Cool place to hang out and have pizza and beer. The table ordered garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. The garlic knots were excellent. I ordered 2 slices, 1 carnivore and 1 taco pizza. The taco pizza was really good!

Awesome food and great service. Can't stress this enough that the pizza is really good. Definitely can't visit Omaha without trying Pizza West!!

I went here with my family during a quick overnight stop on a long road trip. I consider myself a bit of a pasta sauce snob and I absolutely loved their sweet sicilian sauce. My wife said her Hawaiian pizza was amazing and my kids were all happy as well. If I lived in the area, I would definitely frequent this spot. Very friendly staff also.

Wife and I were just passing through. Walked over from the hotel. Excellent choice!!! Super cool place with a sports-bar vibe. Fantastic food! We had some killer mozzarella sticks and a chicken-bacon-ranch pizza that was amazing. The service is top notch, dozens of beer choices (including some good local brews). Our next trip through here this will be dinner after a long day driving. A++ 5Stars and a salute.

Came for the $12 Lunch specials! I got salad bar and a slice, my husband got 2 slices, drinks included. Salad bar was very fresh, well stocked, good variety. Had to get the famous Hand breaded Mozzarella Sticks. They were very good, a bit underseasoned, but that Marinara was delicious! Easily the best I've had from a pizza joint! We both ordered a slice of Parmageddon subbing olives for the tomatoes. White sauce, garlic, spinach, artichokes...totally my thing. My husband got the Hey Gouda Looking as well. He loved it! BBQ, hamburger, bacon, onion rings, a completely different flavor profile. Service from Krystal was great! She was fun! Told us how the majority of sauces are made in-house with many recipes having been passed down. Mentioned how the place was recently sold to new owners with said recipes intact. I sure hope so. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again! ❤️🍕❤️🥗❤️

We come here every Friday for pizza and beer and a big reason for that is Sarah who works behind the bar and the attentiveness of the staff as a whole. Tonight, 5/9, was a very busy night and the staff was seen doing everything they could to make sure everyone was taken care of given the unusual circumstances. We've never had a bad experience and tonight was no different. I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone. Pizza West has been, and will continue to be, our family's weekly go to spot because of the staff, the good, and the all around amazing vibes.

Wow! So happy that we chose this pizza place!! The flyin Hawaiin was amazing! The hey Gouda looking was amazing! The bartender who helped us was amazing! Everything about this place was amazing! The flavors were on point and perfect! I love trying new pizza places and this place doesn’t disappoint! We are going to have to make the 60 mile trip to go again!

We have been eating pizza at this location since we moved to the area over seven and a half years ago. We love the soup and salad bar combination for lunch during the week but really wish that it was also offered on the weekends and at night. The house-made ranch is really delicious. We always order the cheesy garlic bread and you can't go wrong with just about any of their pizzas. We usually get good service as well.

Food was good. The garlic knots are a must if you like garlic. My son liked the kids fettuccine alfredo but my daughter didn't like her cheese pizza. There were a few pieces of onion under the cheese and she found it. Kids were entertained between watching sports on tv and the kids menu that came with a toy that they both liked. Service was excellent and ambience was nice. We were greeted when we walked in and were checked on throughout our visit.

PizzaWest hands down has the best pizza. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating to your needs and the restaurant has a cool sports bars vibe. Pizza west is our go to spot for pizza nights.

Wing sauce was amazing and the wings themselves were good but the pizza tasted like day-old frozen.

Nice interior. Welcoming, good atmosphere. I sat at the bar and chatted with a very nice bartender who made a very good margarita and helped me pick out a great pizza combination. I can't wait to return.

I usually have something good to say about pizzas here. Tonight we decided to take on the July Pizza of the Month which I must sadly say was quite disappointing. Having enjoyed several different pizzas here it lacked any distinguishable taste and was rather greasy. Surely I'll find others to try but I won't be rolling with the Red, White and Bleu.

We stopped by for lunch and decided to try a few different menu items and take leftovers home for dinner. The pizza was good. I would definitely recommend grabbing one of their specialty pizzas. Staff was attentive and friendly. I can't speak on the ambiance too much as we went when they were slower. The restaurant looked clean. No major complaints for me and we look forward to returning to try other pies.

