A very cute little place. The variety of good. We ordered 3 custom pizzas. One with a regular crust, another work a cauliflower crust and one with a chicken crust. All pizzas were made to order. The crusts kept together very well but I unfortunately felt like the sauce (even when all the toppings) seemed like it wasn't as flavorful. Overall though the other was exactly what we requested and the pizzas were made well...I just wish it had more taste

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Must have!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pizza Cat is a hidden gem for anyone who loves delicious, creative, and affordable pizza. This was our first visit, and we were impressed by the variety of funky options with fun names, as well as the ability to build your own. We ordered the Fetaterranean, Smelly Cat, Corktown Deluxe, and Bricktown Veggie—all of which were fantastic. The thin, crispy crust had the perfect crunch, and the sauce and cheese were absolutely on point. Each pizza had bold flavors and fresh toppings that made every bite enjoyable. If you’re looking for a unique and tasty pizza spot without breaking the bank, Pizza Cat is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!

Google
The level of disappointment over this pizza is astronomic. The pictures looked amazing and I was excited to try it from other reviews. Now I’m left here stuck at work and hungry, wondering how I got stuck with this tiny burnt mess. Absolute waste of money.

KEEP PIZZA WIERD!!! My kiddos loved the fun pizza options. They even have a keto pizza perfect for those who need to eat low sugar.

Google
First place my fiancé and I ate at in Toledo (which was recommended by our cable guy) and we were not disappointed! The pizza was fantastic, the wilds pulled right off the bone (the Franks buffalo sauce was scrumptious), and if you like garlic cheesy bread, you'd likely enjoy theirs. We'll definitely be back again to enjoy some more, this time we'll try one of their "more weird" options!

Google
Great "Variety Pizza Place" unlike any other. Beware they do tend to default on baking the pizza a little burnt, but if you ask for "lightly baked" you'll avoid that. They do listen to special instructions like "light sauce OT" if you don't like your pizza too saucy! Workers are very nice and the customization is what I love about this place!

Google
I got the North end brisket pizza from here. It is very good.

Google
Delicious pizza! Little expensive for the size of pizza you get. A large pizza is more like a medium. Tasty sauce, crust cooked to perfection. Will definitely get again! Highly recommend trying.

Yelp
So we are from Detroit. And pizza snobs. Came to Yelp to find a pizza joint to grab a bite after the Josh Johnson show (which was fantastic). Ordered the Slick Wiilys. Pizza with pickles hamburger mustard mayo tomato sauce and lots of cheese on a great crispy thin crust. Fabulous! No john so we walked to Burger King next door. Ate outside at the picnic table and listened and watched the show on Monroe on this beautiful Saturday night. Slumming never felt or tasted this good! Wonderful time. Five stars. Can't wait to try the one in Madison Heights, MI

Yelp
Just not above average. I ordered here at least 4 times before leaving a review. I have done pick up, online on their site and doordash. The worst experience was pick up. I made the mistake of ordering the strawberry cupcake thing dessert. Go to pick up. No dessert. I had to inquire why no dessert. Oh we are out. Do u want to try xyz? No sir. So do u want ur money back? Well yeah. Acted like it was a chore. That charleston pizza with the cheddar cheese made it forgivable. Ordered next time a pizza n sausage. Epic fail. Sat in the fridge for 5 days. Just ordered the charleston again sub some spicy pizza sauce. It looks nothing like the first Charleston. Tastes ok but nothing special. Check my pics. The parking lot is full of pot holes so be careful and very tight parking. For $20 for a medium pizza it should be darn good to compete with the million pizza places we have here. I will be heading back to village idiot. Just better bang for ur buck n tastes the same every time

Yelp
If you like thin crust pizza or have dietary restrictions... this place is for you. Lots of special diet offerings...Keto crust made from chicken, cauliflower crusts, and vegan cheeses. I'm more of a detroit style pizza fan, but as far as thin crust goes it's some of the best in Toledo. There are a lot of specialty pizzas to choose from. I've been trying one each time I order. Tonight was bbq brisket. It's a top seller, and as much as I love brisket this pizza wasn't it for me. There was a lot of sauce, but not much meat. It needs some onions or some additional toppings. A scant amount of brisket and just bbq sauce and cheese leaves it feeling unfinished. I ended up throwing some red onion and banana peppers on top to jazz it up.

