Got the salad and it was big and yummy with their shredded ham and cheese. My kids and husband tried the meat madness and a bacon chicken ranch pizza. Also had a half cheese and pepperoni. Everything was so yummy

After seeing multiple reviews on Jalapeno Popper Pizza I started a quest to find one I like the best. My first adventure is Pizza Planet on Paramount for a 14" pie, some Munchies and a Chef Salad for the wife. The flavor was on point with what I would expect a Popper Pizza to taste like. The cream cheese sauce was very smooth, flavorful and tasty. Bacon was crisp and a nice amount of jalapenos. The only issue I have is the ingredients to crust ratio. I know it's a hand tossed crust but I would still prefer the toppings spread more evenly throughout the crust.

This has been my favorite pizza place since I was a child. I inherited my mom's love of the taco pizza. I am just so happy that you guys are still around. Best pizza ever!

I ordered a pizza from this place and have for decades. The pizza I got was a 4 topping pizza and it had very little toppings on it. I would call it skimpy. I talked to the general manager and he said I made it. It looked pretty good to me. Didn’t make it right and wanted to argue with me. I have to say this is the last time I ever go to pizza planet. What a true disappointment. Normally there is a lot of toppings and it just looked skimpy on everything including the sauce. Not what I have ever been accustomed to from pizza planet.

Small pizza and a pitcher of cold Michelob Ultra $28 then a decent tip. Less than 40 bucks. No frills establishment, great pizza... cold cold beer.

I've had side salad bigger and better than this chef salad, and this was the third time to be disappointed! I walked in, ordered 2 chefs salads with ranch dressing to go. 16.50 later, I get home with 2 containers with barley anything in them...very very small portion of lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese on top--one cracker package each and one container, only half filled with ranch dressing in each container...no Canadian bacon, no black olives...I'm furious!! I new the bag felt extremely light, and should have checked in the car, but I figured since it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon or so, and I walked in and waited...surely it would be right! Come on guys, do better...I won't be back!!

I really do love Pizza Planet, however everytime I dine at the Paramount location the consistency in the pizzas is subpar. So I switch to the Bell Location and everytime we order the pizza it is spot on. Cuz you know when you’re craving something it has to be exactly what you were craving, or the craving isn’t cured. The disappointing difference is the crust; the thickness of the crust, the length and temp of the pizza (sometimes burnt and sometimes under cooked, sometimes thick, other times thick) , the freshness of the ingredients (spoiled ranch dressing, mildewed lettuce, quickly tomatoes or dry) It’s not the end of the world; I just wanted to let you know.. also I do appreciate the 25% off . Thank you for that; much appreciated!

Pizza planet has been a favorite place of mine since 5 yrs old.i still love it today keep up the great work!!

It was really good the service was really good and the attitude was good. Fresh food was worth the stop.

We absolutely loved this place! Was a little skeptical as it was an older building and a bit on the sketchy side. However the food and staff didn't disappoint! They were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and piping hot! Everything was spot on and we would 100% come back! Sometimes the skeptical places are the best! And this one definitely was!!!

We were looking for a quick snack in this place really delivered. Period it was top notch. Absolutely amazing. We called in an order for pick up and they took longer than they quoted but that's fine. It was definitely worth the wait. From a quick Google search, I found they have several these locations in the New Mexico region. When you get to different states you find regional restaurants that are worth giving a try. This is definitely worth trying out. Better than your big three big market pizza chains for sure. This company really goes out of the way. The source fresh product and everything was simply amazing. We will definitely come back when we're in the area for sure. The customer service was really good as well. The lady over the phone was quite pleasant to talk with and very friendly. We even made a few jokes. Do yourself a favor and give them a shot

Found out PP has a cauliflower crust so I ordered a meat lovers with cauliflower crust and 14 wings. Love the amount of toppings on the pizza. I'm giving 4 stars because I'm not sure the crust was cauliflower but rather their regular crust, which is a hazard for us "Keto" people. However the wings were awesome!

