Pizza Amigos

Amigos meat delite and their combination were both 10/10, so delicious, loved it. Every topping had great flavor, and even the sausages, which often have no flavor, were also full of flavor. The bread and crust were perfect, soft yet crispy. The only thing we didn't like were the mozzarella sticks. They were frozen sticks, and when they came out, there was no more cheese, just a weak flavored bread shell. Only 2 out of the five still had cheese, 2/10.

Pizza Amigos makes my favorite pizza in town. The crust is soft and fluffy, and the have the best pepperoni I have ever had. My go to pie is pepperoni and green onion. They make it consistently great every time. The service is always a little slow when we go to pick up our order, but the pizza is well worth the wait, everytime.

I would like to emphasize the owner uses very strong language in his mother tongue towards this workers in the back, which is heard throughout the restaurant. Especially the young woman. Additionally, there are boxes everywhere, including drinks

below average but 1. not a chain and 2. delivers pretty late. other non-chain pizza spots are way better but are either way more expensive, or not open late, so this spot is often my "well, I guess.." :/

They used to be only 3-4 stars in my book, but recently quadrupled the size of their menu and really got their speed and level of service up to par. Bonus points for being the only place to get food after ~10-11pm.

Couldn't have the pizza cause I'm lactose intolerant but they were so nice to make garlic bread with no cheese and it was amazing!

The app bugged out and placed it as a pick up order, so I went to pick it up. One hour later, pizza still isnt finished or ready. There was some sort of problem with doordash which they said they would resolve the issue, and I went on my merry way. Once home the manager contacted me that I owe him money, I already paid doordash and they had created some sort of miscommunication between themselves and the merchant. The store manager threatened to find me, that he has my name, number and address, and that he would "take care of it." Little bit spooked from the interaction, I hope doordash fixes the problem that was caused, and that the owner learns to not threaten customers. Beware going here.

Edited review: recently Pizza Amigos changed their menu on DoorDash so Gluten free pizzas no longer give you an option to change the size. The description also doesn’t say what size they will be. So my pizzas I ordered for my party showed up as two personal 10 inch pizzas. I’m so damn disappointed in Pizza Amigos. That’s just plain deceptive and shady. I ended up paying $56 for two personal pizzas. Not accounting for door dash fees and tip. Pizza Amigos lost a loyal customer. Old review: I’ve never had pizza in store but I often order through door dash and dude… it’s always so good. I get gluten free combo pizza almost twice a month and it’s the same quality every time. The ingredients like the veggies are fresh. I do wish they would be a little more generous with the protein but it’s still fine. God bless Pizza Amigos for getting me through this semester.

We love their pizza! It's all delicious and I'm specifically thrilled with their gluten free option- cauliflower crust pizza, literally the best. Fast delivery as well!

I've never gone to Pizza Amigos before but decided to place an order on Uber Eats because they had a BOGO order for their pizzas. Sounded a bit too good to be true, considering each pizza costs at least $20. After my order was placed, it was immediately confirmed by the restaurant, and 15 minutes later, I was informed by the app that my order was likely ready. When I arrived at the restaurant for pick-up, I was confused on whether or not I had the right location. All of the lights in the restaurant were closed, there was junk on the table (see photos from Alexandria C from Aug 18, 2024), and not a single person was inside. Additionally, on the front door, there was a taped piece of binder paper with "Help Wanted" messily written on it. I called Uber Eats customer support to see if they could contact the restaurant to see what was going on and they too were unable to connect. I'm thankful they were able to cancel my order and refund me fully. I hope nobody has to go through this annoying experience like I did. Definitely stay away from ordering online since you can't confirm they're actually open and accepting orders. Judging by the other customer reviews here on Yelp, it honestly sounds like the best case scenario worked out for me. Given how messy the interior of the restaurant looked, I would be deeply concerned about consuming any food coming out of their kitchen.

Great Pizza at Great Prices! I recently tried this pizza place and was really impressed. The food was delicious, the crust was crispy, the toppings were fresh. Will definitely order again soon.

