Sarah, working the front counter, is soooo nice! She is very quick, thorough and very sweet. I came in late looking for a spot to eat for an hour, and got the Chicken Parm sandwich. The Chicken Parm was literally the best I've ever had. Reading the last review, there is NO WAY Sarah could offend a sane person like that guy. You would have to be some kind of jerk from birth to not appreciate the top notch service at the front counter here. Sarah is the sweetest, and stays on top of everything she's tasked with (I was here for an hour seeing everything she was doing), which is a lot! Best Chicken Parm sandwich I've ever had in my life, and best service

I can forgive a lot, search my reviews, 1-2 stars are rare. 1: Late. 2: Cold. 3: crust not cut through. 4: driver was belligerent and refused initially to come down the gravel driveway of the venue. (Pics enclosed). This event was a wedding, makes it a little different of a “miss” than bowling with the boys, or whatever. But to be fair, a miss is a miss. This is my personal first experience with this company. And will be my personally, last.

Whoever is running the counter on Halloween... Never seen her before but I have been a long-term customer and I go in and make a $90 order with a 15% tip and she wants to act like I'm some jerk for making an order 50 minutes before closing. Was openly rude and verbally abusive.. nervous how my pizza is going to turn out but an employee like that will certainly make the locals never come back

Delicious crispy and thin dough, friendly staff, we were there in the afternoon and the waiting time was minimal for more than ten people. I have been to other locations, but here the pizza is the most delicious, and there is a desire to come back again.

Update: usually good service and orders correct but not today. Multiple toppings missing and side sauce I ordered wasn't available. When asked about I was told they were out of the hot honey and my pizza was missing the cup and char salami and pineapple. Sadly I'll be finding a new spot after the service. Solid slices and full pies with a bar area and some outdoor seating.

I came here to relax enjoy my order but got hit with so many rules don't do this don't to that made me feel like a child again 😅 and the worst part about it is I wasn't even doing nothing that would cause me being told what to do. The lady seems to be the manager not sure though older bigger size lady I say that with all do respect. If I was being told what to do as a customer I can't even imagine how her team members feel working with her she must have even more rules for the crew. This was my favorite place to come and drink a beer relax and eat. Crazy how one person can change that.

The pizza is good, a little salty. But full, fat rings of pineapple? Why? You put them on after the pizza is baked? They need to be chopped and baked on the pizza like all the other toppings.

Definitely not as bad as the reviews indicate. A consistent slice and beverage if you're otherwise indecisive on lunch. Service is accomodating and adequate.

Staying in Portland. Tried to find something for the one night we weren't going out. I've never done an online food review in my life. Place was horrible. Only ordered three items & one was totally wrong. The salad was correct. Given a utensil to eat it with? He'll no. Pizza was lousy. Steer clear. One star feels generous.

Pizza Schmizza makes one of my favorite crusts - chewy, the perfect thickness. They also have all sorts of unique pizzas. I like the rustic pie, which has potatoes, broccoli, tomatoes and feta on it - it's SO good! Always hot, ready quick. Honestly, I'm so sad you guys closed your Vancouver location - please come back! I can't even tell you how many times I hear friends and family say they miss having it as an option nearby!

I purchased 3 slices of the Spicy Italian to take back to the office. My coworker and I both ate a piece. The pizza was terrible, little to no sauce or cheese and low quality ingredients and very doughy (it was like chewing gum). Normally, I don't write a review but simply do not go back. BUT the reason for this review is: I drove back to get a refund on the 1 uneaten slice of pizza. I handed the woman behind the counter my receipt and told her why I was returning the pizza. She immediately becomes angry and raising her voice to me saying NO you touched the pizza. I asked for the manager, which she replied I am the manager. I said I am standing here until you return my money on the uneaten horrible slice. She finally gave me my money and said next time...Which I cut her off and said "There will be no next time and you can take your pizzas and put them where the sun doesn't shine and WEAR a hairnet when your working with food. I had witnessed her cutting bread earlier with hair beyond shoulder length. Never again will I step foot in this location and my next review is for the health department and contacting the owner of Raleigh hills location Andre Jahan.

These folks have the best customer service! So friendly! The gentleman even squeezed fresh lime, juice, and margaritas. And obviously, Schmizza pizza is always tasty!!

It seems like this is under new management. Super cute and really friendly. Pizza is back to being amazing!

