Google
I like the shawarma there although it could be less sour..the turkish coffee smells very good with spices in it. price-wise it was pretty standard for shawarma $13.00 on the higher side of pricing. Good coffee & great place to sit and relax. They have baklavas too which is great! 👍

Google
Great option for something healthy but also tasty at the same time !! I got the kebab platter with lentil rice , house salad and fava salad and it came with a garlic sauce and tzatziki sauce! It was all delicious!

Melissa Adams

Google
Picked up 2 shawarma platters which came with three sides. All the sides were delicious. What was very disappointing was the Shawarma meat. It was chopped very small and it was dry. It felt like leftover meat that was reheated. Didn’t taste like it came fresh off the spit today.

Google
Excellent balance between great, flavorful Mediterranean food and very reasonable prices. Additionally they serve pretty large portions, so I ended having dinner and then saving my ‘Doggie bag’ for next day’s lunch at work, in my case a delicious Shawarma meat platter which I ordered with Baba Ganoush, Hummus and Tabbouleh, with an appetizer of 4 Grape Leaves + Tajine to share with wifey, who also left half of her Kebbab platter for next day! Don’t expect full table service like at a more expensive/fancier restaurant, so even though they’ll take your order and bring it to your table, sodas for instance are served in the can, but who needs glasses with these prices and flavor?!?! In a way, it’s like premium fast food with decent table service. Dessert with small portion Baklawas was ideal in order to try several flavors, I loved the Chocolate, Berry and Pistaccio ones. All in all, an excellent and fulfilling experience, and I got to collect AA’s AAdvantage Dining miles plus a bonus for simply going out for a delicious dinner. Highly recommended!

Google
Freshly prepared food. Always delicious. It was my first time at the actual restaurant. I usually order takeout via Uber eats. I was close to the area and decided to stop in. So happy I did. Freshly prepared food takes a little longer so plan accordingly. Worth the wait.

chico fun

Google
Great flavor, very nice service. Place very clean and comfy.

Google
Just Ordered, through grub hub, it was delivered as soon as it was ready so is not GrubHub fault, two wraps and they were cold to touch. French fries looked like day old fries. Requested diet drinks, received regular drinks. Seems like quality and attention to details is terrible.

Google
100% recommend, clean, the food is amazing. Literally middle east food well done and precise flavors. No doubt one of the best in town.

Yelp
Oh my gosh, this place was extraordinarily wonderful. From the outside it looked like just a storefront but when you walk in, it's really a very comfortable restaurant to come in and eat at. Ordered at the counter and was surprised at the variety of food offered, and the extremely good prices for what they offer. My wife had the falafel and I had a mixed grill of lamb and chicken. The side I chose were baba ghanoush and salad. I have to say that both the lamb and the chicken skewers were cooked wonderfully. The seasoning was just superb and the flavor just burst in my mouth. The baba ghanoush had a nice smoky taste to it and was really enjoyable. So much so that I bought some more to bring home with me. there's a wonderful market there as well where I picked up several items from my house to make my own Mediterranean meals. They have a particularly good selection of Middle Eastern cheese. The desserts looked great but I was full, so I did not try any this trip. I will definitely be back as this was really an exceptional meal with great service in a very comfortable setting.

Yelp
We were looking for a Mediterranean restaurant in the Kendale Lakes area. Chicken kebab was delicious. Lamb kebab meat was overcooked and dry. Waiter didn't care. He and the food prepper with loose hair plated up food and salads and takeout orders while handling the register and dining room customers. Lots of contamination possibilities. Warm vibe and warm temperature felt like AC was perhaps not working.

Elda B.

Yelp
To Pita Grill - I've added special instructions for a diet cola since it was first a diabetic person. Regular soda was included instead. To Grubhub - When the food arrived it was simply cold. I can eat food room temperature but recognize immediately it was cold! This is the first time I've experienced bad service or bad delivery from Pita Grill and Grubhub.

