DJ Steve Aoki’s Pizzeria Headed to Proper Eats, Las Vegas’s Newest Food Hall | Eater Vegas

"Founded by DJ Steve Aoki in 2018 as a delivery-only concept, this fast-growing pizza brand is known for thin-crust pies named after the artist's albums and songs; a notable example is the Neon Future, a white pizza topped with mozzarella, ricotta, garlic, and parsley. After expanding beyond delivery, the brand is opening an in-person outlet as part of the new upscale food hall at the Aria Resort & Casino." - Clair Lorell

New Mural Depicts Raptor’s Kawhi Leonard as LA Laker in California | Eater LA

"On the Venice Boardwalk a large mural by LA artist Gustavo Zermeño Jr. depicts Kawhi Leonard wearing a Lakers jersey and hoisting the NBA championship trophy with the phrase “Kawhi not” emblazoned above; the vibrant yellow-and-purple artwork drew broad attention (including an Instagram like from LeBron James) and even prompted Steve Aoki to offer free pizzas for life if Leonard signs with the city, though the tribute is clearly wishful and premature while the player’s free agency is unresolved." - Mona Holmes

Despite this pizza location being located in a food court, you have to remember you’re still on the Strip and you’re in a high-end resort. The prices might seem a little higher than maybe you’re used to, but I promise you that this pizza is worth every penny. It is delicious and made with fresh ingredients and the staff is so kind and informative. And the term ‘slice’ is an understatement because the slice I received was so large, like a quarter of a medium sized pizza. It was wood-fired, crisp but an airy softness to the crust as well. I’m from New England and I was incredibly impressed by the pizza here - the white pizza being my go to.

Timothy T.

Google
I just ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza here and it was really greasy but still good. I believe it was $8.50 for a slice but i believe taste wise they would give Sbarro a run for their money. Yes the price is high just like everything else in the casino but if you don't want to leave the hotel this is a good place for decent pizza. The taste and quality is just like other Pizzaoki places i have ordered from and this is one of the better foods i have ordered in the food court so far. Egghead actually being pretty good as well. But I would recommend this place if you got a real hankering for pizza.

Google
First time ordering a slice here. And I went for the pepperoni and sausage slice. For me it was pretty middle of the road. The curat was pretty good, as it's a thin slice but slightly crispy with a decent crust. The toppings and cheese were fine, but nothing exceptional. The slice coated about $8 which is typical for Vegas, but with places like Moneyline, Pizza Rock, and even Miami Slice offering better slices for similar price, it's hard for me to rank this higher than I did. There are many great food options at Proper Eats and this place is just fine.

Google
I’ve tried this place three times. The first two visits were fine, but this last one was a disaster. I ordered a pepperoni slice and it was easily the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was completely burnt, and the pepperoni and cheese were dried out. I ate less than half before throwing the rest away. The pickup window was total chaos, with a lot of people waiting on orders after getting the pickup texts. They were clearly understaffed, and pizzas were burning unattended in the oven.

Slavik M.

Google
Had a meat lovers...it was ok, definitely not worth $10 a slice. Then I had the White slice. It was literally the worst pizza I ever had in my life. Crust and cheese were as hard as a rock. Not cheesy at all, It was like the cheese was baked into the crust and was overall hard to bite. I've had better microwavable pizza.

Anna B.

Google
Got a simple pepperoni. Very salty pizza because it's probably just cheese and bread and pepperoni. I taste almost no tomato sauce in it so the flavor is so unbalanced and the pizza is also greasy. It would've been fine if the cheese is the good kind. It's just salty 😬 I'm not sure how you can mess up a very basic pizza. The fries also have a weird aftertaste so I'm really disappointed. This is probably the worst pizza I've ever had. The food hall and service is very nice though so it's not a 1. After this, I went to costco just to get my pizza cravings fixed 🤷‍♀️