Yelp
They're definitely keeping pizza weird... in a flavorful way! I can't believe I've breezed past them for two years without giving them a shot until a friend of mine shared a slice of their Goodfellas pizza with me (from Pizza Cat.) I'm hooked! They also have vegetarian options. The ambiance and architecture of the building is cool! Service is good but, I wish there was an online ordering option besides a third party food service delivery option.

Yelp
I was looking for a pizza joint that had vegan options and was relatively local to our hotel on a recent trip to Toledo, Ohio. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anywhere walkable, so we decided to stop at Pizza Cat on our way back from trailing/birding. A couple things, I didn't realize this was a small counter front location, offering take out only. I wanted to eat in, but that's on me I should have reviewed the website or other reviews more thoroughly. We got there looked over the menu quickly and ordered. There was a vegan pizza listed the NO THC-V+GF. I went to order that and saw it came with a Carolina BBQ sauce on the crust as opposed to a marinara. It also came with spinach, Daiya cheese, red onion, and artichoke on a hemp crust. I asked to swap the BBQ for some marinara. No issues ordering, staff was pleasant, the price was a tad high for individual sized pizzas, but that comes with traveling so oh well. About 20-25 minutes goes by and our pies are done. We head back to our hotel in the downtown area and up to the room to eat. I was excited, but soon brought back down to earth. It was a touch cold for just getting it driving less than 10 minutes and consuming it within 15 minutes. Not sure how Uber Eats or other delivery services account for this. Next it was rather small. The pieces were about the length of my index finger. This was in relation to crust the pie came on, hemp, as my husbands "build your own pie" choose the medium thin pan crust and it was much bigger. These were details I should have paid closer attention to as I did not need a hemp crust. I can't even say I thought the crust was good it was ok. But the regular crust is vegan too so I should have just built my own as well. As far as the toppings they were all chopped into tiny pieces. No discernable tastes to it besides the cheese, sauce, and mediocre crust. I do like the name and motto, Pizza Cat, Keep Pizza Weird. But if I went back, I would be building my own pie, with vegan options.

Yelp
Buttery, tasty awesomeness. Not only is the pizza delicious but the branding is on point and my kids always want it.well done

Yelp
The pizza was decent. Heavy on cheese. Good flavor crust. They don't have a place to eat there. The guy who checked us out was nice. I wish we could have eaten there. They were smaller than I thought, but that's on me bc they give you the actual inch, I just thought the regular size would be bigger and didn't pay attention. They have a lot of variety. I'm excited to return to try more.

Yelp
Pizza Cat was the first delicious vegan pizza that my two vegans sons and I had when we went Vegan four years ago. They were teens at the time and we tried many different pizzas and places before finding a vegan cheese that we loved. I recommend Pizza Car for every new vegan.

Jim M.

Yelp
McCord Rd located: good pizza but skimpy on the sauce. like hardly any sauce. They have a great variety of specialty pizzas.

Yelp
I have driven by this pizza place for years and initially thought it was sketchy and odd however I noticed it seems to be fairly busy. So I finally decided to try them out. I did the app stuff and ordered fairly easily. ( and enrolled in their perks)I tried a cauliflower crust and its was very good! My husband had a regular crust and enjoyed it as well. Quite the variety of choices for crusts and fun pizzas to order. Definitely different from the other pizza places in town. The employee was very friendly. Also the pizza points perks is nice I already have $10 from 1 order to use on another.

Yelp
MY FAVORITE PIZZA IN TOLEDO GRIPPING SOME CHICKEN AMAZINGGGGGG! Clean nicely painted inside. And fast service I would call ahead to order and some of the best fall off the bone chicken wings! 10/10 I do recommend

Luke M.

Yelp
I ordered pizza went in the other night to pick it up had to wait for order because it wasn't ready. The worst part is when I opened the door there was a strong smell marijuana needless to say I will not be back. The pizza was good but way overpriced for the size.
google avatar

Justin T.

Yelp
Parmesan overload, grease trap, burnt crust. We always wait till the weekend to have pizza as a family. This wait was for naught. We got a pizza and 2 cheesy breadsticks. Big let down.
google avatar

T G.

Yelp
Don't miss this pizza place if you're in Toledo! We bumped into it while visiting and now we make sure to always stop in. Don't forget to place an order for the cheese bread too

Kristin F.

