Don’t Miss The Formidable Restaurants of Haddonfield, New Jersey

"Arnab Maitra has spent a lot of his life dealing with pizza, from delivering it in his younger days to learning to perfect it under the tutelage of chef Marc Vetri at Osteria. The results are clear at Pizza Crime, where chewy, wood-fired dough sings beneath simple margherita toppings or bolder fig and Gorgonzola on the Fig-Jawn pie. It’s worth multiple trips just to try every combo." - Kae Lani Palmisano

Wow this pizza is amazing from the fresh and well balanced ingredients to the amazing crust and sauce. I couldn’t get enough of it. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the calzone and other pizza options. I got the pepperoni and the mushroom one and wow both options were great.

Look just order their pizza. They aren’t rated #1 for no reason. When in the mood for pizza, which is everyday… I know to order my favorite Pepper Jawny with hot honey.

My wife heard great things about this place, so we went and tried 3 of their pizzas. Don't believe the hype. 1) Too expensive...$15 per 12" pie! 2) All 3 were mostly burnt underneath. 3) Simply, just not good pizza. The service was great, and it is BYOB, so there was that. Will not return, unfortunately.

Google
Great wood-fired pizza place in downtown Haddonfield. As a pepperoni fan, I love their Pepper-Jawnie. I also like their service - I was at nearby King's Road Brewing Company and stopped in to order a pizza, and said I'd come back to pick it up, and they said they would bring it over to the brewery when it was ready. Looking forward to trying more of their pizzas. 😋🍕

Google
An amazing south jersey gem!! Pizza was soooooo so good. Cooked to perfection! And you can tell all the ingredients were so fresh! I was so full on the first pie but wanted to order 2 more because of how good they are. Highly recommend this place if you like high grade Neapolitan style pizza. The waitress did a great job as well and the music was top tier. Really just an all around great place. Hats off to the owner, you created a great thing.

Pretty good pizza. Your standard Neopolitan pizza. A little expensive for the size and quality. Got the margherita and the Finley. Disappointed they didn’t have the wings as the oven was broken. Service was odd. Waitress was nice but forgot ice for our drinks and left us waiting a bit when the restaurant was completely empty. I also don’t usually comment on non-food but the music was so loud and awful. It was a bad playlist of songs you’d hear at a stadium like Get Ready for This. Odd for a small pizza place. My dad had them lower it but we were close to just leaving.

So good. Favorite is the fig pizza. Please never discontinue it. I come here just for that. But not sure why the crust was so big this time. Still amazing but it should go back to how it was originally in terms of size and area of toppings the pizza usually covers. Thank you. Keep up the great work. Update 12/21/23: Today we called a few times to make an order over the phone because for some reason the fig-jawn pizza was taken off from the the online menu a long time ago and usually I used to call to order it, but today it automatically keeps going to voicemail and says they are too busy to pick up. So firstly I couldn’t order the fig jawn pizza and had to make an online order and then when we arrived there 15 min later it is completely empty (not a single other customer is in there). And they said they still haven’t started making the pizza because of the time given in the online order— I didn’t set any pick up time but it automatically gave a 30 min later pick up time in the online ordering system? 1. Why is the fig-jawn not on the online menu? Why can’t it just say it’s sold out if it is not available for the rest of the day then the customer can know? 2. Why is there no phone service available when the restaurant is literally empty of customers? It was definitely not too busy even though the auto recorded message said they are too busy to pick up the phone. 3. The fig jawn pizza is the best (vegetarian) pizza and for that alone this review used to have 5 stars. Today we tried the tuna, shroom, and 4 cheese pizza and the only one we would order again in the future is the 4 cheese. I haven’t tried any meat pizza since I can’t have those here (I can have seafood). 4. The tuna pizza was made well and nicely in all ways except that it barely has any tuna and it was overly salty to the point of being slightly bitter. The potential is there but right now it’s kind of unpleasant to eat. 5. The shroom pizza was good but it could be better. The mushrooms are really good but the cheese that is used for some reason doesn’t really go that well with the mushrooms. I would modify the cheese for da shroom pizza. Maybe a different set of toppings can go better with this cheese and be a new summer pizza. 6. Sorry for the frustration in this review. Hope that some of the feedback can be helpful to make some future changes. I hope the 5 star menu item can be part of the menu again and there can be a solution for the current lack of ways to order it. Thank you. We want this to be our favorite pizza place in NJ, maybe even the country!

Google
Incredibly charming ✔️ Friendly atmosphere ✔️ Fresh ingredients ✔️ I would recommend Pizza Crime to all lovers of pizza. Their menu is limited but well balanced as they knock it out of the park with everyone. There wood fired oven elevates the thin crust. A huge thank you to the entire staff & owner. You have a beautiful vision here.

