If I could give 0 star I would! I have ordered from this place several times but every single time I ordered on uber eats they will scam you by putting a tablespoon worth of meat. Even the uber eats customer service agreed with me. Do not waste your money or even your time trying to explain to their cook that this is not ok because she will tell you that because of the price they reduced the meat to under regular portions even though I ordered double. I can’t even imagine someone ordering regular! They literally garnish the pita of salad to make it seems like it’s meat when it’s NOT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I don’t take time to take review but when I do it’s clearly because I had an extremely bad experience!

Google
Fantastic experience! The food is delicious, portions are generous, and the customer service is top-notch with a smile. This was my first visit, and I had no idea the owner was taking my order until afterward—he took the time to explain everything and made great recommendations, like the hot sauce for my seafood pita (shrimp) and salad. The portion sizes and even the cup size were impressive. I could tell the owner and his team take pride in both the service and food. Even though I wasn’t having the best day, the amazing meal turned it around. The restaurant is also spotless, which is always a huge plus. Five stars across the board! Thank you !

Google
Interesting twist on Greek food. Street food that I have tried (Mexican or Greek) appears to be simpler and less sophisticated than the usual main stay fair. We had falafel, shawarma and gyro beef pita. All dishes were good but the shawarma was a little disappointing. It will take the “street food” lover to truly appreciate the dishes. Service and atmosphere were nice. Plenty of parking.

Google
So i just ordered 3 mini pita w/ falafel . Tell me why they literally put 1 falafel on each pita . I recently went to the location in peach street corners and got their daily special and it came with 2 falafel in the mini pita . I feel cheated cause this came to $17 dollars . Of course I had to break it up and spread it thin but this is unacceptable. Won’t be returning to this location.

I was supposed to pick my order Today by 2:15 pm but i showed up at 5:15 pm, Alex and his team replaced my food with fresh food plus giving me the order that I was supposed to picked it up at 2:15pm.amazing service and great quality food!

Google
The food here is pretty solid, and that’s speaking from the perspective of someone who didn’t even have it super fresh. I got PITA delivered. My main complaint was the way the gyro was wrapped. It was wrapped with just a tiny piece of foil at the bottom, and 75% of it was completely loose. That looks nice from a photo standpoint, but it’s extremely impractical to actually eat. Good luck picking this thing up without a total disaster of a mess haha. That said, I thought the food was worth the price, and would highly recommend getting the Greek fries over standard fries. Way better.

Google
Omg, the customer service was 💯 everything that I needed today!! The food was fresh and hot! The SAUCES👉👉👉👉 was fantastic! The white SAUCES: Tzik and Creamy are pretty mild in flavor which puts me in the mind like a sour cream and or a mayo-ish sour cream taste. The other white, kinda thick sauce was GARLIC! This one, hands down, was and still is my favorite sauce beside the red one you will see below! The red sauce is kinda spicy but not too much. The orange sauce has the taste of the white sauce mixed with red one. Anyways, enough about the SAUCES. Everything was very clean and organized. Pita M has drink refills. There are handicapped ♿️ accessible restrooms as well. They have booster seats for the little ones! Spacious enough to stretch your legs and spread out! They always have a side or meal deal Top notch fresh food! Vegan options are available just ask before meal preparation! So if yall decided to trek on over to this side of town to eat, that would make for an excellent choice! Health dept score 97-100!! Happy chow down! 5 star visit today! Thanks PM!

Google
RACIALLY PROFILED. 0/10z I’ve been a regular at this Pita Mediterranean restaurant for quite some time, but after my experience today, I am deeply disappointed and will not be returning. I called in to place a simple to-go order, which I’ve done many times before. I spoke with the owner, Alex, and asked for the Gyro fries with my happy hour special. Initially, he told me I couldn’t order them, but when I offered to pay an additional $1.85, he agreed. I thought everything was settled. However, when I arrived to pick up my food, I experienced something that left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. As I sat in my car eating, the owner, Alex, rushed out to his Toyota parked next to my Mercedes. He quickly grabbed money from his glove compartment while I was sitting there, and the entire interaction felt tense and inappropriate. His behavior, particularly the way he seemed to be rushing and looking at me with suspicion, created a highly uncomfortable atmosphere. As an African-American woman, this encounter was especially disheartening. I’ve supported this business by spending my hard-earned money, but this situation made me feel like my presence was not valued, solely based on the color of my skin. It’s important to spend money within your community, but experiences like this remind us that not all businesses treat their customers with the respect they deserve. Racial bias, whether intentional or not, still exists, and it’s a reality many of us face. I’ve always believed in supporting local businesses, but it’s equally important that businesses show respect to all of their customers. Sadly, I can no longer support this establishment. One star.

