Tasty food, good service, and lots of good options. We stumbled into this spot on a cold rainy night and had a really nice time. The pizza and the burrata were excellent. We also tried the chocolate brownie - it was well made and tasty though not the biggest fan of the gelato they served on the side. We also tried the port wine and it was great.

The Bucatini all'amatriciana is the best I have had in this country. The food is served literally right off the skillet. Friendly, and helpful, staff. And the prices are very reasonable. The Italian lentil soup was awesome as well.

I had a quick lunch before heading to my spa appointment and kept it simple with the focaccia, which was warm and delicious, and an arugula salad topped with grilled chicken, paired with just water. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was prompt and efficient. The space wasn’t too busy since it was later in the afternoon, and the staff was attentive and kind. The meal was hearty, with generous portions at a great price. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I’m looking forward to returning and exploring more of menu options.

Amazing pizza and pasta with a great wine selection! The indoor seating is beautiful, and the covered heated patio is perfect year-round. It’s a little on the spendy side, but totally worth it—and still family-friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here after a weekend of wine tasting further north. I normally stop at another restaurant in this area, but decided to try something new. I was not disappointed. Good service and really good food. My date had the ravioli and I had the lasagna. Both were quite delicious. My only complaint would be that we had to order bread separately and the portions on the ravioli could have been better. I will return for sure. There was lots on the menu I'd like to try.

One of many wonderful options on the plaza in Healdsburg. Outdoor and indoor seating. Small bar area. The cocktails were delicious. Mixed well and dressed nice. The food was equally delicious. Pizza was a little under cooked for my liking but delicious nonetheless. The artichoke was a perfect appetizer. Simple aioli and cooked so the leaves were tender. Recommend anytime you are nearby.

Food was okay but ambience was great!! Not a great experience! Staff were amazing but we didn’t like the food and there was hair in the pizza. We were compensated with a new pizza on the house though! Pizza was ok but pasta wasn’t great! Not sure if I’m gonna go back.

We recently checked out Pizzando and it did not disappoint! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which really set the tone for a great experience. Now, let's talk about the food. The pizza was so good - crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. We also tried some of the appetizers and they were equally delicious. It's clear that the ingredients are fresh, which makes all the difference. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Pizzando if you're in the area. The staff and atmosphere are both laid back and friendly, and the food is top-notch.

This is my parents' favorite pizza spot, so I was excited to finally try it. The last time we tried to eat here was on a weekend around 6 PM, there was a 2 hour wait, so we ended up going somewhere else. Pizzando is a small and cozy restaurant with limited indoor seating, so this time we came early on a Wednesday around 5:30 PM to try to get seated right away. The hostess initially tried to put our group of 4 outside in 50 degree weather, but she managed to combine 2 tables so we could sit inside, which we really appreciated. You could tell she was stressed even though there was only one person in line ahead of us, but I think it might be because they handle a lot of online/takeout orders and she was constantly running around. They may be a bit understaffed(?), which would explain it. She was working hard, but the quality of service felt a little affected. We ordered the calamari appetizer, focaccia bread, beet salad, and 2 pizzas. I would probably order everything again if I came back. The calamari is not what you might expect, it's not battered and crispy but chewy and served in a delicious sauce with a nice kick from the shishito peppers, as shown in my photo. We ended up dipping the focaccia in the leftover sauce and loved it. The beet salad was light and refreshing, a good contrast to all the carbs coming our way. The pizza was great and I especially loved the margherita. You can really taste the quality in the mozzarella, and the dough was fluffy and chewy. Overall, the food was excellent, but I would give the ambiance a 3/5. Our waitress was fine but a little clumsy, and she asked to clear our plates a few times when we were still clearly eating... There were also tiny little flying bugs that kept hovering around our table. They wer SUPER tiny, even smaller than fruit flies but clustered together, and we had to keep swatting them away from our food. I am not sure if this is a regular thing or if it was just because we were seated near the door and they flew in, but it was a nuisance for sure.