Mid-work day hungers and the season has brought us together again. It was wait to be seated today. There was one server and the manager working tables. They did mention that to everyone coming in understandably so in this day and age were you have to apologize for lack of staffing sadly. That is not the fault of the server and probably not the fault of the manager today either. It's the unfortunate situation our economy is in. That's a whole different issue! Now the good stuff :) The Oktoberfest is a must have every fall. Noticed the new Whiskey Business and was craving brisket too. Works out wonderfully that they offer half/half style!! The whiskey business was fantastic! The cream cheese, the whiskey bbq, and the brisket just married so well together. Definitely another favorite of theirs. The Oktoberfest was a little lacking in sauerkraut but was still delicious. The peach Busch was good to go with both sides of the pizza in my taste at least. It was an overall good visit. The ladies were working the room the best they could today and that's okay. We didn't get plates but thats fine by us! We got checked on a few times then a bigger party came in and we kinda fell to the wayside. Asked about the fruit for the dessert pizza but it was blueberries. Maybe next season. We'll be back as always because the pizzas are just so good.

We ended up here because we're from out of town and wanted to try places we've never been. I'm so glad we did. The best pizzas we've ever had!!! The pineapple bbq sauce on the flying Hawaiian is so good! The service was great as well! If you're anywhere near the Omaha area, go try it out!!

Tried to 10" pepperoni $9.99, and a 1/2 crab Rangoon 1/2 Whiskey pizza, $11.99 Whiskey pizza great, liked the onion, cream cheese. Brisket was lacking and sauce was a bit heavy though. Crab Rangoon very cheesy - needs the green onion and chips commonly included elsewhere. Pepperoni plenty of cheese and pepperoni. Crust is slight doughy(in a good way) and medium to thin. Tried the dessert pizza - crumbl, caramel, icing. Server didn't offer a fruit though I think menu mentioned. Different, but good. Like others better but kids approved. Overall good value, would eat here again and recommend.

Truly the worst pizza I have had in a long time. I could use it as a Frisbee for my dog but if I had a bad throw it would take out a tree. Too bad my truck didn't break down in Ogallala, Valentino's pizza there is awesome.

Great tasting food...but the service was meh. We finally got to try this pizza place in La Vista, where new establishments have been building in past couple of years. Decent sized place with a good menu options for pizza and bar food. Visiting for the first time and our first impression didn't start out well. We saw the "wait to be seated sign"...and we did. Two staff members (one from the bar) saw us and both didn't bother to greet nor acknowledge us. The pizza we ordered was actually good; and may try to visit again if in the area and craving for pizza...but not anytime soon.

Popped into here on a Monday evening for a work get together. Its nice they have a private room to use. We had a variety of items to sample, I enjoyed the wings, had some BBQ and Parmesan garlic maybe? We tried a couple varieties of pizza as well and the pizza was doughy and tasty, the sauce was quite sweet and they did not skimp on the cheese. Overall not really my type of pizza, but a decent treat none the less. They have a full bar and helpful staff. I likely won't be back unless another work event or something calls me in but I won't be sad if we do.

Great food and perfect for a large group. Pizza was so good, and boneless BBQ wings were good too. I got mixed reviews from my kids on the burgers. One liked it the other said it was too dry. I highly recommend this place.

Pizza is a subjective thing. I had a pizza with spinach mushrooms pepperoni and cream cheese. I thought it was good. No issues. Okay place.

Called in an order for three pizzas, two salads, and mozzarella sticks for pick up. Total $71.30. Got home and the medium pizza with bbq sauce was completely wrong, and there was no salad dressing. Called back and they deducted wrong pizza, but said I would have to drive back to get dressing! They would only agree to a partial discount. Would not budge. We don't eat salad without dressing, so... we will not return. We do not recommend!

Slices were much bigger than expected. Also, the food was fresh and hot. I was very happy with the pizza. Hit the spot. Wish they had more varieties of specialty pizza that weren't so crazy on the toppings. Service was a bit on the slow side considering it was only lunch. Sat at the bar, bartender never checked on me after he took my order.

I've been to this location a few times and the best recommendation I can make right off the bat is: get the buffet. Not necessarily because the food is better, but at least it'll be quick. On this occasion, I came in with some friends and it was kind of busy. We were seated right away, but it was more like "dumped at a table." The hostess seemed more interested in getting back to socializing with people coming and going. I even had to hand the menus out to my friends after she just tossed them in a pile. After 10-15 minutes, our waiter finally arrived to get drink orders. We insisted on giving our full order lest we have another long wait before seeing him again. The waiter could barely look us in the eye and also seemed like he just wanted to walk away. Once food finally arrived, it was fine. Nothing spectacular. We'll come back mostly because there are minimal options in this area. Gotta work on the service, folks.