During college and after, we lived in Amarillo for 36 years and have been going back to see family for another 11 years....47 years of eating here. In my younger days, I was all about their daily lunch pizza buffet. In the last 10 years, we've been obsessed with their simple chefs salad... shredded iceberg lettuce, shredded ham, grated cheddar and black olives. Then, top w/ one of the superbly creamy, homemade dressings and it's hard to beat. (My wife likes the Thousand Island, I prefer the garlic.) Tonight, my wife wanted lasagna and I opted for the meatball sandwich. The pasta was quite tasty and my sammie was superb!! It was served with a fresh pickle spear and Ruffles. (What's not to like about that!) Simple and satisfying. Top it off with an ice cold Shiner Bock draft....perfection!! Pizza Planet has been around at least 50 years. It's very plain; zero ambiance. However, it's very consistent and dependable and has been for at least 5 decades. Friendly staff and fair prices; what more could you ask for from this Amarillo institution?

Dependable for decades! I had lunch here today, and it was perfection! You can't go wrong with their Chef Salad and Canadian Bacon Pizza. It was sooo good today. Magically delicious!

Incredible toppings and a really good value. After all these years it's still the best pie in Amarillo.

Almost $16.50 after tax for half a to-go box of ice berg lettuce, ham, cheese & black olives. GET REAL. WAY over priced for what you get and the manager, Rob, is an a$$hole. I'll go to the bell location next time, if ever.

It's all about the jalapeño popper pizza. I've never had anything like it. Sour cream instead of sauce. Topped with jalapeños and bacon! A wonderful indulgence.

Good pizza, but not great pizza. Was disappointed that there was no arcade. Prices were good.

I ordered a pizza at 7:30 PM on a Sunday night in October. They said it would arrive in one hour. At 8:40, it had not arrived, and I called to check on it. They said the driver was "on the road". By 9:00, it had still not arrived, so I called them back. They wouldn't answer the phone. It finally arrived at 9:10, and when the driver arrived, I asked what happened. He said "there was trouble with the cook", whatever that means. Sorely disappointed and will not return.

Had lunch here during a family reunion; at least at lunch on Sunday afternoon, it's mostly buffet service, with a small salad bar and pizza. I heard some patrons ordering pasta dishes, so apparently those are available on the buffet "on demand"; I did not partake of that. The pizza is fairly forgettable, better than CiCis, but not by a lot. At least it was hot, and some of the toppings were OK, but you're not going to find gourmet anything here. Bottom line: Bring the kids here instead of CiCis for something slightly more tolerable to adults. Other possible uses include something to stuff the stomach after a bender, or starving students, as the price is right.

I really love the pizza i just get tired of them getting my order wrong ...this is the second time in a row i checked it before i left the store for a carryout after waiting 25 minutes an then it was like oh we sorry can u wait another 25 an didnt even care i mean really ..thats how u take care of ur customers i mean horrible guest service ...

I really enjoy their pizza. They are always prompt on their delivery. I love their Taco Pizza! I don't get it often but when I am hungry for it, it always hits the spot! I believe they put more toppings on their pizzas then most of the places here in Amarillo. They also have pretty good salads, sandwiches, and sides. I haven't tried their pasta so I can't review them. But Pizza Planet works out great when the grandkids are here and wanting pizza

I really don't know how this place has good reviews. It looked so promising! I ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza, small apple dessert pizza and a two liter Dr. Pepper. I was told it was going to be 30min to an hour. It took 2 hours and a phone call to get it. When I did finally get it my drink was missing and the pizza was cold. It looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The crust was so hard my dog couldn't even chew it. I've had frozen pizza thats tasted better. Then when I called to ask about my drink they acted like they had no idea I had even ordered it. Talked about me while I was still on the phone as if it was an inconvenience to have to bring me the drink. The manager Lisa was rude and condescending and actually huffed when I told her I didn't want to wait another hour and half for a new pizza and that I just wanted my money back. I would not recommend this place. Do yourself a favor and just go to Pizza Hut.

YUM - best pizza in Amarillo!!! Their cauliflower pizza crust is unreal!!! Such great service and delicious food!

