Pizza Zone N Grill

I ordered a 16 inch cheese pizza. It’s pretty standard. No way to possibly mess it up. The service was prompt especially considering I ordered this pizza via Door Dash. 20 minutes or less it was done. Showed up the pick up went smooth. My only complaint is, upon asking for ranch we were told we should have ordered it on the app. Sorry for being human and forgetting. We wernt charged for the $2.00 ranch. Thanks for the hand out statement. Really appreciate the hospitality. The pizza itself looked just like the pic advertised. Smelled fresh and just cooked. Cheese cooked to a crisp and togetherness. Sauce is very light, to where the cheese don’t stick to the crust. The dough tastes like any other dough. Really I couldn’t complain, this was better than going to try to buy something from 6th and Mission pizzeria.

Got a bacon cheese burger, fries, and 10 lemon pepper wings for 38.40(tax included). Food was good even though I forgot to ask for only meat and cheese on my burger(was my first time eating a burger with sauce, tomato and pickles on it) and when I couldn't finish it the people assured me my food wouldn't go to waste and could be given to any homeless who stopped by. Was a little dirty but beggars can't be choosers when you're looking for a bite at like 2am lol.

Best people you’ll ever meet!! The pizza hella smack 100% recommend 10/10!!! Don’t hate on them if you going thru DoorDash blame the dashers🤦🏽‍♂️!!! go in person and experience the hospitality they give out!! The environment and the workers will make you feel like your at home don’t sleep on them

The BEST late night pizza in the city... No joke! However, DO NOT ORDER on Halloween night. I once ordered on Halloween night at 1 am and never got my order because the place was PACKED. This is nothing against this place which is why this place will get 5 stars no matter what for me!

It gets an extra rating if I was high out of my mind. A slice runs about 7 bucks, and while they’re admittedly huge, wouldn’t consider it the best value. Crispy but floppy, soft undercarriage, under sauced, and extra cheesy; the usual descriptors of a fast food slice, which is generally not my thing :/

We're on vacation from the South, and California traffic had my nerves so messed up that I tossed my dinner night before last. So, last night we decided to just order in. The kids and I got excellent sushi from next door to the hotel, and we were going to order pizza hut or dominoes for my husband, who has the palate of a toddler. Neither delivers to our Bay-view hotel, oddly enough. We asked the front desk hostess if any local pizza places delivered, and she gave us pamphlets from 2. One is not delivering due to the plague (sad, as it was a pizza & shawarma spot and I totally placed to order some falafel and tabouli, sigh) so... Pizza Zone to the rescue! We called, they assured us they could deliver, AND in 40 minutes or less. They were friendly, helpful, and fast. I ordered an "XL fam size" thinking that would provide him dinner, breakfast, and maybe lunch, even if the kids helped. That monstrosity is the biggest pizza I've ever seen. It was also hot, delicious, extra cheesy, with a hella good crust and piles of meat, and it arrived in under 40 minutes... Which I find superhuman considering the traffic everywhere and construction literally *at* our hotel sidewalk. 10/10, would recommend.

beware the dine in bag fee. I always like the food here. But if you dine in, beware. They automatically add a 35c bag fee to your order. Tell them not to charge you for a bag.

Here's the thing. It's there when almost every other food spot is closed. I've had poor chicken wings, a serviceable fresh-baked pizza, and skimpy zucchini sticks at this place. But it's open and not terrible. Will I be back there after hanging out at Zeitgeist one night? Probably. The service is ok and the restaurant is pretty barebones inside, but what more do you need? Watch out for (fellow?) drunk people swerving around as you grab a table. I wouldn't call it a relaxing atmosphere normally. Oh and don't miss the oregano, canned parmesan, and red pepper at the back table.

Ordered a MEDIUM pizza. Half pepperoni, olive, and onion. Half Hawaiian. FOURTY FOUR DOLLARS!!! WTF? I was too hungry and tired....they got me once. Never again. SMH.

This place really is a go to for pizza slices. Good price for a piece of pizza 2x the size of a costco slice. Made to order EVERY time.