It gives fast food energy but I love it for that. Doesn't matter which location I go to, it's consistent and I'm always happy with a slice and a beer. Sometimes a salad if I'm feeling skinny, which is rare.

This is a sad example for what is normally a great local chain of pizza pubs. This appears to be a franchise, as it lacks the polish of a company owed location. The walls are sparsely decorated, not up to the normal Schmizza standards. And the booth seats are in total disrepair. They mended the cheap vinyl seats with duck tape. No I'm not making this up, just look at the pictures I added.

Don't bother! The lady behind the counter had 1"-2" long finger nails and looked very unclean. She was yelling at customers to hurry up and order. I watched in disbelief at her serving people. She began taking slices out of the oven for the people who were waiting for their slices. She put all five slices in a small box, one on top of the other and smashed the lid down. One crust was cut off but she didn't care and gave it to them. I then left. It was disgusting.

Prepaid for leftovers using Too Good. I arrived to the store between 9PM and 9:30PM as it stated on the app. Upon arriving, I knocked on the glass door a few times. When the employee came out, he had a small pizza box for me and opened the door. He told to come early next time because they don't want to wait for me. I informed him of the times mentioned on the app and that I wasn't late. If they want to close early then state the correct time on the app. Don't be rude to me about it. Based on that experience, I won't be returning so he doesn't have to worry about waiting for me. The slices of pizza which was just thrown into the box were just average, even reheated. Big pass for me. Took them off my favorites.

The pizza is always delicious and the service is fine. My first job was at a pizza place and I didn't come in expecting over-the-top cheerfulness or an exuberant greeting. It's tasty pizza and it comes out fast. Let's just be thankful that the staff is doing their job creating great food and not catering to boomer sensitivities. Top two choices are the Genoa and the Cocina Chicken. It's a great place to stop and grab a slice or to order to go. We usually order a few pizzas when we have family in town and they all seem to enjoy it, too.

Received an ad on Facebook for a free medium pizza with the purchase of a pizza. When I got there they said it was not for the right location. We then showed them that it was for the correct address where we were, and they seemed irritated. They then told us that we had to buy TWO pizzas to get the one free pizza, which was not on the offer THEY posted. I've had heir pizza before and it's very doughy anyway. Would never recommend. Go to Society Pie, it's way better..

Bad experience. Pizza arrived lukewarm (and didn't taste like it would be that good even if warm), wings were dry/shriveled and overcooked, and "Caesar salad" was just chopped Romain in a tiny box with a thing of dressing on the side? Very disappointing and not worth the money. Will never go to or order from Pizza Schmizza again.

Not as much of that "Schmizza" vibe as all the others I've been to. While I'd love to get all fancy with a way too detailed description of my experience here, I will do us both a favor, and sum it up. To start off, The prices are absolutely crazy. It cost me just north of $30 for one "XXL PIE", and unfortunately was handed an XL PIE INSTEAD. irritating. However, there is a bar, so that earns it back some points. The cashier, ( I totally get it having a social life when you're younger, but put the cell phone down and check that ish on your breaks) was half aware she was actually even at work, she acted as though her time was being "wasted". Anywho, while the za was smaller than what I paid for, I'm grateful that it still had the exact same Schmizza taste I've come to expect from the schmizzles enterprise, so that gets you 2.5 right there. The other .5 in the rating is cause I appreciate the Parmesan cheese shakers being left on the counter for anyone to cheese theira pizza pies to their hearts desire. That would have gone even further, but out of principle I have to do to deduct two stars minimum as part of your review. Dilly Dilly!

Bad location, bad management, bad food, bad staff, bad service. I've been a long time loyal schmizza fan but it seems like any location that's not their originals out in Hillsboro you are going to have a bad time. With this location I've had terrible service with phrasing and brash employees. The last time I ordered from this location the breadsticks were burnt and the pizza wasn't very good.

This delicious pizza joint was operating and allowing dine in or to-go orders during Covid-19. First time at this pizza place and I was pleasantly surprised that the pizza was fresh, hand tossed and good options to choose from. Grabbed a few slices of the Creole Spicy chicken, regular cheese, Veggie and Ohh man (pineapple and ham). Pizza was great and I'll definitely stop in again.

Pizza Schmitz a is one of my favorite pizza spots. Good beer selection on tap as well as sour dough crust, sold by the slice is convenient and the Greek goddess is great!