Q: If pizza could talk, what would it say? A: Probably lots of cheesy things. From the brainchild of Grammy-nominated artist/DJ/producer Steve Aoki, Pizzaoki is a diverse and delicious takes on New York style pizzas. As I said on my Instagram post, this pizza has more grease on it than in Steve Aoki's hair. No diss intended but you gotta admit, that guy has some greasy locks. It's decent 'za, New York style, with a thin crust and about a galon worth of grease on top. Take your napkin, do the dab-dab-dab thing, and buon appetito! I've tried the MIC DROP ($6 - Mozzarella, parmesan, pepperoni, marinara sauce) and the HIROQUEST ($7 - mozzarella, parmesan, pepperoni, sausage, capicola, tomato sauce) so far and both are decent. It won't be the best pizza on the strip or even inside Aria but it'll fill you up. The logo design is A+++.

Google
I would not recommend this place. Not only the pizza was not anything to write home about, the service was terrible. The guy behind the counter got our food ready, we got a text to pick up at the counter…..the guy didn’t show up for 15 minutes to hand us the food that was sitting behind the counter. 🙄 Why would he get the food ready for pick and vanish for 15 minutes??! We finally asked another person from the adjacent business to hand us the food. I’m sorry…but this place’s management team needs to do better to check and train their employees better.

Yelp
Love the pizzas at Pizzaoki! Prices have gone a little bit up the last 2 years but that's expected. Slices are a good size and tasty crisp and crust! Fresh and yummy. Easy ordering at their touch screen or via QR code online when at Aria's Food Hall- Proper Eats. Slices I've had: Slice Hiroquest Slice Mix Drop

Yelp
Pizza was a 5 star in 2024 But it was pretty mediocre this year Something off about the cheese The pepperoni just ate salty The crust is good though
google avatar

Yelp
Convenient order from your phone or from your room using the ipad provided. Pizza was delicious. Prob not worth the $10 per slice but of course while in Vegas this is what to expect. Slices were big, and hot. The pizza was prepared just the way I like it: thin, lots of sauce, pepperoni well rendered, and I don't like too much cheese. Located on the 2nd floor of Aria.
google avatar

Yelp
Got a full pie and took it up to our room. Excellent pizza and not a bad price point either. Wouldn't mind having it again.

Yelp
We were heading to the buffet later in the night, but I needed a quick bite after the pool and decided to grab a slice. I went with the white slice, it was pretty solid and was huge from a size perspective. A single slice was more than enough to hold me over but I could see it being cut into two smaller slices and shareable. The crust was crispy and the flavors were good. The only thing I didn't like was the ricotta cheese on top. After the slice is reheated, the cheese takes on a weird texture. It would be good if they topped the slice after it comes out of the oven. Ordering is easy once you figure it out. They have a QR code you can order from but if you are charging to your room, you have to order from one of the proper eats kiosks. For some reason, this takes forever. My trick is to go toward the entrance to the bar on the other side, there's a singular ordering kiosk that people don't really use as much as the ones closer to the food hall.
google avatar

Jasmine D.

Yelp
Pizzaoki offers whole 18" pizzas or pizza by the slice. Flavor/topping options include: cheese, meat lover, pepperoni, white, and veggie. The crust is very thin (but not cracker-like or crispy, thank goodness!), and the slices are huge & more than enough for one person. The white pizza was ok, just a bit garlicky to my liking.

Yelp
Day 3 of eating Thanksgiving leftovers. Oh how I wish I had some pizza. While this place inside Proper Eats Food Hall isn't anything special, it gets the job done. Every time we have popped into Proper Eats, we usually order a slice to share. We have tried three different slices and I think the $6 Mic Drop, a pepperoni slice, is my favorite so far. We've also tried Hiroquest and Boneless, which were decent spices on their own accord. Steve Aoki, the Grammy nominated artist/DJ/producer, has many titles. Add "pizza maker" to the Wikipedia list. Even if it's not the best pizza, we'll keep coming back.