I come into this place on my work lunch often as it is a quick drive over. The croutons are baked fresh and taste AMAZING! The service is always great, our servers are friendly and even if they are busy they take the time to genuinely check in with you.

If y'all haven't tried their Crab Rangoon pizza, YOU'RE MISSIN OUT! Like seriously missing out. There's just something about the sweet, creamy texture of cream cheese with a hard, buttery crust with a killer dipping sauce, that gets ya on the backend with a bang. Let's just say there's a party in your mouth and you lust over the aroma. Their garlic cheese sticks; HELLO GARLIC! Oh, and don't get me started on these little rolled up, tied in knots and perfectly called "cinnamon knots". I should've just eaten those first!

I've heard lots of mixed reviews about this pizza on the famous Omaha Food Lovers Facebook page, so I had to try. I had the Crab Rangoon pizza that tasted exactly like a Crab Rangoon. The sweet and sour sauce is tangy and good with a little spice to it. It all definitely left a good after taste. Some say there's not enough crab on it I think it was the perfect amount. The 10" pizza was smaller than expected but still enough for 2 non-heavy eaters. I ordered at 4:30pm it was ready at 5:00pm. I've heard others say their orders came out super late or wrong, overall I'd go back and try something else! I recommend ordering and paying online. Edited from 4 to 5 stars, this pizza is addicting! Love this place.

I was passing through town on my way to Colorado. We stopped in Omaha with a hankering for pizza. This is a regular thing for my family. We travel. We try pizza. Pizza West has got to be the worst pizza I have ever had. The service was excellence and the people in the restaurant were great--they just serve an inferior product. It's a shame. The people won us over, but the product lost us.

The food is good and the service was fine however on my recent visit 6/23/23 my daughter and I both had to have a pizzas re-made. One the kitchen messed up on and the other our server grabbed the wrong order. I get mistakes happen - they offered to make us new ones however we didn't even get I am sorry from the manager because we had to wait longer to receive our food or hey here is a percentage off your meal because we messed up. Probably won't make Pizza West my first choice for pizza since there are other locations that I can go to that I know would've made things right without me having to say something.

For my first time in Nebraska, I was introduced to a pretty nifty pizza restaurant. The people were friendly, and attentive. They even put up with a group of us who were pretty gone off of beer. But, I digress. But, let me get to the meat of my visit (pun intended). The food was pretty doggone amazing. The Parmesan chicken wings were THE best I have ever tasted. I've tried Parmesan chicken all around. But, this place was like no other I've had before. So delish, that my buddies and I went back for lunch the next day JUST to have a big serving of them. Holy Toledo! So, yeah. I highly approve this Cornhusking pizza eatery. Thanks for the hospitality. I'll be sure to come again when I visit Nebraska again.

I'm completely torn. I ordered a extra cheese, extra pepperoni pizza because I'm fat and I love toppings.... sue me ... anyways. barely even covered the pie and maybe 12-15 pepperonis. 26.00 for the pie and a 2 liter. bull crap!! on the bright side. the pizza was delicious and they're on the right track. if it would've been what I asked for, I would've definitely dropped their name on my next YouTube video about the too pizza spots in Omaha. do better y'all.

Pizza was very delicious! Got the bbq sauce with gouda cheese! It was delivered to my hotel and was hot!! The crust was really good! I would order again!!

In town from KC staying at a nearby hotel. In the mood for buffalo wings or buffalo pizza. I ordered a small buffalo pizza and an order of chicken tenders with waffle fries. Leftovers for breakfast. Went to pick it up and was so glad I got takeout. 47,654 kids running through the place like it was Chuckey Cheese or something. Bar staff was a little slow on taking care of pick up orders but order arrived. Got back to my room excited to try the food. What a let down. The pizza wasn't bad. It had a good crust, good chicken pieces and good cheese. The sauce was some of the worst buffalo sauce I've had. Guess what, Same sauce on tenders and even a side cup of it. I think the flavor is there but something is making it sweet. No one wants sweet buffalo sauce unless that's what it's called. Overall disappointing, I needed to try it because previously it was Gourmet Pizza which I loved.

