Tip: this pizza tastes better re-heated the next day than fresh out of the oven.

Decent place good pizza wouldn’t recommend the wings. They came burnt & were given a lot of sauce for very small size wings.

Small family run place. Had calzone to eat in and 4 topping personal pizza to go. Toppings were generous amounts Large screen TV in 6 table dining area.

Good cheeseburger which has lettuce, tomato and pickle. Great French fries. Previously, I tried their spaghetti which is a good portion and includes bread and salad.

They seem to be running an illegal gaming party, Friday 07/12/25 9:30 pm. Turning away regular costumers.. Very shameful. But, illegal money is also green to gready people. Im Very disappointed.

Yummy, real Italian food! Cozy place with outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. We loved our pizza. Baked good and topping was great. We had number 8 in 16 inches and it was good for two people with extra pieces. Store was cozy and we watched the Olympics on large screen. Good experience.

Used to go there all the time. Tried it again, and the food is absolutely terrible. The pizza is like gas station pizza. Called them for an update because it was very late. They couldn't give me an update said my food would be normal whenever it gets here. Wasted $50 dollars. My own grandchildren didn't even like the cheese pizza. How do you mess up cheese pizza ? There's hardly any toppings on the special pizza. I think this has to be the worst pizza place I've gotten. Used to love it and now it went to shit. Will not be ordering ever again.

Came here for a late lunch and it was worth it. Ordered the best pizza according to the chef and it was tasty and fresh. Very good service here and it has the neighborly vibe going. It's been here 35 years for a reason..

The setting of this shop is old and gross, there was an old guy watching the world's most boring show loudly on a big screen while barefoot. Not a good way to increase a person's Appetite. The pizza was not great and was super soggy in the middle, the cheese was low quality and not fresh, and the sauce was basic. I also ordered their HOT buffalo wings, which were ok but I've had better at for the price. The service wasn't bad, it's just if your food isn't top notch your service better be. It's not the worst pizza, but I will try and find a better local spot from now on.

I made an order on DoorDash. Order accepted, then rejected because it didn't meet their minimum... Had to pay an extra seven dollars for a shitty salad to meet order minimum that was never mentioned on DoorDash... Rude delivery driver ... Never again...

The food here is delicious and the pizza. But lately my husband and I have been hooked on the spaghetti . The price is very reasonable. The staff is kind and friendly it's a family owned. A must try !

Ordered delivery. It was Pizza Venicia and on the extra toppings section I added jalapeño and pepperoni but when I got the order it was just pepperoni and jalapeño. It didn't even come with pepper or Parmesan cheese.

I wanted a piece of pizza and not a whole pizza cause I was on my lunch. I search for a place near my location at the time this place was on the list. I read the reviews and decide to try them out. As I walked in the place was empty that should have been first clue to turn around and walked out but my craving had me and I was crunch on time. Usually when a place is selling slices you see several pizza's and I didnt see that at all. Now remeber the place was empty not even a employee in site. Finally a employee walks in says out loud a customer needs help and a lady walk from hidden spot. I asked if they sale slices and she replied yes so I said just a simple cheese slice. I didn't look at it until I got in the car and it was just a frozen square pizza. It was a waste of my time. I would have been better just hitting up Little Ceasar. I usally don't try to mess with people living hoods but hopefully they would make some changes, I wanted piece of pizza something I couldn't do but I can definitely could have put a frozen pizza in the oven. Bad business

Small mom and pops type of restaurant in the East Foothills of San Jose. This family owned business is hustling trying to survive the brutality of what the pandemic has caused to our small businesses in our communities. I ordered dinner which was a pizza with pineapple, jalapeños, and olives (don't knock it until you try it!), and it was delicious. The sauce wasn't overpowering and it was clear that it didn't come from a can but rather a secret family recipe perfected over the years. The crust was thin and light which made it impossible to have just a couple of slices. Enjoyed every single bite! Their menu also offers spaghetti, burgers, sandwiches, ribs, and much more. I would definitely recommend checking them out for a night in with the family. If you plan on putting in a large order, call ahead because the cute family running the business are super busy with phone orders and takeout. As of January 3, 2020, outdoor and indoor seating is still on pause but I'm sure things will feel a bit more normal for them once our county reopens for dine in services. Oh, and for my cat lovers -- they have a family cat on payroll who sweetly greets patrons as we walk in. #SupportLocal #HelpSmallBusinesses