Yelp
Their salad and chicken kebabs are perfect. They use a lemon vinaigrette which is delicious and have a garlic sauce for the meat that you must try. Their tabouli is good too. They are very quick to serve. The royal pudding is fantastic.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place when looking for a healthy place to eat in this area, we walked in and it was completely empty and just one person waiting for their food. It took longer than I wish it would have, and for $120 worth of food I wish they would have speeded up the process. The food overall was great, I liked their chicken kebabs, I ordered 4 chicken kebabs, 4 Beef Kebobs and 2 Lamb Kebobs. We also ordered Greek salad, their rice and lentils, the falaffel appetizers and some drinks. I wish they would have asked how we wanted the beef, it was over cooked for our taste and the lamb tasted rubbery. We also ordered their Desserts Baklawa, both pistachio and walnut... both were dry and a little stale. What really upset me was when they packaged the food and all of the juices and food came out of their packaging, I wish they would find better packaging to suit the type of food they serve. By the time we got home, the food was cold and juices were at the bottom of the bag. Overall the food was not bad, we will give it another try and go in person to eat there. The ambiance was nice and the place seemed cleaned too.

Yelp
Nice little place. The staff is very friendly.we had Lamb chops which were good except that the meat was a little overcooked and the Lamb chops were small. We also had the beef shawarma wrap which was super delicious.

Yelp
One of my favorite Mediterranean places in Miami! My go to is the chicken platter, with lentil rice, house salad and potatoes! Been going here since the old location next to Flannigans and food/service/ambiance has always been awesome.
google avatar

Yelp
Great falafel wrap, good people. Nice ambiance. I love this spot ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Jesus why do I have to write 85 characters? So annoying
google avatar

Natalia O.

Yelp
The lady helping me out over the phone to place my order was pretty rude, so that's that. On top of that, I asked her for sauces and pita (asked if they were included) which she said would be inside the bag for me. When I got home, unfortunately, there was no pita or sauces. The food was decent, 8/10. But the service was very off putting. It's also located in a convenient plaza with a Publix, sushi, and other convenient spots.

Yelp
Pita Grill makes the great kabobs... chicken or lamb.... These are the best. Fresh ingredients, friendly service, lots of people picking up orders (good sign), just stay away from the vegetables side. ALL desserts are great, they have a big variety so you can choose. You will nit be disappointed with this local mediterranean spot!

Eli M.

Yelp
The steak kebabs were very chewy. Super disappointing. Flavor was OK but very hard to chew as if it was perhaps an inferior quality of meat. Hummus was delicious. The tabouli had a little sweetness to it that I did not care for.
google avatar

Jae D.

Yelp
This is still my top 1 greek style food to go to. Nothing tops Pita Grill and trust me! I've been around when it comes to mediterranean cuisine. I sometimes find myself crying because of how much i miss visiting this place. I seriously cannot wait to go back! All of their kabob platters are soo good!!!! Rice is fresh and authentic, cooked perfectly, meat is grilled to perfection (desired temp), from baba ghanoush, side salad, hummus, to pita bread/chips, everything is fresh, great and flavorful! I love the little market and freshly baked (homemade authentic) pastries they sell as well!!! Mine and my daughter's favorite is their (Lebanese style rice pudding) Royal Castle Pudding and chocolate baklava!! SOOO delicious! The pudding is perfectly sweet, always well done and full of flavor! The rose and pistachio really compliment this dessert. Their version of this amazing pudding, is literally TDF! I have never had better chocolate baklava in my life! It's sweet--but surprisingly not the over powering kind--it's perfect. All of their other pastries are just as wonderful, but these are my favs! PLEASE give this spot a go if you're around, I swear you won't regret it! (p.s their homemade hot sauce is the BEST)

Yelp
Been wanting some Mediterranean food for a while and after being let down at another restaurant 2 weeks ago, it took me a while to try a new place. Yelp to the rescue, I looked up at local spots and the reviews totally had me and the yummy pics. SO glad I picked Pita Grill & Market! I ordered the beef and chicken kabob platter and came with 3 sides. I got hummus, pita, and Greek salad. The portion was VERY generous and even had left overs for the next day (was just as good). The protein and everything else was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I ordered takeout and when I went to pick up, the place looked very spacious. The only thing is , it does take quite some time for food to be ready. When I went place looked empty but order took about an hour. Granted, I was starving so an hour seemed too long, especially compared to other locations which I feel average to 30-45 minutes. Overall, amazing place and definitely foresee myself going again very soon!