Quick service, high prices, inconsistent quality, questionable cleanliness. Stopped by here around 2/3am on a Friday night. This place feels like a warehouse with plastic tables and a cash register. It gets the job done but doesn't leave you feeling great. I was happy enough with my veggie slices but my friends had burnt pepperoni all around. About the pricing - it's not as bad when you see the slice size, but I'd rather they give a normal sized slice at a normal price. Might be back if I find myself really hungry again in the later hours of the night, but wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this place.

Omg a solid spot to grab a slice of pizza. Perfectly cooked. Reasonably priced. I sat down and had my slice at the restaurant. It was pretty clean, and staff was friendly.

They need to improve everything, the food is horrible, the service is extra horrible, cashier/server is rude no manners, more worried about what is going on on her damn phone, the pizza was beyond trash I didn't eat most of it just threw it in the thrash.

I ordered wings and garlic fries here on Uber eats, but have been here in person a couple of times, but this order pushed me over the edge to leave a review. Wings were really not great. Fries were soggy. Part that was the worst was that I got two sides of ranch that were $1.50 each. And when I received them they were the Ken's brand like salad dressing sides little cups of ranch (see photo). You gonna charge $1.50 for that? Food was fine. You ain't going here for fine food. You're going cuz it's late at night and you're hungry. But the prices are what's gonna lead me to never ordering from here again. Charging that much for what they giving you makes me sad

I've been ordering from here for years and never had an issue until today. This evening I placed an UberEats order and it included a fat stack of MAGA napkins. Unfortunately, I'll no longer be ordering from Pizza Zone. Lost a long time customer.

This is a late night hustle place. I picked up a slice of pizza and an order of lemon cello cake. Mmmm that cake was good- the pizza was just okay. There's a group of shady characters hanging out there, looks like some may have a deal going down Lol. No big deal.

It's pizza by the slice. Very hole in the wall/dive. But it's clean and they have Ms Pac-Man. Super cheap too. Slice of pepperoni and can of soda was 10 bucks. Nice sauce -- not sweet. They cut the slice into two thin strips -- which I personally enjoy. Obviously I'm not from NYC. Salads are good too. They do well with large groups of hungry men.

I is your typical hole-in-the-wall pizza joint from the outside but, the pizza is outta this world. Best bang for your buck in the city. The slices are ginormous and super cheap. The crust is the perfect amount of crispy and the sauce is nice and tangy. And it is family owned! Bonus!!!

So it's not fancy, but brave persons enjoy late night pizza and dessert. I can't remember what time it must have been - midnight maybe. For midnight it was a 8/10. You can customize slices. I have never seen that before. Thanks PZG

I order from here at least 2 x a week. A week! Same order. Got wrong ice cream. Called the place. Lady said "we didnt have your flavor so I gave you whatever." Yup, you read it right, "whatever." She added, "we are busy and it's just ice cream." i said, ya, that I paid over $13 for," wait for it... "well, you keep buying it, why you buy $13 ice cream?" "you can bring it back and we exchange it." Of course she refused to give me her name. Bad business practice, terrible customer service! Pizza is great. Other places where I am NOT a regular, simply comp you the wrong item. Tsk tak phone lady! ‍ I'll try talking to Sam (owner) and circlw back. Come on Sam, I am rooting for you! Delivery fee (1.6 miles): $3.95 Service fee: $4.95 Talked to Sam. Underwhelming response but minimalist yet sincere apology. No righting a wrong. They have another branch, same distance to me, diff direction, on 3rd St.

Pizza was good! The ordering was fast but some of the employees were kinda rude and mean lol. One worker yelled in our direction and when we responded she told us to mind our business. The price is nice, it's a great spot for a super late night snack. The meat pizza was delicious, all the meat was so flavorful. Someone else said it feels like a warehouse with plastic chairs and they are right, that's exactly what it is. Good food.

The quoted price for what I ordered didn't seem right so I asked for a receipt. Not only do the prices on the receipt NOT match the prices listed on the menu the total still didn't add up to what they charged me. This place is a rip off, lying about the prices and then still trying to chisel you after that. I was charged at least five dollars more than I should have. **update** I made the mistake of posting this as I stood outside waiting for a car and The guy at the counter, the owner I guess, started yelling at me very threateningly and came out of the restaurant to confront me; not being in the mood for a fight I canceled my car and walked away. He had his phone in his hand so it seems likely he read this review. Dude if you read this the answer is to not cheat people in the first place!