I had become familiar with Pizza West after trying their pizza at the "Taste of La Vista" event one year. I finally decided to go back with my two young sons, 4 and 6. We had decided to go here because I wanted pizza but not a buffet. So here we were on a Wednesday, and it happens to be buffet night. So, we went for the buffet. Prices were $10, adult and $6.50, children. The buffet had a variety of salad and toppings, which of course the kids skipped. When we were there, the hot selections consisted of four pizzas, a dessert pizza, and two dry and old-looking pastas. One thing that was missing was a side...something! Anything! Most buffets have some type of bread or at least fries or something. But nothing here. Just pizza. The kids filled up on pepperoni and hamburger pizza, and I went back several times for Gyro pizza. The pizza is good and large, but I gave PW 3-stars because of the poor buffet selection and price. Price for my two kids and I was $24.73 (no drinks or addons). Could have gone to several other pizza buffets for the same price or less and gotten much more variety.

Came on a Sunday. No salad bar. Took a while to be seated. Sat at the table for 5 mins. Was never even greeted. Walked out and went to BeyondGolf two doors down and was served immediately. Wanted pizza, but wanted food period.

Drove 15 hours to Nebraska and as waiting on event runner to supply rooms. Well we had not ate since 9am and it was 6pm... SO we randomly rolled the dice and ended up at PizzaWest. We were not disappointed. Service was excellent Sarah too great care of us in our super sleep deprived state. The Waffle Fries - Taco Style (can't remember real name of it), were fantastic! The taco sauce was border line chili, but not. Great! The Carnivore Pizza was good as well. Reminded me a lot of LaRosa's. Check out their daily specials!

Delicious. We first came in thanks to Pinpoint, and we're now regulars. Fresh or reheated, this pizza is fantastic. My go-to is the buffalo chicken. Just the right amount of spice. Do it.

In all the years I've lived near Pizza West I have never actually tried their pizza until now. I should have done it sooner! The restaurant is located in a strip mall near Beyond Golf. I can't speak much for the atmosphere of the restaurant because both times I've eaten their pizza I ordered out. when I went inside I noticed they have a well-stocked bar with local craft beer. I've tried their taco pizza and a BBQ style pizza. Both of them had perfect thin crust that was crispy on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside. The toppings and sauce had a great flavor. I gobbled mine down so fast I shed a tear when the box was empty. The only real downside to Pizza West is the price. The sticker shock can be overwhelming when you're used to Domino's and Pizza Hut. Luckily they have daily specials and coupons that they've been sending to my house. Jackpot! Overall I was really impressed with Pizza West however I can't give him 5 stars until I eat inside the restaurant to better experience what they have to offer.

I finally tried Pizza West, La Vista, for the first time. What a major disappointment! I got a large, one topping pizza. First, they only put a trace of sauce on it, like they painted it on with a brush. Second, the cheese smelled and tasted really bad! The menu says they use mozzarella cheese, but it tasted bitter. Mozzarella shouldn't taste bitter. So what I got for about $20 (including tax) was essentially cheese bread with bad-tasting cheese. I threw most of it out.

The time has come for me to edit my review and accept that I just may have not made the best menu choices the last time. Step one - Salad bar. Super good, lots of options, even soups! And the croutons are heavenly. I assume they're the same as their garlic bread? idk, but please don't judge me as I put the entire container on my plate. Step two - Pizza, not wings. Just my .02. I've tried both the Popeye-Roni and the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Both were delicious and HUGE slices. A side salad and one piece of pizza had me feeling like I couldn't eat another bite. Definitely be patient when you dine in over the lunch hour, though. It's pretty clear that this place is a favorite and it can get a little crowded. If you're in a group of any more than 4, I would suggest calling ahead.

Ordered a pick up and got two pizzas and a dessert pizza. The pizzas looked good but the sauce tasted horrible, it tasted like they just put Ragu pasta sauce on a pizza and the dessert pizza was most embarrassing thing I've ever seen. It's a broken cracker with some cinnamon and half of the frosting made it on the cracker and the other half was on the box. We called back and they said yeah that's what it's supposed to be. How this is even being sold is amazing and I will not be buying that ever again.

I was impressed. I travel all over the country. Pizza isn't a regular food item for me So when I order I hope for the best. I ordered from Pizza West. It reminded me of the mom and pop shops I use to frequent when I was in college. I'll definitely order again.