Pizzando - Healdsburg Healdsburg was quiet that afternoon. One restaurant had just closed, another bagel shop locked its doors early while someone scrubbed the counters inside. We were hungry and out of options, so we wandered into Pizzando. It looked decent enough. We sat outside next to the the sidewalk, by the street, half enjoying the Sonoma sun, half fighting off flies and truck noise. The fig and blue cheese pizza sounded like something crafted with intent...pancetta, blue cheese, ricotta, arugula, pear, balsamic. Forty-five minutes later, it showed up missing the pancetta. The server shrugged, wandered off, and returned with a plate of cubed pancetta like it was some kind of peace offering. We topped the pizza ourselves. It wasn't bad...sweet, salty, creamy...but the rhythm was off. The focaccia showed up late, the pacing sloppy, the whole experience just slightly out of tune. They knocked two bucks off the bill, a gesture as thin as the crust. Pizzando isn't terrible. It's just the kind of place that reminds you how fragile a good meal is...how easily it can all go sideways when the kitchen forgets what's supposed to be on the pizza. We won't be back.

Pizzando had become our go to for a while, but this latest visit made us change our mind for a few reasons. Some of the servers were keen on making us take the places behind the door or if not then next to the door. We wanted to sit outside, many tables with 4 seats were empty, since we were 2 people those servers were looking to keep them unoccupied. Finally there was one guy who welcomed to make any of those seats available. We go to Pizzando to especially order their minestrone. Somehow they have discontinued that and now for a vegetarian option, it's a lentils soup, possible. Sad. Also, the veggie options now being lesser and somehow the taste hasn't been great off late. My only probable options are a couple of appetisers, and the Vegan pizza and one other pizza, which is always repeat ordered. I guess not much to look forward to, to coming back as often as we did.

Went here for a relaxing afternoon lunch on a Saturday, and there were only a few other customers here! Staff was friendly, great uniforms, and were happy to chat about the options on menu with us. Interior has warm modern aesthetics, pretty chic and suitable for anything between a casual lunch to an upscale date night pizza dinner. I ordered a blackberry mocktail: very refreshing, like a bubbly lemonade with blackberry syrup. My friend ordered a spritz flight, which were all superb and a huge amount of liquid to get through (each came in a wine glass). Luckily, we weren't in a hurry and neither was the restaurant busy, and were able to enjoy them all. For food, we opted for the focaccia which was delicious and everything I love about fresh bread (soft and hot and fun to tear apart with your hands). We got a funghi pizza, which was a good size for two people and plenty flavorful with nice crust. If I'm back in the area again, I definitely would go back. There's outdoor seating which looks fun and fair amount of wines to get through if you're in the area for wine country.

Gave you 5 stars because my husband liked your pizza. However, I had the eggplant dish and the chunks of eggplant with skin on was not exactly what I expected. The sauce was good but the rest didn't digest well. Next time we come I'll try your gluten free pizza. I thought eggplant was supposed to be slice horizontally and then breaded and cooked like chicken parm. Waiter was very personable and efficient.

The restaurant gets really busy during dinner but we were able to get seated with a small wait since we didn't have reservations. The food took a bit longer but only because they were accommodating take out and dine in orders but they did do the best they could. We didn't mind the wait as the food made up for it. The lasagna was really good and I love when the food comes out extremely hot. You can't go wrong with margherita pizza. The Caesar salad however was way too heavy on the dressing but I'd just order the dressing on the side next time. Service here was very kind and friendly. Definitely a good spot to eat if you're trying to figure out where to go in healdsburg!

I was visiting a friend in Healdsburg and decided to try Pizzando. My friend had been there before and highly recommended it. It was a busy Saturday evening but we were seated immediately. The waitress was attentive and took our order quickly. We decided on ordering a few things to share such as the brussel sprouts, Cacio e Pepe, and funghi pizza. The brussel sprouts were roasted and made with lemon and Parmesan cheese. The flavor was good but I did feel like it could have used more lemon juice. The Funghi pizza was made with a garlic cream sauce, pancheta, and truffle oil. It was delicious. I normally enjoy a cream sauce or olive oil based pizza so it was perfect for me. Our second dish was the Cacio e Pepe. I don't normally order the Cacio e Pepe but it was very creamy and satisfying. I would definitely return to Pizzando when in Healdsburg next time.

