The Best Gluten-Free Pizza in the Bay Area - Eater SF

"The four locations of this pizzeria (Mill Valley, San Jose, Lafayette, and Danville) take GF eaters seriously, with a separate gluten-free menu that lists several pies. They boast fancy toppings on a crust made by East Bay gluten-free bakery Mariposa." - Eater Staff

Good location, pizza is terrific, but not the best beer menu, though it's large. I like the Christmas decor during Advent. And, last time (during 2019 Advent) I had a great waitress.

I go here a lot, this place is amazing. The staff members are super friendly and they have tasty food. They serve specials Monday-Friday, it is a great deal since you get an appetizer and entrée for less than $20 dollars before 4PM Their Pizza crust is great, the pastas are amazing and their salads too. Great selection of beer, seasonal tap beers and a lot of wines.

very expensive for what you get. Reviews had me come in for the pizza which I thought would be outstanding but was average at best. Very limited menu. If you are looking for a stand-out experience, I would say keep shopping. This one isn't it. Nothing bad but just not what I would expect for the money spent. ($35 per person). Sorry, I hate to leave a less-than-glowing review but high-end prices in an average strip mall pizza joint just didn't wow me.

I have never had anything but beautiful and delicious pizzas from here. Tonight I had my first issue, the manager was responsive, helpful and kind. He quickly remedied a delivery drivers mistake and made it right. Fantastic food and dedicated staff makes this place my go-to.

We joined our friends for a brunch. It's open, lots of glass, on the loud side, nicely appointed - however, still very much cafe style. Right off the bat, service was excellent. Not over the top but adjusted to picky, non-answering kids without pressure. Some in our party ordered lunch while some ordered brunch. As you can see by my pics, the food was nicely presented. I ordered the beet salad - this is a hard one to get right but I have to say, it was one of the best I've had. Everyone else enjoyed their food too - the kids pizza was adult size and classic Italian style. People complain that it's expensive - sure, it's not cheap but it's also not over the top for what you get. Don't listen to the naysayers about this place... it's very good!

Pizza Antica has great food. I had tried the one in San Jose, and it was great. This was also great, although the menu is limited. I ordered a Margarita Pizza after a long day of hiking in the area. The location was beautiful, and they did well when it came to COVID-19. I ate the entire pizza, and it was very good, although the crust was a little burnt. The only thing I would change about the restaurant other than what was mentioned was a mandatory service charge of 20%, which seemed a little excessive.

Wow, that sucked! I'm not really about the one star review, but I guess it was bound to happen. Let's start with the good. The staff was helpful, attentive and really went above and beyond. It's not that I expect bad service, but it was a nice surprise. This was far from my first time here, but I can assure you it was my last. In the past there was never an issue with the service, but it was just great this evening. Now here's my problem, you can't eat great service. We had two small pizzas, a caesar salad and ice tea for a grand total of $52. I probably wouldn't be complaining if the salad's sole flavor wasn't garlic, or it it wasn't dozen tiny leaves. As far as the pizza goes, well that just sucked. There's no getting around it, the pizza was just awful. In the past things were kick ass. Maybe it was just an off night, but I'll never know, no plans to come back for another OVERPRICED meal that just didn't make cut.

It was okay, but not deserving of a return visit as far as we were concerned. Soup and salad was good, but the pizza wasn't. The thin crust pizza wasn't done. outside edge was ok, but the inside crust wasn't. Doughy-like the oven wasn't hot enough. Plus pretty cheap on the toppings. The entire meal wasn't worth what we paid. Maybe they were having a bad day, or something, we won't ever be going back.
