"Once you taste it, you'll never leave it."
Stanley and Professor Elisabetta Moro sample fried pizza with ricotta, provola (a smoked cheese), pork fat and basil, from Da Fernanda, a historic family-run shop that's been operating for a century.
Not only the food pizza is great, but the lady chef, 80 years old, who also taught Jimmy Oliver how to make this pizza, is charming and nice.
She's continued cooking in this place after her mom was cooking this great pizza, for several generations - over 100 years now.
Don't miss out!

Lovely place somehow a little bit hidden in the Naples city center. After having seen the video from Jamie Oliver and Gennaro Contaldo it was a must visit place for me. The fried pizza is just awesome. A real secret and must visit place in Naples.

Pizza is cooked really fast, better take the small one as our big pizza was a bit raw in the middle. Otherwise quite tasty.

Ran out of a basso (street level/entry home) the owner has a wonderfully simple menu. Large or small. That's it. A large (large folded dinner plate size) delicious fried pizza or a small (smaller folded plate). The dough tastes like a zeppola (delicious in its own right) and a wonderful filling.

Amazing stuff. Fernanda is awesome. She made us emotional while cooking. We loved it, will make a special trip to eat this again.