Yelp
Pizza is good but too bad it takes so long to get an order . Waited 30 min past the time they said my two little pizzas would be ready. Maybe why the other location closed ?

Yelp
We heard about this place and decided to give it a try while in the area and glad we did. My wife's gluten free veggie pie rises to the top of the pack for gf crusts. Thin and crispy and didn't sag under the weight of toppings! The toppings were fresh and the sauce was just right. I had a made to order on non-gf crust and it too was amazing from the first bite to the last finger lick. Damn good pies. Only issue would be it's a 4.5 hour drive from the Chicago area if a craving hits. It's carry out only and they recommend a place to enjoy being we weren't from the area. Toledo has a very nice free botanical garden that goes pairs well Pizza Cat pies.

Yelp
I want to like Pizza Cat a lot more than I do...their toppings are awesome! The premade selections are creative and interesting. They have so many ingredients and they understand how to combine flavors. Unfortunately the crust is just ho hum. It detracts from the great stuff going on on top of the crust. I've tried both the regular and the cauliflower crusts. Both are boring. For a cauliflower crust, this one isn't bad, but it's also mostly rice flour and not seasoned much, if at all so...still boring. The location is...odd. They are to-go/ takeout only, altho they do have a table outside without any shade. Unfortunately this means I'm never going to get to eat a fully fresh Pizza Cat pizza because they're 20 minutes from my house. That might be a factor in my only-okay opinion of their pizza. When they get busy, they get a little bogged down, so it can take a while. Staff was friendly and efficient. Prices are decent, quality of ingredients are good, and I love their whole aesthetic, but the crust could use some work. I'm interested to try their keto one someday, but I'm not holding my breath, as it will also be a premade crust and most premade keto chicken based products are pretty sketch.

Andrea L.

Yelp
Absolutely awful. I order a veggie with vegan cheese and marinara sauce. My pizza was white. Can you say "a little pizza with my cheese"? Entirely too much. I tasted nothing else. An original crust option would be great, some of us like crust. And, they had the nerve to leave off my feta. Must have thought I meant extra cheese instead of feta cheese.
google avatar

Kelsey S.

Yelp
Love the crazy flavors but it's always so good! I love that's it's slightly overcooked on the edges. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Kenny S.

Yelp
Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. I live in Texas and bring all of my Ohio family here to try it when I come into town. They all become regulars afterwards.
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
Just ordered through Uber eats. For the most part got what we ordered on time. My pizza was missing a topping (mushrooms) and had a topping sauce added that was not requested. I can't complain it was still delicious but not what I ordered. Their pizza is seriously the best just not accurate.
google avatar

Ree T.

Yelp
This review is not based on the pizza. It's based strictly on customer service. I ordered my pizza through messenger. I received a confirmation and the total. I arrived to get the pizza. When I arrived exactly 45 minutes after placing my order, the credit card machine was down, which didn't impact me I thought as I was paying with cash. The guy asked me what my name was. I told him. He went to check and then said, it will be at least another 45 minutes but I don't think you should wait. SMH. Horrible. I get he was frustrated, but really?

Yelp
Showed up before noon for Tuesday lunch and went a la tradicional with the personal pepperoni. Love the little grease cups, mucho flavor. Came out piping hot and I made quick work of it - the pie was delicious. Wish I could go back tomorrow!

Yelp
The very best vegan pizza I've ever had in my life. Absolutely exquisite! No exaggeration. The Pizza Cat is a true alchemist with his ingredients in the kitchen. The consistency, the flavor profile, the balance and customizable options are Grade A. Highest compliments from both my husband and myself to your master chefs!

Yelp
Great pizza, friendly people, and creative topping combos. Try something different--you'll find a new favorite!

Yelp
One of my favorite local pizza spots. so many tasty pies, my fav is the "Isosceles Kramer" (no olives :p) There is no dining area, unless you count a few picnic tables out front. So you gotta eat it elsewhere. Not a big deal to me though. Usually their staff is super awesome (it had been... not so awesome in the past) But they are becoming my favorite pizza joint. Always on point with wait times too! Definitely worth a try. Oh they also have gluten-free and vegan options, if you're into that.
google avatar

Barbara A.

Yelp
This is a takeout place, but it does have an outdoor table. But, the pizza was awesome! I have tried pizza all over the eastern U.S. and this is one of the best! The seafood pizza is great and this is from a gulf coast native! Service was great, and very friendly.