Yelp
Stopped here in the Emory village. Came in and was promptly greeted and handed a menu. I got the grilled chicken pita that came with rice. I enjoyed my meal the flavor of the chicken and the soft yummy pita. I liked the rice as well - was t bad but could have had a little more flavor. Only thing I would say - the dining area needed to be swept. There was food on the floor and a few tables were not clean. But the servers were observed washing their hands and had on gloves and hair nets.

Nicola L.

Yelp
I love this spot. Order from the kiosk, prices are great. Food comes out pretty quick. Fresh, and not skimping on the meat. Has more of a diner feel. Will definitely go back.

Pooja S.

Yelp
Stopped by PITA for a quick dinner and it was great! On a Wednesday at 6 PM, the place was completely empty and we got served very quickly. The workers there are extremely nice, and explained what everything comes with when asked. The food itself also tastes great! I am a huge fan of their Greek fries and sometimes just get it as a stand alone dish. The chicken shawarma sandwich was also great. It may not be the most high quality Mediterranean food but it's tasty and a nice place so I'd definitely be back!

Yelp
Very disappointed in my meal today at the Augusta location. It was very salty and I couldn't figure out why. They topped it with salty tahini sauce and not Taziki sauce. It was topped with horseradish even though it wasn't advertised on the menu. I am unsure if they were missing some ingredients so they replaced them with horseradish and tahini however I won't be returning anytime soon.

Yelp
Quick little spot to get a bite to eat. Vibe is chill. The staff is really nice and helpful. I got the fries and chicken gyro. I thought this would be gluten free pita, but it was some sort of tortilla. I would stop back and try the salads.

Zakir H.

Yelp
Good food humble staff nice ambiance, enjoyed my time. Menu is limited. Wish it could be customized so a meal can multiple meat.

Nshn A.

Yelp
They gave me day old fry's and heated it up they were so hard to bite through. The bread was soggy for the Philly cheesesteak with gyro I ordered and not packaged properly. I would not eat here again.

Gerry B.

Yelp
Gave it another try this week. Much improved service and food. Good spot for your gyro fix.

Dylan N.

Yelp
Very good so far, not to expensive and the meal size is adequate. Steak bowl has been very good when I've gotten it. Staff is very friendly but marketably is not superb. It's hard to tell what you are getting when you order as there aren't descriptions on the menus, but you can always just ask. Very good grub.

Daniela G.

Yelp
The pita bread is sooooo good. It is warm and you can use it to scoop your food like when you scoop a chipotle bowl with chips. Speaking of chipotle it's kinda similar in the sense that you can customize your ingredients. Great location- it's by the nail salon I always go to and there are many parking spaces. The parking lot is dangerous though, my mom has gotten in 3 car crashes here and so is the one across the street. The poles are hard to see they cause dents- very bad

Sharon M.

Yelp
I've been to this location a number of times and have always found the staff friendly. I love the variety of the menu. Falafel, shawarma, gyro. I've enjoyed everything I've tried. I'm usually the only person inside. I can see from the reviews they do a great deal of delivery. Maybe things don't translate well via delivery service. I. Certainly rate them higher than so many of these reviews. I'm a fan and hope the location does well.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late lunch, the location is very convenient and the restaurant itself was spotless. I had a Shrimp Pita bowel, it was delicious!!! Plenty of shrimp, fresh lettuce, and toppings with a yummy sauce on top. In fact, the food was so good. I ordered some pitas to bring home for dinner. Service was outstanding. The young man at the register was extremely nice and helpful. I will be a repeat customer. I was so pleasantly surprised how fresh & healthy the food was and all the different variations you can choose from. I'll be back ;)

Itzel L.

Yelp
very very good! Ordered take out twice and I haven't been disappointed. Their grilled chicken platter and mini pitas are delicious!!

Kristy R.

Yelp
Waterbottle came HOT. It was hotter than my food. The gyro was mostly lettuce, and somehow, it was very greasy. I chose this dinner spot in hopes it would be fresh and delicious, plus it was in doordash. I'm super disappointed. Positive note- fries were super crispy, but mostly sauce and feta on top.