My experiences here have been so-so, but please note that they've all been private events in the back room. Each time there, we have had one server, who is always overwhelmed and is very slow with drinks and cashing out. Thank goodness that she only has those two jobs; I'd hate to see her try to take and serve food orders as well. The pizza buffet, which I have always ordered, is "okay", but never something I'm itching to go back and have on my own. It's about on par with a Godfather's as far as offerings go. However, the buffet often runs out of pizza and empty slots stay empty for quite some time. I may head back if I'm attending an event, but otherwise, there are better spots for pizza.

We had four new hires start today, and we chose Pizza West for our new hire lunch. I made a reservation three days in advance for 20 people at the La Vista location. I know that we were a large group, and the restaurant was understaffed, but we sat unacknowledged for 30 minutes. It was forty minutes from arriving that we finally had drinks. I was looking forward to the gourmet flavors of pizza, but was told that if we ordered individual slices, it would be another hour for my food. We ended up going with large pizzas (pepperoni, hamburger, cheese, and Canadian Bacon). I could have gone anywhere and eaten these type of pizzas! The server was stretched way too thin! I refilled beverages myself, hunted down and handed out silverware, and another co-worker cleared salad plates. So disappointed! We often order Domino's and have it delivered to the office and eat here. It was a special treat to be able to go out, and this experience was anything but positive. I usually love this place, but was so sad when leaving.

If you're a pizza connoisseur, this is your goto. Always admire a pizza joint with a variety of off the wall toppings and choices. The edible hulk and the fiery Hawaiian are the only two I've had, but was impressed with both. In town for a few more days so I will be making another trip before my departure. :)

Nice place, service was pretty good. The wings were by far the worst wings I've ever had. Applebee's wings are better and they're not good. They looked like someone put them in the deep fryer and took a smoke break. They were burnt to a crisp yet had an odd moisture to them like they had water inside. You can't taste the buffalo sauce or honey sriracha, you just taste the burnt breading. It's one of the few places close so I wanted to like it but honestly I can't see myself coming back.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here and right as you walk in the place smells great! Our waitress asked for our drink order right away and I was pleasantly surprised that they had Coke Zero as an option. I can never resist a good garlic cheese stick so we order some for our appetizer. However, they left a lot to be desired. Other reviewers were correct, way too much garlic. The garlic cheese sticks was a bunch of canned raw garlic on top of the crust and topped with cheese. We couldn't eat it. The Gouda pizza was very good, the smokey bacon was a good compliment. I ordered a custom pizza with mushrooms and they used fresh mushrooms, which is a great addition. The only problem with fresh mushrooms placed in a pizza is that they release their juices/water when they are cooked, thus making the pizza soggy. All in all the ambiance was nice, cloth napkins are a plus, but the food could be taken up a notch.

First time visit here, I would say my entire experience was subpar. I got cheese sticks as an appetizer, extremely bland for having mountains of garlic. The pizza we picked was a chicken bacon ranch, again extremely bland. The server was not very attentive during our visit.

This would never have been my first choice, but the customer is always right:) I ordered a slice of the Omnivore's pizza which was shockingly good with a thin crust and had a trip through the salad bar. I probably would have given this 4 stars based on expectations, but the salad bar was missing most of the items and in sad state. In fairness, it was after 1 pm so I get they didn't want to stock it up that late in the lunch hour. Again, I did like my slice and our server was friendly.

Ok I get it it's a restaurant that isn't trying to put on airs. What you see is what you get. But seriously the food was cooked perfectly (wings, mozzarella sticks, pizza). Yes basic food but cooked perfectly! I haven't had food cooked this well in months. After the crap tastic service next door this was so refreshing! The bar tender was on point, pleasant, not intrusive, answered questions and treated us well. A perfect evening!

Reasonably fast delivery to a local hotel. Delivery guy was chill no issues there. The food tasted like pizza sauce was placed on some cardboard and cooked with some burnt cheese added in the end. Garlic knots were disgusting and small. Price absurd for zero quality food. NOT worth the price.

I'm quite happy that I found PizzaWest. The atmosphere is lovely. All of the food items are excellent, their menu is amazing, I really like their Carnivore Pizza. Service is incredibly good, no complaints at all. I would highly recommend PizzaWest.

Should've ordered Dominos. Our delivery guy just called and said he's was going to be another 30 mins. Meanwhile the Dominos guy delivered to someone else :(

This is the worst pizza and baked pasta that I have ever had. I've had frozen pizzas that have tasted better. The baked pasta tasted like it came straight from a can. I will never order from this place again.

Held a party there today with over 30 guest. Pizza was excellent and staff did a great job making it go smoothly. Definitely the first place we will think of for big events next time