I'm all about supporting local establishments but I will not be going here anymore! The guy who works there is sooo rude! I believe is the owner because he's always there when I go!! Every time I order he's upset and very mean and to be honest the pizza is ok. There's nothing special but rather go to Mountian Mike's or Roundtable. This last time he was super defensive and had attitude and grant it, it was his fault he didn't have my pizza ready! I ordered pizza on door dash 45 minutes before I stepped foot in to pick it up! Door dashed message said it was ready, walked in to pick up and he said wait 25 more minutes. It was my son's birthday and I timed it perfectly to drop it off at his lunch at school! I didn't have an extra 25 minutes to wait and he got super irritated because I didn't want to wait and wanted to cancel. Never again will I go there.

This is a hidden gem near Alum Rock Park. The pizza is delicious and the crust really sets them apart.

Been coming here for 20 years. Never had a bad pizza! The pizza is ready fast and the flavors are excellent. The dining area is small but sufficient. The prices are a bit high though compared to others.

Great mom and pop restaurant! My coworkers and I were in the area and starving so we picked a random place for lunch. Glad we picked here! There's three cute little cats to greet us and I'm assuming he was the owner, was super nice! I shared a...14 inch...pizza I think, with my coworkers and it was the perfect size, thoroughly sliced so we weren't wrestling with the cheese. We got the pesto pizza and it was bomb dot com. Flavorful with great cheese pull! The patio area is also shaded with umbrellas. Support local businesses!

Amazing food 10/10 my whole family has been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The service is always great they've always acted like family. Its a pretty old school family owned pizza place overall 10/10 would recommend.

Good neighborhood restaurant. Spaghetti and meatballs were delicious served with garlic bread and salad all for 9.99. Ordered two slices of pizza and received a personal sized pizza. Crust was not to thin and was crispy. Great pizza. The man making the pizza wasn't friendly and the man behind the register was a little nicer. Customer service not the best but the food was good. Will return but not to eat there. They also deliver which is great.

I called to simply place a large catering order. The man that picked up was telling to fuck off because I asked for the old owner who I've placed catering orders with in the past. I was well ready to spend over 1,000 on pizzas for a large party I'm having. I can't imagine losing out on that money due to horrible customer service especially in this economy

Save your money and go to some place that will stand by its pizza. I go out of my way to support local family businesses but this one is done. I have been ordering from Pizza Maria of a LONG time. They delivered a pizza that was cold and overdone then the dude on the phone wants to argue with me over it. Mistakes happen so I don't hold that against them, but then argue with me, a long standing customer, over the issue when I've never made a single complaint before? No thanks, not worth the headache and certainly not worth my $30. I delivered and made pizza in college for 5+ years. I know when it's cold etc. It was just on the oven too long (dries out and can sometimes even continue to cook in the box) staying warm or something else, it was not burnt. I vote with my dollars and there won't be any more spent on Pizza Maria ever again. Absolutely avoid the crap shoot.

I was in the mood for my favorite pizza but didn't want to make the drive to SF. My husband did a quick search for Sicilian pizza and this place came up. It's a nice old school place with the red cups and all. We ordered a Pizza di Pisa and it was exactly what I was hoping for! If you like garlic on your pizza order this one. The toppings were fresh and great quality. The bread was perfectly cooked and was a nice thickness. It took a little long to make but was totally worth the wait and price! I'm glad to have found a good pizza place that's a little closer to home.

I visited this place for the first time yesterday. I am surprised I have never heard of this place before but my brother spoke highly of this restaurant. We ordered the Sicilian style pizza with Sausage, Pepperoni and bell peppers. The pizza was very flavorful and the portion was large. I prefer my pizza crust to be on the crispier side so next time I will ask if the can keep it in longer. They serve beer and wine so I look forward to enjoying their outdoor seating and having a nice beer in the summer. Looking forward to trying more menu items soon.

