I wanted to update an old review I did for Pizza Carousel to make an important point. The best salads in town are served up here. The vegetables and feta cheese are always fresh and generous in portion. Even the basic small salads that come with the lunch specials are fantastic. Also they aren't really that small. They are larger than what is considered average elsewhere. In this day of sneaky downsizing of portions that frustrates consumers like me, it is refreshing to get a salad served up that is so good and generous too. As for the pizza, it is good and the best deal when it comes to lunch specials, provided you get the special that includes a salad. We love bargains and usually eat here at lunchtime because it is such a good deal. When we bring the kids, they love it as much as we do too. The food is consistently very good, and served by efficient and friendly waitresses. The restaurant has been a fixture in Pine Ridge Plaza for years and we are long time customers, as they have earned our loyalty

The pizza from this place is amazing. We have pizza Friday every week and we eat here every other Friday. I can’t believe how it has been delicious every single time. The garlic knots are delicious as well. We get the pepperoni pizza every time btw. Every part of the pizza goes so well together and my family and I can’t get enough. The rest of the menu looks incredible too, there’s so many other options.

Delicious pizza and garlic bread! I also ordered spaghetti and meatballs to go and everything was so tasty and fresh! It’s been a long time since I’ve had such fresh food from a restaurant that tastes close to home made.

First and last time going to this place. Pizza was horrible ordered first soup tasted like pure tomatoes turned that in for a chicken soup that tasted like pure onion. I was so ready to leave. Do not recommend. One of my worst lunch ever!

Welcome home. Is it Olive Garden that says "when you're here, you're family"? If so, they should start thinking of a new slogan because Pizza Carousel has rightfully earned it. This is the place you can bring your whole family to and feel like you will be remembered, taken care of, and that you are wanted. My husband and I stopped in for the first time, not knowing what to expect. We were greeted with open arms, a big smile, and plenty of helpful suggestions. The tuna is delicious, the salad well topped, the pizza has a nice crust, and their sauce is one that would make your Nonna proud. We're excited to return and have a new date spot to add where we will be confident in having enjoyable service, food, and surroundings.

To start the atmosphere was dim but showed warmth not hollow. While it did take us a while to get seated during idle hours, the waitress who served us was fond and joyful. The appetizer garlic bread was too doughy. However the entree “supreme” pizza was superb, toppings played a quintessential role in bringing out its flavor. Greek salad was fresh but the tomato’s “columella” (core) was still far from ripe resulting in a spiky texture like fishbones. Overall, would highly recommend the pizza for people wanting to try quality pizza!

We went to Pizza Carousel for dinner last night. I had a hot Italian sub and my Jeff had a meatball/sausage parm sub. The subs were enormous and had a large amount of meat, cheese and other toppings on them. The garlic rolls were great. The manager “Gabby”, came over to greet us upon arrival and he offered us both a glass of wine later on with our meal. The server was very helpful and friendly. To be honest, it’s been awhile since I’ve eaten here. No specific reason why. But it was all around such a nice experience, we’ll definitely be back very soon. This restaurant has been around, in the same location, for 35 years and there’s a reason why! Among the many places to eat in Coral Springs/Parkland….Try it!!! This one is highly recommended!

Lunch special 2 slices and drink $7.99 is amazing deal. Huge NY style cut and tasty. Service was impeccable. Never left without drink and checked on us several times even though we just ordered pizza. Plenty of seating available and can accommodate larger parties. Excellent shopping in same plaza but will return even if not headed to other stores.

Were driving around Coral Springs aimlessly in search of a pizza joint that sells slices. We finally noticed the Pizza Carousel in the Pine Ridge Square with simple parking. DECOR: Traditional Italian STAFF: Kia was friendly and super chatty FOOD: Oversized slices of cheese pizza with a nice chared bubbled crispy crust. PRICE: $3.50 TASTE: Perfectly cooked, sweet tangy sauce, but needed more garlic. BATHROOM: Clean and basic UPS customers next door show receipt and receive 10% food bill at Pizza Carousel, which was a good marketing technique.

Food was good as usual 2 slices and drink for lunch Ambiance fine and service was lovely but what grossed me out was the filthy disgusting ceiling vents. I mean repulsive. The ceiling fans were moving so I have no idea if they were clean but once I see the black mold I was turned off Close for 1 day and do a deep clean

Great flavor on this pizza. The 3 proteins were great. Not too salty with a crisp crust. Service is always good and fast so no issues there. It's a family restaurant, always a pleasure here.

