This place is AMAZING! The pizza are creative and taste superb. We tried all the varieties and ended up loving the Buffalo Pizza, and Chicken Vodka flavors the most. The TriDye was also a unique flavor worth trying for sure. The star though was the spectacular sandwich which was HUGE! It will definitely take 3 people to finish the job on the sandwich. The service was spectacular with everyone being extremely frieny and guided us through all the flavors in detail. Everything is halal and I would highly recommend the place! This is going to be my regular spot every time I visit the Big Apple.

Google
100/10 experience!! not only was the pizza my favourite in all of new york, it also offered halal meats. fresh thin pizza. the vodka pepperoni (halal) was my favourite. the service was also so spectacular! and very nice seating area! came all the way to the area for this spot definitely recommend!

Google
I’ve gone twice and based off of those I can highly recommend the chicken cutlet sandwich/pizza (massive and easily feeds 2-3 people) and the spicy chicken vodka pizza. I wouldn’t recommend the buffalo chicken roll, was just too salty for me and I didn’t enjoy it. But highly recommend visiting this spot.

Google
Really fresh and unique slices right here on E Houston. Really loved their chicken sandwich which is large enough to feed 4 to 6 people. It was just $23 and so delicious, fresh and super filling! A great late night treat

Google
Went on a venture through out NY for great pizza, this was our favorite place! Spicy pepperoni vodka is great. Friendly staff. Best part is that it’s halal

Mohammed ALZUBAIDI

Google
We tried three types of pizza here, and the taste was absolutely delicious with a unique flavor. The great thing is that all the food served is halal. Service was fast, and prices are slightly above average compared to other pizza places in the city

Google
Halal pizza shop down town. Good variety but a bit on the pricey side. I paid $22 for a slize with pepperoni & a chicken roll. The chicken roll was really good.

Google
The food is good, good choices of slices as you would expect from a NY slice. I had the chicken vodka slice, and it was crispy and yet soft. It was tasty and cooked well. The garlic squares were just ok, i would not get them again, really nothing special and they are not the only ones who make them, you can find them all over New York, but they are chep, 1$ a piece. The place is small. It's not a sit down place, but you have seats outside on the sidewalk, if that's your thing.

Yelp
I stopped in for a quick slice and was amazed at how good they were!! There's a lot of mid pizza places on the LES but PLS exceeded my expectations. I had a regular cheese slice and a tri dye slice (Marinara, pesto and vodka). Both slices were so crispy and flavorful. The amount of cheese to sauce ratio was perfect. There's some seating in here as well. The restaurant was clean and brightly lit. The staff were so nice too. Definitely stop here if you're craving pizza on the LES.

Yelp
Pizza Love Sauce seems to be a local favorite, so I had to check it out--and it definitely lived up to the hype. I started off with their vodka chicken and Margherita pizza, which were both solid, but I ended up coming back to try more. On the second visit, I went for the vodka chicken buffalo and their pesto pizza--and let me just say, the pesto is the real winner here. Super flavorful, fresh, and balanced. I get why it's their top seller--definitely recommend it if you're trying to decide. Casual, no-frills spot with really good pizza and a menu that makes you want to come back and try more.

Yelp
Pizza loves sauce is a slice shop with some notable toppings. They are most known for their TriDye slice with a swirl of tomato, vodka, and pesto sauces. It's a small interior, a counter with all their pies, stools along the wall, and some seating outside. The guy who was working there was really friendly and even helped us split slices in half. We ordered the white, tridye, and chicken margherita. The Tridye is a must order, fun and flavorful. I also really loved the chicken margherita with big dollops of tomato sauce. All the slices were a thinner crust with a crispy bottom, NYC style. Overall, I really enjoyed it! Would recommend

Yelp
Pizza Loves Sauce 147 E. Houston St. New York, NY 10002 Spicy Vodka Pepperoni Spicy Pesto Pepperoni Buffalo Chicken Slice The Baba The vodka sauce has quite a kick to it; the pepperoni adds more spice and flavor to the kick, which is definitely a good thing. It's quite obvious I can never get enough spice which is why I also scoped the spicy pesto pepperoni. there isn't a flop on this thin, crispy slice. If you need a variation of classic chicken wings, The buffalo chicken slice is a must try. It is topped with hearty chunks of chicken, blue cheese crumble, and scallions. If are a fan of Mediterranean dishes, then you will definitely be a fan of this specialty slice inspired by the baba ghanoush appetizer. The eggplant is soaked in a secret garlic marinade for 24 hours. This slice is also topped with tahini sauce and a touch of parsley. It was a pleasure visiting this pizzeria and exploring additional deluxe slices. #pizzalovessauce #lowereastsidenyc #halalpizza #spicyvodka #spicypesto #buffalochicken #theBaBa #nycfoodie #eats #foodstagram #localspots #foodreviews