Better pizza places on this side of town. No need for the owner to drive around the neighborhood like this Monza!

Tried Pizza Maria for the first time about a week ago. The pizza tasted great, the service was good and the ambiance was very "family owned". Our to go order was ready around the promised time. We will definitely eat Pizza Maria again! Thanks.

Pizza Maria is delicious! It has been around forever and it's family owned and run. I love the cheese they use and the crust is perfect, not too firm but not to floppy either. The prices are good and the value is great!

Good pizza, but they rip you off on the price and are rude, to boot. On the price: small veg combo $25. Small pepperoni $17 or so. Half and half? $28!! Every other pizza place I've ever been to in my life (and I've been to a lot) charges the higher of the two prices on a half and half. This place charged for the veggie combo and then added the cost of pepperoni. Another example, I ordered a large pizza and a small, went in and the bill (which I had learned to check) was way higher than I expected. I asked why, and was told that they had made a mistake and made two larges, so they charged me for two larges. (Are you kidding me??). I said that was wrong and they said they'd put the large that was right off to the side while they made a small for me. I said the large would be cold by the time I got it and they said too bad. I looked ticked off and they adjusted the price. Last straw was last night. Went in, got our usual two pizzas (no combos for us!), we were the only folks in the place. TV was blaring an endless infomercial about supplements that combat aging. We asked to change the channel and they switched it to an informercial about the world's most expensive supercars. We asked them if they'd be willing to just switch the TV off and got a lecture about how this was a restaurant, not a private house. The TV got switched off for about five minutes. Anyway, the pizza *is* good, but we really just can't bring ourselves to go back.

I love this place! It's near my house and it bring back some good memories of my collage days! NY STYLE HAMD TOSSED PIZZA PIE! Heck yeah!! As soon I as I walked in to make my order the first time I could smell The bread and garlic in the air and love it ever since. Everyone is very nice and friendly! I sure do love a family owned and ran business. Keep it up and do not pass up on these guys!

A little disappointed in 18"×13" scicilian deep dish pizza. In my opinion, minimal spinach, onion and Italian sausage. What's deep about it is the thickness of the bread/dough. A bit more on the vegies and sauce would be nice. I won't order it again.

This is our local pizza place. I love that it is right next door to my kids' karate classes. Good pizza! They have plenty of seating even for a large group. Several locals like to eat in and watch sports on their tv. They have grub hub which makes it easy to just pick up and go, or have it delivered.

We've lived in the area and have been going here for over 10 years. The pizza is yummy, but the quality of the service has declined. I have felt like I am imposing on them when I walk in to pick up my pizza. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be returning.

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE HERE! Called to order a pizza and asked the man on the phone "How long of a wait for a pick-up?" He replied, "30-35 minutes." So I placed my order for 18" #8 (pepperoni, onion, bell pepper, black olive, sausage) and I paid to add bacon. I waited 25 minutes and drove to get drinks at the liquor store near by and arrived at Pizza Maria at the 33 minute mark. I paid $32 and some change for the pizza with $40 and told the young man helping me to keep the change... he thanked me then told me it was going to be 15-20 minutes more and I (disappointed I had to wait knowing friends were waiting on me) told him I would be waiting in my car. The young man asked me what type of car I had and I told him, assuming that meant he would be bringing out my pizza. After 20 minutes I went back inside and he opened the oven door and showed me a pizza in the back of the oven and said "it's almost finished, just needs about 3 minutes more." I went back out to my car and waited 10 more minutes and thought ~ I guess he's not bringing it out to me so I went back inside. He opened the oven, motioned to a totally different, less cooked pizza and said "it's going to be about 10 more minutes." WHAAAAAAT?!!!!!!! I then say to him " ok, but you were really off on your timing. It has been an hour now." I am still shocked and upset by what happened next. A short man with started yelling and screaming at me telling me not to say anything to the young man, that they were very busy, that they weren't just sitting around!!!! At first I was speechless but then I replied "I have been waiting an hour after being told it would be 35 minutes and I was just telling him he was off on the timing and the man yelled over me the entire time I was speaking saying how busy they were and to not even talk to the young man (the young man was trying to tell him to stop). I have never been spoken to like this! I went back to my car (embarrassed and humiliated because the other patrons in the shop were just staring at me). I waited 10 more minutes and the young man brought out my pizza and while apologizing put it on my passenger seat. Can you believe after all that, THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG PIZZA?!!!!!!?! They gave me a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, MUSHROOMS AND EXTRA GARLIC!! My friends and family are so mad at me for not sticking up for myself and not immediately taking the pizza back and demanding my money back! Lastly.... this is not my first time ordering from here... in fact they have delivered the wrong thing a couple times but because my brother and recently deceased father love this place and want to support it as a small business I still order from them now and then. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Too tired to cook we decided to get the Venecia pizza. We have always had great service and the pizza is always hot and delish. They have outside dining with umbrellas. The pizza parlor has been in business since 1993. The interior could use some updating. The chairs, tables are original as well as wall decor.

