Dallas-Based Pizza Inn Issues Bizarre Statement In Support of Trump’s Bogus Voter Fraud Claims | Eater Dallas

"After the 2020 election, this Dallas-founded pizza chain issued a controversial corporate statement backing debunked claims of voter fraud and calling for a "10-day audit of the vote" ahead of the inauguration while asserting it was not seeking to overturn results. Leadership proposed measures they framed as advancing election integrity—including exclusive use of paper ballots and eliminating mail-in voting—and CEO Brandon Solano defended these suggestions as "reasonable and responsible," predicting they would draw criticism and accusations of supporting voter suppression. The release acknowledged the oddity of a regional restaurant chain wading into heated politics and invited customers to agree, disagree, boycott, or visit in solidarity. Founded in Dallas in 1958 and owned by Rave Restaurant Group, the company operates more than 200 restaurants out of headquarters in The Colony, Texas, with only three locations currently open in the DFW area (Mesquite, East Dallas, and Duncanville)." - Amy McCarthy

Horrible customer service. I ordered two pizzas from the Pizza Inn location is Mesquite, TX on 8/17/24. The pizza was incorrect. I called the store immediately and spoke with a man that identified himself as the manager S. John. He gave me the runaround and pretty much told me it was "tough luck" that the store got my pizza wrong. He mentioned the store calls if they have any questions about an order. I told him no one called me. He stated they were probably too busy to call, and he couldn't verify that they didn't call. So his attitude was "maybe they called, maybe they didn't". There are a lot of pizza companies to choose from in our area and I will not purchase from this location again. I asked for the corporate office information, and he told me to "Google it". He was rude, disrespectful, and very flippant about the situation. I have already Googled the corporate office and to my surprise, it is located right here in the Dallas area. I will definitely call them next week. It's not so much the mix-up, but the manager's attitude was very disrespectful He has zero customer service. Very disappointing.

I called the corporate office multiple time and finally reached someone. I was looking for help after taking my son to Pie Five for his birthday as he requested. The staff was unhygienic, rude, and actually got into a yelling match with me once i asked for the manager. I was contacted by someone in the following weeks only to be offered a Gift card. My wife didn't want to return to the Pie Five ever again. That was the last we heard from the company rep. We choose not to eat at Pie Five in Allen because one "manager" was sitting on food prep table, The other "manager" (who said he hated his job) was scraping advertisements off the floor with a pizza spatula, the employee that served was in booty short serving us our food. In the end the managers were mad because my son spilled his drink. The employee that served us gave us styrofoam cups without a lid apologizing that they didn't have lids for these cups. They were also mad that we didn't mop up the spill after another employee told us not to worry about it and they would take care of it. I was supposed to hear from the franchise owner but never have. Once I requested my money back for the ridiculous experience on my sons birthday, I never heard back from Rave restaurant group.

Recently, Every time I’ve ordered carry out at the Asheville Hwy location in SpTBg, SC the pizza order was wrong or like today the pizza is completely uncooked. Repeatedly getting my order Incorrect, and improperly prepared pizza is habitual at this location.

The poplar bluff Missouri pizza inn is horrible! Disgusting service! Server never refilled drinks and when I asked her she got upset and coughed over my son drink! I told her to get a different glass! She was argumentative and nasty! Told me they were too busy to get drinks! Yet she wanted a tip! Julie H is unprofessional and need training before let loose in public service! Never going back! I do not recommend Stay away!

Ate at our favorite pizza inn in lancaster sc tonight for dinner, it will be the last time we go. We enter the dining room had 4 tables seated, one mom with 4 kids been waiting on pizza about 20 minutes. There was half a taco pizza on the bar something with mushrooms which my husband is highly allergic to and one piece of very dry nasty lookin maybe buffalo chicken pizza. So we sit and wait the waitress (erica) very sweet young lady asks if we have requests, well, can we start with just something beyond inn the 'buffet'.... my daughter had a request, we waited almost 30 minutes before food was served, at that point it was the 2 pizzas the lady with 4 kids had ordered, you can imagine how fast that went. When my husband ask what was up the waitress explained the cook was not just real good at watching the cameras. The manager completely dimissed our concerns, Donna was very rude, not sure how she made it to managment like that. I'm sure pizza inn didn't really care about one bad afternoon. In one location but i promise this, you have lost one life long family of support.

I have historically ordered online from Pizza Inn and driven to pick my pizza as I am outside the delivery area. There are other companies who deliver but I prefer Pizza Inn. NEVER AGAIN!!! I had kids and grandkids over for Labor Day and ordered 5 pizzas to feed them. When I placed my order the website said my card was declined but the money was drafted from my account. I called the Mesquite, TX location and was told by the manager that he couldn't help me because they use a 3rd party vendor for on line ordering and didn't have control over it. I told him I would come to the store and show him my order and the draft from my account. His reply was "If i do that I'll be out the pizza and won't have the money". I told him that I AM out the money and don't have the pizza. His only reply was "sorry about that." If this is how Pizza Inn feels about their customers I'm done with them. My order was for $75.00, I would imagine their expense for making those 5 pizzas was less than $10.00. If you're revenues are so bad that you can't take care of your customers I'm done. I will pay for mediocre pizza to be delivered to me rather deal shotty on line ordering systems and inept managers. You'll be a penny stock soon enough.
