I ordered the “Pururuca do Mar” at Più in Shopping Pátio Higienópolis expecting a crunchy, fried dish pururuca is traditionally crispy crackling.
What arrived, however, was raw fish tartare with zero fried or crunchy component. Calling it “pururuca” with absolutely no fryer involvement is misleading and disappointing in an otherwise enjoyable Italian‑creative menu.
This isn’t a small naming quirk it’s a fundamental mismatch in what the name promises versus what the dish delivers. No texture. No crunch. Just raw fish. That’s unacceptable.
I urge Più to either rename the dish or actually include pururuca for a proper experience.