Ordered the following: butter chicken penne pasta ($12), chicken alfredo penne pasta ($12), calzone (filled with 3 choices: beef, spinach, mozzarella $13), and a 10" Amigos Chicken Pizza (6 slices for $17). This is definitely an indian/italian/pizza fusion joint. While I have had this type of food elsewhere around the bay, I felt a bit underwhelmed by the flavor combinations and ingredients for what we ordered. Alfredo pasta had a strong uncooked mayonnaise base flavor which probably tried to make a creamy sauce but it turned out tasting really off for me (not expected nor appreciated). Calzone was overcooked/slightly burnt and lacking flavor in the ground beef (no discernable seasonings or marinade). Pizza and butter chicken pasta were OK, not my favorite but better than the other 2 choices. Portion and price-wise it was reasonable. I just wish there was more flavor and more of a true pizza and pasta essence or flavor to their dishes, even if it is somewhat fusion, flavor still matters and I felt was also Americanized for the Indian part of the fusion cuisine dishes.

Okay, whoa! My husband and I came here over the weekend to try a new pizza place. We got one meat pizza and one that was chicken tikka masala! I've never seen anything like that before but boy was it good! Both pizzas were super flavorful. To be honest, it was a little on the pricey side as far as pizza goes but well worth it. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for a new pizza place =)

In town at a hotel for a school reunion. After the after party we decided to order pizza and these guys popped up on DoorDash able to deliver at 130am, so we gave them a shot. It arrived on time, pizza was still hot. It was hit, everyone enjoyed it. Perfect amount of pepperoni & cheese. Not too greasy, crust was cooked perfectly, perfect to fold and enjoy. Next time I'm in Berkeley I will definitely order again.

This is a decent pie by California standards. They apparently have shifted to delivery or pickup only, they used to have some seating but it was all occupied by to-go boxes. Still some barstools if you want to wait for your pie. Prepandemic they had great prices but a medium pie with toppings will cost you over $20 pickup. I decided that if I was to get a pie, I'd just be a traitor to east coast sensibilities and get a Hawaiian (pineapple and ham) with jalapeños. The jalapeños were on the non-spicy side. The pineapples were ok, the ham kinda just ok. Cheese melty but not fantabulous. Crust chewy but not fantabulous. Ie, what you'd expect from a west coast chain store -- although this isn't a chain store but a sole proprietor. If these were hella cheap enough to eat every week then I'd be raving. It's an ok pie and I'd definitely eat if if I were hungry but not something to go out of my way for except to support a sole proprietor in this age of megachain ghost kitchen madness.

Only problem, the pizza was not hot. Sadly, I've had to downgrade my rating. I don't know why it was barely warm, but it should arrive jot.

This place is pretty solid!! I got the veggie pizza, pesto pasta. and alfredo. The veggie pizza was pretty good! The crust to sauce to cheese ratio was PERFECT. This is a crucial element that tends to be inconsistent at many places but not here. Veggie pizza's can be underwhelming and lack flavor but Pizza Amigos does a good job of making sure that isn't the case. 10/10 The pasta's were not my favorite. The fettuccine alfredo tasted a bit sour and not at all like alfredo. They add tomatoes and broccoli in it which may throw some folks off. The noodles were also a bit over cooked for this one. The pesto. was a lot better taste wise. The pesto sauce was creamy and flavorful. They do add broccoli,tomato, and olives to it which may not be a flavor combination everyone likes. The food runs oily, but you kind of expect it coming in to a pizza place. i definitely recommend checking them out for some solid pizza!

Pizza was delicious! The sauce wasn't salty and all ingredients were placed by hand, you could tell my looking at it that they care. Not too much cheese either, just the perfect amount. We got the Canadian bacon with jalapeño. Nikel helped us out. He was professional and answered all our questions about the menu. Staff are all really good people. High ceilings, cool teal-colored theme, and bar seating.They serve bottled alcohol and wine.

Saw the owner cussing at a customer. Told her to "suck his d!@k, b!$&h" amongst some other choice words. Pizza tasted frozen. But my opinion is also influenced by the owner's behavior.

I'm very disappointed I had a horrible experience battling with the workers about a mistake on my small pizza. I was allergic to an ingredient and they were going back and forth about replacing it and apparently called the owner for permission and said I had to pay an extra $5 to remake it. I already worked all night tired and before they came up with that lousy solution they were going through a billion receipts for hours in front of me trying to see if they made it right instead of focusing on my allergic concern smh the pizza should have just been remade with no problem concerning there was a allergic issue. I was a regular not doing service with this business anymore!

