Pizza 900 Wood fired Pizzeria

Definitely adding this place to the rotation! Wings were good, decent garlic knots. Pizza was very good. We tore it up! Wife and Daughter enjoyed the pizza Bianco. My son and I ripped through the spicy meat lovers #8. Dine in recommended.

Hands down THE BEST pizza in Orange County by far! It is truly excellent pizza place, reminds me of Italy. It is truly a hidden gem!!! This pizza is perfection: the crust is crispy and chewy, the toppings are high quality-mozzarella, pepperoni, mushrooms, basil-it is delicious 😋! Everything is made from scratch and you can taste the difference in every bite!!! Their pizzas are baked in a 900° wood fired burning oven. This is not your traditional American pizza. It is the type of pizza you would get in Naples Italy. We have tried a few different pizzas on the menu and they were all delicious, we can’t say which one is better, because they are all so good !!! We have also tried for a dessert “zepole “ -freshly baked and perfectly sweetened. The service has also been exceptional, the staff is very friendly and helpful, who clearly take pride in the quality of this restaurant, making the customers satisfied. The restaurant is very spacious and they have a nice patio area too. If you haven't been there yet and you like pizza, you must go. It's so good, you'll love it! We highly recommend it!!!

Stopped by for lunch. Clean nice place for large groups. Got the a personal pizza and salad deal pizza was great salad was good could use a little more dressing.

I hadn’t had pizza in a while and I really loved the wood fired pizza. I tried the DonFather pizza, and it was absolutely delicious, loaded with toppings. The basil on the Margherita pizza was a great touch, adding extra freshness. You could really taste the wood-fired flavor in the dough, which had a slight sweetness and a perfect crisp bite no flop at all. It was clear the pizza was homemade with great attention to detail. Highly recommend, This was my first time here, and I’ll definitely be back.

I've been in search of a decent pizza place, with good pizza AND good customer service staff. Actually something hard to find in the area despite the $20/hr starting pay for food workers. The Pizza Hut in RSM closed down since it wasn't very good. I've been to 3 Dominos locations in the area and either my order was wrong or the customer service was seriously lacking. Sabintinos used to be good, but they started to seriously skimp and mostly crust on their pizza despite higher prices. And I've gone to Ballpark Pizza many times over the years, but they have messed up my order a handful of times due to the teenage staff. I was excited to try Pizza 900 because of the good Yelp rating. And when I called in my order, they told me they were #1 in Orange County. I had high expectations. I called my order in 4 hours in advance so it would be ready when I arrived. I was surprised they were not very busy when I got there to pick up, considering they are supposed to be the best in the county. Luckily I checked my order before leaving, because there were mushrooms added to my pizza, which I'm highly allergic to. How disappointing if I had driven 30 min home and then found the error. They re-made the pizza while I waited. It would have been a good customer service move to offer me a free fountain drink or cookie while I waited, since they have both, and I now had to wait for a do-over after calling in advance to make sure my order would be ready specifically so I would not have to wait. But no one bothered to offer me anything. When I got home with the new pizza I quickly realized that the base wasn't strong enough to support the toppings. The crust is too thin and when you go to pick up a slice, all the toppings just slide right off. I had to end up eating the toppings with a fork off the box. Also the base (crust) had a lot of black on the bottom, and had a bad burned flavor. Sadly, the pizza was not good overall and I would not come here again. The reason for still giving 3 stars is because the ingredients seemed fresh and the staff was polite.

Picked this placed because we were in the area and couldn’t decide what to eat. The adults wanted pizza and the kids wanted Mexican food. What a hidden gem! The pizza came out so quickly and was so good! We ordered the godfather (a supreme kind of pizza) and the pizza bianco. The kids ordered a quesadilla combo and the taco combo with rice and beans. Everything was delicious!