Yelp
Tried the Pizzaoki! In Aria hotel second floor It's what you need for night time meal. Oily thin crusted pizza Order on kiosk or phone Minimal interaction with service attendants and eat in the food court - Proper Eats Chill ambiance with different food stalls around

As I said on my Instagram post, this pizza has more grease on it than in Steve Aoki's hair. No diss intended but you gotta admit, that guy has some greasy locks. Okay, I gotta update my review. I can't keep popping up over here, ordering their pizza, and continuously ragging on this place. I'll compromise with my OCA-twin over in LA East/West and give this place an extra star. It's decent 'za, New York style, with a thin crust and about a galon worth of grease on top. Take your napkin, do the dab-dab-dab thing, and buon appetito! Yelp
Located in the Proper Food Hall in the Aria's hotel on the Promenade level. Aka a food court. You MUST use the kiosks to order any food here. The only downside, there's only a few kiosks for the whole area. The food itself was okay. Ended up upgrading to the combo which included a drink and fries which was i believe an extra $14 but the fries were so salty. I couldn't find an option on the kiosk to not add salt. The pizza was okay. I think it was about $9 for the slice and I got the boneless which is the white sauce pizza. I asked if they had any ranch but they unfortunately didn't. The staff is friendly and chill.

Yelp
Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. This pizza was very good. The crust is crispy, not soft. Cheese was a little chewy. 1 star deduction was for the amount of oil on the pizza. The picture of the napkins shows how much oil was soaked up.

Ashley L.

Yelp
Solid, reliable, fail safe. Nothing overly grand, but certainly got the job done. Crispy and cheesy.

Yelp
I've been a Steve Aoki fan since 2012, and was so excited when I found out he owned a pizza place too. The original was in the heart of LA, and I didn't want to drive from OC to LA just for pizza lol. So! I was suuper excited when I found out they also have one in Aria's food hall - Proper Eats. At first, I wasn't expecting anything good to come out of it lol. I mean, it's a pizza place owned by an EDM DJ. But, man - was I wrong. The pizza tasted SO good, I had to order another slice. I got the Boneless (ricotta, oregano and bianca sauce) Slice and a Mic Drop (mozarella, parmasen, pepperoni and marinara sauce) Slice. Both slices were bursting with flavor, and not at all what I'd imagine it to taste like. BF is a huge pizza junkie too and even he approved! Now, when in Vegas - if our schedule permits, Pizzaoki will forever be on our Vegas itinerary. The food hall has plenty of other options to choose from too if you're not in the mood for pizza. But, if I'm at Proper Eats, you bet I'm getting at least 2 slices of pizza from Pizzaoki.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
The pizza was really bad...it was so dry and there was almost no tomato sauce on it. For $10 a slice I expected a little mor..go downstairs to the other pizza place in Aria..much better. I wouldn't order this ever again.
google avatar

Yelp
This spot is Inside the proper eats food court in the Aria. There is really no service here as everything is online or tablet ordered. This spot is Steve Aoki's pizza spot so it has some popularity because of him but it actually delivered on flavor and that's what matters most. They offer 5 different NY style pizzas and the two I have had were soild. The boneless is a white sauce with ricotta and the mic drop is the pepperoni pizza. They both had solid thin crust, good sauce and great flavor. Great fresh ingredients made these pies top notch. The whole pie or a slice is steep but it is a tasty pie. Next time I'm at the Aria I would definitely try another piece of this pie.
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas I've had in a while. Ok maybe I'm a little biased from being a BTS army but regardless... I didn't have a drop of alcohol in me and still thought the pizza was amazing. Yum!
google avatar

Minerva D.

Yelp
Pricey but good. I love white pizzas and this was a good one. Fries were skinny like I like them. If I won some money; I would have gotten a whole pie!
google avatar

Yelp
Pizza review. Review of 06/12/25. Location is proper eats food hall @Aria. Everything up here is cashless. We ordered pepperoni pizza 2 slices plus tax & tip (note there's no service here)....but tips are expected before you get your slice slightly tacky. Seating was good and clean. Pizza was not coal or wood fired but had a little crunch to the crust. On the right track with the crust but maybe a bit more if you're shooting for NY style. It was a little salty/ greasy.... It did have good balance of pepperoni and cheese. $9.50 per slice... Overpriced then tax /tip on top before you get it.