Came to pick up an Uber order. At first I thought the place was closed because it was dim and there was no cashier. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was all this junk. if the front looks like this I can imagine what the kitchen looks like. If I had ordered and came to pick up and this is what I saw, I'd cancel immediately.

Food is super good and the crust is just right not to thick and not too thin! Love the 24in pizzas! i will be ordering this over and over again!

The food is solid (except for the pastas, just skip those) but I can't order delivery from here again until they fix their pricing issues. The price shown when adding to the cart and the price after adding to the cart is a $5 difference. Tried different toppings, etc. in case there was just a glitch with one option but it's the same across the board with every size of the cheese/make your own pizza option (and $1 difference more for the gourmet options.) Also, charging $3.99/topping for small and $1.99 for larger sizes makes no sense.

Pizza Amigos is a pizza shop located in the North Oakland area. A few months ago, my order got lost so I decided to try this place again. I thought it wasn't fair to leave a bad review when I didn't know who was really at fault. So on a Sunday afternoon, I flipped thru the Yelp reviews for Pizza Amigos. I noticed some saying to order thru the restaurant's own website. So, I went and looked over their website and compared it to their DoorDash(DD) listing. I noticed something rather odd, and I double checked it.....the menu prices on DoorDash are lower than Pizza Amigo's own website. So I'm guessing someone forgot to update the DD listing. Pizza Amigo charges a delivery fee with a $25 minimum. They offer specials, coupons, and 25% off online orders. But DoorDash gives it's DashPass members free delivery, $5 off a $20 order, and the prices are lower. I ordered a Medium Meat Deluxe Pizza and a order of wings (6-pcs) thru DD, and saved over $11 vs. the Pizza Amigo website. So how was the food? Medium Meat Deluxe Pizza, 12", $15.99, Grade (3/5): Regular Crust is standard. This pizza has all kinds of options, but I picked the basic combo meat pizza. The pizza is average at best. Lots of meat toppings, but not enough creamy cheese. Even after I reheated it in my oven, the cheese didn't become molten and gooey. Chicken Wings, 6-pcs, $8.99, Grade (4/5): Deep Fried Wings and little drums coated with garlic parmesan sauce. Super tasty snack. Served in a microwavable container. Overall, a 4-star order at a good price. Ordered Amigos Combo Climax Pizza 2 for 1 offer on UberEATS. Pizza came warm and fresh and speedy for Uber related services. Taste was slight above average, but acceptable. Would be nice if the 2 for 1 would let you choose other pizzas. Overall good deal for two same pizzas for hungry party or group.

Pizza was not cooked well. Chicken seemed undercooked or old. Made me nauseous and sick will never ever ever order anything from them again.

Look, I don't know what you are expecting from a place that is open until 4 AM. This is no Michelin-starred pizza, but it is honest, tasty enough to feel satisfied, and cheap enough that you can stuff your face with tasty snacks that don't taste like fast food burgers. The cilantro on my pizza was fresh, my jalapeño poppers were warm and crunchy, the pasta was homey, my garlic bread was garlicky and cheesy. What customer service do you want at 3 am, anyway? Order on doordash, and give whoever is awake for a minimum wage a break!

Ordered a beet and goat cheese salad. I hunted around with my fork for any tiny crumbs of goat cheese. They cheaped out hard on the main ingredients. It was all lettuce and cucumbers, with beets and goat cheese as a thin, scrimpy garnish.

We had a terrible experience with this place , Very RUDE people, we've been waiting for the pizza for 1 hour and a half , the lady that answered the phone kept hang up on us when we ask how long it is going to take , Then she passed the phone to a gentleman that said that he will call the police , just cause we tried to get an update on our order ? TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, you better make yourself a sandwich at home instead of trying order from this place !