We visited a place called Pizza 900 last night. If you're planning to go there on a Saturday evening, be prepared for a bit of a wait.It's quite busy. The pizzas we received were around 7 out of 10 in terms of taste, which I’d say makes them a good option when considering the price-performance ratio. One thing that felt a bit out of place was the TV inside the restaurant showing UFC cage fighting. There were children under the age of 10 present, so that choice didn’t feel very thoughtful. On the bright side, the owner is extremely talkative and welcoming, he treats guests like family, which creates a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Best Pizza in South Orange County, unique, original toppings, fresh thin crust made right in front of you and the guys behind the counter always serve you with a smile. The #6 is my favorite, try it if you want a truly unique pizza. They have a kid size pizzi that my grandson loves since he gets it his way and he doesn't have to share. I have brought so many friends here and they all rave about the food. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Wood fired Pizzas done right!!! So glad we found this place. Now I know where to get my Pizza fix. Everything on the menu looked tantalizing. Whoever named these Pizzas is a genius. The names make you visualize what the pie would be like and it's like a dream come true when they hit your table. We started with the garlic knots. Served with Marinara sauce this is a perfect appetizer. We had 3 pizzas between the five of us and it was perfectly enough. The #2 : Margherita - 900's Red Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Sea Salt, Parmesan Cheese, Fresh Basil. The #5: Invasione di Pizza - House Made Chili Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Roasted Jalapeños, Roasted Chicken, Roasted Garlic, Red Onions and topped off with Fresh Cilantro. The #8: Grande Edo Siciliana - 900's Red Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Spicy Calabrese Salami, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Roasted Garlic, Chili Infused Oil, Crushed Red Pepper, Basil and Parmesan Cheese. The winner out of these was the #5. Amazing flavors. Simply amazing. You have to try this one to see what I'm talking about. The other two were very flavorful as well. Will go back soon to try some more from their vast offerings. For dessert we had the Churros. Filled with a creamy vanilla custard and served with a caramel sauce, this was a perfect ending to a great dinner. Oh and they have a great selection of beers on tap and wines by the glass. I had the Valpoilcella. The first pour seems a bit off but they opened a fresh bottle and all was well. Great pizza outing on a rainy OC evening!

I eat pizza several times a month and make my own fairly often as well. There is a good chance that I love pizza more than you. With that said, I can tell you that the pizza in this restaurant is OK, quite thin, a bit on the expensive side for what you get, and I had a difficult time learning about the multitude of pizzas they offer by looking at my phone since they have no menu for you to look at in the restaurant. I would not go back to this restaurant.

Ari and his team make GREAT pizza!! We just ordered the Carnivore and a pepperoni. Both were amazing. This is not cookie cutter pizza and worth every penny. I enjoyed watching Ari interact with his staff. It was busy, yet all of the line workers were smiling and joking. It was the same with other clients as well. It is a welcoming environment with outstanding food. What more could you ask for/

Amazing hand tossed pizza cooked to perfection! With 3 of us looking to split a light meal the staff was super helpful in letting us know that a half salad and a pizza would be perfect! Not too busy and the decorations are tastefully done and fit the atmosphere perfectly! Must go to with kids

Finally writing a review for this place. My wife and I have been here multiple times through the years and have always had great food. The workers are always friendly and chat with you a bit. This time we got the #8 Grande Edo Siciliana Pizza with side salad and drink combo. The pizza was delicious and had a good kick to it. Good dough and crust. The pepperoni had a nice little crunch to them as well. The side salad was big enough to share. The mozzarella cheese and Italian dressing was good. In the past I've had the garlic knots and wings with both being amazing as well. This is my go to local pizza place.

I've heard of this place & always have been wanting to give it a try. I just couldn't justify coming here randomly, but when my co workers mentioned that they are going here for lunch, I was in. Finally my chance to try !! I appreciated the exotic flavors (korean bbq beef, shwarma, etc). I ended up splitting half a pizza with my co worker. On my side I got the bbq chicken (topped with arugula) & she got pineapple margherita. We also got an order of garlic knots. It seemed to take awhile for the pizza to come out, but it was worth the wait ! The garlic knots came out first & they were by far the best garlic knots I have ever ate !! It wasn't your typical garlic flavor, it seemed there was an herbal infusion of some sort. It was just perfect !! I think the pizzas are all one size which is slightly annoying. I gobbled up my half & it was the best bbq chicken pizza. The bbq sauce wasn't overloaded at all & it complemented the onion & whatever cheese was on there. My only complaint is that they forgot the arugula which is why I can't give a 5 star rating. I will definitely be returning here, awesome pizza !!