Yelp
Talk about nice surprise in the Aria Hotel. I never heard of Pizzaoki or fact Aria jump all in trendy food hall concept with restaurants. Friends regular season ticket holders for Knights. We decided to do some pre game eats at Pizzaoki. I think perfect analogy or keep thinking of was Secret Pizza. The food hall location kind of off the path on second floor not casino level. It been so long since walked around hotel pleasant surprise like this is all new to me. They have full pie of just about everything on the menu. U can get them by the slice or sure if want order whole one. They reheat slice put back in the oven before serve. I ended up trying the meat lovers version and chicken/tomato slice. Both really good. Pizza always comes down to the dough and the sauce. Nailed both of them. The size is huge. Two slices be personnel size pizza. They also have combo slice with truffle fries and drink. We did that plus one more slice try. Truffle were solid. One thing to know is first time all restaurants use kiosk system order and wait number called order done. Prices are strip ones so close $9 slice. If positive huge piece that filling and delicious. If Aria Hotel worth checking it with diversity.

MY V.

Yelp
Located inside aria hotel, I stopped by for a late lunch and I was thoroughly impressed! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with just the right amount of crunch. The sauce and cheese were balanced and flavorful, and the pepperoni toppings were delicious. For a thin slice, it was surprisingly filling, and I loved every bite. Quick service.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
LOL My girl Joyce W said this pizza has as much grease as Steve Aoki's hair! I'm DEAD! *insert 3 skull emojis* Now she ain't lying, but I gotta say, I didn't mind it. I did tip the pizza and let the grease roll off, then dabbed it to get some more off. But after that whole process was done, I really enjoyed the pizza, lol! Pizzaoki is the fast casual spot from DJ Aoki within the Proper Eats Food Hall of Aria Hotel & Casino. I love the Proper Eats set up, you can order from a variety of spots and there is a ton of seating to eat & chill. We ordered near closing and staff was very nice, no issues in placing an order on the iPad-ish device and then it was ready within 10 minutes. It's New York style pizza with a really thin crust. As such, best to fold over the pizza when eating for less spillage. Even the dough had great flavor though! I fell in love with the Boneless. The name creeps me out but the mix of ricotta, oregan and bianca sauce had me raving out happily. A slice was under $10 and filled me up. We also had the Mic Drop - more of a classic pepperoni and enjoyed that, too. But the Boneless was where it's at for me. The shop is open until 11pm and it makes a fabulous late night snack. Yes, please!
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly some of the BEST pizza I've ever had!!! Fresh and hot straight from the oven it felt like. Love the little food court it's located in.
google avatar

Clarisa P.

Yelp
My friends and I needed a quick bite to hold us over in between our plans and dinner reservations so we made our way over to Proper Eats Food Hall at the Aria. We love this food court because it's away from the hustle and bustle of the casino floor and it was quite pleasant on a Sunday evening. It feels classy and high end here with the dim lighting, cleanliness, decor and overall layout. We were able to find a booth immediately. You order online by QR Code and we went up to each respective restaurant we ordered from once we received a text, which was super convenient so to not lose our seats. They have plenty of options here from casual pizza, healthy hummus bowls, and classy sushi. Having lived on the east coast for over 25 years, visiting NYC often, I think I have a pretty good measure of pizza. I was not disappointed with this one. The presentation was nice, flavors were really good, the portion was huge and the crust had a good bite to it. I scarfed this thing down. I think it was worth the $8 I don't usually crave pizza, but recounting my experience at Pizzaioki is tempting.
google avatar

Greg F.

Yelp
Ehh it was ok compared to rest of the options in aria or on the strip. At $9 bucks a slice, like the rest of vegas, this probably wasn't the best value
google avatar

Vanessa R.

Yelp
Tastes just like Pizza My Heart, nothing too crazy. You're really just paying for the name, but it's a solid simple quick easy slice of pizza
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Very nice food hall at Aria. On the 2nd floor. Spacious and airy. You order from your phone (scan QR code) or from kiosks throughout the food hall. Seating weaves throughout. No real interaction with the individual food purveyors. We ordered from our phone and got text messages confirming order, approximate wait time and when the food was ready. We ordered from three different places. The pizza was $8.50, very good size, thin, very cheesy. No complaints.
google avatar

Chef Will G.

