Pizzawala's Pizza Restaurant

My recent order from here was a major disappointment, especially given the prices. I ordered the Paneer Tikka Pizza and the Veg (Soy) Manchurian Pizza. The Paneer Tikka Pizza was just okay—nothing special, but passable. The Veg (Soy) Manchurian Pizza, however, was frankly inedible and a complete disaster. It was severely burnt on the edges, had a terrible, over-powering taste of soy sauce, and was aggressively spicy. The dark, oily appearance (as shown in the picture) and heavy flavor profile made the whole thing feel incredibly unhealthy and poorly prepared. When I called to complain about the quality of the Manchurian pizza, the service was severely lacking. I received a very poor and unhelpful response. The staff seemed uninterested. Extreme lack of quality control combined with the terrible customer service, means I cannot recommend this place.

Absolutely disappointed. This was my favorite pizza. Specifically the Chicken Tikka pizza. Recently the menu was overhauled and is now a bit of a confusing mess. Yet I was able to see on the new menu that the pizza is now called to “forge” with that pizza pictured with chicken. Ordered it, got it, no chicken. Now that’s an add on and an up charge. I could roll with that but the picture is misleading, and I’m just gonna accept another restaurant I like is a no go for me.

Indian pizza, masala fries, and veggie puffs 🔥 We got the Achari Veg Pizza made vegan: Kadhai sauce with cheese, tomato, potato, onion, green pepper, baby corn, and seasoned with achari masala). Super good! Word to the wise: Do NOT order the Veg (Soy) Manchurian Pizza no matter how good it sounds if you do not have a GODLY amount of spice tolerance. Every bite was delicious agonizing pain that we could only withstand two pieces before having to discard the rest because it was too spicy for us to continue. Highly recommend for a unique spin on pizza tho and the puffs were so flaky and good.

Great pizza. Friendly staff. Easy to place order online. Only take order. No dine-in. We ordered two pizza and both of then were great. We definitely would love to try different flavors again next time.

I used to absolutely relish and enjoy their paneer qorma pizza however with the new menu not only the prizes have increased but the quality and taste has gone down quite a bit. The guy told us that it is their signature paneer qorma pizza but handed something with raw cashews and pesto and reduced sauce. I don't understand why would you do that to a perfectly great pizza place. Not my go to place anymore! Time to find another one :)

This place USED to be amazing and was honestly one of my weekly go-to spots. Unfortunately, ever since the management and the food itself changed, everything has gone downhill. The food is not even the same, the service is pretty meh, and the prices are bonkers. They’ve raised their prices significantly and now charge extra for basic toppings like jalapeños or green peppers ($3+ per topping so if you get 2 toppings, that's $6+), which is ridiculous considering the quality you get. After not going for months, I was visiting and decided to go again. Huge mistake. Not only was the pizza overpriced, but I found an actual cockroach baked into it. I wish I was exaggerating, but I’m not. It was a literal cockroach, and my younger brother was like WTH is that. I could see the legs, eyes and everything else. That was more than enough to make sure I never come back. It’s honestly sad because this place used to be great, but I would strongly recommend avoiding it now. Definitely not worth the money or the risk. And it's also unhealthy, so I guess a blessing in disguise since I'm trying to eat healthy now in 2026.

We used to love this place but not anymore. With the menu change the prices are ridiculously high. Before it was clear what your would pay for a speciality pizza but not anymore. You need to create your own speciality pizza by adding each topping and those toppings are not cheap. For example tomato, spinach etc. cost about $3 each for a large pizza. I can get the same speciality pizzas with everything included at another place for much less than it would cost me here.

Ordered pizza, wings, and potato wedges from Pizzawala's today. The chicken tikka pizza was out of this world, the perfect blend of Indian and Italian cuisines. The tandoori wings and masala wedges were perfectly coated in spices with just the right amount of heat. We also ordered boneless barbecue wings and pepperoni pizza and they were both great as well. Not much to the restaurant- it's takeout only- but we had good service to go along with the good food. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely keep Pizzawala's in mind.