Passing by it looks pretty basic, it also looks homey & relaxing. Stopped by after a long 10 hr shift & assumed i ordered two slices of pizza for $16. i was shocked on how the price was but when the slices came.. my my.. it was just amazing, fresh ingredients, fresh dough, under 10 min. it was basically 2 slices per order. they cut a big slice into two. i definitely think they should upgrade some things like the signs & make the window & entry more eye catching so people can stop by & see how good it is!

Love this place!! Have been ordering delivery here for quite some time but now we live pretty close in Hayes so we get pick up from time to time. Pro tip that I got from another review years ago : order the Philly zone with white sauce. So good! I've also had the burger which is better than expected and their loaded fries are also amazeballs! Loaded with sodium and not rly that cheap but it's yummy and quick and always on point.

The menu is to be explored. I have tried a few new menu items lately and they have some other choices. Don't be shallow when you encounter the menu, because some of the selections are just divine.

Be aware that this restaurant fails to read the notes placed on an order which is not difficult to do if you have any basic reading comprehension skills. They added tomato sauce when I specifically said to omit it as the person I bought it for is allergic and they didn't want to add their white sauce as it's salty as hell. Immediately did a chargeback. They gave the free pizza away to a neighbor who said it was subpar. When I called the restaurant, it was clear that the person on the phone was completely inept at their job. Makes sense.

Let me start of by saying if I can give this place a negative stars I would the gentleman at the front was aggressive rude and not respectful. I'm ashamed of the way they treat there clients. These guys need Jesus to save them.

Very Nice Pizza TakeAway place! They have a huge variety of toppings and good prices. I must admit that I really fell in love with their vegetarian cheesesteak which is amazing and very tasty. As this place is opposite Zeitgeist and opens very late even during the week it is a very nice spot for an after beer foodfeast!

Usually this place has great slices for good prices, but I just paid $9.38 for a very disappointing slice of Hawaiian pizza that was extremely thin and tasted like the dough was still raw. will have to reconsider eating here again.

Pizza Zone is down the block and I can order the the Slice app. I'll take a Meat lovers, please. Ready in about 30 minutes we walked over to pick it up. Bright and airy with plenty of room to stay in what is a typical pizza vibe. Nothing fancy. Just the food. A quick walk later and I my mouth was wrapped around something amazing! The cheese. The crust but the sauce the sauce the sauce! Ooooooh my. I love the sauce. So good, I snuck a final piece before leaving the roof. Don't go here. I was talking to the chef and she was picking her nose and touching the counter while talking to me. She was totally oblivious to the fact she was spreading germs everywhere. When I got my pizza, (regular cheese) the tomato sauce was unevenly spread out to the point I was eating cardboard on one side and tomato soup on the other. Like I said in my beginning sentence, don't go here.

99% of the time I order pizza delivery. Pizza Zone is not my go to option as there are so many other better places in San Francisco. For some reason the name and offerings always reminded me of college frat boy pizza. I'm more sophisticated than that. But at midnight in the Mission after a night of drinking I found the oasis that was Pizza Zone. The "restaurant" itself is interesting. It's an old warehouse space with cathedral ceilings and a waiting area that could fit 100 people. At the counter the only menu is printed. The main menu is whole pizza and appetizers. It took me awhile but I also found the slice menu. The slice prices were average. The slice itself was huge! It filled 2 whole plates. The server over heated it so I had to wait 15 minutes for it to cool off before I could eat it. I'm the dining room area is a bunch of janky tables, and many drink fridges and soda dispensers. I'll never say I won't be back. The pizza just wasn't good enough for me to order delivery.