Are these fresh ingredients added to frozen pizza? This crust is giving FROZEN! Often wonder I can never smell anything cooking coupled with the​ fact the service us lacking. It's ok in a pinch but would not buy if I absolutely don't have to​​​

Last night we ordered for pick up around 11:30pm. We ordered the largest pesto potato pizza along with the same size combination pizza with jalapenos. We also ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo pasta we were so hungry we ordered the largest serving that served 15 ppl. We ordered thru door dash and the delivery was pretty fast. Once we got our food we were so excited to eat. The combination pizza was very good and the pesto pizza was a pleasant surprise also very delicious. My only complaint would be that our pasta was penne pasta instead of the fettuccine pasta but the menu had described. Also the Alfredo sauce tasted a little Bland not too much flavor it tasted more like sour cream and mayonnaise kind of ranch sauce. The portion of the pasta was so generous. The menu said it would feed up to 15 people but I believe it could feed 20 to 25 people. It was my first time trying this place out and definitely would try it again. I'm glad that they were open so late.

We were casually perusing Uber Eats and noticed that this place was doing a two-for-one special for some of their dishes, so we decided to give it a try since... Why not? Ha-ha, the food definitely gives me the vibes that it is tailored toward people with hangovers. We Got the Cauliflower Amigos Hawaiana Pizza, Chicken Alfredo Pasta, and Onion Naan. I am not sure if this was because the crust was made of cauliflower (first time ordering this type of breading), but the pizza was quite thin and was a little skimpy on the toppings considering its cost. The jalapenos added a nice textural crunch and spicy kick, while the pineapples balanced out the meal with a little bit of sweetness. We did take advantage of the deal and ordered the two-for-one chicken alfredo pastas. The cost of the dish was affordable in relation to the amount of content in each container, and the pasta was cooked nicely - not too soft and not too al dente. However, there was a little too much sauce for my preference. I am also not sure if I missed this in their item description, but it was a surprise on how much ranch flavor came through when eating the pasta. Ha-ha, it felt like I was swimming in a pool of liquid ranch... I don't think we will be ordering from here again, but it can be worth the cost if you catch them when they are having a special.

First time trying Pizza Amigos. I ordered through DoorDash and had it delivered. I was surprised what a good pizza it was! I will definitely order it again! I ordered "meat deluxe pizza, medium" with "corn" crust, which I assume meant "cornmeal" crust. I don't think I received a cornmeal crust; but it was good anyway. The sausage had a delicious flavor, the salami was slightly crispy, like it had been under the broiler! I had requested the "garlicky sauce". Unfortunately; there is NO garlic flavor at all. Sadly, many restaurants today seem to be afraid to use REAL garlic. I was disappointed with the cheese bread. The menu listed it as "garlic bread topped with mozzarella cheese". It was chewy; and NO garlic flavor at all. It was not "garlic bread"; it was pizza dough. I won't order the cheese bread again. The Chicken Alfredo pasta was tasty; although the sauce does seem to have more of a "mayonnaise" flavor than "alfredo". I had asked for them to leave the broccoli off. It would have been even better with a few chopped green onions. I definitely will order the pasta and pizza again!

Get you some of this pizza, pasta, or even things like naan bread! I craved their pizza while I was in Seattle for a few years. Got it last night and it did NOT disappoint! Covered in delicious toppings. Options for gluten free and cauliflower crusts. Staff are always busy yet super friendly. Parking near here can be hit and miss. Not a place to hang and eat as owner is a bit disorganized with paperwork everywhere. Get this to go or delivered and seriously ponder why you haven't ordered here before!

I called to place a delivery order it took a while for the establishment to answer. The order taker only told me my total and never asked for my phone number or address .... I call back in asking to cancel my order and the man on the phone says next time you call you can't place an order. Funny customers get banned for cancelling an order. Great business practices. It's okay I like Namaste pizza 10x better I'll gladly give them my money.

