Pizza Loves Sauce

Really fresh and unique slices right here on E Houston. Really loved their chicken sandwich which is large enough to feed 4 to 6 people. It was just $23 and so delicious, fresh and super filling! A great late night treat

As a man who LOVES his pizza I actively sought out the top place for pizza whilst I was Visiting NYC from the UK. I dug out so many word of mouth recommendations and settled on this fine establishment for the humble NY style Pizza by the slice. And oh my word I was not disappointed, quite simply the best pizza I have EVER tasted. The Vodka sauce on one of the pizzas was a liquid orgasm. A humbling and life changing experience. My eyes have been opened... Currently looking at flight prices from Manchester UK for this weekend just to get some more of the good stuff!

Many things have changed since COVID forced businesses to shut down. But, it also allowed many new businesses to grow and thrive on the scene. Always on the hunt for that quintessential NY slice, I stumbled on this new spot along the Houston corridor bordering the East Village. I admit I was thinking a little too literally when I walked in, expecting the slice to mirror the namesake. I was looking for the sauce! While my slice may have been short on sauce for my tastes, like the usual NY slice, it was long on flavor. The guy at the register was patient enough with me to explain things and served up a slice that hit the spot. So, while I didn't find my slice with a love for the sauce, I did notice the door constantly opening as what sounded like repeat customers who knew what they were looking for. Check it!

Didn’t expect to have pizza on the first day of Chinese New Year, but guess what? So glad I gave it a try! Lucky to find parking right across the street and head straight in. Of course, I checked it out on Google first—the high ratings caught my eye. The place wasn’t crowded, so no wait at all. Tried their pizza and garlic knots, and they were amazing! Definitely coming back.

Absolutely GREAT pizza spot. You pay for taste & quality - not for over the top ambiance or extravagant decor. The fact that they are completely Halal with certifications on the wall! Personally loved the spicy (beef) pepperoni & buffalo margarita pizza!

I selfishly don’t want to share how good this place is but WOW - best pizza in the city and the garlic knots are life changing. And the service was amazing! Definitely a must-stop if you’re in the area.

PIZZA IS AMAZING! Too their customer service and great ambiance, this spot is a must go! All three pizza’s ordered were a different but delicious experience! To the amazing sauces on the tie dye and to the flavorsome vodka sauce. Personal favorite and high recommendation would be Tie Tye pizza and Garlic Knots!

Owner is really friendly and good vibe all around. Good number of unique pizza options. The pros, every bite is a mouthful of stringy cheese. The cons, it's thin slice pizza and undercarriage doesn't quite support the toppings. Will come back to try their other items.