We recently visited for dinner on a BUSY Tuesday night without a reservation. Their location on the corner of Healdsburg Ave and Matheson is prime - across the street from Healdsburg's beloved Plaza, where there's live music on Tuesday nights. So the outdoor/parklet seating was understandably full, but the team was happy to seat us inside. Just note on a warm day that that inside can get pretty warm too! Three of us shared a caesar salad with added grilled chicken - classic and savory - plus cacio e pepe and broccolini pizza with the thin/romana style crust. Everything was tasty! I'd never had their thin crust pizza - it's very light and a good choice in summer. It will be my go to when I return. Our server was very warm and friendly, even if a bit green and unaware of specifics about the menu. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. I'll try for outdoor seating in the future, and I look forward to another romana-style pizza. Cheers.

The ambience, location and choice of dishes are great. I was craving for more flavor though. Like the beets and arugula salad could do with more dressing, and add ons like walnuts/ pistachois, some goat cheese, balsamic... The pizzas were good nibbles, I needed something more on the seasoning, so I added a fair bit of red chilli flakes, parmesan and olive oil. We tried the funghi and the pear gorgonzola. Both were decent. Maybe the meat choices were better, but I'll never know that as I'm a herbivore. The crust was delicious and each of us raved about the crunchiness and the teste of the crust! A fun happening location and would work well for groups as they have a solid selection, and have pizzas, burgers and pastas to choose from.

Came here for dinner with the kids - there were 9 of us and we were able to be seated quickly. We ordered a whole bunch of pastas along with some octopus, Brussels sprouts and polenta as well. All were very well made and tasty - and my favorites are the lasagna and the Brussels sprouts. Would definitely come back here again next time!

Friends night out. Just enjoyed another lovely dining experience! We loved the burger, pasta, gem salad, and the burrata -- which we all paired with an Aperol Spritz. Shoutout to the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. So much to try--until next time.

Gave Pizzando another try and had a better experience this time. We ordered our food to go and we were impressed with the host person - he was really pleasant and helped us determine what was best to order. The bar is attractive (was able to watch the Warriors play) and our focaccia & burrata delicious.

The Lemon Parmesan Brussels Sprouts were pretty good, a little salty, cooked well, and good flavor. Definitely a good portion as well. The service is a little dry but not horrible. The pepperoni pizza is delicious with lots of cheese and very flavorful.

Pros: service is awesome, pricing is fair. Cons: pizza is very average and brussels sprouts missing the balsamic and bacon...

Friendly service. Burrata was good, but the Cacio e Pepe lacked flavor (cheese, salt and pepper). Bolognese was not well balanced and slightly sweet.

Food was delicious Homemade pasta. We had the gnocchi and the bucatini. Great wine selection. Simple elegance. We sat on the patio, we received a warm welcome with our baby and dog. Even brought a doggie water bowl, and did not hesitate when we ordered grilled chicken for our senior dog. The soft serve to finish was the perfect touch! Must do in Healdsburg!

We visited the area on a Saturday afternoon and it was a cute spot. We sat near the bar area at a table. My boyfriend ordered a drink and I ate fries. The Parmesan fries were good. We came in after walking around Healdsburg for a while. This place was good!

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Service relatively fast. Food was good. Ordered: Belfiore Burrata. Menu states heirloom tomatoes, i don't think we received heirloom tomatoes. Still tasted good just not what was expected based off of menu description/cost Bucatini Amatriciana: flavor was simple and tasted just as good as any other red pasta sauce. Pasta was a bit harder or felt a tad undercooked. Or at least to my own preference. Ratio of sauce to pasta felt unbalanced but might be my own preference. Neapolitan funghi pizza. Favorite item that we ordered. Flavor was nice, tasted like it also had some truffle oil if you enjoy that flavor. Pizza crust was crispy and soft inside.

Wonderful food and look beyond pizza for some great dishes. Eggplant parmesan is one of my favorites. Easy delivery as well.