Yelp
This is excellent TOLEDO STYLE pizza. If you look at the pizza pix, it's apparent that this pizza is very similar to Gino's (and Amie's, and Mancino's south, and Gino's Italian Delights, etc); like I said above, this is TOLEDO STYLE pizza. And, I'll say this: with respect to the TOLEDO STYLE soft-and-medium-thick crust, and, with respect to the TOLEDO STYLE caramelized cheese at the periphery of the pie, it's an excellent pizza. However, the homemade sauce...well, let's just say that the sauce was a little pauce. Pizza Cat's pies would be much better if they had a little more sauce. Also, PC's sauce isn't as sweet as that of the brands mentioned above. Now for some, the lack of sweetness might be an asset, but personally, I've always liked the sweeter TOLEDO STYLE sauce. So, Pizza Cat's product is, in my opinion, pretty much perfect. Hell, if this place ever gets a phone line so I can request extra sauce prior to picking up my pie, they'll earn that fifth star. The service was fast and friendly, and the location is pretty convenient. Pizza Cat, is located in The Colony (or more accurately, it's located in what used to be The Colony, before ProMedica trashed the neighborhood...I guess moving their headquarters downtown kind of makes up for it). Five stars! #TOLEDOSTYLE

Yelp
2.7/5.0 - was pumped to try this joint, heard good things. Was underwhelmed. It's not bad pizza, but I found it to be pretty bland and not worth the hype. Amazing mid century/atomic look and vibe to the restaurant. Employees seemed annoyed n pissed whist taking a phone order for one pepperoni pizza for pick up.

Yelp
Are you in the mood for something fast and cheap? Keep driving. Are you in the mood for a perfect crust, with the long-tested Neapolitan blend of sauce and buffalo mozzarella? Once again, keep driving. However, if you want to mix it up, if you want to see what pizza might be, this place is the stop for you. I found this place on the way home from the hospital, and it was a beautiful mistake, an utter revelation. Firstly, there are so many vegetarian options. SO MANY. We are used to things being a festival of slaughtered animals, and then a few sparse crumbs left over that might have some canned mushrooms and maybe a sun dried tomato. Today? Wu-Tang Veggie and SoCalMexiTarian! SO GOOD. Who'd have known that a light dusting of Nacho Cheese Doritos on a pizza could take it up several notches. Pineapple, Jalapeno, mushrooms, and a bunch of other veggies? Yes! If I had a magic wand, I'd have wanted the crust cooked a little more, but I'm just digging in and talking about perfection. This place is not working towards perfection, it's based on many iterations. Let's see what amazing MIGHT be. Let's tinker with what MIGHT be great. Throw it on some dough, and take a bite. Support local. Always!

Yelp
Great place, good pizza, ok staff the prices are ok.... I don't know why yelp makes you have a minimum work count.
google avatar

Yelp
I don't know what there doing in that kitchen but hands down they have the best pizza I have ever tasted in my life!!!

Yelp
This was one of the best pizza spots I have tried in a very long time I have been looking for a good one and I found one it's Gino's wife and I have to say if you haven't already tried this pizza then you should get up and go try it right now it's so amazing

Cathy R.

Yelp
This place has an amazing north end brisket pizza and so many unique options to choose from. Im happy to have supported a local business! I will definitely be returning to try the many different options. The service was fast and the man working was very kind. The atmosphere was one of a kind (in a good way)

Sydney S.

Yelp
I love them and I wish they delivered I think they would get a lot more business if they did
google avatar

Alex Z.

Yelp
If you love Toledo style pizza you'll love this place. For me it's not my favorite so this place was just average for me. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet sauce usually so I may be a little biased. I'll go back when others want to order from there, or else I'll go with more favorable options.
google avatar

Kathy O.

Yelp
If I could give 20 stars I would. This is such a cool small town, neighborhood place. Food was AWESOME. As is the Cat that owns it. Take my word for it, give Pizza Cat a try and you will be so happy. They deliver lots of places. PATRONIZE LOCAL SUPPORT YOUR PEEPS I NEED THIS IN DENVER MAYBE A PIZZA KITTEN?