Pleasant first experience with areas of improvement. We ordered PMS pizza and the Firenze sandwich. Pizza is not very big (more of a personal size) but the sandwich is a decent size. Flavors were good on both pizza and sandwich. What I was confused about was the amount of mortadella in my sandwich, all the other images on Yelp show much more meat included in sandwiches so I'm not sure why mine was quite less. Having that said, the sandwich bread is incredibly good and the other ingredients were very fresh. We had ordered double mushroom on our pizza and extra crispy crust. It felt like the mushroom was usual size and crust was not really crispy (just normal). It wasn't bad at all just not exactly how we had placed our order. Hopefully our next visit will be better so I can happily update the review to 5 stars.

Still our family's favorite pizza! My kids ask for Pizza 900 every time we're nearby. I like that they have a chef's special that changes every day. The ingredients are fresh and the quality is great. They also have a nice draft beer selection. The employees are very friendly.

Hands down the best pizza. I am a regular here and order for my work events all the time, that's how much I like it. I think what sets it apart is that they make everything from scratch. I compare all other pizza places I eat at to this place and nothing compares.

I am still dreaming of The First Pizza and look forward to devouring many, many more! Arugula, goat cheese, dates, and mozzarella, all drizzled with honey. It all may sound odd, but its truly a celebration for the taste buds.

The red brick fire oven makes all the difference when it comes to quality pizza! They have plenty of seating to accommodate large parties and outdoor/patio seating as well! I opted for carry out which did not take long at all. Great service!

Very solid wood-fired pizza. However, it's a bit pricey for the size. All of their pizza comes one size cut into six decently sized pieces. It's definitely shareable between two people, but not quite enough for a third person. At $22, I think it's a bit pricey. I do feel that they put enough toppings, and the quality of the pizza is good. I got the Jimmy and Grande Edo Siciliana. The Jimmy changes to a random concoction every day, so you never know what you'll get. The day I went, it had guacamole, pico de gallo, and short rib. It was really good. I enjoyed the flavors of the Grande Edo Siciliana. It was a little spicy and very flavorful. I will definitely get it again if I were to come back. Overall, it's a really good place to go if you're looking for wood-fired pizza!

My family and I were craving pizza and decided to try this place after seeing the positive reviews. Despite it being busy on a weekday night, we found plenty of seating in this spacious establishment. We ordered garlic knots, Margherita, Invasione de Pizza, and Grande Edo Siciliana for the table. Each pizza was delicious with fresh, soft crusts and packed flavors. For dessert, we tried the churros, which were hot and creamy. Overall, it was a great experience, and we look forward to returning to try more items from the menu!

I ordered wings. That's what I got. And they were fresh and super flavorful. I also got two pizza pies which they only carry one size btw I got pepperoni and something else that was like a combination but it had its own name which I forgot The young man with colored eyes guided me thru the menu and he was great. I also noticed they have nice indoor seating and some outdoor it was nice.

Second time here and will go back anytime. We got Firenze sandwich ( it has raw pistachios which I loved) you can ask to remove it if you don't like it but it was so delicious. We also ordered Grande Edo Siciliana Pizza which was spicy but tasty & The Donfather Pizza. The cashier is so helpful with selecting among different options.

We walked in this place after finding that it had good reviews! They didn't disappoint. The cashier greeted us and answered all our questions, and he was super friendly! We ordered a Maui pizza subbing out the prosciutto with grilled chicken and hubby got the bbq chicken pizza. If we lived only closer, we would go back all the time!

One of the best italian restaurants I ate in. We had the Grande Edo Siciliana, the bbq chicken pizza, and the garlic knots. The Grande Edo Siciliana was meaty with a bit of spice, bbq chicken was one of the best I ever had, and the garlic knots were fragrant and tasty. We did find a piece of hair in the pizza, but they were kind enough to replace our whole pizza. Superb service and I definately will come here again. Shout out to Jason for the friendly service!

Best gluten free pizza crust. Authentic taste and ingredients. Flour is imported from Italy. Expensive but worth it. Owner and employees are friendly!

