Pizza Port San Clemente

Pizza Port never disappoints! The crust is so soft, fluffy, and perfectly baked, and every bite is packed with flavor. I love that they let you do 1/2 and 1/2—perfect when everyone wants something different. We also got the small salad, and it was surprisingly big! It’s definitely enough to split for four, but we shared it between the three of us and it was just right. Always a solid spot for great food and good vibes!

We waited for 20-30 minutes but they were making it fresh so that is to be expected. Pizza was really good, and hit the spot but I just wish it was a bit more flavorful? We loved how fluffy the crust and dough were though. Maybe it’s on me and I should have added some red pepper flakes 😆

This is arguably our favorite Pizza place in California. The overall taste of the pizza is amazing. We love the standard pepperoni, BBQ chicken, and Hawaiian. Not to mention, you may find your new favorite drink here! Also the wings are absolutely worth taking a chance on. If you get the chance to sit on the balcony, its one of the best experiences you could possibly pay for in a meal. Plan for it to be pretty busy but its worth the wait. Good view + good weather + great pizza = paradise!!

Pizza Port – San Clemente is hands down a must-stop for pizza lovers! The sauce has that perfect balance of sweet and savory that keeps you coming back for more. The crust is everything you could want—perfect thickness with just the right amount of doughiness, making every bite satisfying without being heavy. The pepperoni packs a bold, robust flavor that pairs beautifully with the incredible cheesiness of each slice. And let’s talk about that cheese pull—chef’s kiss perfection! 🍕 A true slice of heaven in San Clemente.

The place is super busy and for good reason! The pizza packs full of flavor and the cheese really stands out on that flavor. We got a large pepperoni and fried macaroni and cheese. Both very good and can’t complain. They had an arcade but my mission was to pick up and go, so I did not explore the arcade. There is also a brewery/bar, I unfortunately did not have anything from there but it must be good with the amount of people trying to grab a glass of refreshments. This is a must eat pizza! This was our first time eating here, we just traveled from Tucson.

Love Pizza Port. Great pizza. Great beer at a reasonable price. Ranch on tap. 🤤 It does get loud on the weekends, so make sure if you're looking for a quiet place during the weekend you take that into consideration. Bartenders are super chill too and are always willing to let you try a sample. Cheers to the best pizza place in So Cal. 🍻

Finally made it here after hitting every other Pizza Port location. Same great vibes, a unique layout, some unique brews. Can’t beat the PP formula!

We found this place last night and had such great food and beer so had to bring our vegan friend to try, as well, tonight! Pizzas were Really Good and we 💗 dark beers and found Dawn to Dusk phenomenal!! So worth it!!!

10/10 would recommend! They sell slice of pizza until 3 everyday. Cheese pizza is $3 and pepperoni is $3.50. It was pretty fulfilling and pretty good! They also have a bar and an upstairs area! Seating outside and inside too. Staff were super cool and helpful.

We went to San Clemente today on the Metro from Orange to attend the San Clemente street fair. It is a $10 round trip ticket. I recommend the metro to everyone who wants to go from LA to Oceanside and vice versa. We were famished and ordered a large pepperoni pizza for 3. The restaurant is large with upstairs and outside seating. It took about 15 mins for our pizza as they were busy. There's one line for pizza and another for the beer. The pizza is perfectly baked, great amount of sauce, cheese and pepperonis. It was a delicious pizza! Definitely recommend and will return.

Im on the side of 5 stars for this spot. The pizza is awesome and well priced. I love that you can hop in and grab a slice or two and a beer without breaking the bank. Pizza style is thin, and they usually have a daily special by the slice. A slice will run you around 3 or 4 bucks. There beer is great, obviously. I tried the German pilsner and it was refreshing and crisp.

Pizza Port is always solid for lunch. They have a good deal where you get two slices of pepperoni and a craft beer for $13. Pizza is tasty and beer is always cold. Bartenders are cool and will let you sample the beer before deciding. Upstairs and downstairs bars with TVs at both. Also have an outdoor patio on both floors if you would like to take in the San Clemente views.

