the first time! My husband ordered the fish and chips and he is super picky. He said it was the best! I got the patty melt and I really liked it! We definitely will be back! Service was great too!

Service was great. Friendly, clean place. Great location. 4 stars cause my fish and chips were RUBBER. Could barely cut through with a fork. I ate a few bites and left it on the plate. No one asked me if there was something wrong. I understand it happens. The kids burger wasn't anything special, just a frozen processed patty. If we try it again I will update.

I have been coming to pit stop for years. They will always be my go-to in Boulder. The staff is so friendly and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The prices are great and food is always good. I also love how they have the drive thru takeout option now.

Just had the most amazing fish and chips. I'd never been there before but will definitely be back. Great service and amazing food!

The place was packed on a Saturday which is always a good sign. They got our large group seated pretty quickly in spite of the crowd. As we sat we continued to watch the crowd gather outside. Obviously this place is popular Even though it was crowded and busy the wait staff was unrushed and friendly. Ryley took the time to answer a few questions about the menu and share her favorites and which items were crowded pleasers. The food didn't disappoint. Our group had hamburgers, club sandwiches, and Philly cheese steaks. All were terrific. We had fries and rings as sides. The beer battered rings were excellent and the fries were hot and crispy. I hate soggy fries and thankfully there are no soggy fries here. One in our group ordered a hot chocolate and we were all jealous of the huge cup brimming with marshmallows and whipped cream. Definitely a place we would go to again.

Theres nothing better than Pit Stop after the lake. They have the best service that is fast and everyone is super nice. I have always had the best experiences here. The food is amazing with great portion sizes and good prices. Honestly the food is amazing no matter what you get. The fry sauce and ranch are top notch. Its a very homey feeling restraunt that has a lot to look at. The place is super nice.

I love this place and go there 'Everytime' I am in town! My fav is their turkey Burger, pairs nicely with a glass of white wine I always take it to go and have lunch at the Elks. *****

Never been treated so poorly by one of your employees. Tristian was at the door when my wife and I arrived at 3:50 , drove up from Henderson to our favorite burger place only to be turned away by Tristian . I said excuse me if you stop serving at four then why are you turning customers away early . She reluctantly sat us down and then like an angry child started cleaning around us making it obvious that she was upset. After a few minutes I ask her to give us our food to go as it was now very uncomfortable to be in the restaurant. I have been a customer to the pit stop since it was on the main road . This will change my mind about returning especially if this is the new way customers will be treated. I have run a business in Henderson for 41 years and my employees never make a client feel unwanted or uncomfortable even if we needed to stay at work a few minutes longer. I sure I am not the first customer that Tristian has offended , the older long term employees that you have hired would not have treated us in such away.

I don't get all the 5 star reviews. I'd previously seen a ton of positive reviews and figured if we were ever near Boulder City we'd stop by. We were headed home from Laughlin, which made it convenient to detour only slightly, and all I can say is thank goodness we didn't make a huge effort to come here. The burgers aren't bad, but they are far from being memorable or worth going out of our way for. Definitely won't be making this detour again.

The best fish and chips! All of their menu items are freshly made, and hot when you pick them up. Not really a fan of their fries, prefer thicker fries, but their fry sauce makes up for the skinny fries.

We found Pit Stop here on Yelp and it was a very good choice. We split a club sandwich and fried zucchini and both were very good. The sandwich was jam packed with meat.

Great little lunch place Kids loved it here and so did we. It's in a convenient spot, right off the main straight in Boulder, food is good, service is quick, family friendly, and there's a few tables outside (the day I went was super cold). I am happy to have discovered the place (thanks to Yelp) and I will def return there for lunch when I am in the area :)

The best burger and fries for your money. I live in Henderson Nv and it was a nice drive for a great meal on a Sunday afternoon. My only complaint was the shake machine was down that would have been a great topper. Every component on the burger was fresh , the buns were toasted and our waitress was friendly.

I love this place! I wish you guys are in San Diego! Cheap food but really tasty and good quality! I ordered the monster burger which is a whopping 1 lb burger and fries, also ordered fish and chips with deep fried fries and they are all so freaking good! Unfortunately their shake machine was down but I'm not going to take a star out of my review over something like that. The service was amazing, their staff are all very nice. I'll have to come back here next time we're in Vegas!

I'm already trying to figure out my next visit to Boulder City just so I can eat here again.( And I'm not even home yet!) The food was great!! Easily the best burger I've had since coming to Nevada four years ago! The chili fries were nice and crispy. the chili well seasoned.The service was good, the servers are attentive and on point. The place is clean and cozy. We will definitely return when in the area!!

The waitress, Rylynn was good, the place was super busy so must be locally popular. BBQ bacon burger was good, fries were good, fish was over cooked (couldn't even bite into parts of it because it was so over cooked and hard) I will come back and try something different next time

Worth the drive 100%%%%% The food is so amazing! So flavorful, so fresh, and everything is cooked to order!!! The food came out so fast and over server Chris was so nice! We will be back for sure!!

This was such a wonderful experience. It's been about 5 years since the last time we ate here. Back then, things weren't the best, and we decided to eat elsewhere, but lately, other places have been going downhill. So we decided to give what used to be our go-to spots another try. We arrive, and the place is super busy inside. They have both options indoor or outdoor seating. Also, they are pet friendly with their outside seating, so if you bring your pup, you can enjoy a nice meal outside with them. We chose to sit outside and give it a shot. We had a windy day, but honestly, the awning of the building caught most of it, and it was a wonderful time. Now food! Oh my goodness! I was so impressed. We had a group of 6, so everyone ordered something different, and it was just wonderful what we had. I got the epic burger [yes, it's very epic], and it was delicious, especially with the house sauce. We also tried the fish and chips [it was perfect crisp and a lot of fish], fried zucchini [these I could eat all day. The flavor alone and the cut was perfection], macaroni cheese bites [these were good], Chilli dog amd corn dog [amazing and such a great grill flavor], and the kiddo got the kids cheeseburger and chicken tenders [she was in heaven]. Our waitress was amazing, and they do everything via square pos system, so when you're ready to pay its easy and fast. Prices are very good as well! It's better than going to a fast food joint! We have already been back a couple of times since trying it a couple of weekends ago.

Best burger spot in Boulder City. They are everyday burgers but made perfectly. I really enjoy eating here. It's a small spot so it feels up quickly.

We went hiking and stopped here for lunch. The burgers were really good and fresh and the customer service was great. Will definitely stop here again if you're in the vicinity for a really good burger.