Delicious Neapolitan pizza with all sorts of fun toppings. Salads are really good too! They also do catering and the food is fantastic.

This is probably the BEST PIZZA in all of SoCal! They wood fire their pizza and create some of the best flavors with the freshest ingredients. You have to try #9 THE JIMMY. It's always different but it's their daily special. This time I lucked out and it was a surf and turf pizza with homemade pesto and white sauce. Also tried the #1 and between the fresh mozzarella and the flavorful red sauce, it's one of the best cheese pizzas ever! It was super busy so order ahead. They have beers on tap and they said they're going to put in a little bar area on the front counter so you can sip on a beer while you wait for your pizza! This place is a MUST TRY!!

We went back yesterday and I had to add to my review because this time we tried their sandwiches and they were off the chart delicious! I had the Toscana on their house-made bread, and it really takes the sandwich to the next level. The bread has a crispy exterior topped with sesame seeds and a soft and pillowy interior but it's not dense and too bready - just perfect! They spread on pesto, stuffed it thick with Italian meats, with a fresh creamy barata cheese and topped with chopped pistachio nuts. It was excellent! My husband had their meatball sandwich (no cheese added) and it was made on the same bread with their delicious meatballs and sauce. As always, even with a never ending line, they get people served quickly and the service is always friendly, Ari is the owner and together with his team they work very hard to please their customers.

Very, very small pizza for the price, the only size listed for a Margherita pizza Delivery estimate correct, but cold on arrival - no exaggeration. The restaurant was only 6 minutes away. Taste was fine, but nothing exceptional. Don't be disappointed. Pass this one by.

What a happy accident today when I was going to another restaurant, and they were extremely busy this morning. so I just walked around the corner and OMGosh Pizza 900; where have you been all of my life? The atmosphere and the music playing were very Italian, and I just knew I was in the right place. The menu is right in front of you with an incredible selection. What the heck, they even bake fresh baked cookies every single day(except Sunday, the day of rest). When you order from the counter, you are greeted with a friendly smile and great service. We were excited to drive to this place as we were looking for wood fire pizza. The ambience was casual and you order at the counter. We ordered Caesar salad, pizza with burrata cheese, prosciutto, arugula, I forgot the name, this was recommended by the guy at the counter. We also have dessert which was fried dough with ricotta cheese and some Nutella. There were a bunch of kids with their parents. It looked like a place family comes to after a soccer game. Food was ok, I enjoyed our crispy wings and ceasar salad. Pizza was not as good as I was expecting, I was looking for a little tastier crust, it was just ok. Crust was too dense for my taste. Dessert was not as Nutella filled as I wanted it to be. Service was excellent, although, I probably had high expectations and I was disappointed. But, this is still a solid choice.

Was in town for the weekend and help lead me to this woodfire delight! Great customer service, amazing selection of craft beers & wine. My wife and I split a Greek salad that was super fresh and crisp. We got the pizza to go and wow! Just amazing. I would have to give this place an extra star. I've been a chef for Italian pizza restaurants for 20+ years and this place does not disappoint!

Pizza900 (and Taco900) catered our wedding reception and they were stunning! Ari, the owner was extremely kind and helpful throughout the planning process and even let us create a custom pizza for our event. The staff was flawless and the food was delicious! We received so many compliments of both the presentation and taste of everything. Highly recommend booking them for both casual and formal events!

This is a tough review to write: on one hand, the pizza is delicious: it is Neapolitan style and the ingredients great, but on the other hand, the pizza is extremely pricey for the size. Since it is a thin crust pizza, the portions aren't as filling, which is fine, but when you have to pay over $20 for a what essentially is a personal pan pizza, you want to be full, at least in my opinion. With that being said, if you are paying for the experience of a Neapolitian pizza , I really don't know how authentic Pizza 900. While yes, it does use a wood fired oven with Italian imported ingredients, I don't believe it holds a VPN Certification, which is the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana in Napoli, making it as close to authentic you can get with a pizzeria being in America. As for the ambiance: it is a good casual spot to have pizza and watch a game but it's not an elegant place by any means. Don't get me wrong, Pizza 900 still makes a good pizza, and I think it would be a good spot to hang, but for me personally, for the price, I would rather just go to Angelina's in Irvine for a more for truly authentic pizza and the elevated ambiance and experience.