Ordered a well done pizza and loved the Italian decor especially the ceramic full size old Italian guy, which I took a picture with. The server was very friendly. The slices were crispy and large for only a few dollars each. The entire plaza is getting a face lift so don't get discouraged by the front decor. Try the pizza.

I ordered a large cheese pizza. What I got was a pizza which was mostly bread and sauce and very little cheese. My first clue should have been that when I walked into the restaurant, the staff had more people in the restaurant than the customers. This will be my second visit, my first and last. I would rather had paid more money to get a pizza I could tell people was one of the best I had ever eaten.

The pizza crust was good & not soggy in the middle of the pie. Unfortunately, they use a poor grade of sausage - just links, chopped into pieces. The Greek Salad was great though.

I came in with my daughter for whom I ordered the baked ziti. The options for baked ziti on their website's menu is listed as: -cheese -meat sauce -chicken -extra cheese So, I ordered the kid's baked ziti for my daughter- I did not say meat sauce, so it should have come out with just cheese. Unfortunately, meat sauce was ground throughout the sauce finely and my daughter upon finishing finally bit into a bigger chunk and realized there was meat, which obviously disgusted her. When I spoke with a female manager I asked for it to be taken off the check, she said that I should ask next time if I have any dietary preferences to which I responded, this is the FIRST ever place I've ordered baked ziti and it wasn't a vegetarian item & that should be disclosed upon ordering that there may be meat mixed throughout when ordering what is believed to come out as vegetarian. She rudely said "well not here," and started explaining she's been doing this for many years. The rudeness shown by the manager and the server (Maddy) was honestly shocking, as I was not rude about it, I just gave my suggestion that it should have been disclosed. I've worked in restaurants and customer service and their rudeness to me in front of my 9 year old daughter was upsetting to say the least. It would have been so much easier to just say "I apologize for her unpleasant experience, how can I help?" (Attached photo of baked ziti options from their menu)

Every food in this restaurant tasted like garbage. We also waited close to two hours for the order which was just two large pizzas and garlic bread. One of the pizzas we ordered was the supreme pizza. The supreme pizza had toppings that fell off too easily because the toppings were not cooked, it looked like they just put the toppings on after the pizza was done cooking. The cheese on the pizzas fell off too easily too. Last but not least, all of the pizzas we ordered tasted and smelled bad, really bad. The garlic bread was also really bad. How does a restaurant mess up garlic bread? You know a restaurant is really bad when they mess up on the garlic bread. We paid close to $100 for this garbage. Should've just went to the dumpster instead if I wanted garbage for free in less than two hours. I've had better pizzas that were frozen and from cheap Asian buffets. Even the people living in trailers can make better pizza and garlic bread than this garbage. I bet Elie Wiesel ate better food when he was captured. This restaurant is disgusting and below average at best.

I ordered a thin-crust pie with eggplant. There was barely any eggplant.Also the toppings were 2 inches from the crust. This is a thick crust and not what I ordered. Definitely the worst pie I ever order from them...

Obsessed with Pizza Carousel! I have been here twice now and can't wait to come back. First time I got a carry out order and second I sat there for lunch and everything about it is amazing. Their salad is incredible and it comes with all of the entrees. The amount of food you get is amazing and the food is just delicious. I've had their pizza, salad, chicken Marsala and chicken parm and would order them all again. Will definitely be eating here next time I'm in Coral Springs!

Average pizza at best. I Haven't ordered in quite a long time and I see the quality has gone way downhill. To be honest, I think I would've rather had a frozen tombstone pizza. After paying for the service fee and the delivery fee and the tip I could've bought 5 tombstone pizzas. Worst part about the pizza was the dough. Extremely chewy..... so bad that It began to hurt my jaw. The delivery person also just left it on the front porch and didn't even ring the door. $35 for a two topping, 16 inch pizza is way too much to pay for a mediocre pizza. Not coming back..

Ordered a sandwich. It was late in the evening about 8 o'clock. It was a simple sandwich, hot sandwich, but it was dry and terrible.