My friend Cuzin to get food and I really want a milkshake even though I know it's storming rain right I'm pregnant so I had to have what I want. She tells him no milkshake you ain't getting that I think he goes why not and she said because it's too cold outside nope not having them them. She goes on to pursue to ask him let no tip so anyways hopefully you're reading this cause a pregnant girl is not happy when she does not get her ice cream. Love you feel good about yourself whoever you are dark skin girl. The little girl with the light of skin she's the owner. Nothing special but nothing bad either. In fact, it's pleasantly reliable. Surprisingly, they actually make a burger that's probably in my top 3 in the city. However, the pizza by the slice is usually overcooked. The salads are a little underwhelming and all the other snack/appetizer type things are really just frozen foods just re-fried to order. With that said, their full pizzas are better than their slices (because they're made fresh to order instead of reheated) and I always come back for their cheeseburger. Service can be hit or miss. However, the latina lady who usually works early evenings is always very professional and nice.

Drove by and saw this pizza place... Order a small meat lovers for dinner. The pizza was very well seasoned and full of pepperoni, sausages, and ham. It was great and tasty which hit the spot. You have very limited seating but great for pick up orders.

This people have bad customer service I called to make an order but apparently my order wasn't even taken. I can't believe I drove to this place for them to tell me they didn't have my order what waste of gas and time !!!! They didn't even apologize!

So I like salads, I mean I genuinely love a good salad. ( My mother never had issues getting me to eat veggies when I was young) These guys have been great at making my salads to my taste (adding tomatoes, grilled chicken, etc. ) And their salads are fresh and flavorful. Also last time I ordered I tried their lemon cake.....yasssssssss it's so good. I don't know who they order their desserts from but you know my rule about life is too short for bad food. The desserts here are absolutely delish...I recommend them! (I promise next time I will take pics)

Yes the pizza is good and they are open late which is a plus they charge a dollar for ranch which is absurd because it shouldn't be more than $.50 I've never seen a place charge a dollar for ranch so I had to mention that .... as well as the cook doesn't really use gloves and touches everything so if you're germ crazy you wouldn't like watching him prepare your food because even when they wear gloves they're touching pretty much everything still... But other than that the pizza is good

Great late night spot! Get yourself a slice of the Garlic Potato Pesto pizza - it's huge, piping pot and full of flavor. My go-to when I'm having a night out!

Super yummy! Please open your soda fountain and just move it to the back--the workers are super tough and cool; the have to deal with real dummies that would walk in and steal soda so we all know it is not out of order....totally a place where a wretch who just stole something from safeway and eess a charge but wont buy anything! Super good and cool. The old guard of the area. Bless them!

This is my new place for pizza. Ordered delivery and it came way faster than expected, and was still piping hot. My girlfriend and I loved the cheese pizza and the loaded Philly cheese fries. Super excited to explore on this menu, and great for a simple but super tasty dinner.

Earthy all-nighter or till 3am. Fresh wholesome and down to earth. The staff here are wonderful in their own way z It's a great menu and reasonably priced. When I'm eating their burger I am getting a smoky flavor. The cheese and mushrooms are distinct.

I really like their margarita pizza!! It doesnt really look like an margarita pizza (and who really cares about how it looks...) but its so good!! I have eaten here a few times and have liked everything I have had. I got their burger with the pineapple on it with teriyaki.. good! Their wings.. good! cheese sticks (cant really mess up cheese sticks..) good! They are also very nice and friendly! Love the fact they stay open very late, especially since I use to work overnights and would get pretty hungry some late nights and wanted some solid good food. Nothing really bad to say about this place at all. There stuff is just good! Simple as that.

Literally so delicious, so fresh, best experience! I was visiting California and passed by this hole in the wall! It may look run down but truthfully it was the best pizza! For a Floridian girl it was a little pricey but I have to say it was well worth it! Definitely going back the next time I'm in California!

This place used to be the spot! Their slices are still great and affordable if you actually go in, but forget about delivery--what a rip off!!!!!! Large pizza is $24.99 (sounds great) but then you're required to pick two toppings and they all cost $4.99 or $8.99...for example, if you choose feta cheese because you are REQUIRED to do so, that will be $8.99. Basically you're gonna end up with a $45+ pizza that tastes like it should be $15. Just don't. If you in for slices, great, but these delivery prices cannot be blamed on apps. This is a new strategy of the past year or so for Pizza Zone and it's total trash. Amici's, Little Star, and Tony's are all cheaper and better quality. Sorry pizza zone, do better