Yelp
BEST slice in the city, period. my dad who grew up in new york certified that this place is fire (even though he was hesitant since its a newer spot) the customer service was amazing and way more than we expected- staff was welcoming, engaging, friendly, and moved fast. the place is small, but does what it needs to be doinggg. it is clean, well lit, and a good playlist.

Yelp
Pizza Loves Sauce is a must-visit. It's the best pizza I've had in recent memory and the service is beyond friendly. My favorite option is their chicken with vodka sauce--simply great. The shop is located in the Lower East Side and nearby historic gems. I cannot wait to return.

Yelp
We had: - Tri dye pizza slice--yes it's a lot of sauce but the crust was crisp and held up despite all the sauce. Yesyesyes get it. - chicken vodka slice--flavorful and delicious. Def recommend. - chicken roll--holy moly. Get it. Just do it. People were watching us devour this from the shop window and were coming in to try it. Service is great. Very quick and welcoming. Def a place I'd go back to!!

Yelp
Very good chicken vodka slice, especially for the area. $8 for one chicken vodka slice and a Coke Zero. Excellent service and super friendly. Small indoor pizzeria with barely any sitting room. Many many really fresh slice options which I LOVE!!!

Yelp
I believe i have reviewed this Pizza spot before, but this calls for another one. This place never fails me. The customer service is fantastic. Its always pretty clean. The pizza always sauce tastes amazing. Especially when its hot and fresh. Perfect cheese pull. However this review is about a new item i just tried. I have no idea what's it called but it has chicken and cheese in it. I wanna say Calzone but maybe im wrong. Ugh! So goood. They cut it into two piece. Literally fulfilling!! When i ate the first half it was nice and hot, that cheese pull was amazing. Had to save the other half for when i got to work and it was a bit warm but still tasty. This place could never do me wrong.

Yelp
The Chicken Spicy Vodka Sandwich was basically a huge pizza folded in half with huge chicken cutlets drizzled in sauce. It's a really impressive sandwich at first sight, and after taking a bite, you'll find that it tastes even more impressive than it looks. It was made on the spot, so it was hot. The service is friendly, and there's a consistent flow of customers that come in and out. There's seating for 8 people maximum, so expect to take your order to go unless someone's just leaving. It's not a huge spot, but it's just spacious enough.

Yelp
So, I gotta say, I loved it. Just when you think no one can reinvent pizza, the folks at Pizza Love Sauce pull off the impossible. I walked over --16 blocks -- after a comedy show because of a friend's recommendation and he did not lead me astray. Right away, you can tell the pizza looks different and the shop, while small and includes the basics, feels different too. The spices are noticeable, both on the pizza and in the air as soon as you step inside. Prices are a bit higher than your classic $1 slice -- well, $1.50 now thanks inflation -- but still very affordable. Like with most pizza joints, you pick your style or flavor, they pop it into the oven, and a minute later -- BOOM: you're enjoying your treat. I tried a regular pepperoni slice and a chicken vodka slice (a first for me). Both were tasty and fresh, even though they were premade. The staff was friendly and the music blasting over the speakers took me back to my undergrad days. "Everybody in the club getting tipsy..." to "It's getting hott in hurrr..." -- someone definitely has great taste in music.

Yelp
My friend previously came in and said it was the best slice in the city. Unfortunately this time around it was not the case. She got really sick, like physically ill from the pizza. I was only able to take a single bite because almost throwing up. The pizza was really old and tasted awful.
google avatar

King T.

Yelp
It's wild that this place isn't ranked as the best pizza spot on the Lower East Side--it's seriously underrated. Every slice is fantastic, and the crust is out of this world. On top of that, the staff is genuinely awesome.