A coworker of ours suggested Pizzando for lunch and not knowing where it was located I typed it into my GPS. Once I arrived I realized I had walked by this restaurant a million times unknowingly. We came by on a Thursday with a group of 5 after a spa day. No reservations were needed, we were sat within minutes of arriving, the restaurant is modern although I found the space felt limited. The open window concept allowed for lots of natural light while we sat indoors and people watched. Outdoor seating looked lovely but weather was not permitting on this day. We ordered numerous apps, entrees and pizzas. And of course, a round of drinks (or three). At the end of lunch we wanted to try the gelato but were told the machine had been down for a few months which was a bummer. For entree I had the lobster cannoli, I had a few bites and took the rest home as I was full from all the apps. I reheated my left overs at home and found it to be even better reheated than at the restaurant! Overall I give Pizzando a 8/10. It is a great lunch spot with prime location. I'll likely be returning and hopefully trying the gelato.

This review is strictly about the soft serve. Truth be told, I have lived in Sonoma county for more than 3 decades and have never had a meal in Pizzando but now that soft serve is on the menu, I have visited on warm summer weekend days for a quick treat. What I find interesting is that 2out of 2 times I was in recently, the staff have informed me the soft serve is not ready and they will need to make it. on both occasions, I visited between the hours of 3pm and 6pm. The fact the soft serve is advertised on the side walk with a big soft serve cone drawing people in, and not available on demand is shocking to me. I was in most recently on a warm Sunday afternoon and the person who walked in behind me also wanted a soft serve and when we were told we had to wait for it to be made, he walked out and didn't return, I opted to wait for my treat. So moral of the story, if you are looking for a quick teat, be prepared to wait for your soft serve at Pizzando or walk to the other side of the square for a scoop from either Angela's (near Duke's bar) or a scoop from Noble Folk.

A great place to have dinner in downtown Healdsburg without breaking the bank. The portions are quite large, I was especially surprised by the amount of truffle fries. The pizza was good and the brussel sprouts were fantastic. The service was good too.

Probably the worst pizza we ever had just few crumbles of cheese,hardly any sausage lots of plain pizza sauce and crust had no flavor (I think someone forgot to add salt to dough)The staff and service was excellent though so 1 star for that. The pear and ricotta appetizer was just OK.We had the orange cannoli and vanilla donuts wasn't the best. I don't think we'll be back

I think I was expecting a tad bit more from Pizzando. So I give it a solid 3. I've been here before and it was much better the first time around. This time the food was just okay. Ordered some Brussels and it was just a plate full of single leaves, not really any Brussel bulbs so it was hard to enjoy them. Ordered the Margherita pizza and it didn't really have much basil on it, so I was a little disappointed. The pizza was just okay. Would I come back? Maybe for the drinks and the soft serve. HWo knows maybe third time will be the charm.

Cocktails and soft serve ice cream bar...why not? The other side is a small restaurant with floor-ceiling windows facing the plaza with wonderful offerings to satisfy many. Italian and local wines, craft beer and truffle fries. Pastas, pizzas, salads, sides of Brussels sprouts and other contorni, I think it would be hard to be unhappy here. I had the Burrata which is coated and fried with a tomato olive marinara -- all very delicious and hit the spot on this celebratory day. An Italian Sangiovese, a couple slices of foccacia, nice company around me to chat with, it was a sweet rainy day experience. Decaf Affogato topped it off and I was a very happy customer! Brandon was my server - nice guy, good communication. I couldn't ask for a nicer afternoon in Healdsburg. Ciao!

My fourth time in a few years dining here. Always was great on all levels. Must have changed management and it is disappointing. All servers: casual yoga pants, cargo pants, hoodies, sneakers. This is on management to set expectations. From my hospitality experience the standard industry wear is polo, button up, and or slacks/dockers because if you wear loose clothing it is a food and safety hazard ( your hoodie sleeve hangs into the food), beanies. Cooks/Chef: also wearing same. Host: we were greeted and seated, but it took about 15 minutes to have the server take our order only because I flagged her down. Servers: all congregating socially often at bar or sink area... taking videos etc.. Cleaning: the first table we sat at had a horrible smell. Please don't wipe tables all day with same rag. Table Napkins: stained and worn. Food: was on point great oven pizza and sides. It is not the fault of young servers this new service is a reflection of managers not caring and owners not checking up to be at food and safety standards.

Great experience. We had the margherita pizza . The crust was delicious and my partner loved the pepper oil. The seating is comfortable and you can sit inside or outside. They are also very allergy friendly. They checked my food carefully. Parking on the street.