Yelp
Located inside Proper Eats Food Hall. Order pizza at kiosk efficient. Meat Pizza Delicious, spicy and nice crust. Hella good.
google avatar

Yadira R.

Yelp
This location is conveniently located in the Aria hotel proper eats food hall. You can only order from the food hall kiosk or online from the QR code. I wanted something quick for lunch so I opted to check them out. I had their slice of pepperoni pizza which was good but felt like it was expensive without sides or drinks $13. Overall if you want something quick for lunch or dinner without leaving the hotel this was a good option but know it won't be the cheapest.
google avatar

Todd M.

Yelp
I love pizza. As most people who follow me on Yelp or Instagram would know. When I had the opportunity to try pizzaoki I couldn't pass it up. The slices are huge, and should be for the price paid for one. The taste though is great. They are spot on New York style Neapolitan slices. I went with the white slice. Love the flavor of garlic in it. Thanks Steve.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
For a NY Slice at the end of the day, this was a good option. Located in the food court at Aria, order at the kiosk and you'll get a text when you order is ready. Pizza had great flavor and the pepperoni has a little bit of a kick. 1 slice was plenty if you aren't starving and they serve it to you hot from the oven, so be careful.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Located inside of Aria at Proper Eats Food Hall, you'll find DJ Steve Aoki's Pizzaoki. To place an order, you can use one of the few kiosks available, the MGM app or scan the QR code and order directly from your phone. Once you place your order and pay, you will be notified when your order is ready for pick up. There is plenty of seating available (booths, tables, countertop seating) throughout the foodhall. I opted for a slice of the White Pizza - AKA "Boneless" which is Ricotta, oregano, and bianca sauce. For $8.50 a slice I expected something better. The pizza was extremely oily but dry at the same time. The flavor was great but left me with garlic breath for hours! Hahaha Another thing was how fast my pizza got cold and super chewy in minutes...like how?! Why?! All in all it was...ok. I don't think I'd come back to Pizzaoki, but I plan on coming back to Proper Eats to try other food stalls next time I'm in town!

Jamie N.

Yelp
Well, if you like grease, this is your spot. And that no one was at the counter for 10 minutes when we arrived so the pizza was cold.
google avatar

TRACY R.

Yelp
Located in Aria's Proper Eats Food Hall. Pizza by the slice for a hungry kid - Sounds good to me. The wait time for Mon Ami Gabi was over an hour so we ended up at the food hall. You order on our phone, you get a text that your food is done, Pick it up, and then eat. Super fast and super ways. It was New York style pizza. It was ok. You have to eat it while its hot. It's gross when it gets cold. lesson learned: make reservations so I'm not eating in a food hall.

Barb K.

Yelp
Ok I thought it would be just regular not so yummy pizza but I was wrong it was pretty good especially the white pizza would order if I'm staying at aria again
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Is this a great pizza? No. Is this even a good pizza? Debatable. But I prescribe to the belief that the best slice of pizza is the one closest to you, and a world of increasing parity is a good thing as competitors increase prices and decline in quality. Now when it comes to grabbing a slice of late night pizza in Vegas, it never comes from a good place. While this place isn't open as late as some others, if you're staying at Aria and it's before 11pm, it's the closest option you got at the price. And that's where this pizza wins. It's still cheaper than the others on the Strip by a dollar, and if you're purely looking for calories to satiate your hunger, this is the place. Why wait in line at Secret Pizza after making the trek to Cosmo and wallow in your own self-loathing as you reminisce the good old days when it used to be better and cheaper when you can get something that's only marginally worse for cheaper right down the elevator? The quality is a hit or miss. The more expensive slice with more toppings was perfectly done while the white was rather crusty and had the teeth breaking crust. I'd imagine QA isn't consistent. But you know what, I'll be back if I'm at the Aria, because of convenience. TIP: Order from your phone or take five paces over to an empty kiosk to order rather than waiting in a line with all the boomers who don't realize other kiosks exist.