Was next door at the UPS store cogitating on dinner plans when the sign for Pizza Carousel drew me in with their 15% offer for UPS customers. Our order was takeout - the Wednesday family size spaghetti and meatballs special with a side of 12 garlic rolls for $13.99. We added two slices of spinach and broccoli pizza for good measure because we weren't sure the family meal would feed five mouths. Staff was very friendly, and it seems like a mom and pop business. The dining area is small but cozy looking - probably a great place for a casual date night. Food was prepared quickly. The spaghetti meal comes with four hefty meatballs and wound up feeding four, with some leftover spaghetti. The sauce was a little lackluster, but was easily flavored up with powdered garlic and crushed red pepper; the meatballs were good. I tasted a sliver of the pizza and while it wasn't the best I've ever had, it was good (they even flavored the spinach). With the proximity to home, I will definitely return.

We stopped in two weeks ago, for the first time, and SO happy we did! Amy was our server, and she bent over backwards, telling us all about Pizza Carousel and welcoming us in the sweetest possible way. We love her!!! About the pizza... we were blown away. The crust is so fresh, crispy and light. The sauce is the best pizza sauce we've had... so fresh and perfectly seasoned. I almost forgot their complimentary garlic rolls....soooo goooood and so much better than other pizza places. I wish I took pictures. The pasta fagiole was, like everything else, so FRESH and homemade tasting. Lastly, the salads are enormous and, again, incredibly FRESH!! Honestly, the quality and kindness at Pizza Carousel is head and shoulders above others in the area. They are lucky to have a sweetheart like Amy... she's a keeper!! We loved everything so much, we returned the following night.

This was our first visit and we were blown away by how wonderful the food AND the entire staff was. The owner is lovely, the chef is thoughtful and personable, and the wait staff is so kind and friendly. The food is cooked to perfection and is just the right amount of ingredients and flavor. We are in love with the pizza, the sauce, the pasta, the bread, the salad, the dessert! Not one complaint. Definitely come to this restaurant!! We will not only come back but we will bring and tell friends!

Located in the Bed n Bath shopping center on Wiles Rd. In Coral Springs, Pizza Carousel is always a good choice for a quick lunch. Their prices are so reasonable too! I had my standard two slices of pizza and a drink for $7.50. The slices come out quickly too! Service is always great! I highly recommend this venue.

Service was great. The pizza was tasty and not oily like others. Im in town for a month and will visit this place again to get my pizza fix. Well worth it IMO.

I went to get an eye exam in the same plaza. As i walk in I see a sign that says 35 years under a pizza place. Now I'm a guy from northern jersey who has a true and real appreciation for good Italian. I grew up trying new pizza spots throughout NJ, Manhattan, Brooklyn, queens, and even in new haven when visiting family in conn. Easily have over 150 Italian spots under my belt. So 35 years in the Italian food business, I'm expecting the fire. I can confidently say that (at least for lunch) this spot was exactly mediocre. Pizza: dough was delicious, the crust was thin and crispy and the sauce tasty. But imo there wasn't enough cheese and it wasn't done enough. Chicken parm: just an avg parm. Sauce was delicious. Not enough cheese. Not done enough. I will go back, but only if I'm getting my eyes checked.

If you're in Coral Springs looking for a solid not so greasy pizza, this is a good place. Gives a really mom-pop vibe. I ordered through yelp and my order was ready in about 10 minutes. Solid lunch for $8 with a drink. I love how organized my pepperoni and my mushrooms were okay(I prefer fresh). But it's all good! This is a new go to for me. Located on Wiles rd

Their George's pizza and regular pie is amazing. They have a Monday 1399 special for a large cheese pie. Absolutely delicious.

Never come to this place I have been here since 3pm it is not 3:47pm. I ordered a simple lunch baked ziti and a cannoli. The cannoli was 10$ for 1 cannoli and I said take it off the bill. The first round of food I got was ravioli. I did not order ravioli and the waitress has the audacity to say "oh you didn't like it?" And I said "ma'am this is not what I ordered". Takes the plate back. 20 minutes later sends out plain pasta with red sauce. Again not what I ordered. The waitress had the audacity to say "oh the person that I told to make the ziti refused to make it and it's been hectic back in the kitchen" there are 3 people here including me. I told her just give me 2 slices of pizza and I'll be on my way. Such terrible service. This is my first and last time at this establishment.

3.5 stars. I have been meaning to try this restaurant for awhile now. The service is great -- the young servers are friendly and attentive. There is plenty of parking available. The food is just mediocre. The Pasta Fagioli soup was great, although it was more of a tomato soup with pasta and vegetables. The garlic bread was yummy. The pizza had a good crunch to it, but the sauce was too sweet -- the same goes for the sauce on the pasta. The Chicken Marsala tasted fine, but it was swimming in oil. I would come back to get the soup again, but that is about it.