We ordered an extra large half cheese half pepperoni pizza. It was pretty fast to arrive (40min after order) however it was room temperature when it arrived and the cheese had hardened into a waxy cheese-plate over the spotty sauce. The pizza had a frozen lava appearance where the cheese had frozen on the drive over after having slipped toward the center. I was able to pull it back into place weirdly enough, fit like a glove. The flavor was okay. A lot of grease. As the pizza was so cold it gave the grease nowhere to go, so that made the whole affair very slippery and messy while also leaving the crust chewy and dry. Not a pleasant mix of textures. The si,e was pretty big, like a large Little Cesar's pizza, only weighing about 60% what the fast food chain delivers for ~4x the price. The pepperoni was bland. Like a chewy greasy obstacle meant just to slow you down and make a mess as it often just jumped ship onto the plate/my shirt after the cheese was disturbed. It didn't really have any distinct flavor other than a hint of extra salt... All together this wasn't a terrible pie, it wasn't a very good one though. TL;DR: Not very good.

The first time I ordered here, I ordered a pizza. Really enjoyed it, so I decided to order from here again, but instead, order some pasta and dessert (through Uber Eats). They practically got my entire order wrong. Wrong choice drink and dessert, and their "alfredo" tastes like a combination of mayonnaise and ranch. It's definitely a hit or miss, but just save your time and money and head somewhere else.

This place was a saving grace because it was open very, very late and the gluten-free pizzas were happily available and made for delivery. As far as taste goes, my medium pepperoni pizza, warm and saucy, lacked that filling taste not because of its preparation but more due to the gluten-free thin crust. The dopamine release still occurred once that first slice went down, so you still get that warm feeling from your mouth to your stomach; yes, yes, yes. Mission accomplished. horrible. I moved into the building they're attached to recently. Was so excited to have a late night spot in my building, but I literally would take a little caesars or dominos over this trash any day. Cardboard crust, plastic-y cheese, scarce and generic toppings, over priced, rude owners that don't wear masks in their own store during a pandemic. Every time you go in the store they're loudly arguing with each other and it takes FOREVER for someone to come out and help you. I've ordered the boneless wings and they served them to me frozen in the middle. I've ordered pizzas 3 times--each time hoping it would be different, but I got diarrhea EVERY TIME. I thought it was me the first time--but the second and third time my husband ate too and we were both up all night shitting himself while our bodies tried to expel the poison this place serves. Did i mention it's overpriced? how do you charge $15 for a 10" cheese pizza when your 2 large single toppings are $24? Scammers, cheaters, and horrible business owners. I've seen the delivery truck that delivers their product and it is literally all processed, pre-packaged crap. If you care about your health and what you put inside your body, avoid this place at all costs.

Ordered a large 1 topping pizza from here by calling directly. Guy put me on hold so long after a while I assumed he forgot I was on hold (10+ mins). Frustrating but stuff happens. Called back and placed my order along with a couple cans of soda. It cost me $38+ dollars!!! I thought he said $28-something but he had a bit of an accent so I must've misheard him. That's crazy high for a pizza place of this quality. Not remotely worth it IMO. And on top of that, they got my order wrong! I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and got a half pepperoni, half cheese. $38 ($40 with tip) and I got gypped on half the toppings. The pizza was not bad. Crust was pretty thin. Thinner than I prefer. It was pretty greasy. It had a weird smell too. Almost like a skunky kind of smell. Maybe they use a lot of garlic I'm guessing. Unusual but it tasted ok. The reason I'm inclined to leave this review is I was flipping through Door Dash trying figure out what to eat for lunch and I saw this place and they had pricing that was way less than what I paid ordering from them directly. Seems like it should be the other way around, right??? And now having the feeling of being waaay overcharged. I will not be ordering form this place again. But if you do, order through Door Dash for a better deal.

This place is absolutely disgusting. It makes me wonder are the reviews that are good fakes. The crust literally taste like it was made out of cardboard has the same consistency as cardboard as well. I had a force feed myself one slice because I was so hungry. Do not order from here no matter how drunk or high you are. Gross

Gluten free pizza that's so delish. I got 2: the Lucifer and Garden. Both vegetarian. Both delicious. My favorite GF pizza so far. Their menu goes on for days. They are my neighborhood spot. I've been getting their regular crust pizza for years and love it. It's not fancy. But it's really good and cheaper than all the others. Amigos! Never change!

The pizza is so delicious and flavorful the Alfredo pastas are delicious and garlicky and it's even open late.

Ordered delivery from these folks a handful of times and spoke over the phone with them. Very pleasant to deal with! The cauliflower crust pizza is amazing! Highly recommend this place for anyone on Keto.
