A true pizza enthusiast can appreciate any pie, but the pizzas I had at Pizzaaiolo are on an entirely different level. With only two vegetarian options on the menu, I decided to order both: the Margherita and the Vegetarian. Each one was incredibly flavorful, and every bite left me wanting more. Absolutely delicious. This was a takeout order, so I can’t fully comment on the dine-in experience, but the staff member handling the billing and pick-ups was friendly and efficient. The ambiance is quite low-key, and I genuinely believe that with a more inviting space and a stronger location, these pizzas could easily earn a spot on Seattle’s best-pizza map.

Pretty good pizza here! Tried the margherita pizza and the one with fig and prosciutto. Pizza was a little floppy, but the taste was good. Many different flavor options for their pizzas. Just had the most incredible dinner here tonight! Started off with a ceaser salad that was delicious, then a margarita/pepperoni (50/50) Pizza was fresh, the crust was perfect. Cannot wait to share this place with friends!

I’ve been sitting on this review for long enough. Almost daily I think about this pizza I had a few weeks ago, the Margherita Di Bufala. I was sitting at home, looking at a friends story from New York of some amazing slice of Neapolitan style Pizza and I said “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” . I got on my phone and found the closest spot I could and sure enough stumbled upon this gem. I drive past it everyday for work and didn’t even realize. I looked at the photos online and decided I’d go for this exact style of pizza. I was greeted with a smile, kindly helped, and no less than 10 minutes later I had my pizza. I couldn’t hold my excitement 5 minutes. I got to my car, lifted the lid, and was met with the scent of fresh tomato sauce, beautifully thin crispy crust, and the mozzarella from my dreams. This is pizza was simply incredible. If you live in Kirkland or anywhere near all I can do is recommend you treat yourself to a slice of heaven.

Pizzaiolo is hidden away in a Kirkland strip mall, but don't be fooled by its size, the pizza has huge flavor, tastes great, and is reasonably priced. Skip the national chains and give this local pizza joint a chance.

What a great find for wood fired pizza. Saw it as a recommendation and enjoyed everything I tried. The tomato sauce is great and they have grana padano cheese featured on several of the pizzas. The bianco pizza was wonderful with nice sweetness from the onions and roasted garlic.

Really enjoyed the pizza! We ordered delivery but will definitely be going in to try it in person as I’m sure it’ll be even better. The simple Cheese and Margherita pizzas are very delicious!

I almost never write reviews but considering how highly rated this restaurant is and how disappointing the pizza was I felt I needed to share. I received delivery so perhaps the in person experience is different. My pizza arrived very quickly which was great but also maybe a bad indicator. The crust was extremely soggy it was wet like I have never seen before. I got the chicken pesto and it was chicken sausage not chicken. I was so excited to try this highly rated wood fired pizza and it was an extreme disappointment. Will not get again.

Fantastic pizza! We started with the beet, arugula and goat cheese salad. Delicious with the perfect amount of dressing and nuts. Followed by pear and Gorgonzola pizza - absolutely delicious! The crust is the best I have ever had, fresh pears were so sweet! Highly recommend this little restaurant in Juanita.

My absolute favorite wood fired pizza in Kirkland! So much flavor in the marinara and the crust is perfectly crispy and thin! MUST TRY!!!

One of the best pizzas I've had in a while, anywhere. The edges had a very nice crisp, the dough had amazing flavor, and all the toppings, from sauce to meats, was delicious and balanced each other well. In slightly neopolitan stype, the middle is a bit soft due to some moisture, and even as someone who values "no flop", this was a trade-off I was willing to accept given how delicious it was.

Big Fan of this small family owned wood-fired pizza restaurant. They do more take out than in-house dining because it's a small place and the food is made to order fresh deliciousness. The pizzas are the best in the area. The menu is limited. A few salads ( caprese a big hit) a few desserts ( canolis r authentic) sides and pizza. We haven't had anything that was less than exceptional. The owners are hard working, personable honest people who take pride in their restaurant, its service and product. You'll pay a lot more for much of the same at nearby Tom D spot, which I also love, but this is that "neighborhood joint" kind of special.