4 stars due the food being bomb I'd give less for the wait time. We ordered wings and two 10inch pizzas. One cheese and one cheeseburger. We waited one hour for our food. Even the wait for our other friends salad was 45min. But unfortunately there's wings were amazing the pizza is great. They had a $5 pint of one of their beers so that's fun, at least you can grab those without waiting hours.

I LOVE PIZZA PORT! This has always been a go to spot for me and my family in San Clemente and I love it! The salads and pizza and veggie tray are all great and never disappoint. They have so many great options and you can get as much ranch as you need with the self serve ranch pumps WOOOO!! The hearts of palm pizza is the fav right now and I look forward to the next time we go and get it!!!!

First time at Pizza Port. Decided to meet here with some friends in town. Seems like a staple in the San Diego area for both pizza and beer. The San Clemente location is a two story brewpub with many benches, outdoor seating, and even arcade games. We decided to get half Pizza Monterrey and half Pizza Bressi Ranch. I had low expectations but the pizza was honestly good! Hefty toppings. Good sauces. The Bressi Ranch is super unique and delicious. Location is a little busy. Also gets really hot inside. Beer is okay. Overall seems like a place you can't go wrong with but by no means best pizza in town.

I ain't gonna talk about how legitimately legendary the beer is. I ain't gonna talk about how I was raised right in between their two most classic and bitchin locations (Solana OG and Carlsbad effing village) I ain't gonna talk about the memories, the nostalgic moments post surf / skate and blenders. First time at Pizza Port San Clemente and we were seriously impressed! From the moment we walked in, we loved how spacious it was--plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your meal. We ordered two pizzas and a salad, and everything came out fairly quickly, which was a nice surprise. The pizza was delicious, loaded with flavor, and definitely lived up to the hype. The overall vibe of the place was super chill and welcoming. Great spot for casual dining with great food and good energy. We'll definitely be back! .

Love Pizza Port for their delicious pizza and enjoyable microbrew!. This place is a super cool hang out, but not as spacious as the Carlsbad location. Been a fan of the franchise for years, and I always recommend this place to friends. The only negative about the SC location is the limited parking.

Love this location. Parking upstairs is preferred. Order downstairs and feast upstairs. Lots of old school arcade games for the kids. Of course the food is awesome and priced well for the custom pizzas. Service was much faster here over the Carlsbad location. Love the true California coast vibe.

Not all mozzarella sticks are created equal and the ones at Pizza Port are top tier. The breading was light with just the right amount of crunch. And the cheese pull was insane. The texture and flavor is similar to Oaxaca cheese which I absolutely love. Okay, can we talk about the marinara sauce because jar marinara, who? This shit was tart and straight from someone's garden. As for the pizza situation, I finally broke up with pesto and ventured elsewhere. We split a medium pizza into two halves ($24-$25ish): -Pizza Lahaina: Canadian style bacon, pineapple, bell peppers, and onions -Pizza Roma: Canadian style bacon, pepperoni, sausage, salami, onions, olives, bell peppers + mushrooms Order the Lahaina if you love a good pineapple pizza. The version here includes bell peppers and onions which breaks up the usual ham/pineapple combo. It helps break up the sweetness and gives the slice a little more texture. Crust and toppings = *chef's kiss. Pizza and beer is queen at Pizza Port. Pizza Port post pandemic was everything I thought it'd be: lively and family friendly. I'm entirely here for the vibes.

From 4 to 5 stars because I LoVe this place!!!! Food is delicious every time we eat here!!! And no I have no food pictures because I'm so hungry that I forget to take pictures. Trust me it's good! People are nice, place is clean and lots of seating.

I went to Pizza Port during sunset hour, and it was such a vibe! They have outdoor seating downstairs (perfect if you're bringing your pups ) and also plenty of seating upstairs where you can catch the most stunning sunset views. They've got two bars one upstairs and one downstairs so you're never too far from a drink. We ordered the 15 hot buffalo wings, and omg, each one was so flavorful and juicy, with carrots and super crunchy celery on the side. We also got the Margherita Classic and the Bressi Ranch pizzas. Both were absolutely delicious and totally worth the long wait. Whether you're going for sunset, good vibes, or just some bomb wings and pizza, Pizza Port is always a win!