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. From the food to the ambiance and the overall customer service , It's amazing. The staff are super nice , welcoming and are patient with you. We started off with the Falafel and Warak Inab (grape leave) appetizers and they were super good! Full of flavor and authentic taste. Then I proceeded with the Baba Ganoush wrap, which comes with grilled eggplant , tahini sauce , and vegetables. Super delicious the sauce was to die for and the overall flavor was hitting right. My mom ordered the Lamb wrap which is the Kibbeh wrap and it was so good! Then for dessert we got the Baklawa pistachio which taste so good it's not overly sweet and you get that touch of pistachio. The lady finger was another delicious dessert and the Burma too with the flavor of pistachio again. Overall 10/10 this my go 2 spot fasho!

Yelp
Real good food. Delivery service awesome. Super driver and very respectful. Will highly recommend.

Bria F.

Yelp
Ordered for pick up. Website says the wrap is 8.99, it's actually 9.99. Irritated by price discrepancy I do not tip- she lifts the tip jar up as I'm leaving-rude. Then I go home and take a few bites and let's just say - I've been eating falafel wraps my entire life from everywhere. And this is by far the worst one I've ever had. Not sure why but what they put in the wrap is not what they advertise online. There were carrots inside of it? Never have I had a falafel wrap with carrots and overall the flavor was terrible. Two pieces of lettuce, no tomato and the wrap itself tasted old and dry. I've had hummus from here before and it was good I'm not sure what happened here but I ended up throwing it away I couldn't get past the gross flavor
google avatar

Lennette M.

Yelp
I've been having their chicken wrap and chicken platter for years! Consistently fresh and delicious - their sauces are always fresh too. I don't eat lamb, but I've heard good things from those who have accompanied me. A great option for a healthy/hearty (your choose) meal.
google avatar

Irene M.

Yelp
Picked up some kibbeh, kafta, baba ghanoush & yogurt for take out. Always a 10/10! Regularly eat here & am always satisfied!
google avatar

X M.

Yelp
Always reliable and delicious. Great food, nice variety and decent sized portions (not too little and not too much). We usually do takeout or delivery. Great pita chips!

Elisa M.

Yelp
Have come to this place twice. Once to eat in and once for take out. The food is just OK. No big deal. (And we have had mediterranean food from many places They take FOREVER to help you or to waite on you. Feels like if you are bothering them when you go in to this place. Does not feel very welcoming. As my daughter mentioned "it gives me anxiety. Feels like they don't want us here" Another thing I do not like is that if you pay with credit card they do not give the tip to the employee that waited on you or helped you ( this was said to us on both occasions by an employee) Would not recommend

Yelp
I've been coming to Pita Grill for years, when I learned they were opening again after closing, I was very excited! Living now in Doral, every chance I get, I drive to Kendall to pick up food. We make the trip worth it and buy on average $35-$45 worth of food. Although I know prices have gone up, the quality and quantity is good. However, today, I only got one garlic sauce, when I kindly asked for one more, I was told that it was $.50 cents - and for the 'slightly bigger one' it was $1.00. I don't mind paying, but oftentimes, when they forget to put the sauces I don't complain or call - I just let it go. I'm a loyal customer, and whenever I order, I always get free 2 'regular sized' sauces - this time, I only got 1 and had to pay $1.00 for two tiny additional sauces. It's so disappointing as we try to support local business.

Eros R.

Yelp
I walked in after the gym to see if I could get a high protein meal, I ordered the Ribeye on the menu listed at 20.99 which is a steal for a restaurant ribeye. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. Everyone there was friendly and kind would come back again
google avatar

Ken T.

Yelp
Wonderful food and would highly recommend. I'm a pilot living in South Dakota and when I am here, I usually take some of this delicious food back home for my family. Really good!

Ryan M.