Pizzailol is a very small restaurant in an older strip mall. It is known by locals who have sampled the great pizzas from here. The pizzas have familiar flavors as well as unique combinations that can only be found here. The feeling inside is cozy, and the seating area is small. During the summer there are a couple of tables outside but there are no spectacular views other than the parking lot and the nearby road. The service is always quick and friendly. The prices are reasonable for the quality of pizza. This place is great for picking up pizzas and taking them to enjoy at Juanita Beach Park. I always enjoy coming here for the great thin crust pizzas and great flavors from this family run restaurant

Picked a 12" cheese pizza, pizza was just ok, dough was dense and chewy. Small dining space, a bit pricey for what they offer. Also they don't offer slices, if that matters to you.

I don't often write reviews for heavily-reviewed places... but this needs to be said. When it comes to pizza, I'm generally a carnivore. Pepperoni and/or sausage, along with something to make it interesting, like red or orange pepper, or black olives. I also like bbq/chicken/cilantro. But in this case I'm gonna say that their Margherita is their best pizza. It just tastes insanely fresh - I don't generally like Margherita pizza but this is a must-order delight. If in doubt go XL as it's thin and light. They sometimes have a special pizza with fig and caramelized onion that is great too. Salads have been good in person. This is not the fastest nor the cheapest pizza around, and if you just want a pepperoni for the game I'd say go to Papa John's (the phone-in carry-out specials are a ridiculous value there) . But if you want to do a leisurely date night or have something different and special in the rotation yes this is the right place.

We had a hankering for wood-fired pizza, and decided to check this place out. Was not disappointed! The pizza was truly wood-fired. It came out just the right amount of crisp. The pizza itself was tasty, which is always something I appreciate about authentic pizza. After all, the idea is that good pizza should be able to be enjoyed even when minimalistic! We had the pear gorgonzola pizza with added prosciuto and the di carne. Both tasted great (though my wife said the di carne was just a tad bit salty), especially the pear gorgonzola. The pear pairs perfectly with the balsamic reduction, and the pecan and gorgonzola gives perfect texture. All the flavours blend perfectly. Service is pretty quick too, so that's a plus. Great place. Definitely will be returning again and again and again. I just came here yesterday and already craving their pizza again today!

Usually I absolutely LOVE this place but I'm feeling maybe because we ordered before closing they were short on ingredients and couldn't put sufficient amount of cheese. I know it's a margarita but compared to other pictures it seems posted it definitely seems less than marginal amounts for the money I paid extra to have " buffalo mozzarella" they could have at least given me an ample amount to say the least I usually love this place and the sauce and crust are amazing

THE BEST PIZZA I had in Washington so far! This little hidden gem is a must. Basically, only locals know about this place so IYKYK. Thin crust, wooden fire pizza, with so much flavor, Italian style. We ordered half Di Carne, half Bianca and a classic Margarita. It's weird to say, but all the pizza's were so juicy and delicious haha! The Bianca was so different from all the white pizza's I have had, with lots of roasted garlic, roasted onions, goat cheese, sausage etc., it was so good. So if your a garlic lover, this is the one for you. The ambience was very chill, quiet, kid friendly. Super clean and the staff were very nice. More people need to know about this place, so if you're in Kirkland, please stop by and enjoy some delicious pizza and a cold beer. I would love to see this place packed.

Tried a new pizza place to us today and thought it was ok. Given the high rating and good reviews, I had high expectations but it was just average for me. We got the large pizza with ,1/2 pizzaiolo and 1/2 calabrese. The pizza was 16 in for a large and it was 10 decent size slices. We ate the pizza within 30 minutes of getting it but the crunch was lost and it was more chewy than I would like. The pizzaiolo was the groups favorite as it was more flavorful and for some reason just taste better. The calabrese has this odd flavor combo that I didn't like much. For a large, it was around $38 after tax. Overall, in glad to try but not going back since there are other good places nearby.

This place is a hole in the wall with outstanding pizza. Best for take out, as the restaurant itself is small and quite noisy, but the pizza is so authentic and so good. Thin crust with excellent toppings - truly so much better than most pizza in this area. If you're looking for the real thing, this is it!!