We come to pizza port when we're craving some gooood crust :))) probably the best crust on a pizza I have tried in the OC! I ordered a special custom pizza with jalapeños, ricotta cheese, pineapples, red onions, and pepperoni, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Toppings were generous and pizza tasted great overall. The only recommendation I would make is for the employees to walk around more often and clean up the dirty tables after people leave because we can never grab a clean table when we get there :/ it is very loud in there just a heads up if you want a quiet dining experience this wouldn't be it . There is an upper and a lower level with tables on both levels. Upstairs, they have a small arcade and another bar top. There is also a patio on the lower level to dine outside. Pretty awesome pizza joint. It's worth checking out!

Hands down one of my favorite pizza spots that I recently discovered! The Pizza Monterey with mushrooms and artichokes all covers together so well. The chicken wings were baked, not fried making them really tender. The bartender at this location was super sweet and very personable. I'm not a beer drinker, but they offer various wines, and the Sunkissed orange seltzer which I loved. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in the area

Chicken BBQ a must Marguerite classic split. Wings also great awesome atmosphere. Family friendly may have a small walk to place never seen this place empty.

It's so doughy. Chewy. Very little cheese or sauce. Thank goodness they have tubs of ranch dressing to dip the huge crusts into. Beer and vibes are good for hanging out. But the pizza .... mmmeehhhhhh...

Great beers, decent prices, pizza is good, great place to bring kids. It's roomy, there's parking-which is a hot commodity in this town! They have LOTS of seating, 2 stories and an outdoor patio too. You get great views of the ocean from most spots. They also have a little arcade area upstairs that's great for the kids. Lots of interesting pizza combinations. They usually do a walk up service, which is fine and gives something for one of the party to do/bring the kids along to.

Great pizza! You can get pizza by the slice from 3 different flavors or any flavor for a whole pizza. Outdoor seating was nice and fresh. Spacious area and clean bathrooms. We'll be back!

Made a pit stop for a quick lunch on our way to San Diego. We ordered: Cali Creamin on nitro was so smooth with a clean finish. Cruisin pale ale was light refreshing . Easy to drink while eating Pizza Monterey hit the spot for us! Crust was perfectly fluffy yet crispy . Artichoke hearts perfectly cooked and blended well with the rest of the pizza . Garden salad was a garden salad. Nothing special. There's inside and outside patio seatings .

The dirtiest restaurant I've ever been in in my life. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The food was no better ! If you like blah crust with tomato paste, put on it and canned artichokes, then you might like the place .

This place never disappoints with great pizza. We had build your own pizza with sausage, pepperoni & artichokes. It was delicious. Easy for big groups as they have plenty of indoor seating & outdoor patio. Plus you order at the counter. Self service refills on soft drinks.

To Whom It May Concern, I'm writing to formally report a safety incident that occurred at your Pizza Port location on July 10 at approximately 8:10 PM. While entering toward the second-floor parking lot, my daughter slipped on what appeared to be discarded pieces of salad near the stairwell. This posed a serious hazard, and it's unacceptable that no preventative cleaning or signage was in place. As a general manager in the restaurant industry, I understand that accidents happen -- but how they're handled is what defines your operation. When I brought the issue to the manager on duty, it was met with a dismissive and careless attitude. No guest complaint form was offered, no apology was extended, and no effort was made to make things right. At the very least, we should have been offered a complimentary meal -- especially given that we were there to enjoy dinner, and it's not easy for families to dine out in today's economy. This situation was not only poorly managed, but it showed a lack of regard for guest safety and hospitality. I expect a follow-up on how your team plans to address this issue, both in terms of cleanliness and customer service, to ensure no other guest has to experience this. Name of manage on duty was Carson and general manager Braden nuxoll still hasn't done a single thing. Very sad for such a good establishment to get ruined by bad management

Pizza is so delicious. Something about their dough and how it's cooked. Definitely recommend this place. Pizza staff was friendly and very helpful. Beer menu was a little unorganized and hard to read. Guy working the bar area was a little off putting but overall good beer.