Yelp
Love this place! I came in based on yelp reviews, and I was not disappointed. I'm currently doing keto so I was thrilled to see that they had a keto pizza option, plus a variety of crusts, including cauliflower. I went with the cauliflower crust + 3 toppings and ranch. My total came up to $15. Since it was totally customizable, I tried not to cringe at the price. I ate most of it in one sitting, because it was so good! The cauliflower crust tasted just like normal dough to me. Overall, I loved the pizza and was glad to see that the service was friendly and quick. I must say that I was a tad bit disappointed that they didn't have a public restroom, especially since they have a waiting area.

Bernard C.

Yelp
Good pizza and convenient location! Supreme pizza was the best with pepperoni coming in a close second!

Yelp
Soooo delicious! We ordered 6 of the cute 9 in size I had to try the dorito and hot cheetohs toppings...I like the dorito one better! So thrilled this pizza place exists...we just moved to Toledo and I finally feel like I found a pizza place I'm really excited about!!! Thank you
google avatar

Robert F.

Yelp
Toledo has another legit pizza restaurant. Tried the 12 inch regular. Great crust with an extra crispy edge. Generous toppings. The extra cheese was really extra cheese. Perfectly cooked. Don't miss this little gem.

Yelp
What I ordered: 63. Charleston Chicken (- the Spicy) $5 Cheesy Garlic Sticks Ordered through Facebook Messenger... And got a Super Fast Response! I'm going Back! I've only been back in Toledo for a short time. I was told to try Pizza Cat, I was like "Is the Pizza better than, those other guys?" I was advised go try the Pizza it's Good. I must say, it's Darn Good and I think that basil was on my Cheesy Sticks? But I'm not sure, however they had a different taste, that I've never had on Cheesy Sticks before. I Love the Variety of Pizza and the Different Sauces for the Chicken. The Customer Service was nice... "Pizza Cat it is"
google avatar

Yelp
Pizza cat has a little promotion where you can take pictures of the food and if they are good enough they will use it on there page, and give a discount on future orders. I tried.... I swear I tried, but my family kept pushing me out of the way to get to the pizza I couldn't take a really good one. This pizza is some of the BEST I've had in Toledo. I've been traveling to NYC a couple times a month for the last few years and I can say it's as good as any I've had their as well. I ordered the Wise Guys and North End Brisket. Both were great, but that Brisket pizza was some of the best I've ever had. I was surprised that they actually delivered to Point Place..... for a little fee, however it arrived pretty quickly and everything was hot. My nephew, who is about pizza'd out, ordered the Carolina Boom chicken wings..... He LOVED them and I sneaked one out of the box and I had confirm they were delicious. In closing.... FANTASTIC. I will order from here again...

Jeremy C.

Yelp
Weird pizzas are the thing to get here - avoid basic ones like "pepperoni and cheese". The Goodfellas is a surefire winner! The cheese bread is heavily seasoned and quite good. Lots of crust/sauce options, plenty of vegetarian/vegan friendly fare or restricted diet. Pizzas are a max size of 12 inches, this isn't the place to order for a large party. Can be difficult to get anyone to answer the phone, place your order online (that's the reason I knocked a star off).

Ben M.

Yelp
Great tasting pizza (we had the Fetaterranean and an all cheese)! The cheese bread portion was a bit small for the $ though

King A.

Yelp
Best Pizza Place hands down in Metro Detroit. Waiting Services is great, Jaila is one of the best customer service young ladies that I have ever in countered. Bar tending service was mad real, Hasan is such a great experience of a bar tender. He was able to create my at home concoction of cocktail; nearly as better than myself.
google avatar

K C.

Yelp
I had the gluten-free crust, with the zesty garlic sauce; toppings include the following: pineapples, ground beef, Kalamata olives, and artichoke; it was bomb! And I'm pretty sure he added buffalo sauce, which I would not feel inclined to add; but I'm glad h see did! If you want gourmet pizza w/o the restaurant cost, this is the place!

Tony S.

Yelp
If I would like a large thin crust pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms what neighborhood do I order rom your convoluted menu?
google avatar

Tamara S.

Yelp
I came across this place out of the blue. Reading the reviews are kind of funny and they made me want to stop by and try. I don't think they are trying to copy Gino's. I think they knew they could improve on some things their way. I really enjoyed the West Side Sicillian. The sauce is only slightly sweet but also has a savory tang to it. It tastes like it was freshly made. The crust was great and not at all soggy. It held the toppings perfectly because it wasn't greasy. The service was top notch and it was done FAST. It took me longer to drive there and it was perfectly cooked. I will be coming back.