The service and pizza is excellent. I think it's the margarita pizza in the Seattle area. It never disappoints.

Pizzaiolo doesn't really need another five-star review, but I'm providing one anyway! Our family stopped in for lunch on a Saturday a few weeks ago, parking was easy and the place was quiet. The decor is what I'd call low-key euro-cool, and the place felt clean and tidy. This place only serves the basics, i.e. pizzas, calzones and a couple of salads, but their food is anything but basic. The pizza menu includes such specialties as lamb and beef, pear and gorgonzola, and smoked salmon. Our kid has a one-track mind when it comes to pizza, so he ordered a large pepperoni. My partner took the veggie calzone and I had a large veggie pizza. All arrived quickly and looking, well, as good as the attached pictures suggest. This is where the tough confessions come in... The intent was to take home some leftovers, but it wasn't meant to be. I ate the whole large vegetarian pie. Nothing left of the calzone either. The food was just that good... The crust was the right kind of crispy and the quality of the veggies was uncommon for a pizza joint. Our kid made a solid dent in his pepperoni pie, but did manage to bring home some leftovers. Per his oral report on the subject, it reheated well and he made short work of it for breakfast the next day. Pizzaiolo is little hole in the wall in a strip mall and it's easy to pass it by, especially with a Pagliacci's a block away. But do yourself a favor, drive the extra block and give Pizzaiolo a try. It's worth it.

The pizza is delicious. The dough is made to perfection. This is an amazing family-owned business. I loved my visit there and will be ordering more. Perfect for pizza nights.

The aroma here is amazing. It makes me feel cozy and ready to expect an amazing pizza. i enjoy the decor and setting of the place but i really came here for the pizza oven. WOODFIRED pizza. my favorite, i'll always go to try a slice or pizza. The Wife wanted a Margarita Pizza, so that's what we ordered. Crispy thin crust, the best. The sauce has a good amount of tang to it. great flavor.

Wonderful wood fired pizza The place has ample parking and it was great to try them on a frosty night! They have a great selection of vegetarian items on their menu We tried the vegetarian and Margarita pizza and they both were delish! The vegetarian pizza was filled with yummy toppings. The pizza's were thin, chewy and had a wonderful charred taste. It was so good! The portion size was good- we took 2 small for a group of 3 . I saw large on a few tables and it was definitely LARGE! We also tried the Caesar salad and Tiramisu- it was okay. Having read the great reviews for the dessert, I was expecting it to be amazing but it was meh! Great pizza place !! I definitely want to try other vegetarian pizzas on the menu

Ordered added blue cheese and did not feel it was added. Very faint amount of cheese. Not very much flavor. First experience is our last. Not a memorable experience.

One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time! We love a gourmet pizza made with chicken. Decided on the Gorgonzola with garlic,basil added chicken that was seasoned perfectly! I'm sure the traditional is excellent also. The cheese and crust was so flavorful. The interior is very inviting considering the exterior needs a strip mall makeover. Don't let this deter you, the pizza makes up for it!

A unassuming little pizza joint in a strip center you'd never think is putting out some awesome eats! Visiting from Texas we found this spot down the way from where we were staying. The pizza is sooooo good. We love Margherita pizza's and wow they nailed the quality and flavor. The crust is amazing from the wood fire and has the right amount of balance in the toppings. Can I also give a big shout out to the fresh salad... they had this yummy scoop of cannoli bean salad on top. If you want a great pizza or just a salad... do not pass this place up. We got it to go and it was hot and fresh!

Strip mall hidden gem! I was shocked by how good the pizza is here. We had the special which had fig, prosciutto, Mozzarella, goat cheese etc and the Margherita with buffalo mozz and they both were spectacular! Hard to find good Italian style pizza in this area but this hit the spot!