My wife and I are originally from the East Coast, and we love our pizza. We lived in Costa Mesa for a while, and Pizza Port was our favorite pizza in Orange County. I am a former brewer, and we always loved the beer, too. Now we live in San Diego. I hadn't been here in a number of years and I met up here with some colleagues. PP hadn't changed a bit, but I had. I am now vegan and I was a little concerned about what my options would be. I parked on Avenida de la Estrella, then later moved my car to the parking lot (you do know that they have one, right?) Pretty decent crowd for a Friday afternoon. I needn't have worried about the vegan options. I got the Laguna vegan-style with plant-based cheez. I don't know what brand they use, but the pizza was just as good as I remembered, and my colleague didn't seem to notice the difference. I don't know if I had ever tried the Belgian Tripel before, but it definitely hit the mark, and my colleague enjoyed one as well. I warned her that it was deceptively strong. It was smooth, with the right yeast flavor notes. I get the feeling that my colleagues and I will be back. One thing: why put cheese on the salad, PP? Why?

Came here for the first time and I was so excited as soon as I walked in. The spiral stairs are so cool and the decor adds to the cool vibe of this place. Although the place was packed, my order came out in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza was really good and the wings were bombbb!! I had a small CYO pizza with Signature Crust, Original Sauce, Pepperoni, Sausage, Bell Peppers, Mushrooms, Olives, Red Onions, Spinach and I ordered 6 Buffalo chicken wings and got 7 . Cool experience overall, definitely want to come back!

2nd Pizza Port location I've been too. Ocean Beach Pizza is the way to go. Like the ranch dispenser. Great crust. Beer is good. Though bartender here was rude, didn't want to take the time to talk about the beers, make recommendations. ID'ed everyone, my husband had to text me to come to the bar as the bartender wanted to check everyone's IDs. Nice location. Needs more outdoor seating.

I've eaten at other Pizza Port restaurants but this was my first visit to the one in San Clemente. It was crowded on a Sunday afternoon but worth the wait! The pizza, beer and staff were all great!

This place was great. Of course there were so many beer options, as well as pizza recommendations or you could build your own. You order up at the counter and then find seating. The kale salad was one of the best salads I've ever had. The kale went so good with the feta and the hearts of palm were a nice touch. The pizza had a perfect amount of toppings and cheese with every bite. The people taking our order we're all very nice and the food came out pretty quickly, despite it being a very busy Friday night. Lots of seating upstairs and downstairs.

For a place called Pizza Port you would think they would have decent pizza. What you get is doughy pizza, bland plasticky cheese and basic tomato sauce. The pizza is very mediocre. I also ordered the tater tots which are oven baked. Very meh. You have to salt them on your own. The service is decent. They will attend to you quickly but everything is ordered at the cashier. Female bartender in the first floor bar was nice and friendly. Family friendly environment with arcade games on the second floor.

Walking in, this place feels sticky. I feel like there's a lot of store and not a lot of sitting every time I go here. The food is good. The appetizers are sub par and if there's a rush of customers it takes over an hour to get a pizza regardless of size which is interesting since there ideally should be enough room in the oven to make a personal sized pizza while others are in there haha. Not saying later orders should be prioritized however it doesn't make sense in my head. Went with a group of friends and waited the hour for each of our pizzas cause it is WORTH it they do make delicious pizza but I would recommend calling it in beforehand if possible. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful.

