When I was a kid, I loved pizza so much that I dreamed of opening my own pizzeria. I like to think it would've been just like this one. The Food: I had two slices of pepperoni pizza, and they were fantastic. Every ingredient really stood out - from the sourdough crust to the sauce, cheese, and those perfectly cupped pepperonis (which I'm a sucker for). It's a great mix of high-quality ingredients. It's like a Megazord of cheesy goodness. As a pizza aficionado, I wholeheartedly approve. The Ambiance: This is a cozy spot with plenty of natural light from a big window. From a design perspective, I love their branding. It has that classic '80s pizza parlor vibe, but the restaurant itself feels very modern. It's a great balance, and I really enjoy the atmosphere. The Service: Believe it or not, the customer service here might just be better than the pizza. We were greeted by what I'm pretty sure is the owner, who was incredibly friendly. He complimented my shirt and made sure to greet every customer who walked in. You could tell he genuinely cares. He remembered regulars and took the time to ensure everyone felt welcome, even though he was clearly busy. It's those little touches that make me want to return... along with the amazing pizza.

The pepperoni pizza 🍕 was so fresh, the cheese pull and the pepperoni's crunch were perfection! Atmosphere was fun, great music, vibes, and art. Service was super, warmly welcomed in (even at the last hour), pizza was fast, delivered right to the table to enjoy with the family! Thank you to the two employees hustling all night( it was very busy) the pizza was delicious! 😋

My first time here. I was visiting a buddy of mine over the weekend and he wanted pizza. Many of my pizza favorites have a 45-60-minute wait on a Friday. Their wait was only 20 minutes for pick-up and that's a big plus. The service was friendly and efficient, with really cool staff, and picked up right on time. We devoured the Bacon Jamming. It looks burned with the not-so-attractive bacon jam topping but it was very good. The Solo Queso pizzas were also an excellent choice. Both were delicious and the crust was excellent and using quality ingredients. We also ordered a salad which was very fresh and yes, the Ranch dressing was amazing.

This is the most authentic, creative and delicious pizza ever. Seriously the homemade sourdough breading, various flavors and toppings are tastebud satifying. Some might say even healthy with vegetarian options. First time tasting but not our last.

The pizza is great! The pizza is not too thin and not too thick and it’s fluffy! The taste of the crust is delicious and the pizza isn’t greasy but just perfect! Highly recommend the pizza parlor!! We ordered the margarita, cheese and the works pizzas.

I'm so happy one of my girlfriends found this place because Pizza Parlor has become one of my favorites! The first time we came, we dined in and ordered 1 OG Margarita and 1 Bacon Jamming. It was delicious. :-) Today, I ordered takeout and decided to try Spicy Vodka Sausage and the food is just as good if not better. Great and friendly service, I will definitely be back soon!

Great sourdough Neapolitan style pizza with a crispy crust and great marinara. 1 Pizza can comfortably feed 2 adults but 1 Pizza is definitely better for next day leftovers. Great, helpful staff. Easy online ordering experience for pickup or delivery. Definitely my favorite local independent pizza. Weekly specials are always inspiring but the margarita is always a great choice too.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The pizza at this spot in Long Beach is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. The crust is perfectly crispy, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and each bite is just pure pizza bliss. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is just as incredible! Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they care about their customers and the quality of their food. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great pizza and even better service. I’ll definitely be back!

Everything here is homemade, the ranch dressing is full of fresh dill, I almost got too full for pizza! The pepperoni are the little cup variety, moderately spicy with that nice zing. The owner plays Motown and sings along, they have outside seating if you're sensitive to sounds though. He's a sweetheart though paying attention to every detail in the store. We'll be back, I think we just found our new pizza place!

SERVICE: Was greeted by the team upon entry. Even though the chefs are busy making pies, they were attentive to guests entering the shop. The ordering process was straight forward, there's a menu at the register, where you place your order. Chef Mike actually took our order and gave us his recommendations. We ordered and found a spot to seat as the shop is open seating. AMBIANCE: The shop is a vibe! It's clean, modern and spacious. Very clean, including the bathroom. From any seat in the shop, you have a great view of the open concept kitchen. You can see the pizzas getting made. The music was also a vibe. The playlist consisted of easy listening r&b and upbeat, but chill music. FOOD: First up; the House salad. It was fresh and vibrant with a huge portion of spring mix and plump cherry tomatoes and crunchy cucumbers. The dressing was on point! The Chef mention it was house made. I didn't ask what dressing it was but the dressing was SO GOOD.. with fresh dill.. it was a light but creamy dressing, definitely recommend. Next, the pizza really amazed me. It came out so fresh and piping hot. One Pizza filled my husband and I up easily with 4 slices each. Yes. We ate the whole thing! Key highlights of the pizza were the crust.. the crust was beautifully crispy with the perfect crunch. It was easily foldable to delivery the savory toppings. The sauce was just the perfect amount of acid, saltiness, sweetness that should be in a pizza sauce. It complimented the sourdough crust very well, in addition to the cheese, pepperonis and sausage-- we got the Double Trouble. Each bite was delicious with the right amount of pepperoni and sausage covering the pie. The pizza was not greasy at all. OVERALL: definitely a spot I would visit again to try the different other pies. Thanks for the great experience and food, Pizza Parlor team!