Came in at 1:20, then the counter guy didn't even acknowledge me. I walked out. Won't be back.

Just attempted to place an order through Uber eats and was notified that my order was not accepted. Ive never had a problem with this method of ordering in the past but thought maybe the restaurant policy had changed. SO ... I called the restaurant directly to find out what was happening and was placed on hold and disconnected after about five minutes. Called back again, placed on hold and disconnected. Will not order again. Addendum: Thank you, David, for your quick response!

Placed an order for a pizza over the phone. When I came to pick up, I was told they were out of all the ingredients to make my pizza except chicken and corn. I paid over $25 for a pizza that was supposed to have poblano peppers, chipotle ranch, and avocado and got a pizza with some chicken, barely any corn and some feta that isn't even supposed to be on that pizza???

The absolute worst customer service ever. Called to place and order. I was rudely put on hold after I said I wanted to place and order. 4 minute later the rude manager who conducted himself like he hates his job and hates serving people. . I tried ordering food. Placing a $80 order. He get snarky and tells me I can't hear you and hangs up on me. Your rude behavior is disgusting! I run a very successful restaurant group and if one of my employees or managers conducted himself like this, they'd be filing for unemployment. I'll be following up with corporate on Monday. This isn't the first time you highlighted your horrible customer service skills. Now we got to spend our money elsewhere. Not only are you rude but your tarnishing the business reputation and taking away from the owners pocket. I'd suggest working somewhere that makes you happy!

The best ... ever. I'm quivering right now just thinking about their Dipsticks with warm alfredo sauce. Sigh. It's a franchise, only in Oregon right now. (Lucky bastards.) I have no doubts it will grow though and it's cheesy goodness will ooze down throughout the West Coast and beyond. Well, for your tastebuds sake, you better start hoping it does! Besides those amazing dipsticks and sauce, Pizza Schmizza always has a cool, laid-back feeling. When you walk in, you will encounter unique art, neon lights, arcade games, and televisions, a mix of funky and funny, that provide the perfect setting to compliment the incredible aroma and taste of the New York style pizza ... If there is one thing I miss about Oregon, it's Pizza Schmizza!

The worst! Dirty! Music ridiculously loud! Pizza undercooked and soggy. Don't bother!

The people here are super nice. I have had 3 different slices of pizza here, and they were all fab. They have a pizza with actual spaghetti noodles on it, lots of marinara, meatball, and ricotta cheese. YUMMMMMMM. The genoa is their most popular, and it makes sense after you try a piece. The zorba chicken was also very flavorful. Crust is super important as far as pizza goes, and they've pretty much got it down.

Excellent pizza! They really do have "Alligator Pie"....I did not have it, but it is on the menu. I had to Popeye and Olive Oil which was amazing. My husband had the pepperoni....which he will have to comment on. Fresh out of the oven pizza slices, hard to choose from because they all look fantastic. They have friendly staff, unique, fun atmosphere. I like my pieces of pizza a little thicker (or slightly less money so I get two slices), but overall a refreshingly good place to eat. Maybe this is the place I can finally grab a quick bite, in most neighborhoods, that is bound to tasty *and* a good experience. I would definitely take out of town guests to a Pizza Schmizza on our way around town since they seem to be everywhere.

I just posted a picture of their idea of a split sausage sandwich. It was their sausage toppings thrown on bread with marinara(I asked for it with onions and peppers). The bread it was on was burnt and the temperature of it could have only been obtained by a microwave. I did not want to complain because the young lady said she was new when I ordered, didn't know what I was talking about when I ordered the sandwich and was nice enough to give me an automatic 35% discount and a pre-punched free slice card good for just that, a free slice. I don't think I'll ever be back. This is my 5th time giving this location a chance and my money and the place is just poorly ran and dirty.... Please look at the picture I posted. So gross.

Disappointing because the pizza is good when made correctly, but this location has really bad service and needs better management. My last three experiences here: - No one answers the phone and I have to order online. (Try yourself - call them within an hour of closing, no one will answer). I verified the phone number online with the number on the menus. - I walk in to pick up my order about 45 mins before closing time, and as I walk in I'm told, "Sorry, we're closed," despite the time and despite the "Open" sign being illuminated. - One of the workers told me, "I forgot your order because I was doing closing duties." - Twice, two pizzas in my order have been incorrect. Pretty simple order, it is a pizza off the menu with "hold the olives," and twice the olives were on the pizza. I love the pizza here but the service is consistently bad. This place could be made good with some better management of the employees in place.

