Pita Mediterranean Street Food

Firstly, I am a regular Pita customer and I have been to more then 5 different locations. Unfortunately this location is not doing as well as the others. On my last visit they took my order to someone else and the. The one I got was cold as well. For these reasons I gave 3 stars. Another thing is this bread looked small to me and I asked if it is the regular size since I have been getting this meal for so long. They told me yes but I still doubt it. It is not pleasant to have such issues when you are just trying to eat a regular meal you always get.

Pros: *The portions are big. *I took leftovers home. *The fries were pretty good and seasoned. *The taziki sauce was good. *The pita bread was great. *The meat (chicken) was well seasoned and there was no fat (I hate fat on my meat) *A good bit of people came in while we dined (let's us know people enjoy the food) *The restaurant was clean. *The restroom was clean. *The restaurant is spacious. *The customer service was good. Cons: *The eggplant looked horrible... almost scary. I'm not sure how they prepared it. It was was not grilled like the other vegetables. *We had to purchase more pita bread.

I ordered a shrimp Gyro and all the shrimp have shells on them. This is the most ridiculous mess I have ever seen. I’ve also gotten food in person and the restaurant is really dirty. I don’t know why I ordered this tonight and don’t see them being in business much longer especially because their attitudes are horrible.

I think ownership or management has changed. While the place looks the same and the menu is similar, the name is different and the flavors a little different. Good! This place is pretty good. The lunch time was busy with orders rolling out as fast as they could be made. I thought the guy taking orders was pleasant and efficient. Since this was my first time trying the food, I went with some traditional items. Beef shawarma and falafel with hummus and fries were ordered. The shawarma was outstanding and the falafels were tasty. I would say the overall spice taste was true to form for eastern Mediterranean street food. I will definitely be returning to sample more items. My second visit is more of the same. The gyro is decent. This is not the best middle eastern mediterranean food in Atlanta, but it is good and convenient.

Restaurant is filthy asked for no lettuce and there is lettuce mixed in the tzatziki sauce because they fail to clean the prep station where they are making the pitas. I had to ask them to wipe it down as they are cross contaminating with shrimp laying there and everything else but yet no one is here ordering anything. I just brought my food back and it was still dirty after asking them to clean it for the second time. I will be contacting the health department. I am here right now at 4:05 PM 1/29/2019.

The staff is nice. I liked the veggie falafel + fries. They need to have a bigger name plate to catch the attention of the customers. They will serve you at your table. No tips asked on the receipt.

They'll probably charge you extra for nothing or make mistake if you don't check after them. I ordered the chicken Shawarma and Kafta Kabob platter which was $11.45, but they put the kabob combo platter instead which is $13.95. And when i talked to them about it they didn't seem like they care at all, and the person at the cashier just took $2 from the tip box and gave it to me. And the difference wasn't even just $2. I thought to share this experience with you instead of fighting with them to show you how rude the staff are and you could actually end up fighting with them or write a bad review.. And also, i waited till i get the food and try it then post my final review. And as i guessed they made another mistake on the sides, they put fries instead of rice. Probably they didn't hear me correctly. And finally their food is ok to me. Nothing special.

Went there for lunch. Food was ok but the service was very slow. Ordered rice bowl and it took 30 mins to get the food. And also the rice bowl portions was small compared to price. Not coming here again
