Washing off cooked pasta and recooking it in the correct sauce is disgusting and you are not fooling anyone! Ordered cheese tortellini in Alfredo sauce. I saw it put up to the pass in marinara sauce. I mentioned to the person bagging it to check if it was the correct sauce. She sent it back as it was incorrect. The guy who made it seemed upset that he had to make another one. 10 min later they had a "NEW" correct pasta ready. Except it was the most over done disgusting orange stained color pasta I've had. They washed off the marinara sauce and just recooked it in the Alfredo. Do better.

Ordered a fellafel they had options for whole wheat, white or a wrap. The felafel tasted like a felafel. Place was busy but there was room to sit. Wide selection of drinks but no diet Mountain dew.

I recently visited this pizza place, and my experience was disappointing. The menu listed a pizza pie at $21.99, but when the bill arrived, they charged $27.99. When I brought it up, they claimed the menu hadn’t been updated—a clear display of dishonesty that left me horrified. The decor is simple, with no background music to create any atmosphere. The screens don't work. On the positive side, the place was fairly clean, but if this were New York, it would probably earn a B rating at best. Overall, the experience felt lackluster, and I doubt I’ll be returning anytime soon.

The food here is incredible. The place is clean and has a large selection on their menu . Very well priced and they have all food brought to you be a server at no charge ! The owner personally involves himself in the business and goes around with a positive attitude and makes sure to greet customers respectfully. The same goes for the staff they are fantastic and always helpful and want to make your dining experience an enjoyable one. We look forward for Thursday night each week to come by and enjoy their delicious menu.

Yelp
No big shake here! Got a falafel sandwich, it was sloppy and messy. Looked like they threw the hummus in. The pizza and garlic knots were good but not coming here for that and ordered Mac n cheese. The sauce wasn't great. I would skip next time

Yelp
Pizano is one of those places which are "OK but forgettable". Nothing really stands out, except for their prices that is. The food and service in on par. Their chairs are plastic an narrow. They need to invest in shade or all their clientele will go blind. Eating an squinting is not something I bargained for. 'Meh' at best.

Yelp
Wow, is their food memorable. It's one thing for food to be delicious when you're starving. But when it tastes at least as good after you're completely full, you know you've got a winner. The vegetable soup was simple and yet flavorful with potatoes and zucchini among other beautifully diced and meltingly soft vegetables. The eggplant parmesan was possibly the best I've ever tried. The eggplant was topped with broiled cheese as was the cheese lasagna - appealing to the eye as well as the palate. And the cheese lasagna was no ordinary cheese lasagna. The cheese filling was not simply ricotta between layers of pasta and some sauce. It was beautifully seasoned - the herbs were actually visible. I ordered the fettucine alfredo which was at once creamy, buttery and silken. The sauce was not cheesy-thick as some alfredos are, but light and yet rich in taste. Someone at another table ordered French toast, and boy did that smell good. And the other dishes other people were getting also looked delicious. I needed sugar, despite eating more than I should because dinner was so good. They had muffins, a cheesecake possibly not made in-house and giant chocolate chunk cookies (I think they have other desserts, but that's what I was feasting my eyes on). I decided on the cookie - and the young man who appears to be the manager said it was on the house "because it's (one of) the last of them." Boy, oh boy, if the dinner didn't give me reason to want to return, the cookies alone would. Rich chocolate chunks in a super-crispy cookie - my favorite. The staff was very nice (even before the cookie :) ). The ambiance is modern casual and comfortable. A relaxing - and really tasty - place to be with family and friends.

Yelp
I have never really taken a restaurant to task because everyone has a good day and a bad day. However what I experienced today at Pizano in Lakewood, NJ is something that I must share. Being that Lakewood has limited dairy evening options, and really wanting dairy, I chose to go here with my family, even though in the past we have had poor service here. We have had times where food took 40 minutes to arrive, times were every item brought to the table was not what we ordered, items being "forgotten", special instructions ignored, and more poor experiences. We placed an order, and one of the items we ordered was a cooked salmon roll. We made it clear that we wanted it plain, with no sauces, toppings, or crunches. When the sushi arrived it was sprinkled with sweet sauce. The sushi was for my son and he was very upset by it, as he really doesn't like the sweet sauce. We brought it back to the counter and explained the issue. He summonsed the sushi guy who proceeded to bombard us with nastiness and that we have no right to complain as he's been making sushi for 21 years, and he always makes it with sauce. I asked him to kindly remake it, to which he refused, and continued with his nasty diatribe. At this point I asked the manager to cancel my complete order and refund me as I refused to be spoken to that way by a restaurant worker. The sushi guy loudly says: "Good, get the F**K out of the store", and other such vile language. I told him that his language is unacceptable and that I will contact the owner. He proudly told me to do so, and continued to repeat his vile filled rant. The manager was barely apologetic, but did refund us for the order (minus the cookie that my son already ate). Being that the owner was not present, I reached out and called the owner to let him know that I have never been treated this way by a restaurant, and that this is unacceptable. Instead of asking for details about what happened and apologizing, he began to berate me for calling, and what do I know about restaurants, and why I think he should do anything about it. As I have always known, how workers treat customers is a reflection of ownership/management, and I obviously just witnessed that. Personally I feel this workers behavior should be grounds for dismissal, but seeing how the boss is equally as nasty, I am not surprised and probably nothing will happen. I would encourage everyone to avoid this store until ownership takes responsibility and apologizes, and personally feel the employee should be fired.

Yelp
The food is okay. Nothing special, but not horrible. But the service is horrible. Nasty waiters. Never coming back here.

Yelp
Ordered food over the phone for pickup and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. It took longer for us to get out of work than we thought so was there 30 minutes later and the food still wasn't ready! And once we went in they were RIDICULOUSLY rude. The first person walked away literally as she was helping me and the second guy was even worse than her. Food is decent but for that price I expect better service.

Yelp
The food is meh the service is horrible. When it's slightly busy it can take 30-45 minutes to get your food. There grilled cheese is pretty good tho.

Yelp
Recently renovated, the inside of Pizano has a very fresh and modern look. The food was a bit pricey and preparation/service was slow but the food was so delicious we went back two days later for more!

Yelp
Good food but they need to get rid of the guy at the register. He is extremely slow service and annoying