Been on my to try list for 5 years, totally blown away Butter Chicken Pizza OMG. Place opened first location corner of Ford road and Canton Center 12 year's ago. They now have locations in 4 states and India to, they could open hundreds of these. Starting as Curry On Crust in 2012 with a single store in Canton, Pizzawala's has come a long way and performed well among the native American audience. But who knew that a kitchen experiment would turn out to be a brand that people would associate fusion pizzas with. So many great Indian toppings to choose from, Butter Chicken totally Wowed . Pizzawala's knocked it out of the park. I absolutely love fusion cuisine and Indian curry inspired pizzas is a perfect fusion. I drove over an hour to get this pizza and I'll do it again in a heartbeat. It was that good. I got the chili chicken pizza and loved every bite. Nice spice, chicken was moist and tender. My wife loved her chicken saag pizza. The breadsticks were also fantastic. They also make pizza with traditional ingredients so there are options for picky eaters too. One thing to be aware of, there are photos on Yelp that show a couple of tables available for in person dining. Those have been removed and in person is not available any more, we had to eat in the car. Small price to pay for pizza this good.

When I called to order takeout, they told me 20 minutes. I was there in 10. The pizza was overcooked, dry and warm and the chicken was tasty but not hot.

My to go pizza store when in rush. I just love the pizzas from pizzawala. Achari paneer has been my best and favourite pizza for a while now. Veg puffs are also a must try. They often have deals when ordered online don't forget to miss those. Most of the times i prefer to order on call so its ready by the time we reach. I am not sure if they have dine in area. Their kitchens are live and we can see the preparation. It's a small outlet with clean and best offerings. I love their achari paneer pizza over anything else.

Great Indian flavors on a Pizza. If you want something different give Pizzawalas a try. Do recommend getting their Vegetable Puffs. Nice (little spice) filling in a buttery Puff Pastry. So good. We have tried all vegetarian combinations never had a bad experience.

Pizzawala feels like a true blend of Indian-American fusion and truly finds the perfect balance between both flavors. If you're looking for a uniquely flavored pizza that is more than just a one time "oh that was unique" look no further! This is THE SPOT to go for a pizza vibe that is truly elevated!

Don't have much to say about ambiance because it is a to-go spot. The cashiers are always very nice and patient. The pizzas are always excellent and flavorful. My favorites are the chicken tikka and the garlic chicken pizza. We always order ahead of time when we know we are going to drive through Canton.

First time having tikka masala pizza. It tastes exactly how it sounds. Delicious. I ordered half tikka and half butter chicken. It was the perfect combination. I wish there was more locations as this is quite far from me. Service was quick and prompt, about 20 min for a large pie.

The garlic paneer pizza is the absolute best. Everything I've tried here is awesome. The food is excellent. I've only ever done takeout, so I can't comment on the service or the ambiance. But the food is really really good.

A must have: my husband is a pizza snob and he LOVED this. I swear that both sides taste exactly like their Indian counterparts. If I had to pick one side, I would pick the aaloo gobi- it was spiced perfectly. What a great idea!

I ordered the pav bhaji/paneer tikka pizza and the achari paneer/veg manchurian pizza with extra sauce. Both pizzas were outstanding and full of flavors! Also the young gentlemen who takes the orders is incredibly polite and an excellent communicator.

The business name changed but they assure me that the recipe remains the same. But.. why did it taste different? I've been craving curry on crust for a while. And when I looked online to order, I was very surprised by the name and logo change. The menus items remain the same and other patrons told me they still love their food. So, I silenced all the red flags in my head and tried it. I ordered three pizzas: chicken tikka and the mango paneer, all favorites. I even got a cheese pizza for my son which was great because I'm weekdays, a small and a large cheese pizza is the same price! But.. after I took everything to my family.... I was very disappointed. I remember the crust and pizza being a bit crispy so that there was a satisfying crunch with every bite... But this pizza reminded me of costco's everything pizza. Let me explain. You know when the pizza doughs been thinned out but there's a ton of ingredients on top to make the center of the pizza kind of soggy? Yeah that was my experience. Don't get me wrong it wasn't soggy to the point where it stuck to the cardboard... But I could tell there was wayyyy more curry sauce than I was used to. I hope this was just the case where I had someone with a generous hand with the sauce ladle.. and if that's the case for my second time around I'll ask for less sauce but... Man. It didn't hit the spot like it has for the past few years. I'm not going to let one experience ruin my love for this place. I'll try them two more times and keep you guys updated.

The bomb dot com. We had the chili cheese bread and it's basically Nee Hee's in pizza form. We'll be trying more things on the next IKEA trip and reporting back...

