Pita Pockets Key Biscayne - Review - Key Biscayne - Miami - The Infatuation

"Pita Pockets is a casual Lebanese spot making good handheld food perfect for a no-time-to-sit-down meal. The titular pita pocket is what you’re getting here. Specifically, the falafel pita pocket. The falafel is made to order and has the crunch of a popcorn chicken nugget and the fluff of a Hallmark movie. We like ours with tahini, muhamarra, and eggplant, but there are more toppings in case you feel inspired. Order the grape leaves and ask for them warmed up." - Mariana Trabanino

The food was great and quite authentic. The owner was making it fresh and serving it as well so it would take sometime for order to come. They gave clean restroom. Parking in at the front of the complex. We tried Chicken platter, lamb platter and Greek salad. Platter comes with choice of rice or couscous, salad, meat, hummus and yogurt. Everything was great. It’s just little warmer inside because the food is cooked fresh.

This is by far the best kabob I’ve ever had. Yeah cheesy to start a review like that but stop wasting your time ready this review and just eat here. The beef kabob is spiced and cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender, fresh and the quality is what you would find in a five star steak house. Rice pilaf, salad, compliments the dish perfectly. Humus, roasted peppers add so much more flavor. Owners are very nice, patient and took the time to explain the quality ingredients they use to make everything great. Wish there was a place like this in LA or Texas!

All the Covid measures in place. The place was clean and the food tasty! It always a nice surprise to get authentic taste in the food especially Mediterranean and this place does just that. The portions are huge so its also very shareable or you can get 2 meals out of 1. The prices are beyond reasonable and staff makes its really easy to order. We got falafel wrap, chicken swarma platter, chicken wrap and fries and everything was well seasoned. The fire paste was the best!!!

I have been ordering from this restaurant for the last 10 years and frankly, I have never been disappointed. The quality of the food is excellent, they serve generous portions and I have seen how the food is freshly prepared, from scratch. I have visited over dozens of not hundreds of Mediterranean and Lebanese restaurants all over the globe, and I can say with certainty this is the best when it comes to taste, freshness, and quality of the food.

Food was excellent as was the service. Fresh and tasty. Good variety of sauces. All were delicious. Bathroom was dirty and there was no paper at all toilet or hand towels.

This spot is so good, I’m still here eating leaving this review. Came with my lady and 2 other friends. From the service to the quality of food, just overall amazing. Great pricing and worth the extra drive south during our trip. Looking forward to coming back already. 😂

I always order from here through Uber eats and I have no complaints! I am very picky with my Mediterranean restaurants. I like authenticity. If you're from Michigan or even Jersey, you will love this spot! Definitely sometime I will come in person!

I didn't even know this little place was tucked in back there in this shopping center but glad I found it. This is Lebanese food but the fast version of it and very much like Greek food. I was starving so I needed something massive to satisfy me and I ordered the lamb/beet platter which was sooo big I didn't even get to finish it. Lamb and beef were cooked medium well to my liking and very flavorful. The hummus was good and fresh veggies, my only complaint was the rice pilaf was overcooked and a little hard but edible. This platter is $14 and the portions are huge so you are getting your $$$ worth with the amount of food. Try the platters if you have a very big appetite or even to share. Next time I'll just get a pita and that would do the job. Also they have a points system very much like 5 stars and others out there where you can stack up points to eventually get free food so ask about that if you plan to make this one of your frequent stops, it'll be worth it.