Rude service. They insult customers that give them business. They give attitude when delivering also as if there aren't other pizza options. The pizza isn't all the great that anyone should put up with the rudeness. I usually like to support locally owned businesses, but not this one.

Love this pizza place! We have ordered for pick up, delivery, to go and dine in. Every time we have quality service and great food! Whenever I see the little Pizza Maria car pull up to the house I know we are in for a treat. The pizza is always fresh- fresh veggies, meats and gooey cheese that makes the best of comfort food. They also have burgers and fries on the menu.... when I say fries I am referring to the yummy garlic fries. The garlic bread is also delish. We like to stop by and say hi to the awesome employees, order to go and grab a drink and watch whatever sports are in the big screen. They will custom make whatever pizza you like which is nice because I like to order half of one of the specials and half of whatever concoction I decide sounds good. They are very amenable to you ordering needs. Current order: Large: half number three and half spinach, garlic, onion, pepperoni. Fresh garlic is the bomb! Oh yeah, and two orders of garlic fries because they are one of the only things my husband and I fight about. This place haas a nice hometown feel and I am happy to order here any chance I am eating carbs!

I'm disappointed that no one was wearing a mask and only one guy was wearing gloves. All employees should always have a mask on right now. Also, they don't care if customers come in without a mask. Some pregnant lady came in without a mask. I was the only one wearing one. SMH... even though places are able to open for take-out during shelter in place, they are supposed to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines. Unless I'm wrong and they are not obligated to wear one anymore? I won't go there again anytime soon. Maybe after all this coronavirus shit is over with LoL. I didn't want to be a dick so I didn't say anything. We still ate the food because didn't want to pay for nothing! We all noticed the pizza was soggy in the center and got crunchy towards the crust. It tasted ok overall but sucked that 2/3 of each slice was soggy. I ended up toasting my second slice in the toaster oven to get it to cook right. I just think they didn't bake it all the way through. You do get a pretty decent size for what you pay though the 16 inch is like a large at a Pizza Hut, and the 18 inch was huge! If they just bake it longer it will be perfect!

I will say this until I can find a better place for pizza! I've been here a few times years ago and I was introduced by a local around the area. I've only ever tried the Toni's Special and when I say it's mouth watering.... I mean drooooool!!! I unfortunately don't have any photos of the Toni's special I got today because we were so hungry and just dove right in. We made a phone order and picked it up. Waited only about 20 minutes! The service is great. Every time I've gone, it's been the same people working in there since it's family owned. The workers are so nice and so sweet! The Toni's Special has ricotta cheese, pesto, pepperoni and sausage. DELISH. It's all freshly baked in their pizza oven and did I mention it's family owned?? SUPPORT YOUR LOCALS and get your pizza "party" (DON'T party or gather in large groups during this pandemic pls) on!!

Tried pizza di Napoli, I enjoyed freshly made local pizza. It wasn't crowded on Sunday noon.Menu is simple and easy to choose. Customer service wasn't to my expectations.

Very unfortunate looked good tasted horrible...crust and toppings uneventful called to let the manager know and response was 30 years and no complaints....ok and oh well...