I've lived near pizza carousel for 3 years but never went before. A trip to Marshall's changed that. While we were in the area we figured we'd stop in for dinner and I'm so glad we did! The staff are all insanely friendly and they all work together to make sure you have a great experience. I thought the pizza would be your basic pizza, but the crust and veggies were so fresh! I can see why they've been in business for over 35 years! The pasta with garlic sauce and garlic rolls were the highlight for me. Definitely a must-have if you come. Service was a tad slow on drink refills but we were enjoying the meal so much we honestly didn't even mind. Will certainly be back for more pasta and white pizza!!

Since moving from the NYC metro area, I have been searching for a good pizza spot. I gave Pizza Carousel a chance and this is what I found: 1. The place is not very clean. Windows, tables & floors could be much cleaner. Tables are broken and jerry-rigged to stay standing. 2. The servers are really nice and seem very willing to make you happy. 3. I ordered a large pizza to go w/ 1/2 mushrooms ($16.99) but the mushrooms were the canned variety and were not very good. The crust was airy and crunchy. The sauce was nondescript. The cheese was regular. overall I give this pizza a 4 of 10 4. Also, I ordered an Eggplant Marinara appetizer ($10.99). It was mostly soggy breadcrumbs with razor-thin almost undetectable and bland soggy eggplant. Couldn't taste the eggplant. I give this a 1 of 10. 5: I paid $30 + for these two inferior food items. Needless to say, I should have cooked myself which was our original plan for the evening. It hurts me to just throw money away like that. We literally threw it all away in the trash. I just want to say, We really wanted this food to be good because the staff seemed nice and we are searching for a quality go-to pizza restaurant but they really need to work on the basics. Maybe they just had a bad day which is possible but that does not excuse the dirty place. NOTE: I think that the two young ladies that were serving were really nice.

This is a very nice cozy place with good food and service , the place is very clean. Can't wait to have some of that delicious food again.

My friends brought me here and I'm so happy they did. The service and the food was amazing! They have new weekday specials as well. Large cheese pizza for $12.99, can't beat that! And they give the BEST bread too ‍

I have lived in Coral Springs for 2 years and I had never been here before! Today my son and I decided to have some pizza and it was great. We had a large cheese pizza. We also tried their almond cake which was delicious. The owner and some of his staff introduced himself to us. The service was 10/10. Highly recommend.

Pizza Carousel has been here a very long time. I've been coming here at least 20 years. I love everything on the menu except the pizza. The tuna on a pita is OUTRAGEOUS. If you have nothing else here, get the tuna on a pita. 5 YUMMIES!!!! The subs, pasta dishes, appetizers and everything else is excellent. I've tried everything and I have never been disappointed. The service is great and I feel like I'm going to my friends house. That's how nice they treat you. About the pizza. I have to tell you, the pizza is not bad, it's just okay. I think of myself as a pizza connoisseur and I am very, very, very picky. Thus, I wouldn't come here for pizza. My issues are the pizza is to doughy (not undercooked, just to much bread), the sauce is ehh and the cheese is good. I prefer a thin crust and a slightly sweet sauce. Thus, most people will like their pizza. So don't go by me. Overall, the prices are reasonable. Go here and get the tuna pita, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy my friends enjoy!

I'm heading out of town tomorrow, and my family wanted something cheap and easy. Not looking to venture to far, I went to visit the classic Pizza Carousel in Coral Springs! Going in today, there was a good amount of seating inside. We ordered 1 medium greek salad and a large pizza half cheese and other half meatball & mushroom well done and thin. Shifting right into this review, the meal was very tasty! I found the salad possessed fresh chopped veggies, and the creamy italian dressing complemented the salad very well! The pizza was crispy as requested, saucy underneath, and had beautiful bubbly cheese present on top! Moreover, the server tonight was friendly and attentive! Overall, good job tonight on both service and the food!

Called not for anything for free just to let them know. Was called a liar and hung up on me. Never again

I've ordered pizza from this place several times and everyone the pizza has been consistently good. Today, my wife and I went in for lunch and enjoyed some delicious pizza and had amazing service and conversation with the owners. They are very sweet and accommodating. While there we also tried their tuna, and let me tell you it was delicious!! The restaurant was also super clean.