Had lunch here with my two little grandsons and the greeting at the door was very good ! Pizza was amazing! !!! The service was top notch! Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Was working in the area and craved pizza so I checked this place out. It's legit! Crust is chewy and the flavors are on point. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and really enjoyed it. Could have used a bit more BBQ sauce but overall great.

This pizza is outstanding! The crust is everything that I ever dreamed a crust could be. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but at least I'm getting a quality meal for the money that I'm dishing out. Even when I got the lunch special with a smaller pizza, I was worried that it would have way too much crust and not enough pizza (like a lot of smaller size pizzas do), but that wasn't the case at all. I'm seriously considering whether this is my favorite pizza place in all of Orange County!

Grande Edo Siciliana is easily one of the best pizza's I have had in my life. The first bite has you in awe and you can't help but close your eyes to enjoy everything going on. If it was a little crispier it would be #1. Right now it's in Top 3 for me. I live in San Diego and it's worth the drive.

Such a great local pizzeria! Shout out to Dee, A for telling me about this pizza oasis. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and it's all made in house. I recommend reading the menu and know what you want to order before you walk in because the board above where you order only has the names of the pizzas and not really what comes on them. They also get pretty busy so if you know before you walk up it's saves you some headache. They also own a Mexican restaurant that's right next door so we ordered some guacamole while we waited and it was yummy and unexpected lol. What makes this place stand out is the quality dough. It really can make or break a good vs. Bad pizza for me. There is something about their dough that is unforgettable. The ingredients really stood out in the donfather. I took off the pepperoni since I'm not the biggest fan but nonetheless it was phenomenal. The Italian sausage and sauce they make is so tasty. This pizza disappeared pretty quickly which, by the way they only have one size and it's like 10 or 12 inches, I forgot exactly but it's feeds two for sure. The cheese and pepperoni was a huge hit with my daughters. We ordered the meatballs and I would pass on them next time, but only because we had enough food that was even better lol they were still tasty and the marinara sauce they make is to die for. But the real winner here was the Della Dessert Pizza with a Nutella base and fruit on their house made pizza dough. Um one of the best desserts I've tried in a long time. This actually disappeared right away lol. If you like pizza and Nutella just order two of these and thank me later

My husband and I were very eager to try this restaurant because of the wood fire ovens and great reviews. It is located fairly close off of the freeway, and has plenty of parking. It also shares the same restaurant as their sister Mexican restaurant (right next door) so you can order from both kitchens, which is really awesome. When I walked in, I immediately noticed an industrial look but with that small family atmosphere! All the staff members graciously greeted us, and it seemed like the owner introduced himself and knew all the customers. I thought the salad was very flavorful. We ordered a small and was able to split between the both of us. They were kind w the shredded rectangular cheese and dressing. I also felt the pizza was tasty and fresh but not greasy! It didn't feel like i was gonna have a cholesterol spike by the end of the meal. The flautas were good and freshly made. Did not seem too greasy as well, but it was still tasty,

Yummy! I ordered their Margarita pizza, light on the cheese, extra basil. I phoned ahead, and it was just out of the oven when I arrived. The pizza was just as I ordered it, and it was delicious. My hairdresser is just across the street, so I will make this my monthly pizza fix.

Excellent gluten-free crust. Fresh and flavorful ingredients. There was a short wait but the food made it worth it. Relaxed and casual seating. If you sit outside, expect some noise as outdoor seating is in the parking lot and it is covered and open.

I wanted to love this place, because I admire the concept of using ingredients straight from Italy. However, the finished pizzas fell short of the colorful flavors found at the source. Still, I want to give credit to the establishment for hand-making their own mozzarella. That is a tough thing to do every day - I'm sure there are days where the taste is a bit off. Judging from the other glowing reviews, it seems like I caught them when the cheese lacked flavor, or perhaps there wasn't enough of it on the pizza. The meatballs we ordered as an appetizer were decent!

Was not expecting this place to have such great pizza! Heard about it through their catering, and the pizza is amazing. Tastes best if you have it there or very quickly after it's made, I'll eat a few slices in the car before headed home.