Andrew B.

Yelp
Was hungry for something different then the same old. Decided to try this place and I'm glad I did! The pita gyro was excellent, I got it "mixed" (chicken & gyro meat). Instead of regular fry's I opted for the "Greek Fries", basically loaded fried with feta and tahini sauce and chopped parsley. Definitely recommend for a quick, great, and filling meal.

Tanisha M.

Yelp
Customer service is awful!! 17.00 for this two piece of meat the rest in lettuce. I have several times to call . You won't get my money anymore.

LaVera C.

Yelp
Omg! I ordered the steak Swarma!!! This was the best darn pita I ever had in my life! I ordered the Spivey sauce to go with it! I had the Greek fries. They add their own special house sauce with it! Everything tastes so fresh, So yummy and scrumptious! I will be back!!!

Stephanie G.

Yelp
It's an ok Mediterranean fast food place on a budget. We ordered through Uber Eats and I got the kids chicken gyro that comes with a choice of side - I chose hummus and a fountain drink. My husband got the gyro salad. My serving was perfectly sized since I didn't want to eat something too heavy. He enjoyed his salad but said it wasn't that big of a serving.

Sara M.

Yelp
I was in the area, and craving a quick meal. I usually go to blaze right next to it but decided to try this place instead. When I first walked I noticed the place was empty which is a start contrast to its neighbor. Nonetheless, I ordered the falafel bowl and baba gahnoush. The staff was extremely friendly and patient as I didn't know what I wanted to order right away. The restaurant was clean and the food was decent. The baba gahnoush was slightly too acidic and the falafel a bit too moist, and lacked texture but the flavor was the there. Not sure if I'd go back because the value for the quality of food doesn't make sense.

Juanita S.

Yelp
Came for mini pita but it's discontinued per staff however it's advertised on the door.

Hillary B.

Yelp
This spot opened on Friday, so I think they're still in grand opening mode, which makes for fantastic customer service. The staff greets you upon entry and walks around during your meal to see if everything is good or if you need anything. They also have a bunch of specials running since they just opened, which makes for great cheap eats. On food, I ordered the Signature Pita. It was better than alright, but I personally like thicker sliced gyro. I also had the Greek fries, but I wasn't loving all the paprika (to each his own). I would definitely return to try the other gyros and sides because the customer service is next level. I guess this is what they call Southern hospitality! They have free WiFi, which is always appreciated. Ask the staff and they'll provide you with the password. It wasn't working on my laptop, but everyone else was able to access it just fine.

Indigo B.

Yelp
tasteful chicken over rice bowls and extraordinary customer server from Phyo.....and clean and neat seatings

Tauheedah M.

Yelp
I love Pita in Smyrna. I moved to Lithonia and this is the closest location. Went in once and my chicken shawarma was missing all the pickled veggies the Smyrna one gives. Ordered Uber eats and both My Hubby and I sandwiches were just bad. He had a gyro but it didn't have any sauce. I had a shawarma and it seemed old. Our fries were pathetic. We ordered the falafel appetizer and it was burnt, hard as rocks. Our drinks didn't arrive with our food. We had to trash everything and was out of some money.

Myreon H.

Yelp
I love the food here. The workers are very nice, and will accommodate you as best as they can. I've yet to try the desserts, and I look forward to doing so in the future.

Farrah S.

Yelp
2 stars because my food was really fresh... However the guy who I assume to be the manager of owner was moving super fast and SUPER rude. My best friend ordered a gyro and fries, they came out hard and old, when she told the guy he said "oh another person wanted crispy fries" we were like what?! Lol so you served the rest to the next customer? The the food comes out it's completely wrong she asked for no fries in her pita... When she got the food fries were in her pita!! She told the rude ass guy he said oh you already ate it. When in fact she did not (see pictures) he proceeds to say I'm not remaking your food and do not come back. THE SERVICE HERE IS HORRIBLE!!!! Do not eat here if you want to be treated like your money matters! He was honestly the rudest person I've encountered in a long time.

Baljeet P.

Yelp
W food, taste good and they got food out quickly and the store design was nice. I got the kids meal for quick bite ate that up if i'm being honest and it's halal. The guy that worked there was W

Katlyn W.