I went in today for pizza and wings. The food was delicious. And staff were nice and attentive.

Stood at the register for five minutes without any acknowledgement from the employees, and there was other people waiting in line behind us. I finally asked the cook directly if I was at the right place to order. The other employee had walked past us multiple times without any acknowledgement. I would have been fine if either employee had said "hey we are running behind, we will be with you in just a minute. When our order was placed finally, the employee offered just a "thanks for waiting. No apology, and he wasnt smiling at all. Both employees seemed miserable and their attitude affected the opinion of myself and the guy behind me. The pizza was good, hot wings were good, and my beer was good. This was the first time in the past five years I didnt leave a tip when ordering at a pizza Schmizza.

Guy working when we came in was really nice. Good pizza, with delicious crust. Does not disappoint.

I have thought time and time again about putting a review on Yelp in hopes things would get better. I teach next door to this location and have come in every two weeks on average. My favorite pizza is the Genoa and it's loaded with the good stuff! But other parts of my experiences there have gotten me to the point of not returning. Today, I took a few students off-campus today for lunch. It took 20+ minutes to order the pizza slices and I was 5th in line. There were two employees behind the counter - one taking orders and one making whole pizzas. We had 15-20 minutes to eat. One of my students ordered and finally got his pizza as the tardy bell rang for the next class back on campus. I had to wait for the student and was late for my own class, as well. I watched three customers leave the line and go elsewhere while I waited for my student. Considering this is next to a school which has many students come over to eat during the lunch hour, and considering many slices are sold during that lunch hour, the system of ordering, heating up the slices and getting them out has to be changed. It is the most inefficient system relying on one person to take orders, take money, reheat the slices in the oven and get them out to the customers. In the case of my student, he was essentially forgotten and it took 45 minutes to get a slice of pizza. On the positive side of things, they employee a young man with a disability - specifically Down Syndrome. I applaud them having him as an employee. He has worked there for several years as a busboy, folding to-go boxes, etc. When he's working on the boxes, he always sits at the same table. Recently, people have been asked to leave this table when he is working even though he's not working on the boxes. He goes to the employee behind the counter and complains someone is at his table. I've witness a few employees making the customer move and place a laminated "This table is reserved" sign on it leaving one less booth out of eight to be used by customers. This is simply wrong as in the case today where there wasn't enough seating for the customers. Perhaps this could be a learning experience for this employee such as teaching him the table can be used by customers between 12:00 and 12:30. Again... nothing against this employee at all. I applaud the store for hiring him and keeping him on as an essential part of the team. But limiting the seating is unnecessary. I sincerely hope this store can turn around a bit. I do like their pizza/salad combo. I just can't afford to be late back to work due to the lack of efficiency.

I hate to give this place a bad review because their pizza can be great. The experience i had last night made me change my mind on giving a negative review. We ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza at 6.15pm thru GrubHub. The pizza did not arrive until nearly 2 hours later, around 8 o' clock, cold and under cooked. The crust was doughy and tough to chew through. I even put it in the oven to "re-heat" it, figuring that may help but it unfortunately did not. This is the last time we will be ordering or giving our business to this location. I am glad we decided against ordering anything else. We can only recall having one decent visit around a year ago ago. This location has really gone down hill. On the plus side, the delivery driver for GrubHub was prompt and polite.

I came in to get a slice and beer for my break like I normal do twice to 3 times a week. These last several times I have gone in, I felt very uncomfortable their has been a new man working the front counter, I'm sorry I don't know his name but he's short and Hispanic. It seems every time I come in he is openly checking me out up and down mutliple times, to the point that it makes me feel like a object instead of a human. On top of that, I got a breakside pilsner for my beer and when he sat it down with half the glass with foam, he proceeds to say its foamy then walks off to the back without even asking if that was okay or if I wanted another beer. I dont understand why the owner would put him working the front when you can barely understand him then mix in masked its a receipt for a disaster. What happen to the nice, respectful guys that worked the front before, one had a long beard and the other always had that smiling mask. They always made me feel welcome and most of all safe, I cant say the same about the new counter guy.