They have a very affordable and great tasting gluten free vegan pizza. It is the best I have ever had. Gluten and dairy can bother me so I try to avoid it.

Indian Pizza? Something new, something different for sure. We got the butter chicken pizza with 10 tandoori wings. Definitely worth trying, especially if you are looking for new pizza experience. Would recommend the tandoori wings - goes well with the pizza. Definitely worth the visit, will stop by again next time I'm in the area.

This was my very first Pizzawala order.. I enjoy Indian cuisine and it was an experience, delectable and absolutely delicious ! Packaged well and beautifully made. !!! SOOO YUMMY! The mango habanero wings were crispy, sweet, with a nice heat(not too hot) 5 stars! Tikka Chicken pizza fluffy tasty crust and chicken was perfectly cooked, not dry 5 stars. I really enjoyed the Veggie Puffs were a light flaky triangle with a flavorful filling 4.5 only wish there was a dipping options. I dipped them in the left over mango habanero wing sauce !!! BEST THING EVER! Been in Canton 22 years and I regret that I haven't eating here sooner. This might become a weekly meal situation now!!!

Where I live there are plenty of options for pizza. But between them all, Pizzawalas really stands out as the crown jewel of pies. They have plenty of sauce and topping options for your pizza. You could easily order one of these specialty pizzas or keep it simple. The only times I ever ate from them was when I would visit my in-laws and they would usually order butter chicken or chicken Tikka pizza. This time I decided to try and build my own. I really had no strategy, I simply picked what ingredients sounded great together and just piled it on. Unfortunately some of the ingredients are difficult to understand and there is no description for them. But after Googling them I ended up with this amazing large pizza with curry sauce, fried cauliflower, mango, green onions and more. Absolute flavor bomb, I ate three slices in less than 10 minutes and I could have probably had another one if I didn't want to save it for lunch the following day.

Wow! I am amazed! I am obsessed with butter chicken in general and this pizza was absolutely amazing. I did order it mild and minus the green peppers but it was delish. The staff was super friendly and nice and there is plenty of parking. Next door is a boba shop too! So while you are waiting you can enjoy some boba!!! I will be going back here!

I love this place. The food is unique, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. What more can you ask for? The combinations of flavors and textures create an experience you don't find often. Definitely a gem in Canton.

My friends love it. The place is always busy. It's a nice experience. But not if you're a fan of traditional pizza.

Excellent pizza, and Halal. Amazing flavors. And most importantly since our son has Celiac Disease, they have GF crust and take precautions and prepare separately. He enjoyed it very much.

BF and I were looking for a spot to grab a bite to eat before our movie marathon at the nearby Emagine. We've tried most of the better rated places in the immediate area so we were looking to branch out a bit. He found Curry on Crust on Yelp and I was intrigued by the unique idea. Indian food on pizza?? I'm in! I ordered a small Butter Paneer Pizza and he had a small Chicken Tikka Pizza. Both were really good, but we both agreed that the Butter Paneer was the better one. I LOVE butter sauce and paneer. I also LOVE pizza. I wish I had something like this in NYC! You will pay more for Curry on Crust than a normal pizza elsewhere, but it was really good and a very unique combo.

Very interesting place! I'd never had Indian pizza before. My sister and I shared 2 small pizzas. One was the eggplant pizza and the other the paneer tikka pizza. The masala eggplant pizzas was slightly spicy but not overly so. I'm not sure if the splicing was cumin or curry, maybe it was fenugreek. But it was very good. Both my sister and I agreed though that the better pizza was the paneer tikka. I will say I'm struggling to describe accurately the taste, but I know I enjoyed it. We came for lunch and there were not many people there. We were playing Indian music and it was a pleasant place to have a lunch.

I was recommended this place a few months back by a friend and finally made it. It was a half hour drive and honestly I probably would've drove an hour to eat there. I'm pretty sure this will be the only pizza I can eat from here on out because everything else is too flavorless. It's been an hour since finishing the pizza and my taste buds are still dancing!! My friend ordered the 26 and I ordered the 27, but really we both had each.