Yelp
I'm really surprised this place doesn't have better ratings. Ordered from here 3 times now and decided to do a review. Excellent food! Good size portions. Flavors are amazing and always good service too. A lot of different options and just really tasty food. Love this place!

Yelp
Vegetarian/Vegan Friendly Review: Pita Mediterranean Street food is a quick service restaurant that serves all things American Mediterranean including falafel, hummus, pita bread, vegetables, rice, quinoa, French fries etc. We like to dine here or get it to go if we want something filling and quick. I usually go with the falafel platter which comes with pita bread and two sides. This is not the most authentic Mediterranean food but it's quick and consistent and does the trick !

Yelp
FOOD: OK - SERVICE: TERRIBLE My wife and I stopped here for lunch on a Thursday around noon - our first visit to this new establishment. We placed a dine-in order for a Chicken Shawarma Pita and a Grilled Fish Pita, both with grilled vegetables as the side. After paying and finding a table, we waited over twenty minutes for our food. There were three other parties in the restaurant. There were several signs that something was wrong - for example: we noticed several of the employees looking over at us in confusion. We saw the person who worked the register trying to explain things to the cooks and plate assemblers. The people who ordered after us were served quickly. After fifteen minutes, the cash register operator came to our table AND ASKED US WHAT WE HAD ORDERED. Then he delivered one meal, asked us again what we ordered, and TOOK THE ORDER AWAY. When we finally received our food at the 23-minute mark, the chicken pita as lukewarm and the fish pita was COLD, as were the grilled vegetables. We took the food home with us and warmed it in the microwave. After heating it, the chicken shawarma was OK, but fairly salty. The grilled vegetables were OK, but some were burnt (see photo) and the portion size was very small. There are SO MANY good food choices in the Decatur area that we definitely WON'T be going back to this one. It's too bad - the concept seems good on the surface, but the execution is terrible.

Brandice A.

Yelp
Had the salmon pita and it was very good, I would prefer them to chop up it a little though. They literally cook the whole salmon and just out it in the pita with the toppings so kind of messy to eat. Fries are good even though they can be skimpy with the portions. They have lemon-like water

Joseph N.

Yelp
I write this as I sit waiting for the food I ordered literally 30 minutes ago (a to-go order, no less). I would absolutely give this place 5 stars for the food, I've had it several times, but this is unbelievably slow for a fast-casual restaurant. Food wise, I have had the chicken gyro pita, steak pita, shawarma pita, rice bowls, and all are incredible. At many Mediterranean places, I like extra sauce, but here there's no need, they dress it up nicely with sauce as they make it. The food just came up, net wait time was 34 minutes from the time printed on the receipt. The two staff members apologized for the wait, but didn't offer anything as consolation. I love this place and will be back, but I'll definitely call ahead to place my order and may not recommend it to friends because of the wait. I honestly would have gotten my food more quickly if I had dined in at a sit down restaurant...

Mandy T.

Yelp
Yuuuuuumm - since this place opened a couple of weeks ago, I've been back twice and each time the food was fresh and delicious. The first time I went, I got the traditional gyro combo. First, the portions here are MASSIVE. I got a side of fries with the gyro and the amount of fries they give you can easily feed two people (with leftovers!) The fries were well-seasoned as well and not too greasy - my favorite! The pita was light and fluffy and despite the pita being STUFFED with ingredients, the pita held the ingredients inside pretty well without spilling food all over the place. The second time I went, I ordered to-go. The workers were very friendly and the food came out quick as well. I got the steak shawarma combo and while it was good, I think I prefer the gyro instead as some of the steak pieces tasted a little dry to me after a while. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh and the price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get (PITA easily has one of the biggest gyro sandwiches I've eaten in ATL). Since PITA is pretty close to Emory, I definitely see myself stopping by more often!

Steve B.

Yelp
Online order was to be ready at 8:00 pm. I arrived at 8:00 and was told "they were too busy to get to online orders" and the food wouldn't be ready for 30 more minutes. Don't tell me my food will be ready at a certain time... and then not have it ready. Unacceptable.

