Pizza to the Polls Will Feed Thousands of Voters Stuck in Long Lines on Election Day | Eater

"Founded in the days leading up to the 2016 election by software engineer Scott Duncombe, this nonpartisan nonprofit coordinates pizza deliveries to polling places (and occasionally to protest gatherings) to feed voters, poll workers, and volunteers stuck in long lines. People report long waits via the group's website by submitting links to social posts, and volunteers then order from local pizzerias so donors' money goes straight to meals. In its inaugural effort it raised roughly $43,307 from 1,728 donors and delivered 2,368 pizzas (about 25,000 slices) to 128 polling places across 24 states; since launching the organization has raised just over $110,000 in total. The group has also supported airport protests and, during early voting in the 2018 midterms, sent 1,274 pizzas to 93 polling places in 17 states, with heavy activity in Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio." - Whitney Filloon

What an Awesome little pizza shop! I traveled there from Louisville Kentucky for business, and had great food here. Their menu board has a extensive array of choices. Inside the restaurant on the ordering side is rustic with all rough sawn wood and is very Cool. Highly Recommend. The photo's I took of what you see while seated. I wish I would have taken a photo of the menu board.

I have been eating at Pizzalicious for over 25 years and their food was excellent then and is just as good if not better today. Breadsticks are the best in the state, country imo. Strombolis are my personal favorite with breadsticks! I have had their pizza, salads, and most everything on the menu and I have never been disappointed! Pizzalicious is not only the best pizza around, but they also care deeply about their customers and support their community. Pizzalicious has had the same owners for as long as I can remember. If you are ever in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop by and see what all of the fuss is about. :-)

We got breadsticks, a small Hawaiian, and an all meat. We wanted to see how this place stacked up. It was AMAZING!!! The topping load was very good. The crust slightly chewy but the flavor was incredible! This will be on the top 3 local pizza places for my family for a long while.

Compared to all the other Pizza shops,I feel I payed too much for this Pizza.I paid for a large 3 topping Pizza with Extra cheese 29.10 and compared to others it was like Hunt Brother Pizzas which us ok for a cheap pizza.I could even get one of those cheaper at the gas and go for half that price and more Toppings!!!

We used to go here multiple times a month and after Corona we just decided absolutely not they're too expensive their product has went downhill and to not get a sauce with bread sticks is just plain being cheap.

I've been eating pizzalicous for many years in fact it's the only pizza I like .they are pricey and normally I get a small Supreme and I got to have it WELL DONE!! And I believe some of the kids don't keep it in oven alil longer.thats my only downfall with pizzalicious.

Got the 8" pizza lunch special. Probably costs a little more than it should, but it was good. The bread sticks were quite good. The pizza itself, a sausage & pepperoni, was tasty. Can recommend this place.

I used to live in Westport and I couldn't wait to have their pizza and Stromboli! I've been gone over 20 years! It tasted just as I remembered it!DELICIOUS!!! The difference is definitely in their sauce. I don't know what they do but it is definitely a step above any other pizza sauce I've ever had! Steak Stromboli... Pizza sauce and mushrooms! It is so good! So glad we got to stop in and enjoy one of our old favorites. It's so much larger inside now. They bought the area next to it and opened it up to a big dining area. It was very clean and would be a great spot to join friends.

Love Pizzalicious! Always great pizza! Phone estimated times seem to be a little all over the place but the food seems to always be ready before I arrive for pickup, I'm not sure if that's a compliment or a complaint.

I love the pizza! I love the breadsticks! Service is excellent I've never been inside, i had delivery. I can't wait to try more on the menu. I had a personal pepperoni with jalapeño pizza and breadsticks with nacho cheese. I recommend this place!

The food was mediocre at best, overpriced and had add-ins we didn't ask, nor pay for, but regardless, it was overruled by the terrible workers in the back. Our entire visit, the workers were screaming a yelling and at one point, came running out into the dining area screaming. I have videos, but Yelp won't let me upload those. There was no ambiance at all, just screaming and shouting from the workers in the back.