Yelp
My first slice of pizza in NYC! So many places offering 99 cent slices, but my friend recommended this place. I ordered the chicken margarita, sprinkled some crushed red peppers and garlic salt, plus oregano, and folded the baby in half. It was delicious!!
google avatar

Joseph M.

Yelp
Seriously good NY style pizza. Perfectly crispy and thick soft crust. Nicest person working the counter too. Outside seating was nice as well
google avatar

Brian U.

Yelp
Came to Pizza Loves Sauce with colleagues on our lunch break, the team here shouting us with a warm hello as we entered. I got the Spicy Vodka chicken sandwich and was not disappointed. The sauce is key, it's nicely distributed throughout sandwich. You can only order the sandwich in person. This became my lunch and dinner. Definitely coming back here, it was such a delicious lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Love love love the pizza here!! One of my favorite tye dye pizzas in the city and the crust is thin and pizza is flavorful! Also tried the margarita here and it's good too but omggg tye dye pizza!!!

Yelp
I've never reviewed a pizza in all the years I've lived in NYC (aka since birth) but THIS WAS DELICIOUS. I was walking by and said ah I'll grab a mediocre corner slice and eat half just to sorta ease my hunger...and I was BLOWN AWAY. I inhaled the entire thing. I got the Margarita pizza with chicken and the sauce WOW WOW WOW. They were also really friendly, I got my pizza quickly and the restaurant is clean and has some seating inside and on the sidewalk.
google avatar

Yelp
Decent sizes of slices and price. Strong flavors, would buffalo chicken definitely had a kick. Plenty of searing outdoors. Great service overall.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing slices from Pizza Loves Sauce! I tried the beef pepperoni spicy vodka slice and the chicken spicy vodka slice, and both were fantastic. The beef pepperoni added a savory kick, while the chicken was tender and flavorful. The crust was perfectly crispy - golden and crackly, just how I like it. Each bite was a flavor explosion, balancing spice and richness. The slices were loaded with toppings and super saucy, creating a delightful blend of textures: the crunchy crust, the gooey cheese, the slightly chewy pepperoni, and the juicy chicken. They were a bit oily, but honestly, I usually douse my pizza in chili oil, so it was right up my alley! ‍ The place itself is very cozy with a small seating area outside and very little seating inside, giving it a homy feel. If you love a good, spicy, and saucy pizza with a perfect crust, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
Best pizza I've had in a long time and I've eaten at all the NYC pizza spots. This is a favorite for me now. So fun. So flavorful. Light. I've never had dough like this before. And the service was AWESOME. Hung out in there and had a blast. The tri dye and the spicy pepperoni...incredible. I want to come back to try the eggplant.

Yelp
To be honest, I thought this was one of those drunken pizza spots and I'm sure it can be because they are open late. I think even 4am? However, I'm a New Yorker (the truest) and this pizza is absolutely wonderful! It's the cleanest pizza place I've ever seen in my life without having horrible lighting. We were greeted so kindly and professionally. The kind gentleman walked us through the options and this was true hospitality. They even have a Nutella slice! It does look delightful and not too messy. I'm not a fan of Nutella but if I was, it would be a go! We ordered the mushroom margarita, chicken vodka and chicken margarita slice. All were packed with so much flavor. We will be back! Thank you!!!

Yelp
Every single slice was a BANGER! I love that they have halal meat options We got the pesto vodka pepperoni and the tri dye, highly recommend both !!
google avatar

Yelp
This resttuarant is up there in some of the best pizza I've tried across NYC . They serve up a perfect slice . Perfect texture , good size , excellent sauce and don't even get me started on that beef pepperoni as they are a halal restaurant ! Beef pepperoni is amazing for those who haven't been fortunate to try. Its adds a subtle spiciness to the slice along with some flavor depth . Beef pepperoni is probably also amazing on scrambled eggs, but I digress... This restaurant has limited stool seating so it's better for takeout. It gets busy so dining in would likely have people hovering over you for a seat.
google avatar

Humairaa A.

Yelp
Halal. Chicken with vodka sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and chicken in margherita. Decent slices. A few seats inside, more seating outside. Located on a really busy street.
google avatar

Epicreature S.

Yelp
The service is friendly and quick, but the pizza tasted like it was made with a 3D printer. Whatever they're using as "cheese" is clearly either imitation or adulterated with fillers. The cheese was tougher than the crust. If you have very low standards, low self esteem, or if you're a misanthrope with money to burn ($5+/slice), this is your place!