Pizza always consistently good whenever we come! I personally love the buffalo chicken pizza. Friendly staff and service is always quick

If you're looking for a NY style pizza this restaurant is a most excellent choice. This is the best I've found in 30 years in Florida, an absolute must-try especially if you live in the Coral Springs area. This is NY style, with fresh high quality cheese, sauce, and crust all coming together in a healthy, not greasy, way. I normally get it delivered, but the times I've eaten the pizza there, everything else I saw being served looked fresh, healthy, and made with care in the open kitchen. Highly recommend.

I'm ashamed of myself. Live in Coral Springs for 31 years and never tried this place until today. Pizza is excellent. Reminds me of the old country (Brooklyn).

I'm embarrassed to admit that we've lived practically around the corner from this gem for almost 4 years and hadn't yet been in. A craving for chicken parm led me and my husband to Pizza Carousel tonight, and it was the best decision we could have made. Our server Nicole was an absolute pleasure and her friendly and accommodating demeanor alone will bring us back. The food was delicious; garlic pita -amazing... my hubby had a "white salad" of lettuce and mozz (because he doesn't appreciate the wonderful world of veggies) and I had the house salad with feta. Nicole brought a complementary scoop of their famous tuna. I'm not a fan of restaurant tuna salad because it's usually wet and has too much mayo. Not so at PC and for that reason I'll be back for lunch this week. We also split a slice and now know where we'll be ordering pizza from in the future. He had the chicken parm (baked, not fried) and I had spaghetti with broccoli, garlic oil and cheese. Delicious and an enormous portion! Had to bring home leftovers. The owners ( both father and son) came over to welcome us and told us they are celebrating 35 years in business. They are a family run business and obviously care about their customers. Just when I thought I was stuffed, they brought over a sampling of their eggplant cutlets (also baked) and now I'm hooked. If you know, you clearly know, and if you don't then I highly suggest you go check them out. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Good food tune melt is huge and tasty, pizza are good too service was good ambience good

Delish!!!! I got Bob's special meatballs. It's an appetizer of meatballs, cheese, onions and garlic. It's two HUGE meatballs and more than enough for a meal. The pizza was crispy and wonderful. The calzone was HHHUUUGGGEEEE!!! The sauce, the heart of any Italian restaurant was delicious as well. We didn't get it, but they have whole wheat pizza crust and a low carb menu. The service was fast and friendly. This is our first time here, but won't be our last.

First time trying this place. We ordered a simple large cheese pizza. Have to say the pizza was very good and the crust was nice and crispy.

It's simple and cost nothing to be nice and genuine, the customer service here was Impeccable. 10/10. I've lived in Coral Springs all my life and this was my first time coming here and I was HIGHLY impressed and pleased. The food was great, and vibe was great, the energy was positive. HIGHLY recommend.

Love their pizza! But they need to be consistent with their soup sizes for takeout. I have gotten recently a large container enough for two or three servings. Then when I call the next time they say they don't have any other size other than small. What's up? Don't want to have to go to PG across the street to get my large soup for the family. Thanks

Great local Italian restaurant that's family owned and has been in Coral springs for 35 years now- Congrats! Very tasty food and our go to place for delicious NY style pizza.

They are awesome! You are treated like family and the food is always fantastic! Their George pizza is a classic! We look forward to meeting there with family all the time. Thank you for making it special every time. Don't forget the Cappuccino!

We are always pleased with our order from Pizza Carousel! We have to commended Chef Alberto for his excellent attention to detail in all of the food items he cooks! Always courteous & professional in all our orders, we highly recommend this restaurant!

This is a little pizza shop in a strip mall. When you walk in you get the family owned feeing and the smell of fresh pizza being made hits you at the door. The staff was very nice. We sat down and were served immediately. Ordered a slice of cheese pizza for my daughter I i got Baked Ziti and my wife got a calzone with cheese and pepperoni and we got some garlic rolls as appetizers. The garlic rolls aren't really rolls as much as they are bites but never the less we're delicious. They had minced garlic on top to give it that extra garlic taste. The baked ziti was very good smothered in cheese and meat sauce. The pizza was also good you can te it was made fresh. Best part was the sauce it had a nice sweet taste to it. Now the calzone. This thing was huge and it was the small! Stuffed with cheese and pepperoni when you pull it apart you can see the cheese oozing out and stretch. Definitely will be coming back