F this franchise owner. Seriously a complete dirt bag and it reflects in his employees. I ordered a Thai Chicken pizza to go and went to pick it up. I did a pizza faux-pas and forgot to check my pie before I left. I ended up calling the store once I got home and they made me another pizza- the correct one. Once I got back to their location I was treated like complete utter crap. Okay look, you made me a plain cheese pizza AND charged me for the Thai chicken one. Both pies are different prices. I also brought back the pizza which you incorrectly made. When I pointed this out to them they got completely offended and said I didn't specify that I wanted the pizza I wanted. Okay, then WHY did I get charged for the pizza pricewise that I wanted? The next morning I ended up calling to speak to the owner he was short and rude then he said "THE CUSTOMER IS NOT RIGHT, YOU ARE A BAD CUSTOMER". Choke on a salami. I wish pieces of work like you would go bankrupt.

Pretty crappy service. Messed up my order then made it seem like a huge burden to provide me with the correct order, even though they offered to correct it -- i guess i just wasn't supposed to accept their offer! Sad since I just moved to this neighborhood and was hoping to be a patron, but this type of service always turns me off of a place. Well at least while I wait for the correct pizza I can write a review! In short: pizza buyer beware.

We grabbed a couple Don Ho slices with the kids (as the place was really busy and it looked like it would take a while to get a full pizza ordered.) The pizza was a bit old and dry, but OK. I avoided the breadsticks, as the last time I got them they tasted dry and rubbery. I'd another star if they'd get their game machines fixed. How cool is it to have a pin ball machine in your pizza place? And how shi**y it is to just tack up a sign on it that says "This machine eats quarters. Play at your own risk." Really? Get the effing thing fixed! The other driving game ate two quarters, too. Awesome! And the air hockey is 4 QUARTERS. Really?? Is this for charity?

Do not order online. So, you need a pie and it is fight night, so you do the sensible thing and give them a heads up to pick up online. It's 2015 and you are going to use technology to expedite your order. Not here... 30 minute wait while traditional customers order individual slices, with 1 person working the register? Not ok. Don't order online at this restaurant until they figure out a better system.

Everytime i go to this location, something is always messed up. We get home and our pizza isnt cooked all the way, or they dont give us the right sauces we asked for. Just seems like the employees do not listen. Also, what is this pineapple pizza i ordered? They made a cheese pizza then opened a can of pineapples and laid the whole slice on top. It wasnt cooked with the pizza. It fell off as soon as i picked it up. Usually pineapple is chopped up and baked with the pizza... so weird. Im just never sure what to expect here. The only reason i went back is bc we had a coupon from the owner for a previous order that ended up being a horrible experience.

30 minutes for a SANDWICH!!!! And it literally was bread bacon cheese and a drizzled ranch....absolutely NO URGENCY to make a meal. For the first ten minutes after we ordered the gal was filling out paperwork and then on the phone. Absolutely will never return, and will tell my friends and family to never return.

I really enjoy ordering delivery from this spot on a mellow Friday night. [Especially afterwork].. pizza always soooo good from here and their bread!. I recommend it....

This is the best Pizza, and my son begged for it over and over when we were on vacation in Lake Oswego and Beaverton! I am off to beg someone to buy a franchise for Phoenix.

I love all pizza especially pizza schmizza. This location could use a remodel to say the least. My buddy and i just stopped in for lunch the other day and got a couple of beers. pizza was ok, but tasted like it was a day old.

SLOWWWWWWWWW........ 25 minute wait. No pizza we wanted left by the time we got to the counter. So we ordered what was left. Zzzzzzz Then she FORGOT the rest of my order! Will need to go somewhere else to get the rest of my lunch. I felt like I walked into the pizza oven! I didn't want to "be the pizza"... A wanted "eat a pizza". Their A/C is broken so if you're looking to get out of the heat to eat... this place wont fit the bill even though their pizza is great and their over cooked employees are fun to order from.

This place was awful and I won't go back. The pizza looked like it had been sitting out all day. It tasted okay, but I've definitely had better. The place smelled like a sewer. Clearly the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in a while. Not a good experience at all.

Ordered a pizza with extra sauce. Picked it up and it looked like it had no sauce on it. Called at 8:52 and said I'd be there in a few minutes to pick up some sauce, was 4 minutes away, and they close at 9. They refused to put sauce in a container because they said they were cleaning up and had put everything away. Just said to send an email to his manager. And that is what I would consider very POOR customer service when they messed up the order anyway. Pizzacato is right down the street!