Why is Indian pizza not everywhere?!?! Nowadays anywhere I travel I do a quick Google maps search for Indian pizza. San Jose California and Bay Area? Many locations. Beaverton, OR also. Even one in Vancouver, WA just over the border. We have our favorites, and Pizzawala joins the top of the list. What great taste! Reasonable prices and some good specials. In this case got two, vegetarian both, to try and to share with local friends. And two days of meals. Two beautiful pizzas! Smelled great! Tasted great! I will be back any time I am in the area. Pizzawala rocks! Don't miss it!

Pizza + Indian? F*** yes!!! I can't even describe how delicious Curry on Crust is. It is worth the hype! My boyfriend and I had dinner here and I am DYING to go back! The flavors and ingredients just work so well together. The chicken tikka pizza was truly divine! The perfect amount of spiciness, flavor and cheese! The crust was also wonderful! The service was also really friendly which makes me like them that much more! Curry on Crust is a must!

Tasty fusion of pizza with Indian flavors! Chicken Tikka Pizza (small): 4/5 The spices on the chicken provided a punch of flavor while the crust was deliciously buttery. I appreciated how the sauce had a strong curry flavor, but I could have used a little less of it since it was somewhat overpowering. Also would have liked the onions and green peppers on top to have been cooked a little more.

The concept of combining Indian food with pizza totally works well here! Instead of marina or white sauce, curry +/- paneer is used to create super flavorful pizzas. Interestingly, the traditional garnishes on pizza like green/red peppers, pineapple (haha), olives, mushrooms, & onions are also found in curries too, so the various pizzas here will also thoughtfully use these traditional pizza toppings too. Although the primary protein choices here are only chicken or tofu (no sausage, pepperoni, steak), I would highly recommend trying this take-out pizza shop and especially going for the vegetarian pizzas given the various curries they showcase. This shop made me re-think pizza!!!

We are regular vegan customers! They have a large variety of options for vegans. And the amazing part is that their food consistently taste amazing! Lucky that they are close by and all our visitors from out here of state are amazed by how tasty these "Indian" pizzas taste!

Delicious pizza! And cheese bread! I got the mango paneer pizza which had the makhni sauce! It tasted amazing ! A big fan of fusion cuisine definitely & definitely recommend this place for it!

I love Jet's and Palermo, but needed a change of pace and ended up finding one of my favorite restaurants in Canton. The thought of Indian spices on a pizza sounds a bit strange, but this place makes it work. I love their butter chicken pizza, their veggie aloo gobi is a hit with everyone who tries it, and I have managed to figure out how to create the perfect build-a-pizza (extra tikka sauce, red peppers, tikka chicken, mushrooms, onions). As far as side dishes, I thought the veggie puffs were a bit on the dry side, so I wouldn't order those again. The cheese breadsticks are a fantastic addition to a pizza if you really want starch overload. The staff is very pleasant and the pizzas come out pretty quickly. I would highly recommend everyone who likes Indian food and pizza try this place asap.

Used to be Curry On Crust. Basically, it's the same thing that I remember, but with a new name. My son said to me, "Dad, I think I'm in the mood for Indian food, pizza, or subs of some kind." He'd never had Curry in Crust or Pizzawala and so I suggested we give it a shot. He was jnteigued and loves the menu, so we in and ordered Chicken Tikka Small pizza and Malaie (sp?) Chicken small pizza. We both liked the Tikka best - It was REALLY good. The other one was nothing to scoff at, either, just took back seat to the tikka. BTW: My son has tree nut allergies. They have a sign right next to the register that requests the customer to please advise of nut allergies and they will handle the pizzas with care. The clerk made a point of telling the pizza maker right then and there that they had to be careful. So tasty and I am super glad I re-discovered pizzawala after all these years.

It's curry. On crust. Literally as amazing as it sounds. The pizza crust is nice and hearty without being overwhelming. The curry is amazing and fresh. The flavors together compliment each other so incredibly well! I was a little surprised that there's actually cheese on the pizzas, but somehow they don't come out too rich. I dream of this place everyday.

I'm obsessed with this place. It's some of the best pizza around these parts and easily competes with the more traditional pizza places. Chili Chicken pizza with mango added is my favorite and hits all the right spots.