Pizza was excellent. Service very friendly. i had 1/2 Bacon Jamming and 1/2 Authentic Papa. Totally different flavors and both delicious and unique. Would order both again, but I will be trying other options first. Butcher block tables inside for 2 and 4 and a countertop along the window. A few tables outside too. Don't pass this place up if you are in the mood for delicious pizza.

Mike answered the phone, took my order and was so very nice, even gave me a glass of water while I waited for my pies. I'm confused, the pictures of the Spicy Vodka sausage pizza has cilantro n a creamy drizzle.The description says basil. Also, it was not spicy at all. NONE of their pizza has cilantro on it. I bought this one and the TJ Panther. My husband n I were not fans, Not a lot of flavor. The sauce was lacking in seasoning, the sourdough crust? Didn't taste like any sourdough I ever tasted. I will say their bathroom is immaculate with a masculine decor.

This place was delicious! Not a ton of seating, so it's maybe better as a takeout joint, but a few indoor tables. The pizza is SO legit. The sourdough crust has an authentically great sourdough flavor to it, the char on the dough is fantastic and the flavors are inspired. I got a pepperoni pizza for my son and then my wife and I split a really inventive one with rosemary, hot honey, béchamel sauce, spicy Italian sausage and sliced potatoes. It is my new favorite pizza in Long Beach. I can't recommend this place enough, you have to go check it out.

FIRE. Came for their meatball sammy, left with a slice of pepperoni and tiramisu. All were insanely good. Including the ranch. The sourdough crust is perfection. Go get it!

Wow!! So good! We finally tried Pizza Parlor this weekend and it was delicious. We tried the Bacon Jamming & Cheese pizza, both were very good. The ranch salad was also fresh and the ranch dressing was bomb! The service was impeccable from our phone in order, to picking up pizza. Parking was easy and shop is cute with a few tables. Highly recommend, the other plus from me - was not a 45min wait or longer on a Friday night - though I imagine that will change as people discover it. We will definitely put it into our regular rotation.

No clue what Charles C is on but this is amazing pizza. Immaculate service from Chef Mike The music makes the experience 10x better. Best pizza in Long Beach, give it a try!

First time trying very good. The crust was good not soggy, not greasy, just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Definitely will order from them again.

We came across the Pizza Parlor on instagram and decided to stop by for dinner. When I tell you they exceeded expectations, this pizza is bomb. I had the Bacon Jamming which was packed with flavor from the foundational homemade sauce to the caramelized onions on top. My friend had a half cheese half Double Trouble (they are more than accommodating to your order specifications) and truly enjoyed it. We had the opportunity to meet one of the co-owners and had some great conversation with him while we enjoyed our pizzas. The interior of the shop is a standard pizza parlor, complete with dining tables both in and outside and a window bar with stools. Definitely will return to try all of their flavors, support your local business and come try a slice here at The Pizza Parlor! (Sorry for the crumb-y pictures, we forgot to take them before diving in!)

This place was hopping tonight, with good reason. I ordered online to pick up. Staff were super friendly and welcoming to everyone who came in. I decided to try the Bacon Jamming (minus the pickled red onion). Honestly, the flavors were perfection. They had a good red sauce, tasty bombs of onion jam, and good sized chunks of bacon that all blended together seamlessly. If you like a thin thin crust, you'll enjoy this one. Despite being thin it wasn't too crispy, and had a good flavor as well. It's a small place but there's indoor seating if you want to eat in instead of grabbing your pie to go. They also offer a salad, a few dessert options, and some good drink options (gotta love a place with a Shirley Temple on the menu).

Tried pizza parlor for the first time. We got the TJ pizza and the double trouble. The sourdough crust is absolutely delicious. Toppings were yummy and fresh. Only gripe is that when you pick up a slice, literally all of the toppings slide right off. I don't know if it was too much sauce, but this was definitely a fork and knife kind of pizza. Definitely not something you could pick up. Service was nice, it's a small place so I would recommend take out.

They've only been open for five months so they might not have the kinks out yet, but the place seems like they're operating by the seat of their pants. It took 45 minutes to get two pizzas out, one of which was made wrong. A brisk take out business but people were also waiting and getting grumpy. The pizzas were okay, but with so much good pizza in Long Beach right now, I'm not sure it's worth it. Parking is impossible but that's not really their fault.