Thinnest wood fired pizza on eastside...how is it soo thin and yet sliding off into oven evades my brain. I loved it but It is still my third favorite neopolitan style pizza on eastside. I ordered the large veggie pizza. It was cooked well, thin base which i personally love but lot more flappy than i would like. The sauce was good but i definitely had to add more salt on it...not that it did not have salt in sauce...but definitely had to add more. This is really no dine in restaurant, but pizza is more fun at home with movies anyway. I see myself ordering carryout just because it is close to my house. But even if you live far away, definitely try it out (but carry out), you may just find your favorite pizza

I can only comment on the vegetarian pizzas and calzone - we have tried them all and they are excellent. The quality is consistent.

Hard to find real deal wood fired pizza anywhere in Seattle - this place in Kirkland is a go-to keeper - bookmark it! Best pizza, good people - look for their new location on 70th as well!

My husband and I decided to look for a good wood-fired pizza place in the Juanita-Kirkland area and Pizzaiolo came up. We looked at the menu and were intrigued by the smoked salmon pizza, so we decided to try it. When we got there the place is small, but nicely decorated and very clean. All empty tables were already cleaned (a rare occurrence at most places). Our waitress, Araceli, came over right away, and we ordered the large smoked salmon pizza. Our wait time was minimal and the pizza looked amazing! Large, thin slices of smoked salmon draped over the cheese, and a dollop of dill tartar sauce was on every slice. The crust was thin (just how we like it) so that the delicious flavors of the pizza were not buried by thick dough. It was prepared and baked in the wood fire to perfection. We couldn't even finish it, and had the leftover pizza for dinner! Yes, you are going to pay more than you would from a pizza chain (this large pizza was $32) but for this kind of quality, it was absolutely worth it. And if you're not looking at those Health Department ratings on the front of the restaurants you frequent- you need to start. See how many EXCELLENT ratings are posted on the front doors. You will find they are rare. But Pizzaiolo has an EXCELLENT rating, and it doesn't surprise me. An absolute must if you love wood-fired pizza, and I know we'll be back!

Absolutely delicious pizza. I have now had Pizzaiolo two times, the first time I ordered the Bianca Pizza. The Bianca is probably one of my favorite pizzas that I have ever had. The garlic, goat cheese, onions, basil, and pork sausage just work amazing together. It's such a rich tasting pizza and I seriously will probably eat way too many slices in the future. My second time I had Pizzaiolo I decided to try the pepperoni. It's a good pepperoni by all means, the tomato sauce is more sweet than others I've had and it works well. Damn good pizza but the Bianca will be my go to. I'll definitely try other pizzas on the menu on future visits as well.

Discovered this gem in Juanita and I'm hooked! We split the special of the day which was a fig and prosciutto balsamic pizza with I think ricotta cheese and walnuts! So good! Would definitely go back

The staff was very friendly and checked in to see if we needed anything. The salad was nice and fresh. I appreciate the side of lemon. The pizza was delicious and had a bit of a crunchy crust which I enjoyed. We ordered a small vegetarian pizza to go with a side salad and it was bigger than we expected. Would definitely come back.

I'm 35 years old. I've eaten.. Thousands, of 'Zzas. That was the best pizza I've ever had. I was explaining to my wife how the 'pernonis were the perfect size and leanness to cup up and burn dose edgies without makin a pool of that grease. The salad was bomb too. I would've taken pics but it was just amazing.

A friend and I got take out from here and it was so good! Perfect crust, thin and a little chewy. We got a pepperoni and a Bianca. We topped the Bianca with arugula and balsamic glaze. Much better than any chain pizza places in the area!

The most incredible pizza in the Seattle area. Their special pizza is great. We ordered a large pizza, half the special from the chalkboard and the other half, the chef's recommendation. Turned out perfect. Highly recommended!

Cute family owned little restaurant . I have been twice and the cashier was I believe the daughter of the owner. Very kind / soft spoken young lady who provided us with exceptional customer service . She took our order(we ordered a lasagna and margherita pizza, both were DELICIOUS ) and brought it to us. While We were eating she checked on us, and asked if we needed anything . She offered to go boxes when she saw what she believes we were finished eating. She also cleared our table and offered to do anything else that she could. For a small place that is not necessarily waitress service; we got exactly that. This is a great quick neighborhood spot that I highly recommend.