Yelp
Absolutely the best middle eastern food in west Kendall. I like the platters that come with three sides. The combination of various sides and the flame grilled kabobs make for a delicious entree. Their baklava is some of the best around too.
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
I have to say that this place is really delicious. I normally go to Al Basha on Miller St for my middle eastern carvings but I saw the food pictures and wanted to give them a try. The grape leaves on this place are delicious: great size, moist with citric and olive oil and you can taste the nut Meg. The Kibbeh wrap has a great size and it is really delicious as well. A little messy but really good. My bf had the Mixed Kabob plater with Hummus and it tasted really good as well : fresh and comes with a side of pita. I would recommend anyone to go try this place. It won't disappoint.

Keith M.

Yelp
I placed a custom order to feed 10. Of that 10, seven had never really eaten Mediterranean food other than hummus. It was a big hit, everyone really enjoyed it, even the most picky eater of the group! It was nice to introduce new flavors to their palates. Thank you Pita Grill!
google avatar

Elaine F.

Yelp
The absolute best authentic Mediterranean food in all of Miami. Definitely the best hummus you will ever have! They are at a new location on Kendall and 138 ave next to the Publix. So happy!!!! And my kids love it too!!!
google avatar

Luis M.

Yelp
The food is excellent. All of their entrees are cooked well, especially kufta platter and grilled chicken platter. Also I recommend the kibbeh as an appetizer.

Danny S.

Yelp
This place is to die for! Amazing service, the food is exceptional, high quality and just taste so fresh and delicious! The portion size is great for the price and it's possibly the best Mediterranean food I've had in Miami, it is a must try!
google avatar

Janexis R.

Yelp
I thought it was just okay. The chicken tasted a little burnt and it took like 25 min to get our food. The dessert was almost completely frozen too. The staff was nice but they weren't wearing gloves while serving the food.

Alex R.

Yelp
Fantastic food, great service, and good price. Best tabouli salad in South Florida. The grill chicken wrap was very tasty. The hummus is definitely homemade. We will be back.

Manjari H.

Yelp
We went here for a takeout meal. While the guy at the counter, Mo, is very friendly and hospitable towards the customers, they took forever to prepare two wraps! We were told the wraps will take 15 minutes to prepare and even after waiting 45 minutes, they weren't ready! Took almost an hour to prepare only two wraps. We also ordered two servings of Aish El Saraya (Lebanese bread pudding), but mind you, their desserts are all pre-made and refrigerated. So basically, for 'arranging' one falafel wrap and one lamb shwarma (again, the falafels and the grilled meat are usually kept ready beforehand) they took almost an hour! On top of that, the food was absolutely horrible! The falafel was dry, flavorless and crumbly, ditto with the lamb. The rose water/fragrance in the pudding was nauseatingly heavy handed! To the point that we had to throw them away after trying only a couple spoonfuls of one pudding. For close to $30 wasted at this place, we sure learnt the lesson to never return to the Pita Grill and Market! The two stars are for the friendly guy at the counter, probably the only good thing about this place!
google avatar

Abraham D.

Yelp
This place is very busy...BUT super fast!! I love their Falafel Pita, it's fresh ingredients and taste amazing! Also fair price.

Yelp
Been on the hunt for good falafel in the area. Gf and I were in the area and ecoddd to try this place for lunch. Walking in: weird vibe between the difference of either waiting to be seated or going up to the front and ordering. After looking at the menu for a few seconds a waitress asked if we were eating in or taking out. We decided to eat in. Ambiance and seating: not the fanciest decor but the vibes is right with paintings on the wall. Cleanliness is about 8/10. There's about 15 tables for dining in. Staff: looks like one waitress, one cook and one prep working. We came to eat lunch at around 2pm. As of right now, it's been about 20 minutes and all we got so far is pita chips for the table. Place is not packed but it looks like they like to take their time making the food. Let's hope it's worth the wait. Update: we waited for the one cook to prep a take out meal before making our food, that was a bit annoying. Food: after almost a half hour, food came. At least it was hot. Now time to eat. Falafel: very bland, nothing too crazy that's if comeback and get another one. Pita and hummus: dry pita and hummus is also bland in flavor. Skewered chicken: seasoned really well compared to the other food items. French fries: on the better side. Overall: we'd come back for skewers is we ever decide to come back and eat here.

Yelp
Im shocked that I just found out about this place. Ordered the chicken skewer platter and all I can say is wow. The food is so fresh and so delicious!! My new favorite place to eat!!