Katy S.

Yelp
i'm genuinely drunk as I write this. As a mildly drunk person, you would expect any pizza to taste great. This pizza is not great. For six dollars for one slice I would've hoped it at least wasn't burnt. there was little to no cheese and I will not be back.
google avatar

Gabrielle B.

Yelp
Somewhat solid pizza but is it worth the terrible service? Not really. The guy taking orders was so rude and tried to gaslight us on the order he put in and then charged us more than our original order. Such a pity because we were really excited to try this place. Too many pizza spots in the city competing to deal with this nonsense. Try somewhere else.
google avatar

Gab G.

Yelp
Solid option for a slice in the area. I tried the tie dye slice, chicken margherita slice and mushroom margherita slice and all were pretty tasty. They also have some seating against the wall inside.

Yelp
We came for the sandwiches but stayed for the pizza...but not exactly. Actually , my friend and I came only for the sandwiches but didn't know that they have certain times and days for sandwich making (what a bummer). Traveled from the Island all the way to the city, but didn't want to lose out on pizza so we took a crack at 4 of their toppings and it did not disappoint. First off, the crust was a lot more thin that the average NY style pizza, absolute zero flop. Didn't expect that. Also the sauces were quite rich but they could have given our slices less time in the oven because it got super crunchy and a tad dry. Nonetheless , first time trying, gotta give one star for actually opening a halal pizza spot. That ain't easy. They had some great toppings, you can see in the pic what we ordered. Walking in it wasn't your typical pizza looking restaurant, more like all white inside which I found to be cool and sets themselves apart from others. Also great service , friendly staff and I think we had the owner serve us ! Overall , the pizza was great, next time will nab slices from the pies coming straight outta the oven and go at a time when they making the sandwiches. Make sure you call ahead and confirm the days and times when they make the sandwiches and tell them to just heat the slices for like 1-2 minutes so it doesn't get dry . I'll be back next time for their infamous chicken cutlet sandwich and drop the pic here for update. It's worth going and if you bout that halal life then this place is for you.
google avatar

Waseef S.

Yelp
The food was great here! I got the chicken ala vodka, pepperoni, tye dye slices and the garlic knots. All of them were great! I would definitely recommend! The best halal pizza I've had! The customer service was great as well!
google avatar

Dimitri S.

Yelp
Saw an instagram clip about this place and the chicken "sandwich" made with pizza dough and had to try it. I was warmly greeted and asked what I wanted. I went with the chicken with the vodka sauce, but had to try a slice as I waited. Had the pepperoni with spicy vodka sauce. It was all tasty and so filling. Barely made it through half of the chicken roll and had it wrapped up. Really, really good. I will try the pesto or marinara next time. .
google avatar

Fanon P.

Yelp
Stumbled in here from a bar crawl extra saucy! I got the spicy vodka slice and it was smacking! It had a nice lil kick, and the sauce was pretty fire, no complaints. A month in Ny and pizza is in my dreams chasing me!
google avatar

Cate T.

Yelp
This was seriously one of the best pizza spots I've had in New York. The vodka pepperoni and vodka chicken were both unreal, and the crust was sooo good! It's a classic little dollar pizza spot with a couple seats and there were nice people working there. I already want to go back

George G.

Yelp
Tasty pizza. I had a plain slice and their Tri-dye yesterday. Both slices were very very very thin....thick outer crust but paper thin base, which is why it's crusty...it cooks thoroughly. Service was very good, they cleaned the counters while I was there...rarely see that anywhere else. But I like my pizza a bit chewy with some dough under the sauces!

Yelp
I stumbled upon Pizza Loves Sauce during my lunch break and decided to give the Tie Dye slice a try. They sold me at vodka sauce. I was asked to keep a lot of napkins close by because this saucey slice gets messy. Another customer recommended not folding the slice for the same reason. The tips were much appreciated but most importantly, the Tie Dye slice was delicious. I came back the following day to try a basic slice of cheese pizza. This is where I really rate a pizza shop because I'm secretly out trying to find the best slice of cheese pizza. Once topped with oregano, the slice of cheese was just as good as the Tie Dye. The sauce to cheese ratio was perfect with that slight crunch of the reheated crust. Yumm! Hubby was jealous that I went back twice as his co-worker who lives in the city also recommended this pizza shop. We went back late at night after a comedy show and he was able to try the Tie Dye slice as well. His review, "5 stars," as he quietly munched away without sharing a bite (rude). The bar seating, neon sign, and music at this shop is quite a vibe. I highly recommend checking this spot out for a quick bite.