Yelp
Pizza Pazza totally hit the spot! They have an awesome menu with tons of options--pizza, pasta, sausage rolls, and more. Whether you're in the mood for something classic or feeling a little adventurous, there's something for everyone. We tried the Tartufo Pizza Roll and the Parma Pizza, and both were absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, not greasy at all, and the portion sizes were just right--filling without being over the top. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and everything had a great balance of flavor. One of the best parts? There's a brewery just down the way that lets you bring your own food, so we ordered from Pizza Pazza and they delivered it straight to us at the brewery. Super convenient and made the whole experience that much better. Prices were really reasonable too, especially for how fresh and tasty everything was. Great food, great service, and a perfect combo with a cold drink nearby. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving some solid Italian comfort food!

Yelp
Love the pizza! Went here to celebrate a birthday with the family. The pizza was well made, fresh and tasty. Tried a number of different types & all were very good. The service was great as well. Prices were reasonable. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Pizza Pazza replaced the old Pizza Crime in downtown Haddonfield, and is owned and operated by the same people who run the fine Italian dining restaurant Verona next door. Pizza Pazza is a much more relaxed, casual dining experience than Verona. They have a lot more Italian specialties on the menu than Pizza Crime did, but I don't think their pizza selection is nearly as inventive or good. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is still very good - with a giant, wood-fired oven at their disposal, it's going to be good. I've only been there once so I can't quite comment on the rest of the menu. We went on a Sunday afternoon and we were the only ones there so service was very attentive and our food came out quickly. They do pick up and delivery, and they are the closest pizzeria to the brewery almost right next door which allows you to bring in food, so it's a good option for pizza if you're having a few beers there.

Yelp
Hipster pizza; more about the concept rather than the execution. Also, the word pazzo/a (crazy) is for people. Un pizzaiolo pazzo. A thing is modified by pazzesco/a. Una Pizza pazzesca.

Yelp
Pizza Pazza's cheese is something to behold. The Quattro Famiggia melts in your mouth like butter and blends ingredients that aren't of these shores. The ambiance of the outdoor dining, amongst its neighboring restaurant's seating, carves out a little communal corner of Kings Hwy. I appreciate the menu diversity but wish the owners focus on "the hits." Everything about the menu screams "signature". I enjoy everything from the base ingredients of a vegetables pie down to the simplest marg pies. These are the pies that people fly into enjoy and are produced with ease. Recommend: Margarita, Quattro Formaggi (with Gorgonzola) and Pepperoni. But honestly, there's so many pies to discover - explore, discover your favorite.

Yelp
Took a drive down to Haddonfield, about an hour from where I live, for some community theater. Girlfriend and I decided to grab a random place, and we had an absolutely delightful time here, splitting a pepperoni pizza. Super friendly service, fantastic ambience, a romantic window seat, And a delicious pizza. Really incredible crust. We had two slices each, and at intermission of the show, ducked out to the car to have our last two pieces cold. I see that some of the other reviews are complaining about the cheese? These people are dangerous and should not be trusted, the cheese was incredible.

Yelp
We have gotten take out from here a few times now and have always been satisfied with the quality and flavor of the pizza. Will definitely order from here again. The ingredients used are high quality and the dough is fresh unlike most pizzerias in the area.

Yelp
I typically don't write reviews but let me tell you this place was brilliant!! Starting off when we walked in I had my baby in a car seat and the server and manager instantly grabbed us a booster seat to put the car seat. The food some of the best food I have had in a long while. We ordered the November Pazza box and let me tell you it was perfect! A great amount of food and the taste was something else. 10/10 recommend you give this place a shot!!!

Yelp
Love this place! Well decorated BYO with amazing tasting Italian style pizza and pastas. Really friendly service makes it a perfect low-key night out.

Yelp
Pizza is not as good as the previous pizza place. Kitchen is very loud, one guy in particular. I had the prosciutto and arugula, it was very sparse with prosciutto and arugula. The young lady that waited on us was very friendly and attentive. The much needed remodeling was done well. Only if the pizza had stepped up to the new changes and owner.

Yelp
Got margarita pizza for pickup and disappointing. Not sure what kind of cheese they used. Stick with Bricco. It'll be closed soon bc much better pizza in the area.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants, we've been here a handful of times! Amazing pizza, warm service, great ambiance. Get the polpette pizza and you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Really disappointed with my experience here. The pizza is just...not good, sorry to say. The cheese tasted odd and was a weird texture. The new renovations from the previous owners was very nice but unfortunately the pizza does not live up to the void left by the original business. I will not return.

Yelp
Service was excellent and speedy, and the margarita pizza delicious and well priced. Looking forward to going back again.