This is our local spot for pizza (with beer crust), wings (triple baked), and craft beers (any and all!). The interior is chill vibes with old school surf pics, boards, and cool random stickers everywhere. The hubz and I usually order a medium pep, 'shrooms, jalapeños, and extra sauce pizza on beer crust, but you can't go wrong with any of their specialties...so good! We're fans of IPAs, and their changing menu never disappoints. I think you can view their selection (live stream) online. Wednesday ($0.75) wing night, and weekends are crowded, but the guys do an awesome job getting your order out hot and fresh (just be sure you hear your name when called!). Seating is sometimes hard to find during peak hours, but you'll always get one if you come right when they open...LOL! Everytime we've been, the staff who take your order are great, and service with a smile is always plus points! Cheers and happy eating till next time!

Soild pizzas and garlic bread (a.k.a "buddies"). Service is adequate. Tables usually require a quick wipe-down. Inside is loud, but fun.

The pizza was very good. I went in a Friday night and waited 45 minutes for my pizza. The restaurant had good theming, but not very clean. Candy and trash on the floor. I had to ask an employee to clean off a table once I found one. I do not recommend going on a weekend or Friday night unless you are ok for waiting a while for your food and wait around for a table to become available.

Sad day in pizza world! We've been ordering pizza port for years. Always enjoyed it tho on the expensive side. Thursday night we uber 2 pizzas and a dinner salad for $72 dollars. The pizzas were both terrible. No cheese and no sauce and way too much dough that wasn't even crispy. All four of us looked at each other after I few bits and said this is junk wtf? Never again. Off the list. And TJs closed too. Bummer!

Loved this spot for years, but when the power went down recently and they wouldn't sell pizza and gave no beer discounts for people who stayed, i lost some respect, but they do create some good beers and pizza.

Pizza was good. We had the Roma pizza and it was quite flavorful. But seriously, you need to shut this place down for a few days and really clean this place! It's dirty, sticky and quite the layer of grime. Sat here for 45 minutes and all the tables around us never got bussed. This is a management problem not the staff.

Pizza port is an awesome addition to SC. I went and tried the artichoke, cheeseburger and pepperoni pizzas. The service was great and all had good recommendations. The inside is huge and feels like a dining hall. The only downside is that it's a bit stuffy inside.

Most who live in Orange County know this place. Great beers and great pizza. They have a few unique pizzas that just hit right. I never knew heart of palm would be so good on a pizza. Parking sucks so we go on weekdays or when we spend a weekend in San Clemente.

This is probably one of my favorite pizza spots in OC! Not only is it by the beach, but it's also 2 stories with the ability to sit outside and watch the sunset. We ordered a small meet extreme meat pizza, which is basically a meat lovers pizza, and added jalapeños to it. We also ordered a side of buffalo wings. All that came out to around $25 and it filled 2 people up just the right amount. The pizza was perfectly doughy and had a good amount of toppings. The wings were also covered in sauce and the veggie sticks and ranch were the perfect pairing. I'd definitely come back to try their other pizzas or make my own. Don't skip out on this place! Parking is a little challenging, but definitely worth the hunt. The workers are also really nice and will call your name when your order is ready!

First of all, pizza port has my favorite beer!!! Chronic ale. But you know what? They have a beer for every one!!! Beers are absolutely amazing and the service!!! Wow!!! Tay just blew us away!!! Great job Taylor. Keep being amazing

LOVE the pizza here and the vibes. i'm not a local, but sure do feel welcomed and appreciated as i were. the variety of beer and pizza here is great. i ALWAYS get the good ol'831 monterey pizza . so much people gather here at all times of the day but it's still a fun and friendly ambiance with seats downstairs and upstairs, a little arcade and bathrooms for customers.

Little disappointed. We order from Pizza Port all the time, i placed an order for delivery and they forgot to give the delivery driver an item. Fine it happens, but they are making me deal with. I don't have a way to contact uber eats. We are trying to watch game 7, and now i have to deal with and I have no way to get my money back now. I've ordered from other local places in town before that have forgotten items and they've called and did the refund for me. They knew they forgot to give.

Bomb pizza!! Great salads and tons of beer. Has outside seating and an arcade up stairs as well as a bar. Night time is popping. Close to downtown and as well as the beach! Pizza and shopping!!
