I cannot rave enough about how wonderful my experience with The Pixie and The Scout was. We turned to them to cater an intimate post-wedding dinner and everything was just phenomenal. Any inquiries were met with rapid and friendly response, the ordering process was easy, the drop-off and setup was perfectly done, and the food- wow. We all couldn't stop raving about how amazing the food was. Fresh, beautifully assembled, high quality ingredients- we couldn't have asked for better.

Pixie and the Scout catered our wedding in 2019. The food was amazing and our friends will still bring up the food every time we reminisce on that day. Katy and Jonathan had a great selection of seasonal dishes to choose from and we had full confidence that the dishes would be excellent regardless of what we actually selected. In addition, the team managed the bar, setup, breakdown, and rentals at the venue we selected, as well as coordinating with the florist, balloon vendor, and dessert vendor. Their team is kind, responsive, and experienced and I cannot recommend them highly enough. There was an abundance of food and they have very competitive rates. My wife and I have experienced many elements of their business, from catering (at our wedding and at other events), to dining in, to COVID takeout. Every time, the quality of the food and service has been top notch and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We've used these folks to cater our corporate holiday party (~50 people) over several years, and have always had a fantastic experience. They are super communicative, the prices are entirely reasonable, and most importantly, the food quality is impeccable. Some of the vegetarian dishes in particular, like the veggie spring rolls and beet salad, are among our favorites, but basically everything is solid to excellent. Highly recommended.

We used Pixie Scout catering for an office event and they were great! The food was delicious, they were helpful with menu planning and the delivery was easy. Definitely recommend.

We received catered meals from Pixie and Scout as a gift, and wow was this delicious!! Have already sampled multiple items, including the chicken and broccoli salad, onion focaccia, and the spinach and garlic dip. Very much looking forward to trying the other items and will be placing future orders for ourselves and for gifts.

Unfortunately was incredibly difficult to get a hold of. I emailed 3 times to 2 different aliases, and called/left voicemail with no response. Was super excited to inquire about catering for an event since they come highly recommended but had to book someone else. Maybe they’ve stopped catering? Either way, no update to the website and no one reached out.

I ordered the mixed grazing platter, some dips and crisps, for a small party of about 10 people. The portion was perfect and the price was great for the amount and quality of the food. I could also throw into my food order necessary napkins, cups and plates which made it not only delicious but convenient as well. Would highly recommend

Went here last night for Kate & Jonathan's monthly seasonal Supper Club dinner at a long communal table which was decorated with wheatgrass sod (I'll admit I was eating the centerpieces and chewing on the super flavorful wheatberries...) and little potted ferns. Fantastic time in a magical, whimsy and woodsy space! BYOB (and share with your neighbor). Expect dinner to be a long/late night affair but a totally worthwhile experience that you'll leave from having made a new friend or two. Almost like a baby Brooklyn version of Woodinville's Herbfarm. The food was great, though not quite filling. Would definitely recommend their catering/event services. After ringing the doorbell, you're invited through the warehouse doors into a commercial kitchen studio where the magic happens (Tinkerbell herself cooks here). Highly recommend checking out a Pixie Scout event -- to anybody who LOVES Hudson Valley food and farms and culinary exploration. They also offer workshops and classes in topics such as Preserving, Butchering, Fairy Dust on Your Spice Rack, and Being Generally Awesome (maybe not the last two).

We used Pixie & Scout to cater our wedding this past summer. (Apologies for the late posting!) They were simply excellent. We had tried another caterer before coming to P&S but their food was better, the service more amiable, and the price better - a triple win! (A lot of our guests commented on not only how good the food tasted, but on how nice the P&S staff was, too.) One thing that was especially great for us was that they were able to incorporate some "outside food" into our reception. (I'm Korean so wanted to serve certain Korean dishes for our guests.) P&S did this in a way that made the table look beautiful, rather than awkward. It's hard to say all the ways in which P&S helped us because they made it look & feel so easy for us. I'd say that's exactly what most people want at a wedding/event.

Pixie & Scout is definitely a "WE TRY HARDER and because of that we are better" kind of place. The website was easy to navigate, the processing and confirmation of my order was clear, fast and accurate. The platters I ordered were all delicious, creative, fresh and beautifully plated. The day before the book launch party I was hosting, I had an increase in the amount of people attending. I sent an e-mail asking if they could possibly make an additional platter. They were able to make it happen. Everyone at the event was happy and most importantly, no one left feeling "HANGRY".

Undeniably one of the best-kept culinary secrets of NYC. We have eaten at their seasonal suppers, had private catered events, and most recently, have taken advantage of the prepared meals home delivery. The Pixie and the Scout offer consummate service with delectable food that is good, fresh, and healthy. Think of them as your chef friends who bring you amazing goodness which restores your hope in good eating even in these pandemic times.

I hired the Pixie and Scout to do a bunch of appetizer boxes for the surprise engagement party I threw for my fiancée. They were super easy to work with, the food looked great, was really tasty, and it was totally affordable. Many thanks to Katy and the staff for helping to make my happy event memorable, less stressful, and delicious! Not quite sure if we are getting married in Brooklyn, but if we do Pixie and Scout will be my first call!

We had The Pixie and the Scout cater our wedding last month, and I'm so glad we made the choice to go with them. The food wasn't just great, it was unique, and we were able to customize just the sort of menu we wanted. We had tons of options, including a lot of vegetarian and vegan dishes, and Katy convinced us to go with a family-style dinner which was perfect for our small guest count. I had friends tell me afterward that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding!