I was told that Pizzaiolo had pizza almost as good as you can find in Italy. My girlfriend is from Rome and is constantly looking for pizza that is close to what is served in Italy. It's tough because we've been to at least 10 restaurants that claim to be authentic pizza and she says they are not even close. She was unsure of the place when we drove into the parking lot. Immediately she said that the name should be Pizzaiola, since Pizzaiolo is not grammatically correct. I told her Americans bastardize pretty much every foreign language that comes to our shores. We went in and things started to look better. The oven was what you would see in a pizza shop in Italy. We looked at the menu and ordered the Margherita. She said if they do it right the other pizzas should be just as good. We also ordered their special of the week, which was a chanterelle mushroom and mozzarella cheese pizza. The server took our order and the pizzas came out in about 10 minutes. She said the crust was very good, however she said the sauce had a little too much garlic, but was good. The mozzarella was not up to Italian standards, but that is due to American mozzarella being made with cow's milk instead of buffalo milk. I've had buffalo milk mozzarella and it tastes totally different than American cow's milk mozzarella. The chanterelle mushroom pizza was just as good. She said it was one of the best pizza shops she has been to in the Seattle area. In regards to the service, fantastic! Friendly, quick and interested in you having a great dining experience. If you are wanting pizza, this is a great place if you are in Kirkland. Get the pizza to go or delivered. You will never eat a Dominos or Pizza Hut pizza again.

Definitely top five for pizza! Let's get into this! So we ordered 4 pies, I ordered over the phone and the guys there were very nice and polite. I did ask a bunch of questions and they answered everything keeping great customer service. When I came in I could smell the pizza. It was also nice and clean. From the entrance you could see the place where they do the baking)) So on to the taste. The red sauce is probably one of the best I ever had but the pizza in general was average and good. The toppings were spread well so we had a full taste in every bite and the cheese lock around the crust was good. Price! I do believe the price was just a tad bit high. I would expect a little lower but I would still buy again. All in all I like the Pizza here and it's definitely a number 3 or 4. Stop by and give them a go. They are following all COVID guidelines.

Went back here last week after many years and I'm so glad we did. Grabbed a couple of pizzas and ate them outside in the car in the pouring rain; a perfect date with the wife. The Margherita was absolutely spectacular. I could taste the freshness of the pure and unadulterated tomatoes, the fragrance of the basic and the and depth richness of the cheese. The crust was perfect, thin, slightly chewy, charred bubbles along the ridge giving a tiny hint of bitterness and overall a pizza that would make an Italian grandmother proud. We also got the Vegetarian. It was super loaded with lots of fresh and delicious veggies. While it tasted incredible when fresh, the leftovers of the vegetarian Pizza didn't exactly lend well to re-heating (which tbh is also the sign of a good Italian style Pizza). Overall the pizzas with fantastic, the staff was super friendly and while the prices are a tad high, they are fairly justified by the quality of the product. I would definitely swing by here again and more regularly even though it is a 30 minute drive.

If you love thin crust pizza (everyone should and healthier too), this is the place to go! They make wonderful 12" standard size wood fired pizzas. The crust is quite similar to what I have had in Naples, i.e. true Napoli pizza crust. If you want the true Napoli pizza experience, get the Margherita pizza. That's how it's serve there. Otherwise, topping choices and options look fairly standard. Nothing too unusual or weird. I'm a certifiable vegetarian pizza eater and that was quite tasty. My hubby liked his meat pizza. Prices are $16 for most pizzas with toppings. Online website has the info. We did a pickup ourselves. Only 10 minutes wait on a weekend night. The restaurant itself is modest size. If you go there with a big group, might need to wait. The pizza lost some crispness coming home to eat, but it was tasty for sure!

This is our go to place for great oven fired pizza. Only complaint is parking is limited. Salads are also good.

Wow! Great wood-fired pizza that doesn't require going bankrupt wallet-wise. Easily the best pizza in Kirkland and only rivaled by Spark Pizza in the east side region.

Great ambience. Pizza was delicious. I am so glad I found this place as it'd be my new neighborhood pizza place, They have Mexican coke, which I love bc it doesn't have too much sugar. The music was also exceptionally good. We'll be back!