My partner and I were passing through and craving pizza, this spot came through with delicious pizza and calamari! We ended it with their soft serve ice cream. Thanks to our server who kindly added mushrooms to our pepperoni pizza! Outdoor patio seating.

I've never eaten at the restaurant but I've done takeout from Pizzando several times. The pizza is good -- definitely higher end than your local corner pizzeria -- but a bit oily. However, the soft serve is 10 out of 10. With Molti Amici gone (Rest in Peace), Pizzando is now probably the best pizza place in town.

I make changes and add ons to get just what I want and have never been disappointed My go to: Brussels sprout's delicious and Pizza, Pepperoni, Mushroom and Anchovies! They make a superb Caesar Salad and the pizza is 9/10 most of the time. The current pic reflect two weeks ago where the pizza was crispy, flaky and bubbly just what I expected but on may 20th it was stiff like it had been reheated so 9 stars for that plus the staff really wasn't on it they left us out there for at least 15 minutes before taking our order. I usually pop in here after a bike ride and I'm always satisfied so the one bad pizza day won't end my visits.

We had a great lunch, comfortable seating, nice waitress, delicious food. The herbed chicken panini was fresh and flavorful, with a wonderful watercress and field greens salad. He had a pasta bolognese that was one of the best I've ever had. Nice modern brewpub decor was also a treat.

Saw the reviews, but thought I'd try and see for myself. Nice and warm inside compared to the windy and cold weather. I love pizza so glad I tried this place! Tho it needed a few improvements when I got there. People sitting , waiting for a LONG time. And it wasn't busy . A few tables . . . Service wasn't great when I went. The pizza oven was a small one that seemed to have been booked up by an online order pickup, so I had to wait a long awhile. Service was confused on tables and wasn't paying attention . The wait was a while's . A few next to me got frustrated before I even did on timing . One had to finally go up and ask for their check that a different server looked up (the original one just left) , and the other next to me was just frustrated but patient ( I didn't tell them that I saw their pizza in a box then taken out on a platter to serve ). The communication between kitchen and server is pretty poor.. . People were walking in and out of the kitchen that was in front of the dining area like a fun coworker gathering while tables were waiting for a long time for even drink orders . Oof. Just needed a lot of improvements when I visited . It's got potential , but definitely needs ALOT of work based off my experience . Good flavor profiles on pizza picks . Lot of people frustrated tonight when I was there . Hope for the best for this crew !

Went for Sonoma County Restaurant Week Lunch Food - 2/5. Caesar salad's dressing was good and I enjoyed the classic approach of offering anchovies. However, the little gem lettuce lacked crunch and so did the croutons. The croutons must have been fresh as their texture was a weird in-between of bread and crouton. Bucatini was phenomenal! Pasta was a perfect al dente, meatballs were tender and the sauce had a great balance between sour and umami. Unfortunately, the pizza was the completely opposite. Dough was bland and chewy with the tomato sauce also lacking flavor. This was surprising as the tomato sauce on the bucatini was fantastic. The main issue was with the mozzarella as it was tasteless, bland and had a spongy texture. Much of a margherita's selling point comes from a quality mozzarella that carries the entire pizza. Without that key foundation, the entire pizza suffered and felt like an absolute chore to eat. Service - 4/5. Friendly and courteous service. Value - 2/5. The pastas are priced fairly being in the mid $10s to low $20s. Portion sizes aren't the largest, but the quality carried it. Their restaurant week special was advertised on the website as any salad + any pizza, but in person the choice was only caesar and margherita, which was disappointing. The lack of variety meant that the $25 deal wasn't too great. The salad was fine but the horrible pizza made paying for it feel bitter. Parking - Street (Free)

I had a great time at Pizzando. It was raining cats and dogs on the afternoon of my visit and the staff was warm and friendly. They braved the rain to accommodate those sitting in their outdoor cafe. My friend and I had a great time at the bar chatting with staff and getting their recommendations for lunch. The price is right for a Healdsburg pizza and the pasta selection is creative as well. This is my second visit here and will come back again to try the pasta and salad.

Service was excellent and got my meatball panini on homemad rosemary focacia with mozzarella fairly quickly. Food is delicious and so was the refreshing glass of strawberry lemonade. The salad that came with my meal was mostly arugula, which I love and a vinegrette. It was frsh and colorful. It is conveniently local across from the plaza in downtown Healdsburg. The wait staff was attentive and gracious. Looks like the place a wood-fired pizza. May return again someday.