The pizza was disgusting. Sorry for the bad review but we eat a lot of pizza and we took on bite and threw it out.

After enjoying many pies at Ottimo was eager to try the new incarnation Pizza Parlor and was impressed! We tried the special smoked brisket which was great but it is the crust the truly sings here, absolutely perfect sourdough, baked at just the right crispness on the edges and enough in the center to give the pie some body but not make it heavy. With the trend of specialty pizzas these days, it's all about the crust, and Pizza Parlor nailed it. Would've been a five stars if not for an awkward service moment I watched with another customer. Not Parlor's fault, but it happened, so hoping to revise on my next visit. Regardless, right now this is the crust to beat in the LBC.

Great pizza! The sourdough crust is outstanding. Thick enough to be classified as standard pizza, but, thin enough at the slice edges to be folded nearly NY style. The flavor of the crust is incredible. Good ratio of sauce, cheese, and toppings on the three different pies I've eaten so far. Nothing to complain about with this pizza. Parking lot is frequently full, but, there is parking on the residential street just past the parking lot. This is a very minor inconvenience when ordering takeout. Takeout is the way to go as the seating area is rather small. The salad was also not worth ordering. They should probably just take this off the menu. All around, I've been back a few times because I so thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and this is a great option in the area.

Best pizza in the area. I've tried several spots over the years, and I can honestly say pizza parlor is my favorite. The dough is amazing, ingredients are fresh, and flavors are delicious. Love this new addition to Long Beach! Just try it, it won't disappoint!

This is the best pizza I've ever had. Full stop. Incredible sourdough crust that is crispy yet chewy, tangy, flavorful sauce, and super high quality toppings. It all comes together to make a pizza that comes at a premium price but is worth every bite. A must try for anyone looking for the perfect slice.

This Cinco de Mayo special is out of bounds! The addition of the salsa is perfect (I actually could drink it)! Craving a bit of onion on this one. Run and get it this weekend!

Pizza Parlor is out of this world delicious! Josh & Mike's vision is clean, simple and all about making good food for 'just 1' or family style. The sourdough pizza crust is top-notch. My current fav is the Margherita and I'm so excited to check out more!

Had a really great pizza from Pizza Parlor! The crust was DELICIOUS and definitely my favorite part. The LA Taco was so good and very balanced (I hate it when the crust to toppings balance is off). I'm really excited to go back and try their other options! I did also order the "Mega" Cheesecake and expected it to be larger than it was due to the name, that being said it was a delicious home style cheesecake!

This place is excellent! Great sourdough pizza, delicious salad and excellent costumer service! The sauce had the perfect amount of spice along with a nice tang, but not too much of either! The crust is perfect with crunch on the outside and soft within! we enjoyed the TJ Panther... sheer pizza magnificence!

This may be the best pizza I've ever had, period. The sourdough crust was perfectly thin and crispy with great chew. The sauce was fresh and so was the basil. Great cheese ratio. This is obviously the Margarita pizza. We also got the 777 I think, which was spicy and took us by surprise. It was delicious but neither of us can handle spicy (anymore. Aging is hard ). The service was great! Such friendly people who were also jokesters which made it a very comfortable atmosphere and the food came out fast. Nothing more to say except you gotta try it. Ok, actually my one critique is that a name like Pizza Parlor is very broad and I couldn't find a sign that said "Pizza Parlor" . I swear on the billboard with all the restaurant names it says "pizza place" or something like that, but they both don't sound like real names, you know?! So I was a bit confused. Thankfully you can see the stacked pizza boxes from outside.

Way too light on the cheese. I've had 7-8 pizzas from here and I sometimes can't even tell if there's any cheese at all, but crust and toppings are really good. Probably my favorite dough of all time. Triple the cheese portion and you'll be 100% best pizza around.

Went back again! Chef Mike and his crew did it again we had the pepperoni, blanco, and margherita. He even made us a special pepperoni Sicilian so we could try it. Feels so welcoming and comfortable. They greet us with joy, kindness, familiarity. I love it! The red sauce and crust are amazing!

The sourdough pizza crust is uniquely different and super yummy. We got BLANCO SIN SALSA pizza and Miso Caesar salad was sooooo Ono!!! We will be back soon

We got the 777 pizza and the Double Trouble pizza. Both were very good. I also got a tiramisu which was also good. Not the best I've had, but close. The prices also felt fair. I'd definitely come back.

Yummy pizza with friendly service. I can't think of the last time I had quality pizza like this. The ingredients are fresh. The flavor is there, and one doesn't feel gross or heavy after having a few slices. I'd definitely come again and try more.