Yelp
I went to go visit my sis in Cutler Bay and she wanted to get shwarma like we did last time she visited me in North Miami. I searched on Yelp and found this restaurant. I read the reviews and was hesitant to visit cause of the comments on the quality of service but I decided to take a chance. This restaurant is next to Flanigans in a strip mall. The decor is not bad but not great either. They created an exotic feel with tapestries and lamps but it also has a garish tv smack in the middle of the room which kills the exotic vibe. The also have a nice pastry counter with different types of baklava and next to it there's a grill where you can see the servers cooking the meat skewers on the grill. The server came to our table and didn't speak a word of English. In this area of Kendall I'm not super surprised but it really annoyed my sis. We opted for a plate of shwarma each which comes with 3 sides. I like that I'm able to customize my meal. I opted for hummus, baba ganoush and Greek salad as my sides for $12 a plate. When we got the plates we were unenthused by the portions and the appearance of shwarma meat. The meat didn't look nicely browned like I'm used to...it looked gray...like it was steamed. The flavor of the meat was not bad but it tasted like it had Latin food seasoning. The hummus had good flavor and so did the baba ganoush. The Greek salad was small and had iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and feta...it wasn't bad...just not excellent. The pita bread was the worst thing. It's super thin and flavorless. One thing that bothered us is that there were 4 servers, a cashier which I assume was an owner, another man that brought us the coffee...only two other tables with guests and still nobody ever came to check on us. And they we're too busy to give good service. We had to ask them to remove our dirty plates...I even had to get up to ask for the dessert. The man who brought us coffee was even a little argumentative. I was not impressed by this place at all. It could be so much better should they try a little harder. If I should want shwarma again down south I will search for another option. This restaurant was just meh...

Yelp
I'll cut to the chase here, I'm giving Pita Grill 3 stars for a few reasons, but the biggest being customer service, or should I say lack of. When we walked in, no one said a word to us. They saw us, and said NOTHING. Being that it was our first time here, we didn't know how it worked. I asked if we order here or sit down, he told us to sit. (No hello, how are you, welcome, nothing!) We sit down and are handed menus. Ten minutes go by, no one greets us, yet several workers passed us by. Finally, the gentleman that sat us asked if someone has been over, which we reply no. Side note, there were only 2 tables in the restaurant, so not busy at all! He sends over a server and she only speaks Spanish, which neither I or my girlfriend speak. Okay, not a problem, she'll understand me. I order a small hummus appetizer, and 2, TWO, falafel wraps. The hummus came out with pita bread. In my opinion the hummus was good and the bread was alright, nothing spectacular. However, my girlfriend was pissed claiming, "who serves paper with hummus." (She said it was important that I mention that as she is a pita bread connoisseur lol) she felt that the pita bread was extremely thin and tasted like cardboard. Almost ready to get up and leave due to the completely aloof staff and mediocre food, the falafel wrap comes out. A falafel wrap, one falafel wrap. Even if you don't speak English very well, I'm certain that saying two and holding up two fingers is universal! Oh well, it was better that way since my girlfriend hated the pita. We cut the wrap in half and split it. I will say that their falafel was delicious, but I would not drive 12 miles again for this. Our server literally never came back to the table to check if everything was alright, if we needed drinks, etc. after waiting and waiting, I finally get up to ask for a box for the leftover hummus and the check. She gives me the box, no check. I realize I have to go to the front to pay. As I'm paying, which again awful customer service, I notice baklava and decide to order two pieces Togo. They are really small pieces and I'm not sure how much it costs. My total was $17 including tip, so couldn't be too expensive. I will say the baklava was the best part of this experience. Overall, I was completely disappointed with the service and as I said the food is okay, nothing that I would crave and have to come back for! I didn't even really take pictures because I was pretty frustrated. Sadly, not an enjoyable visit, and definitely not a good first impression.