Pizza Planet has been here forever and if they continue to "load" the pizzas, yum!!! Pizza planet loads the pizza with toppings and cheese!! So good!! You can't go wrong with any of the food on the menu! Must try the buffalo fries!

We drove over 8 hours from Denver to spend the night in Amarillo before continuing on. The clerk at our hotel recommended this place over the other local selections and that was good enough for me. The order taker advised it would be 35 minutes. Almost an hour later we called and were told "the driver left a long time ago". Which did not bode well for fresh, hot pizza. Over an hour later it arrived and the driver wouldn't offer more than, 'I don't know about the time. They gave me pizza and said to deliver it'. Does not speak well of organization. I called to speak to a manager who told me 'our times are 45 plus, you got your food, what more do you want'. Very unprofessional. If I hadn't paid with a credit card, I would have canceled once it hit an hour. Customer service here is absolutely abysmal.

The first pizza I got (Meat Lovers) was awful! And I was so upset after waiting an hour to get a soggy pizza with warm ranch dressing. Reluctantly I called to complain the manager immediately said he will make a pepperoni pizza personally for me, and it was delivered (by the manager!) in less than 20 minutes. Most importantly the pizza tasted way better. I believe that an amateur chef would be to blame for messing up a pizza. That's not necessarily Pizza Planet's fault and I'm glad they made it right. Traveling from CA to OK and stopped here for pizza. We ordered the meat madness and it mostly has sausage. If you're looking forward to hot link on the pizza forget it. There is also almost no sauce on the pizza. It is very dry.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! My family and I visit almost every weekend, especially for the Sunday pizza buffet. The pizza is always good, chef salad is HUGE, but don't go expecting the best service.

The pizza is great but if want to eat any don't go. but if you're gonna eat just cupcakes you can call dibs on all the tables and take up all the room so no one else can have a place to sit. The wait staff was no help and offer a folding card table for us to use. very dissatisfied with the service.

Had a pizza delivered to my hotel at the recommendation of the desk clerk (I prefer to use local places). Was I ever glad I did! This was one of the top 5 pizzas I have ever had-and I've had plenty! The crust, as requested, was thin but not at all papery and was absolutely LOADED with toppings. Since I had only ordered Canadian bacon and pineapple, I was surprised that there was not one part of the crust that was not covered. Taste was delicious! Delivery did take a while, but driver was pleasant and courteous. Quality takes time and this was well worth the wait!

I like going for their Buffet, but every time we call in a pizza they get it wrong, wouldn't count on them for accuracy.

I'm all about the buffet here. Overall good pizza but nothing to right home about. The salads are great and I usually wouldn't say a,salad is ever great lol. This is a fun family place to bring the kids and eat pizza without going broke. Everything is up to pair, though Sunday buffet can get seriously crowed. A local pizzeria dive but nothing amazing, but a good steady as well.

One of my favorite pizza places of all time. I love their crust! The salads are HUGE and fresh. It truly has something for everyone.

The chef salad was a glob of cheese and ham with just a bit of lettuce. The pizza supreme looked like dogfood kibbles (the sausage) sprinkled on top with very little cheese. Yuck. Would never order from here again.

My husband and I have always loved the pizza. I've been coming here for 40 years and now when our grandkids come to visit from Ohio, Pizza Planet is their number one request! Best prices and value in town!

The pizza buffet is really good! Salad bar and drinks are included, as well as to-go cups for your drinks. All for $8.50. Nice servers. Will stop in again soon.

Best Pizza in town and best delivery service. I ordered pizza for a birthday party to be delivered at a specified time and it was delivered within 5 minutes of scheduled time. We have been going there for years and highly recommend.

Best pizza buffet in Amarillo -but there is definitely better pizza in town ( non buffet). Better pizza than poppa johns and some others. Beyond the pizza though we do order the salads from here pretty often. Very full of meat cheese an toppings. Great salads.

Not the best Amarillo has to offer. Dark, dirty, smells like smoke and the decor is horribly outdated. The food is OK at best. The pizza lacks any sauce and they appear to use a VERY low quality cheese. I won't be back.

The pizza here is out of this world. The salad bar is great. Takeout is fresh and hot and quick. Loved it.