My first ever trip to pizzalicious. I was so excited when I heard they had a cauliflower crust! I've missed out on going out with family to local pizza places for so long and now I don't have to. I can not even tell you how excited I am! We decided to order two and share. They were nice enough to accommodate my order even though they don't typically do the specialty pizzas on the cauliflower crusts. We ordered the supreme & chicken ranch. They were out really quickly I was surprised at how fast. They were both so good I'm not even surre which was my favorite. I can't waIt to go back again.

This is one of the few restaurants in Westport. But don't let that deter you. The food is quite good (get the breadsticks), the portions large, and the prices very reasonable. The downstairs seating area is pretty small and there's a lot of foot traffic to the counter (I guess they do a lot of takeout/delivery). If you go upstairs, there is a lot more seating and it's quiet.

We locals depend on Pizzalicious ! We mix it up getting pizza, Stromboli or salad. For me their signature dish is steak Stromboli with mushroom sauce.

I like this place. I call in for pick up, always ready when I get there, about 20 minutes. Good pizza, better than the chain pizza places. I like support local places. Stromboli's are good, pizza's are real good. I have never had a bad meal.

I ordered a medium double pepperoni pizza and an order of breadsticks with nacho cheese sauce. Everything was absolutely great. I've been eating chain restaurant pizza for so long I forgot how good a mom and pop style home made pizza could be. The one thing that stuck out to me more than anything was the sauce. It was great, and they actually put enough on it unlike most places. The crust was perfectly cooked and had a great flavor as well. Another thing that stands out on the double pepperoni... Is the crunchy pepperoni on top. I can't remember the last time I had a crunchy pepperoni! It was great. The interior and the service was great as well. Can't wait to go back.

Food was great, especially the bread sticks! However, the customer service was lacking.. The woman who was running the register never smiled, only asked for the order name. I attempted to pay cash but was informed that "We can't break a bill that big" (I tried to pay with a $100.) I was intrigued as my visit was at 6:30 p.m. & I figured after a full day of business the restaurant could account for about $80 in change. Wondering how pizzalicious accommodates cash paying customers? Luckily I had my debit card on me so I was able to pay for my order...

They recently connected with adjacent building and remodeled. Their seating capacity is great now. Last night I tried the cauliflower crust pizza with pepperoni. It was pretty good. A nice gluten free alternative.

This is the 2nd time I stopped in and placed an order & then wait over 60 minutes. This time I inquired to find out my pizza was sitting on their shelf boxed. Not even in the warmer. To say my pizza & breadstick were cold is an understatement. So frustrated & disappointed

My new favorite! Great pizza and breadsticks (all we've tried so far). Nice ratio of toppings. We've been twice- two different crews working and both were very friendly and welcoming. Prices very fair ($17.99 for large 2 topping and 2 large breadsticks).

Having great tasting pizza will only get you so far, your customer service has to match the great taste. We had a great visit this evening, however, we had a large order and the cashier messed the order up. When the manager came out to confirm the order with us, we confirmed what the order was supposed to be and the manager seemed annoyed and inconvenienced by this. Two things: 1) don't ever get annoyed with your customer for an order being wrong- hire better employees. 2) as a manager, be apologetic when its obviously necessary. Overall, the food was great and we had a great time. However, remember that the "Guest Experience" trumps everything - as this dictates your future business and continued revenue.

The pizza is decent for what it is. A very small town pizza joint. Is step up from the chains like papa johns or domino's but what it really holding back the quality is how it's baked and that directly effects the quality of the crust. They use a chain drive conveyor oven rather than a true pizza oven. This made the crust chewy rather than crisp on the bottom. This was I believed their hand tossed crust as recommended as their best seller. I probably should have tried the thin crust.

5 years ago, I made a point to go back to Pizzalicious because I loved their food so much! Wings, breadsticks, pizza, stromboli...all of it. We were in town and returned this past weekend and the food and service have both gone into the dumps! The breadsticks were chewy and dry, we ordered extra sauce on our pizza and it was basically dry, and they messed up our order and charged us for an extra order of breadsticks! Not to mention all the new ways of "nickle and diming" their customers. What used to be my favorite pizza place in the entire state has now gone straight to the bottom of the list! The leftovers are going to the dogs. I would NOT recommend.