Yelp
Came here because I thought it was funny that Steve Aoki had a pizza joint but left. So surprised that the pizza was actually quite good and a decent price compared to all the other options in this food hall. We got the boneless which is the white pizza slice and it had a really unique sauce on top of the pizza and was great. Would definitely come back again if I was in the aria and hungry.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Came to try based on influencer review but honestly not impressed. Meatballs were good but pricey for 3?! The salad for $15 was laughable. Small and very basic. Not food hall pricing or serving sizes, would not go again.

Charles H.

Yelp
Not bad, but not good pizza. Just ok pizza if you don't want to make the walk to cosmo for secret pizza.
google avatar

TJ T.

Yelp
Cool pizza spot inside Aria Hotel and Casino. It's in their new food hall where the buffet used to be, lots of cool restaurants in there, tried Pizzaoki and was not disappointed. Tasted great and the dough was firm on the bottom with a ll crunch but soft topping. Crust was crunchy outside and soft inside. Definitely would eat here again. Prices were reasonable as well and the slice is good size.
google avatar

Les L.

Yelp
Pizzaoki is Steve Aoki's pizza spot in the Aria Proper Eats Food Hall. This is a total winner. You can get pizza by the slice or whole and pizza is always family pleasing food. We got two slices of pepperoni pizza and it was great. We enjoyed the size and zesty flavor of the pepperoni. Total props to Pizzaoki for having a Cesar salad. It came in a really big bowl so it was entree sized and enough for two to share. Healthier vegetable side dishes were hard to find at the food hall so this made me very happy.
google avatar

Denise T.

Yelp
I had heard that Aoki had a pizza place in Vegas so we went in search to try this slice of pie. I hadn't been to the food court area before but they have some fantastic options including Pizzaoki. The only thing that would have made this perfect slice of pepperoni pizza better was if Steve himself was there to serve it to me. You order on an app through a QR code and they send you a message once your order is ready for pickup. It was ready really quickly. Delicious, greasy, cheesy pizza. I definitely recommend this place for a good slice. A whole pizza can be a bit pricey but the slices are pretty damn big, so you only need 1 or 2.
google avatar

Kallie W.

Yelp
This is the BEST pizza. Chef Steph is amazing. I'm from Denver and I love pizza. I've tried pretty much every place - low to high end and this tops all of them. I went back three times for another slice. Soooo delish.

Steven G.

Yelp
Pizza was the saltiest pizza my wife and I ever had. We would not go back. Also, the price is very high per slice. Steven G.

Renee S.

Yelp
We were at proper eats in the area hotel. My husband and son are pizza fanatics, it's probably literally one of the few foods that my son will actually eat and we had this pizza. It was a solid pizza not particularly mine blowing, but the sauce was tasty. My husband thought the crust was nice and crunchy similar to a New York style pizza. Again, it's not travel worthy per se, but if you're staying in the area or everyone wants something different it's definitely a solid slice at the food hall. Dishes that we ordered in the food hall, understandably, the pizza was ready first so we all had some. The price point is fair for the Las Vegas strip.

Jason C.

Yelp
Terrible pizza. It's very thin, greasy, and burnt. Trash pizza at a premium price with very little toppings and little variety. Disgusting. I make much better at home. Heck my kids can make better.

VERY greasy pepperoni pizza. But it hit the spot. Quality was great and price was reasonable. Will likely try again.

Yelp
After I was denied my reservation at Carbone because my husband was still In a tournament and they wouldn't let me eat by myself, I sought the next closest thing: pizza! My pizza and salad was ready in less than 5 minutes and tastes great. I cut my slice in half so that's why it looks small on my plate (and took a bite out of both things :P). I would like to give Steph a shoutout- she was so kind and friendly and she and the gentleman working tonight provided excellent customer service. I was so bummed but Steph's kindness and the food helped me forget about being turned away from the restaurant. Thank you Steph!