We were looking for something different to eat and finally felt adventurous enough to give this place a try. Since we weren't familiar with what they offered, the three of us each grabbed a menu at the counter and sat at a table to read the selections. After deciding, we placed our order at the counter and they brought it out to our table. We decided to go with a large pizza. Half was Paneer Tikka and the other half was Aaloo Gobi. The Aaloo Gobi was a bit spicy, but tolerable. We all liked both and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the "India meets Italy" pizza tasted. It's a small restaurant and the small number of tables they have were full by the time we finished. They do a lot of carry out service and the line to order had a steady stream of people coming and going. Their phone was constantly ringing with many people placing carry out orders. So, it's obvious they have a great business and they know how to pump out the pizzas. It's a no frills place with no waiter or waitress to wait on you at your table and the person working the order counter is there for that reason--- to take your order and submit it to the kitchen. After you place your order, you get your own plastic utensils at the front counter and have a seat as your pizza is being made. They have a refrigerated beverage area that has bottled water and a variety of single serve and family size pop to choose from as well. The pizza is delivered to your table piping hot and in a timely manner. No muss, no fuss, just well orchestrated service and delicious pizza. While eating, we talked about whether it was a place to come back to and the conclusion was 'yes' because there are many other choices that looked worthy of trying.

Well the kids were hungry n wanting pizza as usual. We opted to go to mediterranean restaurant, till we glanced at this pizza parlor. The title sure caught our eye n curiosity. Curry on crust desi pizza. I was determined to try them out and kinda weaseled my way into having the kids try it out too. We made the right choice. There were many choices available to order and we went with chicken Tikka pizza and a chicken Manchurian pizza along with breadsticks and garlic bread. The pizza were cooked fresh with plenty of toppings bursting with flavor. There was enough chicken on both pizzas along with bell peppers, onions etc. Garlic bread was cooked to perfection, and it had plenty of flavor. Even the breadsticks were warm fluffy tasteful and served with pasta sauce. We did carry out our food. The ladies at the front counter were not friendly at all nor did they greet me or thank me when I left. I guess that's an area they can improve on.

So... being a pretty obnoxious Warriors fan, I couldn't help but brag about the caption-worthy coincidence that I dined at Curry on Crust the night that Golden State swept the NBA championships in 2018. Puns aside, I am a huge fan of Curry on Crust--you can't really go wrong with Indian food and pizza, but their composition and quality are on point, and prices are great especially with the generous portion sizes (we got an app and 2 10-inch pizzas, and it fed two hungry people with enough leftovers for a satisfying lunch for me the following day) The menu has just about every Indian dish staple spun into pizza form, along with a selection of enticing fusion appetizers similar to what you may find on a food truck menu. We started off with MASALA POTATOES ($7), which combined masala spices with carby goodness of pan-fried wedge potatoes (slightly crispy exterior, almost like brunch potatoes). I really liked the TIKKA PIZZA ($10) with chunks of roasty chicken tikka on top of an infusion of pizza cheese, tikka sauce, and garlic. The flavors were bold and nicely interwoven into pizza form. The VEGGIE KORMA PIZZA ($10) was a lighter and equally delicious, featuring a more subtle and aromatic makhni curry sauce. The roasted cashew nuts and pineapple added a unique touch. Overall, the pizza itself was pretty perfect as well, not greasy despite the extra sauce and with a fresh hearty crust baked golden-brown just like in quintessential pizza commercials. I wonder if they have contemplated using naan as crusts, though then again that would be more like flatbread. Other tips: - Split pizzas (i.e. picking two different pizzas as a half and half) are allowed for the 14-inch large ones but not small - Pizza takes about 15 minutes - It's fast casual and well kept - Located in a strip mall with other enticing Indian eats nearby (Neehee, Urban Tawa) - Come with an appetite, though leftovers reheated in the toaster oven are just as good. Curry on Crust, Talk about the best of all worlds.

This place has a good idea, doing pizza with ingredients and sauces used in indian dishes. Love the idea. Unfortunately i wasn't really wowed with the outcome. Had half of a baby corn pizza (meh)and half manchurian something or other(it was just ok.) I mean it cost us 19 dollars. This is for a large, which is a 14" large. It was enough for 2 people i guess. They will do different toppings on both sides like other pizzerias, but they charge you the cost of the more expensive toppings side, and then they charge you extra for even asking for it being split. I don't like that. Screams money grubber. Not much else to say, I just wasn't impressed, may come back one day but I'm not going out of my way anytime soon. It's a cool idea though, good on these guys for trying it. I'd actually be interested in seeing maybe a Mediterranean or jamaican or a vietnamese pizza place, somebody get on that!
