I’ve brought clients to Pizza Republica regularly for years, often spending several hundred dollars per visit. On Tuesday, July 8, I came in around 3 PM and spent over $300 during a meeting. Shortly after being seated, a manager in a red shirt with tight curly hair informed us we needed to be finished by 6 PM, which I agreed to without issue.
At 6:01 PM, despite the restaurant being more than half empty, he came over abruptly and began clearing our drinks and menus without a word of courtesy. There was no polite request, no thank you , just an uncomfortable rush to get us out, even though we still had drinks and the table was not needed.
For a long-time customer who brings in consistent business, this treatment was not only unprofessional but downright disrespectful. It was embarrassing in front of my clients, and I’ve never experienced anything like it here before.
The only redeeming part of the visit was our wonderful server, Rachel who was warm, kind, and attentive.
Sadly, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. There are too many great options in the Landmark area that know how to treat their guests with respect.