Yelp
Don't let the look of this pizza fool you.. it's actually quite terrible for NYC standards as well as price.. $32 for this thing! Are you mad.. heck a 99 cent aka $8 pizza weighs about the same, and actually has more flavor even without pepperoni which should be a crime if you ask me. Two Boots is right up the road it's the same price, and will blow your mind compared to this Hot N Ready quality pie, and honestly LC sauce is much better. Crust wasn't even edible no flavor just filler so for the rats it goes, and let's be honest Rats here know what good pizza is so even they might be like are you serious. We're good. Not trying to be super offensive about it, but with a price tag like that I do consider this pizza insulting! Heck even Artichoke, or Zazzy's are worth the extra steps just for quality at the same price. All that being said please do yourself a favor, and get better pizza.. Especially if you are a tourist, and don't get NYC pizza all the time. Your tastebuds deserve better, and I'd actually say try the three I mentioned even over the over hyped Joe's as well. Take care, and love NYC!
google avatar

Jason W.

Yelp
Pizza shop located on Houston St that has pretty quality slices. The shop is pretty small and has a decent selection of slices. Highlight was the tie dye slice. Both slices I got featured a quality crust and fresh tasting ingredients. Not much more that you can ask for. While the place is a little pricier than other spots it's definitely one of the better places to grab a slice in the area.
google avatar

Uzma S.

Yelp
halal gem!! this is my favorite place to get a slice. seriously, put this at the top of your nyc food list. ive only tried the garlic knots, tie-dye, and spicy pepperoni with hot honey - all are INCREDIBLE. the dough is top notch. definitely gonna go back to try the chicken vodka and buffalo chicken. prices range from $3.75 for a cheese to $6.5 for the tie-dye. worth every penny.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
3.5 for pizza, 5 for knots. Average 4.25* Knots were phenomenal! Garlicky, buttery and delicious. The pizza was fine but not nearly as good. I would go back and just get multiple orders of the knots, they are maybe the best I've ever had.
google avatar

Israel W.

Yelp
Walked from the Manhattan bridge to this location on a hot summer day. The tie dye slice instantly caught my eye as I walked in the perfectly cooled room . Ordered it, got it,ate it, and couldn't help but feel guilty for not getting a second slice . The taste from all three flavors(tie dye, vodka, and marinara) was unlike anything I've had before . Extremely fresh and flavorful. Just the right amount of cheese and crisp. It is a top 5 pizza I've had in New York and I've tried a couple big name spots. I implore you to try this place out !
google avatar

Liam R.

Yelp
There's no way I can accept that this current 4.7 average rating is real. This is average to below-average pizza for NYC standards. The only thing potentially slightly-above-average is the crust.
google avatar

Amyra U.

Yelp
Thin crust, flavorful, clean space, nice service! Would def come back, 20$ for 3 slices but it was the premium toppings tho!
google avatar

Mónica P.

Yelp
great customer service. great energy. seating indoors, booth style and a table outside chili flakes and cheese topping available

K I.

Yelp
Best pizza i think I've ever had. On top of that best chicken vodka. On top of that the people who work there are amazing! Great vibes. Highly highly recommended!!!
google avatar

Isaias H.

Yelp
First place we eat at here in New York, and wow. Pizza was delicious. Perfect undercarriage, not greasy, and just perfection. Best garlic knots I've ever had. Definitely will come again before my trip is over
google avatar

Lou S.

Yelp
We went to Pizza Loves Sauce because we couldn't get into Katz's Deli, which is right down the street. I loved the chicken margherita pizza with their red sauce. I also tried the vodka sauce, which was interesting. The thin crust was crispy, and the toppings were good quality and quantity. Seating is a little limited, but the guys are nice, and I would definitely come back again.
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Crisp, tasty slices of pie at a reasonable price. Staff super friendly. Not much room to sit, so be prepared to take out if needed.
google avatar

Szewan N.

Yelp
The staffs are friendly. The spicy pepperoni pizza is awesome!! The crust is thin! Love the place!!
