I was very disappointed with their Fall Special "Harvest Salad" which was roasted sweet potato, pepitas, craisins, and feta over an arugula mix with maple vinaigrette. This should be pretty hard to mess up, as there is only one cooked ingredient, but unfortunately the roasted sweet potatoes were woefully undercooked. My first bite crunched, like I'd bitten into a carrot stick. The beautiful sweet and tender flavors of a properly roasted sweet potato are scarce - maybe a third of the pieces were cooked through enough to be at the least mushy, but nowhere near enough to develop any rich flavors. The rest of the salad was okay, but without the roasted sweet potatoes to balance things out, the bitter arugula dominated the taste.
It's frustrating to me because it's not like the cooking on this is made to order - they have to be making a large batch of the sweet potatoes to then add to other dishes and salads, and a single tasting by anybody would have made it obvious there was a big problem. My advice to the restaurant is to at the very least check that your food is cooked before selling it and serving it to customers.
The saving grace was the slice of pepperoni I got with the salad, which was fine. Crust had a nice golden edge and the pepperonis had just crisped up a tad to give it extra flavor and texture.