So good. Yes the pizza was ordered half without the broccolini but it was amazing how accommodating the restaurant was and they took the time to explain the dishes. I wish more places had this many amazing options. Sitting outside was nice as they had patio heaters. It made for a great birthday weekend lunch with family.

Had a fun meal here on a Saturday early evening. We chose to dine in their covered dining area outdoors. They have plenty of heaters. Tried the Autumn pizza, it was different with squash on it, it was very good. The Caesar salad delicious as well. Wait staff was very nice, helpful and always checked on us. Oh, we did have the soft serve ice cream for dessert, but I think the machine was not working correctly. Would not order that again. A very enjoyable meal for date night in Healdsburg (we are locals!)

Busy warm October night. Entire town is crammed with tourists. Ate at the outside parklet on the street. The server greeted us almost immediately. We downloaded the menu from the table QR code. Water served quickly. We ordered the seasonal pizza (slices of squash, some pancetta, drizzle of a thick & sweet balsamic vinegar) , Cesar salad, 3 glasses of wine. Overall, good food. Carefully made. Flavorful. Not trendy nor hipster. Of course we finished up with soft serve ice cream. Which was the low point of the meal. The texture was gritty, hardly any of the creaminess texture you expect from soft serve. Out the door for $94 with tax and tip. Satisfied enough. I'd return.

Don't want to cook so stop on for a pizza. Sat around and enjoyed a cockatoo and some own ordered a Margarita with sausage pizza. that sounded great so i ordered the same with double sausage as i'm extra. Wow BEST PIZZZA ever! will definitely cole back again for sure.

Do not come here! Since owner wants to claim my review was fake and get it removed, I'll just repost it. The bathroom has a baby cockroach in it ( this happens when there is an infestation, you only see babies when the nest is full). The burger I got tasted like the grill was dirty, fries were too oily and made my stomach hurt. Here's a tip it's not something you can seal off when you see a baby cockroach in bathroom, they are all over the restaurant.

Food, Service, and Ambiance! Wow! I stopped by during the week for a late lunch. My Caesar Salad was delicious, I loved all the added anchovies. The margarita pizza was great. My special cocktail was tasty. But my Waitperson, Falentina made the experience really special and enjoyable. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and spot on with the service. I will be coming back soon and bringing my friends with me! Thank you for a fun dining experience.

Not worth it. The polenta fries were delicious but that was the only good thing about our experience. The squash and corn pizza was the most disgusting pizza I have ever had, everything on it tasted old. The service was subpar our server offered no solution when we expressed our discontent with the pizza and was generally rude. When trying to get her attention she actively ignored us to continue talking to another server and did not check on our table unless we got her attention (which was a hard thing to do). I could have moved on from the fact that the pizza was horrible if we had at least half decent service. Would not recommend.

Cool spot to pop into as it was dumping and we were hungry! We sat at the bar and had great service, cocktails, and a Margherita pizza! The crust was super flavorful and light!

We came to eat tonight and it was 45° outside. We were sat right next to the door that was left open. I closed it once, then 1 minute later the staff looked right at me and opened the door and place the door stop to keep the door open. I closed it again, and they didn't same thing. I'm pretty upset they did not take into consideration my family and I were cold. The kids running the floor need to understand that customers should be comfortable.

Food was average. So were the cocktails. The flavors didn't add up. The ingredients in each dish weren't pairing well with each other. It was like they hadn't been taste tested before putting on the menu. Composition was also off, for example the ratio of cheese to a pizza pie was not balanced. This restaurant is located inside a hotel. Serving staff is kind, helpful and courteous.

The food was okay. We got the sausage pizza and it wasn't my favorite. I couldn't even finish my piece. I also got the meatball pasta, could use stronger seasoning or maybe a side salt and pepper shaker for the table. The food wasn't the best but the drinks were great ! The spicy margarita was amazing. The service wasn't bad. Our waitress did her best considering it was very busy. I liked the outdoor seating very much. Overall okay experience.

This was perfect for our large party. Pizzas are big enough to share for 2. But try an appetizer! Gluten free pizza options are available as well!
