"When Pizza Baby East recently launched its $5 grab-n-go pizza slices Monday through Friday, so lunch got more interesting. The $5 slices are thin-crusted cheese, garlic white, or pepperoni pizzas, but for a few more bucks, try the thick, focaccia-like, rectangular Roman-style slices, which are not skimpy. This little shop, with an easygoing neighborhood feel, churns out fresh sourdough, cracks open chilled reds regularly, and really checks both the midday lunch and casual dinner boxes." - Kayleigh Ruller

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our server was attentive and friendly. The Italian sandwich was delicious, but the real surprise was the Russian-style Rosemary Chicken slice — the hot honey tied everything together in the best way. We even had a chance to chat with the co-owner, who was incredibly personable and passionate. You can tell they really care about what they do. Highly recommend — can’t wait to come back!

The pizzas at Pizza Baby are incredible! If you’re ordering a “slice,” just know it’s not your typical slice—it might not be obvious from the menu, but they’re totally worth it. Each one comes cut into two pieces, making them perfect for sharing and trying different pizzas. The ingredients are super fresh and high quality, which makes every bite amazing. The restaurant itself has a really cozy vibe inside, and the outdoor seating is adorable—great for a spring night. Just keep in mind that the indoor space is a bit tight, so if you’re going with a big group, the “West” location might be a better option since it’s more spacious. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

I really enjoyed stopping into the East location for lunch. We were the only people there at 11am for about 45 minutes Our waitress was very friendly. She gave us a lot of background info on the food, their offerings, and the location. Even showing us around the place a bit. Eventually when other people came in they mentioned a friend told them to ask for her. So, you get an idea of the stellar service. I also seen one of the owners come in during the visit which is nice to see during the day. Around 12-12:30 business started to pick up. The food was extremely flavorful. The garlic Roman style (Ricotta) was outstanding. The House was very good too. I would say this was the best “deep dish” style I’ve had in Charlotte. Going slices is recommended so you can try a couple things. They are cut into two halves. 1 half being enough for yourself if you order two of something. I would definitely come back and would recommend giving them a try.

Had some Roman Style Pizza in the Elizabeth Neighborhood of Charlotte at Pizza Baby East. They do Roman Style by the slice and 14” traditional round pizzas. Service was excellent and it was a very cool little restaurant. I thought $4 to add pepperoni to the slice is a little too expensive, so would not do that again, but definitely a cool place to check out! There is a parking lot across the street that offers free parking for 3 hours, so that was nice.

Gently some excellent pizza. From the roman style to the traditional, you can't go wrong with their all in house made pizzas. Bacon wrap dates were nice but a bit over cooked. Already planning a trip back.

Absolutely delicious, easily my new favorite pizza in Charlotte, took me back to my NYC days. The owner and the staff were all very attentive. Roman slices are next level, dough was thick but fluffy, highly recommended. We will be back soon!

We enjoyed the pies - we ordered the Queen Margherita w pepperoni & Rosemary chicken w hot honey. Unfortunately, they ran out of Roman style, meatballs, and wings during our dine in visit, which was a bummer because we were planning to get a slice of each of their option to try and appetizers. Service could have been better. It's a cool & quaint space. There was plenty of staff around to be attentive to patrons, but service didn't match vibe. Will try again eventually and re-rate.

This was *the* best slice of pizza I have ever had in my life and I will be dreaming about it every night until I come back. The service was excellent, food & drinks were INSANE and the atmosphere was very calm and chill on a Saturday night. We WILL be back :)