We were traveling through town and had a coupon from restaurant.com. They honored it on everything we purchased. We had a pizza, salad and beer. The pizza was good, hot and generous with toppings. The crust was thicker than we like. They don't offer a thin crust on the menu. The salad was good/basic and a big portion. The dressing they said was homemade and tasted good. The service was a little slow and we had to get up to get my husband a drink after he ordered it but never received it. All in all, if you want pizza, this place is worth a try.

This is a really good place to grab lunch or just pizza in general especially on the cheap. The pizza tastes good, not quite up there with the fancy pizza places, but still really good. This location in particular never skimps on the toppings as you almost can see the cheese on some of their pizzas because their are so many toppings though you know it's their once you bite into it. The store is always very clean and organized and has an overall better atmosphere than traditional pizza buffet, in that it feels more welcoming. The staff is always extremely kind and quick to help on both dining in orders and take out orders. If you are look for a great "cheat meal" during the week that won't make you feel really guilty try their cauliflower pizza, although I know it may sound crazy you I don't think you could tell the difference unless you did a side by side comparison and it is so much better for you.

I ordered 2 pizzas online with original crust but received thin crust. When I called and spoke with the manager she told me they only have thin crust. I know this to be false because when I have eaten inside the restaurant at the buffet they serve original crust. The manager didn't offer to correct the order or offer a discount, all she did was apologize and say they only have thin crust. I will now only order from the restaurant on Bell street.

Service and food was excellent! Thank you Aubrey for your friendly service! Our drinks never went empty, you were always smiling, and very prompt! Food was hot and delicious! Portions were great, the whole family was satisfied! We will definitely return and request for Aubrey to serve us again!

Horrible service. Tried to order online, system not working. Called and was told to "refresh" screen. Seriously? Refreshed and opened new browsers multiple times...not working. Their website for the paramount location is down and they are too ignorant to realize it. Goes elsewhere. Don't waste your time!

This is the best pizza place ever! My wife and I go all the time the server is great, the pizza is great, and the beer is cold and good! And the price is the best!

Greatest Pizza in Amarillo, maybe even the Whole Texas Panhandle.... They go above and beyond with the toppings and the price is Great Too.... I ordered a large two topping Pizza, Cheesy Bread and two drinks and it was less than $23.... (The same order at Pizza Hut will run you well over $35)They have Very Friendly Servers and a Great Staff....I also eat their Buffet sometimes, One of the Largest and Best Buffets in Amarillo by far.... If you want Great Pizza and Great Service at a Great Price there is no other place than Pizza Planet. Anybody who doesn't give this place 5 stars should stick to your lame ass, barely any cheese, and even less toppings pizza hut and la bellas.

We were passing through Amarillo and in the mood for pizza and gave this place a try. Not the most attractive ambiance or decor but the salad was fresh and the pizza was pretty darn good. They don't skimp on the cheese or toppings and the crust is thin and crispy with a little chew. As a pizza fanatic I can't say it was the best I ever had, but I'd get it again and it's way better than Pizza Hut or any chain pizza.

We drove from California to Amarillo as the start to a 1 week (6 state) road trip. My fiancé looked up pizza places in Amarillo and came across Pizza Planet. We decided to stop by because of the name (Toy Story's pizza place haha). All I can really say is YUM YUM YUMMMMMMM!!!! We got a half pepperoni half combo and it was perfect. The toppings were cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. I don't usually like crunchy crust but this place is an exception. My picky 4 year old couldn't get enough. Pizza Planet come to California!!!!! Haha.

Personally I love pizza planet. It has that little taste in it that not many other pizza places have.

On Jan 31, 2017 I ordered a few pizzas & a few salads from them. I live in Austin and paid ($47.95) with it over the phone with a credit card. A customer of mine picked up the food. I asked Pizza Planet to text me a picture of the receipt which they did that shows a $47.95 credit card receipt. I just checked my credit card bill and they added $4.00 more dollars $51.95) which is not a huge amount. It's just enough where most people wouldn't catch it. But I did. It's a shame the place is shady AF.
