"While there are many, many brewpubs to visit in the heart of Prague, most feel quite touristy and overpriced. Head south on Vodičkova Street from Old Town to Nové Město (New Town) and straight into this casual restaurant owned by brewery Pivovar Cvikov. The main brewery is located in a small rural town in the north of the country, but the brand’s Prague restaurant offers up the entire beer list, including a dynamic semi-dark lager made with three different types of malt. Absolutely amazing! Food was excellent. Beer was amazing and highly recommend the number 12, easily one of the best if not the best beer I have ever tasted in Prague! Ondřej (the waiter) was brilliant and incredibly friendly! Made to feel incredibly welcome, and recognised when we returned later in the week after our initial visit! Hope he is still there when we all plan to return in October!!

Definitely one of the best restaurants I have visited in Prague. The food, service, atmosphere and most importantly the beer are incredible. The Cvikov 12 in my opinion is the best beer I have tasted in Prague. Our waiter on both of our visits was Ondřej, a truly great guy. Very knowledgeable on the menu/beers. We loved listening to his stories of his visites to England to see his Brother. The menu is very impressive, with something for everyone. We plan to visit Prague again in October. Will definitely be coming here for a meal and beers, hopefully Ondřej is working that weekend.

Goulash was tasty and traditional. Portion small for a big man, but enough for most girls. 6.5/10 Beef was tender and dumplings soft. Beer ( Cvikov Klíč 12 ) was good as well. Service fast. They ask for tip. You can pay with a card. Ambient standard Czech beer restaurant. Prices normal for Prague.

Good beer and food. The best was the tartar. Halusky with veggies was tasty but too oily. The waiter was nice, but the lady at the front was a bit rude.

Nice restaurant, was recommended by our guide James of “100 spires city tours” (great tour btw) Enjoyed the duck breast for starter and the beef steak as main course. Polite and nice waitress / service

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! Really nice service from the staff and really great food. I had the best Cream of Broccoli soup ever. I really need to come back for a beer!! 🍺 This is somewhere I will take my family when they come to Prague for a visit. Cheers! 🍻

Service was fantastic - we were greeted right away and he was very friendly. He gave us great beer and beer dish suggestions. The attention to detail was impeccable. When he brought the food over, he made sure to spin my husband's beer mug so that it would be easy for him to grab it. Fried cheese was delicious, as was the sausage and bread. This was one of my husband's favourite meals in Prague. The apple strudel was my favourite. It's not too sweet and was a perfect end to the meal.
