"The Boulder location of the craft-your-own-pizza chain PizzaRev at 1650 28th St. has a note stating it is 'Closed Until Further Notice! Sorry For Inconvenience!'. The PizzaRev website no longer lists any locations in Colorado. Earlier, the Fort Collins location also closed." - Paul Albani-Burgio

My first experience with PizzaRev I would say was actually a pretty good one. I am always a bit skeptical when it comes to pizza at a decent price because the old saying of you get what you pay for usually rings true. I think that the opposite was true of PizzaRev. I really enjoyed the pizza I got which was priced very well. It was just the right size for a single person to munch on for lunch at work all day. The cheese was rich and salty with a nice sweet sauce which paired perfectly together. With this style of pizza being on the lean side of toppings it was still very upfront with its flavors. I got a Pepperoni, Bacon, Basil and Arugula with Franks Hot Sauce on it, and all of the flavors were there in the right proportions. I would say however that if you are expecting your traditional chain style pizza that is loaded with toppings that you will not find it here. These pizza's are more along the classic line or Neapolitan style of pizza which has very fresh and rich toppings that don't overpower anything else, and for that it is priced very well to compliment. The only negative I could say is that I would like to see a bit more cheese as probably 30% of the pizza I got I could see the crust, which even with this style of pizza shouldn't really happen. I can't say though if that is the standard or just one of the "sometimes" events. Overall however the pizza was very good and I will be ordering again to try some of the other combinations.

This is one of my favorite places to eat here in Boulder. It’s a little pricey for pizza but I think it’s worth it because you get to make your own pizza with fresh ingredients! One of the last times I was in, things were a little behind and the cashier was working a tricky situation, but everyone was apologetic and friendly! This place is clean and fairly quick, and most importantly delicious, I’ll be back for sure.

Love that they had vegan options, daiya cheese and vegan sausage, but it really grossed me out that they don't separate any of the toppings. The employees wear gloves and use their hands to scoop the toppings out to place on the pizza instead of using scoops. Way too much cross contamination with meat toppings for me as a vegan. Also, they have roasted garlic as a topping but apparently it's roasted in butter. They should really indicate that on the sign so vegans don't accidentally order that for their pizza since the employees there are clueless about it. End product was decent but I don't think I'll ever eat there again.

$5 pizza with unlimited toppings. Or it might be $6. Either way it's a great deal!

I go here at least once a week and the service is always with a smile. The ingredients are fresh and they build a perfect layered pizza. My favorite is their white sauce! Plus it all cooks in three minutes, great for a lunch break. Not to mention a reasonable price for a personal size pizza. So glad pizzarev came to Boulder.

I've been to PizzaRev a number of times, with the family, with a work colleague, and with my husband. Every time, I was so impressed by the friendly customer service and the individually-sized, build-your-own pizza. It was great to go with teens, because everyone can get exactly what they want... no fighting over toppings, and I could get a glass of wine. The toppings are fresh and varied, the sauce and crust are great, and nothing beats the wood-fired oven result. Overall, the pizza is quite good, and the friendly staff create an environment that makes me look forward to go back, and inspires me to recommend it to others.

Food is better than decent (toppings 4 out of 5 & crust 2 out of 5) and atmosphere feels like an attempt to start a franchise. While the folks are nice they need some help managing work flow. The $6 pizza Tuesday night is a good deal, but the staff gets overwhelmed easily.