Kelsea L.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Every menu option is a fresh take on Mediterranean classics! Brian (the manager) is very sweet - he was able to customized an order to accommodate my boyfriend's ketogenic diet. Interior is modern and clean - lots of outdoor light comes in so it's bright :) The food is very yummy - made to order! Monday and Tuesday has specials ($5.55 deals on gyros) that are a great deal. They also cater and deliver through DoorDash~ Comparing this location to the Mediterranean Grill across the street, I would pick this spot because of the greater variety of items and larger selection of sides. They have more health conscious choices too - like their quinoa tabouli or the option for a wheat or gluten free pita. My boyfriend liked the meats and their seasonings which says a lot because he is only recently becoming a more adventurous eater. That being said, the Mediterranean Grill next door is a heartier place to eat - large platters with chunks of meat as opposed to this location using smaller pieces (necessary for a wrap).

Zaid D.

Yelp
Went there on a Sunday evening. Empty except for a few delivery drivers waiting for orders. I ordered chicken shawarma and falafel sandwiches. I noticed that the shawarma skewers were empty and then realized that the shawarma is not being carved off the skewers and instead heated on a griddle. I'll start by saying that the hummus in the tiny tubs was good. Other than that, I would not recommend anything else. Take a look at the pictures. The flat bread (not pita) was stuffed with lettuce and pickles and 2 pieces of stale and 2 pieces of rubbery falafel. The chicken shawarma was nothing close to a shawarma... contained chopped chicken with a whole lot of lettuce. The French fries weren't good either, but I wasn't there for fries. Service wasn't friendly. They couldn't even pronounce what they were selling.

Maggie B.

Yelp
We came in right before close. I didn't realize they'd just opened this weekend so when I plugged the name in Google I was actually reading the reviews and hours of another location. We're about to move to this neighborhood so we were cruising. The food was good. Just about what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. You could tell the pitas were prepackaged and shipped in, the shoestring fries were basic, and the hummus had a bit too much lime. Maybe this new crew is still perfecting it. No real complaints. The staff could have been more professional. They seemed a bit less than enthused and one of them started literally banging on the bathroom door when I was in it trying to clean it. I'd eat here again if I didn't notice another Greek restaurant literally right across the street that seemed to be a hole in the wall owned by Greek people. I'm not sure why this place opened up where it did, but judging by THEIR reviews, I'm not sure I'd have hopes for Pita sticking around long unless they run a really tight ship. But, hey.. if you can do it, awesome!

David E.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped by to give it a try, and we were very surprised with the quality of the food. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff were nice and helpful with all of our questions. If you enjoy Mediterranean food in a quick dining setting, I would highly recommend giving it a try. The Greek fries were excellent.

Ray E.

Yelp
My wife and decided to visit the clairmont location after many great visits to the Fairburn location . The food was not even close to on par! The french fries were frozen in the middle? The gyro meat was the texture of ground beef"no slices " the lettuce wasn't cut properly. we will go to the Mediterranean grill across the street in the future! 35.00 for a poor fast food experience.

Rebekah B.

Yelp
I ordered online and when I arrived the employee didn't know anything about my order. She finally found it, and I had to wait while she made it. Completely negated the point of ordering online. She was doing the best she could, but she was the only employee in the store. More frustrating to me is the fact that they don't carry a menu item anymore but it's still available to order online. The whole reason I came here was for their Labnee.. If their website was accurate, and I knew I couldn't get that item I would have ordered elsewhere and saved myself disappointment and a lot of time!

Just M.

Yelp
Better than expected. Ordered Uber delivery chicken schawarma plus feta with Greek fries as the side, extra seasoned rice side and baklava cheesecake. The chicken was very tasty and well seasoned, and not dry. It came bottom half wrapped in foil. This is a very nice touch as the pita wasn't cold, nor dry, and it allowed the brine from the feta to moisten the whole thing. Absolutely nothing but positive experience with the shawarma with feta. The feta is naturally salty which may render the meal salty but also indicates it's legit. The Greek fries were tasty but were still Greek dressed frozen fries. I would order them again as a sharing side. The extra side of seasoned rice was small for 2.75. In the future I'll order the rice as the side with the shawarma as it's perfect for collecting what falls from the pita. The baklava cheesecake was still frozen when it arrived but also very good. I've never eaten this combination of flaky top over rich cheesecake but it really worked I thought. The bottom layer of the cake seems like traditional cake that absorbed a crazy amount of sweetness. Maybe a bit too much for me but overall something I'm very satisfied with. Overall, pleasantly surprised with experience. The place looks like a pretty uninspired and basic but I found it a good value. I ordered an extra side because I'd never ordered from here before. That being said, the portion of the schawarma and one side is enough for a man and fairly priced at $10.45. I recommend trying this place out. I look forward to trying other menu items myself.