Yelp
I had a craving for some authentic Tabouleh salad, so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered from here through Ubereats and was surprised to see how extensive their menu is! I settled on a medium size Tabouleh salad, and one order of Kibbeh. Lucky me, they were offering free delivery today too! My order arrived very quickly and the food had a nice presentation. It was fresh and well packed. The Tabouleh salad was delicious! I wanted something light and fresh and this so hit the spot. The medium also consisted of a generous amount, definitely could have gone with the small, but no worries, I have more for tomorrow! As for the Kibbeh, it was nicely seasoned, and crisp. Not oily at all. It was very yummy. I really enjoyed my meal from here and definitely plan to order again, and visit once things return to normal! Their prices are great, and are most definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Did I just run into the BEST Mediterranean food ever!!! Located in a shopping mall with plenty of parking, this restaurant is hidden in a corner. Upon walking in, the location gives you a feel of a fast food takeout. I suggest you sit down and experience a world of flavors. I ordered the Beef shawarma platter with 3 sides so I added the Hummus, Baba ganoush and angel hair rice as well as a pea soup and Warak Inab( stuffed grape leaves) I started with the pea soup and what a delightful taste with chunks of peas, then the grape leaves and that's when the explosions of taste started. EVERYTHING soooo tasteful and fresh. This location will be my Number 1 pick now!!!

Yelp
First time here... Wasn't impressed... First off place was empty during lunch time (12). Should have been my first warning. Second the shawerma cooker look like it had been stilling there for a day or more (reference picture). Third, they microwaved my food (Shawerma wrap). Spoke with what I believe was the owners son, he admitted to it being microwaved. On a positive note, the contents of the wrap (minus the meat) was very tasty. Microwaving food makes it chewy!! With all the nice grills they shouldn't have to use a microwave!! The restaurant was clean. I'm sure the messy area was the microwave. With other Mediterranean places within the area, I will not be coming back here.

Yelp
Hands down they have amazing food and even better service! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend them

Ezy Medical R.

Yelp
Came today on July 4 for the first time. It is a family owned restaurant and absolutely amazing. The staff is sweet and caring. Even though they were closing they served us and exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious. Very generous portions and AMAZING FLAVOR!! I would recommend to anyone if you love Mediterranean food. Will be come back soon.

Yelp
I'm always on the lookout for good Mediterranean food. I have seen this place but never been in it. Well today I had the opportunity to have lunch there. I must say that I was not disappointed, they have pretty much the staple of Mediterranean food. They offer Kibbe Platter, Falafel Platter, and all kinds of salads. The place is clean and spacious, and it also has a mini market in the back where you can buy all kinds of middle eastern fares. I also got to meet the owner who is a very friendly person. Now for the food, I had the Falafel Platter and I must say it has been the best I've had in a while. Everything was extremely fresh and prepared to order. The falafels were cooked in front of me, this was kind of surprising since most places just nuke them for you. Anyways the food was delicious and the prices are extremely competitive. So next time you are on your way to Flannigans stop here instead. You won't be disappointed.

Dominique P.

Yelp
This place was DELICIOUS. The portions were more than generous, and everything was fresh. We each had a different platter, which I think is the way to go because of the 3 sides. We ordered the beef, chicken and falafel. All were seasoned and cooked well. Nothing was dry, stiff or cold. Definitely recommend. Also it seems to be a family owned business, which I think is important to support when possible.

Yelp
"Now, gimme a word, any word, and I'll show you how the root of that word is Greek" This Mediterranean restaurant is a hidden gem in Kendall. Also, there is a small grocery store in the back of it. Great grilled chicken with Greek salad and angel hair rice. Pita chips made fresh. Service is very busy with delivery and pickup so if you dine in it may take some time to get service.
google avatar

Faith G.

Yelp
I was disappointed with the flavor/seasoning of the chicken shawarma wrap. It didn't taste authentic and felt thrown together. There's tasteful decor and furniture, and lots of outside light so it feels spacious.
google avatar

Yelp
Been coming here for years, its an order and pay at the counter kind of place with the food always being consistente and yummy. And for delivery they use knock knock, food was just as delicious and delivered fast!

Yelp
This is an amazing place and real authentic food. The service is top of the line. Must try for family or even on a date night.

Yelp
Food was made fresh, just visited here and had two different options. Price is reasonable for quality of food. Had the lamb skewer with 3 sides as well as another platter. Located in the plaza where the Ruson and Publix are at.