Gave two stars because the gal behind the counter was friendly. Noticed this place for a while, since we live so close, thought it would be awesome to find a pizza place closer to us...we go to Fresh Brothers in Redondo Beach weekly. Ordered the pepperoni with extra cheese (addl $4.00) hubby always tries just a basic pep pizza on first time visits, figures you either make a good pizza or you don't. When we opened the box we saw plenty of pepperoni, but no cheese, picked up a slice to put on a plate and the whole topping fell off, as did the other 3 slices our kids picked. Very little cheese was used, so I wonder either we didn't get the "extra" cheese and were ripped off for $4 bucks or what does a pizza look like if you don't add extra cheese? Either way, if you're looking for a cheesy pizza idk if this is the place to go. It's greasy, lots of char on the crust that falls all over you and your table. The crust after the char falls off is good, I will say that. The interior is really nice, they have a good amount of staff, but only one person acknowledge us when we came in, no biggie everyone is entitled to who they want to greet. Glad we tried, instead of passing by and wondering.

Their sourdough crust is phenomenal. Great sourness and chew that's indicative of a good starter. As a Long Beach local, I can easily say it's currently the best sourdough (yes, even better than its current competition). The flavor combinations are just alright in my opinion, but pricing makes up for it. I can't put a finger on it, there's something missing in their execution to really make this place beyond exceptional. There's already a few great places in the area that have great menu items, but not THIS CRUST. They're still a newer shop and I'm sure they'll lock in even better options soon. For now, if I want sourdough, I go here. Must try for anyone in search of sourdough pizza. I keep coming back just for that sour, chewy, greatness.

Pizza Parlor fills the artisanal craft pizza void for east LB/Lakewood. Their ingredients are fresh, their dough is and their customer service is top notch. I love that they have a variety of pizzas on their daily menu plus rotating specials (unlike other pizza restaurants who shall remain nameless). My fave on the regular menu is the bacon jammin, but if they bring back the brisket esquites YOU GOTTA TRY IT!

I'm not a pizza lover but my husband is. We stubbled into the Pizza parlor about a month ago. We enjoyed it so much that we ate it twice that day. Love the combinations, originality and how liberal they are with their toppings. As my husband would say, bomb dot com.

Honestly, the best pizza in Long Beach. Ordered two pizzas for take out, the friendliest staff, such an upbeat atmosphere I wish I had stayed to eat it there! The sourdough crust is incredible, and the sauce is clearly homemade! This has set the bar high for pizza in LB- I can't see myself going anywhere else now but here.

We ordered a half and half pizza and Caesar salad to go. Pizza and salad enough food for two nights worth of eating. Nice fresh salad and the pizza was fresh and flavorful. We were very pleased.

The pizza was pretty good with a wonderful tasting crust and great customer service. If there was anything I would have liked to be better, it would be them adding more cheese on the double trouble pizza.

Friendly pizza shop featuring SOURDOUGH crust which means it digests so much better. No bloating allowed! Pepperoni is juicy, crispy and delicious. Sausage bits are flavorful across the whole pie too. I wanted to take some home but I ended up eating the whole pizza. Oops. I guess I'll have to come back!

Fast and fresh! Definitely a upper quality pizza. I'm glad it's right around the corner from my house. The staff is very friendly. Very happy camper here.

Incredible Pizza Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. The crust is the star here and they have many different styles of pizza that just work. Really recommend the Authentica Papa. Always been a pepperoni and sausage guy, but the honey and potatoes work so well! Drove 30 minutes to try it, and will gladly do it again. Must try!

Found this new pizza place on google. My husband and I LOVE checking out new pizza places and this one is makes one of the top on our list! The bread was perfectly cooked and had great sourdough flavor. The sauce was flavorful but not overwhelming. Bacon was of top quality and the jam brought the pizza together! Great service and friendly staff. We are definitely coming back to try a different pizza on the menu!

The potato pizza is bomb. Sounds weird. Must try. This place does sourdough pizza dough. Who knew it would be so delicious.

So we got two pizzas, one Double trouble and one TJ Panther...the sourdough was unique and truly amazing. They were both delicious, the seasoning was on point, and savory. We made a phone order and was helped by Nathaniel, who was super helpful, cheery, and kind. Great phone experience. When we went in the store we were helped by Nathaniel also who was just like over the phone, kind, helpful, nice, and welcoming. We will definitely be back, and have a found a new place to add to our roster!

5 stars for taste and vibes. 4 stars for customer service although if they're going for "treat your customers like family" then it makes up for the lack of 5 star service. You walk in, and you feel like you're walking into a family dinner that you're invited to (unfiltered conversations and all) Plus their food is beyond amazing.