Rasheeda J.

Yelp
VERY DISAPPOINTED IN MY FOOD TODAY! First my fries were fried hard, when I asked for new fries, I was told "oh that's cause someone asked for fries fried hard" NOW WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH MY ORDER? I'm supposed to get someone's left over fries?!!! After taking a bit into my gyro, I noticed I had fries inside my gyro, I SPECIFICALLY asked for NO FRIES IN MY GYRO, when I went to take my gyro back, I was told "that's how it comes" I come here OFTEN, was just here 4 days ago, I order the same thing ALL THE TIME! Then I was told " it won't make a difference in the taste" I am PISSED! How do you tell me what's going to be on a difference in my food or not!!!! Then I had to damn near argue for a refund cause he said "I ate some" YES I DID, one bit! That's how I knew there fries in my gyro! I was told not to come back AFTER saying I come here all the time, I always give great reviews. FUCK THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! THE OWNER IS EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE! DO NOT EAT HERE!

Carla D.

Yelp
Haven't eaten yet but I've been here so long waiting for my food that I got bored enough to write a review. I would hope that my food would be worth this wait. However, I can't help but be skeptical of that bases on the lack of customer service I've experienced so far.... Okay...worth the wait, I will just order ahead next time or not come starving.

Gabriela M.

Yelp
Well they might wear a mask when they deliver your food but I hope you don't mind hair IN the food. EWWW all for $37.

Genan S.

Yelp
The food was LIT! My gyro was scrumptious I love the menu options. Sometimes Mediterranean street food restaurants can be limited, so i was happily surprised with this menu. Have you ever had a baklava cheesecake? They sale it & it's amazing! Trust me, you need this experience. When I went there, sadly the drink machine was malfunctioning & one of the employees was being overly friendly & talkative to the point of annoyance & disturbing is while we ate. Definitely would eat their food again though.

Sileena M.

Yelp
Omg I've had so many gyro but never one like this . I ordered with Uber eats and it still came out perfect I can't wait into this all over . I'll dine in next time . The food smells amazing and fries are to die for and I hate fries but these are so good . Keep it up I'll definitely be back again and again and again !! Thank You Guys !!

Gary B.

Yelp
Tried this new restaurant for lunch today. Ordered the traditional gyro, three bread options: traditional, wheat and gluten free. I chose traditional. You get choice of one side: fries, seasoned rice, grilled vegetables, hummus or one other. I went with the grilled vegetables. Cost was $8.45. Drink prices are not displayed anywhere on the menu. They have usual fountain drinks, brewed iced tea, and several bottled drink options including beer. Fountain drinks cost $2.35 which I ordered. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. It's a pretty small space, seating for 25-30. A minimalist atmosphere with concrete floor and open ceiling. Staff were cordial but not overly friendly. Food came out about 5 minutes after ordering. They don't wait for all people in the party's food to be ready, just bring out one at a time. My companion's food came a few minutes later. Pita bread was very soft, fresh. Sliced lamb was slightly dry, their taziki sauce is very thick, not the most flavorful I've ever had but ok. Grilled vegetables were hot from the grill but plain with no caramelization, did have seasoning salt on them. Tasted ok. Overall a pretty good gyro, but average compared to many other Greek restaurants.

Yelp
Large portions, and flavorful food! The gyros were packed full of meat, and the Greek fries were so delicious. Only con- asked for no onions and extra feta.. got extra onions and no feta!

Yelp
Pretty good gyros! The food comes out fast and with large portions. The child plate looks like an adult plate.

Yelp
I found out about PITA when my office had them deliver food for us one Friday (pre-pandemic). I loved it and eventually went to their location in Midtown. I've been to this Decatur location a few times. This last visit prompted me to write this review. I'm giving it 4 stars for one reason: the woman who was working (and she was the ONLY person working during lunch) did a phenomenal job. Not only was our food cooked perfectly, she also served other people and handled take out orders. She was working her butt off for this company. I hope they paid her 4x because she did the job of four people. The place itself is a bit run down even though it's new. If they have fewer staff due to the pandemic I can understand that, but other places I've been to recently are actually better than they've been in terms of appearance. I feel as though the owners of this location have forgotten it. But don't let the appearance stop you from trying the food. I'm definitely headed back there soon.
