Sushi Joe’s expands from the Rio to the University District - Eater Vegas

"Still under construction inside a 1,731-square-foot corner space, Pizza Forte is expected to import a similar menu of Italian favorites, hot dogs, and pizza previously found at its shuttered Sunset Station and Hard Rock Hotel counter-service restaurants." - Bradley Martin

My brother bought 2 “large” deep pan pizzas. Super underwhelmed by the size. They charge a large price for medium size pizza. Def won’t be coming back.

Came here per family recommendation. Needless to say they have a large variety of unique options. A great alternative for those looking for a unique pizza twist. We tried the Tikka pizza and it was yummy!

I don't really have any information on what kind of pizza this was specifically, but I do know that one slice was Chicken and the other slice was Paneer I liked the way each pizza had a ton of vegetables on it. These added a good amount to the flavor, and tasted pretty good when combined with the overall pizza itself. I especially liked the mushrooms The thing I liked most was the cheese. I thought each slice had a ton of cheese that coalesced really well, and this added a pretty cheesy base to the slice that tasted quite good I found the chicken and paneer to be average - nothing special there What I disliked was the lack of any kind of sauce. Most pizzas have some kind of a sauce (usually red sauce) to add extra flavor and so that each bite isn't just cheese There was none of that here - so I eventually got tired of having a bite just pretty much be cheese. Some sauce would've made this better The crust was also somewhat lacking Overall, good cheese, but lack of sauce really drags this down. 7/10

Less than a week ago, a new establishment emerged in the university district. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by one of the staff members. I decided to try their pani puri and veg Manchurian noodles, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. In terms of the pani puri, I'd give it a 5/10. It lacked the desired flavor and had a slightly sweeter taste than I prefer. As for the veg Manchurian noodles, my rating would be a mere 2/10. These noodles were supposed to embody the essence of Indian street food, but all I could discern was a dominant ketchup flavor, with little else to savor. I don't plan on ordering them again. Considering that most of the reviews seem to revolve around their pizza, I might give that a shot next time and update my review accordingly.

We came here for a very late dinner at 11 PM on a Sunday. Ordered a medium Tikka masala pizza and it was not bad. We were expecting a strong Tikka flavour but the flavour was mild. There were not many people at the store dining in. Overall it was a decent experience dining here. Will come back to try other flavors next time.

I ordered pizza today, and it was honestly disappointing. The pizza was bland and had no real taste. It felt like something was missing in every bite. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Definitely not worth the money!

Google
Indian food on Pizza, more delicious than it sounds. Actually it’s amazing. Regular pizza who? I only know pizza twist these days… you can get Indian sides too like samosas. Great vegetarian options!!!

Pizza sucked. Just very low quality. Service was fine. Place was clean and price was low but man it was bad pizza.

Yelp
Ordered takeout from here and was pleasantly surprised! I got the tandoori chicken pizza at the recommendation of the staff and it was really good! Very lovely Indian flavors but also a great pizza! The staff was very nice, and the place had a very interesting vibe with all the decorations. Going to be back to try the other items, have only tried the pizza.

Yelp
Just didn't have a positive experience here. The menu first of all was complicated to read - very jumbled up. So I ordered the first thing that was easiest to read: the maharaja burger, with fries and a drink. The drink you grab yourself from their cooler, which is fine.. The guy comes out with a container and a big, goofy smile on his face. I smile back and take the container to the table, open it, and it's just the fries.. No burger. I try to remain positive and think to myself: "Okay, maybe they're still making the burger".. I wait and wait and wait.. No burger. The restaurant is dead quiet with no one else inside, and the two men working there are in the kitchen, chatting away.. And still no burger.. I finally ring the bell at the front counter and the man who brought my fries appears. I ask: "Where's my burger?" The young man looks at me quizzically and goes: "What burger?" I go: "The one I ordered as a combo with these fries and drink.".. He still just stands there and looks at me, acting like he has no clue what I'm talking about, even though he was standing right there next to the other young man as he was taking my order, because they weren't busy. I finally had to show him my receipt - PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIPT if you're going to eat here! I showed him my receipt and said: "Look, I paid $18 for a burger and fries combo. Please go make my burger. I was supposed to be back at work 10 minutes ago.".. The guy said nothing, snatched my receipt, and went back into the kitchen. About 5 minutes later, he emerges with the burger in a small to-go box, gruffly hands it to me, and bolts back into the kitchen. No apology, nothing. I tried to talk to the other man about what just happened, because it looked like he was managing that shift, and he just looked at me puzzled and acted as though he didn't know what I was talking about, then ignored me and walked away.. Not going back here. Again, if you do decide to eat here, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT so you can prove what you bought and paid for there.. The guy ahead of me in line before I ordered also seemed upset with the service there and was reporting a complaint to that same shift supervisor, who just scoffed at him and says: "Here, we'll give you extra condiments (which are free anyways) and that's it.".. I absolutely don't recommend this place. Go at your own risk - KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!

Yelp
I came here last night because I was hungry and saw that this new place opened on The Ave. The cashier was kind and helpful and provided great suggestions, and I took his word, which I did not regret. The restaurant was spacious but could have been slightly more sanitized because a decent amount of fruit flies bothered my eating and bathroom experience. I ordered a small Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, which came out quickly, taking about 10 minutes. The presentation of the pizza looked great, but how did it taste? Well, it tasted delicious, like a chicken tikka masala. Something I should have expected from this pizza was the cheese pull. It had a perfect cheese pull, better than some of my local pizza shops. They also gave me a white sauce to go along with it, which I dipped my slices of pizza in. Overall, Pizza Twist exceeded my expectations, and I am willing to return. The pizza fusion concept was there, and they executed it well. You definitely should try one of their pizzas.

Yelp
Such a great spot and super friendly service! The cashier was very kind. We almost walked away because they didn't sell pizza slices, but I am so glad we didn't. We ended up getting the smallest size of the Chicken Tikka Curry Pizzatwist. It was a good size, enough to fill 2 (maybe 3) people. It was freshly made to order and came piping hot out of the oven. We got Indian chips and a Thumps Up to nibble on while we ate (yum!). The pizza was really good, the onions and peppers made it not too heavy. Very flavorful, I absolutely love Chicken Tikka Masala! Definitely recommend checking it out! It's a unique spot and there's so many menu items! One of my favorite spots in Seattle and it's right by the university!

Yelp
Just picked up pizza from here and the pepperoni was almost completely burnt. Unfortunately by the time we realized this we had already left the area but it's insane to me that they think it's okay to give customers burnt pizza. This is not a new issue at the Pizza Twist establishments, the second picture is a burnt pizza they gave us at the Redmond location and when complaining about the issue they told us thats just what halal pepperoni looks like...

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place was! We ordered the Paneer Veggie Pizza and it did not disappoint - was a very good fusion of a classic Indian dish and my favorite food (pizza lol). Plus, it wasn't too pricey! I would definitely recommend this!

Yelp
Pizza was below-par, too much cheese that it falls off when you pull the slice. Box pizza would be graded higher. not enough bang for the buck.
