Pizza My Heart

This place is geared towards the younger crowd and has some cool vibes to it. The menu is posted at the front of the counter so you can see what you want ahead of time. On my trip, I got two different types of pizza. One was called the mixer and the other was a mix with beacon. The pizza is light and doesn't make me feel overstuffed. The toppings and variety of pizza choices are also intriguing. Lastly, the staff were awesome and brought their A game. Overall if you're looking for a quick bite of pizza to eat, I'd recommend this place.

Today we decided to try this pizza place. The crust was thin and a little greasy but we still enjoyed it. I like when you find places that serves pizza by the slice. You can always get the right amount. A little disappointed when we saw the sign that read no wings. Hopefully they'll be back next time.

My favorite pizza chain. I've only been to two: this one and the one in Santa Cruz. The Emeryville location is a LOT smaller, but of course the pizza is just as amazing. This location often has a line and runs out if tables, but there is some outside seating as well as benches in the mall area.

Nice staff, clean place, and for by the slice pizza/c it was delicious. Typically by the slice pies are not as fresh and tasty but this place does it right. They also sell whole pizzas as well; 12”, 14”, and 18”. Can’t wait to come back and try other toppings.

This pizza has captured my heart. It is fresh, innovative and delicious. Definitely a comfort food and I highly recommend one of their specialty pizzas. The big sur while it has tons of garlic isn't over powering add I thought it might be. A must try.

Decent quick pizza,nothing special but I like that they are reasonably priced. They use myokis cheese for the vegan option with is one of best cheese alternatives available.

The award winning Big Sur specialty is a must for everyone who loves pizza. Mouth watering mix of fresh ingredients plus the roasted garlic on top are a fine addition to this delicious pizza. I will be back pretty soon!

Perfect place to stop for a bite while shopping. I suggest the combination style. The staff there were extremely kind and welcoming. Next time I will buy a whole pizza to go.

This Pizza My Heart's a ghost kitchen, but it's still the PMH people have come to know and love. Doordash got it to me around 30, and the price is right with the proper Doordash discounts. Typical California-style pizza, but still worth a go.

It's February 2023, and "Pizza My Heart" in Oakland is currently operating from a ghost kitchen in the Oakland Food Hall. If you order from Pizza My Heart (PMH) in Oakland, and the pickup address is "2353 E12th St," then your food will be coming from the Oakland Food Hall. On a rainy Saturday, I saw Doordash was offering a 20%-off promo to try PMH in Oakland, so I placed an order for a small Cowell's Combo pizza. No special add-on toppings. When I got my pizza, I popped it in the oven for 15-mins @ 350*F to warm it up. Straight on the rack, no pan. The result was a hot and crispy pizza. The reheating brought out the flavor in the sausage and pepperoni. The Cowell's Combo is a combination pizza with Pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms, onions & bell pepper. The onion and bell peppers were crunchy. It seemed like the meat and veggies were in balance on the thin crust. It made the pizza a nice eating experience. But it lacked the thick blanket of molten cheese that would earn it 5-star status from me. Also, the pizza wasn't sliced very well, and it wasn't easy to rip off a slice. So, a good combo pizza that could of used more cheese. But very tasty pie. PMH is a currently a ghost kitchen at the Oakland Food Hall. Ghost Kitchens have no dining room or wait staff. It's all carry out or delivery.

Got a pepperoni pizza was supposed to be plant based sausage and olives Does it look correct to you ?

A friend and I got a Big Sur for movie night, and we were both thoroughly impressed, kept remarking to each other how tasty it was. A quick reheat in the oven really made the crust and toppings pop. The Caesar salad had lots of fresh-tasting chicken, and an extra slice of simple cheese pizza was a nice counterpoint to the complexity of the custom pizza. Will definitely order again.
