"Pizza 4P’s started in a Tokyo backyard, where founder Masuko Takasugi and his then-girlfriend (now wife), Sanae, decided to build an outdoor pizza oven, planting the seeds for what would become an award-winning operation. In 2011, they left the corporate world and started their venture in Ho Chi Minh City, with a first location off Le Thanh Ton Street in Japan Town. Wanting to keep the price point low, they decided to make their own mozzarella cheese at a facility in Da Lat, and have since expanded production to include favorites such as Camembert and burrata. The thin-crust pies range from traditional (e.g., Parma ham, cherry tomatoes, arugula, burrata) to inspired (salmon sashimi with onion ricotta cheese sauce), and there are vegetarian options too (zucchini, zucchini flower, and basil with house-made lactic cheese). We did everything by the book. Reserved inside. Arrived at 5:00 pm sharp; the hour one chooses when one intends to eat what one actually likes. Naturally, we were seated outside, beside what can only be described as music practice rooms for people who have never met silence. Availability, apparently, is a suggestion, not a commitment. By 5pm — five, mind you — most of the favorites were already gone. Not sold out in a heroic, end-of-night way. Gone in a “we’ve decided abundance is optional” kind of way. So we under-ordered, over-compromised, and left hungry; which is an impressive achievement for a pizza restaurant. Now, credit where it’s due: the staff were excellent. Polite, attentive, visibly aware that reality had failed us. They offered a 20% discount, which was classy, appreciated, and frankly the only thing preventing this from becoming a full Greek tragedy. But let’s be honest, a discount doesn’t replace dinner, and reliability is the entire point of a chain. If I wanted uncertainty, I’d invest in stocks. Conclusion: pleasant people, decent food, questionable promises. Never trust a chain; especially when it promises you inside, early, and available.

A lot branches across HCM. Good place with a lot of pizza & other food choices in the menu. Making reservation in advance is a must to ensure you have a comfortable table. Recommended to have a table indoor near the open kitchen to see the chefs working. While there were still a lot of available tables in the outdoor & the mall area, it can get quite noisy at times. A must to have is the half half pizza. The recommended one is the 5 cheese pizza and Soy Garlic Beef.

we didn’t have a reservation but still managed to get a table. the food was incredible, especially the crab pasta. our server, Kim Long, was so kind and helpful! he truly made the experience even better!

Good place with a lot of pizza choices. Making reservation in advance is a must to ensure you have a comfortable table. Sometimes I couldn't understand why their staffs always guided the walk-in customers to the open air area during noon time (which is very hot and less convenient) while there were still a lot of available table in the indoor area. Anyway, they are caring when you are seated.

Massively overrated restaurant chain. Food was overall poor. Pizza lacked flavour and were sloppy. Pasta was clumpy and had clearly sat for a long time before being served to us. Food did not arrive at the same time. This is a huge issue. Service was slow and poor. I can't recommend, there are much better alternatives in Thao Dien and surrounding area with better ingredients and prices.

Went here on Women’s day. The logistics were chaotic in the ordering process but the staffs were extremely accommodating and provided very thoughtful solution, even the new staff was very mindful with us. As it was a special day, every lady gets a small surprise. Have been a will always be a frequent customer of 4P. Food as usual is top-notch.
