Been meaning to check out this spot for a while and I’m so glad I finally did. The food was amazing, ambience was cozy, and the wine was great. They make sure to tell you about the owner’s story which is cool and sets the authentic experience. Highly recommend to try both their garlic and spicy olive oils. Pizzas were very delicious so I’ll be back to try their pastas next time. I cannot emphasize enough how tasty the jambon (ham) was so make sure to try a pizza that has it! The cannolis were average but no complaints.

They make superb pizza with a thin crust and red sauce. Lot of topping choices both veggies or meat. Fresh baked bread goes well with wine and arugula salad. Classic tiramisu was simply excellent 👌🏼

Really enjoyed our dinner here! Service was fast and food also came out incredibly fast. The pizza and salad were delicious and I’ve previously enjoyed the meatballs and bread. This place is also known for the oils on all the tables which are delicious to add to pizza. Also the chef is Moroccan so the food has a nice unique fusion of flavors. Come try it!

Woah we’ve been dragging our feet getting here for dinner even though we live in RWC. Dynamite!!! Walked in on a week night with the kids and got a salad and 2 gluten free pizzas. They were awesome. We got the spinach salad, pistachio and mortadella pizza and a sausage pizza. Excellent; we think it’s some of the best gluten free pizza we’ve had in the Bay Area, only rivaled by what we’ve had in New York. Grazie!

The food here is delicious! I’ve never had pizza like this before. The service is amazing as well. The servers and hostess make you feel welcomed and at home. I’m so glad a place like this exists in Redwood City, its brought such a unique taste to downtown!

Nice place to get pizza! I love the salad, very fresh,not too much sauce!! Pizza is top. Everything is excellent!!! I don't give 5 stars because they don't serve any tea, but only coffee!!! The panettone would be perfect with a nice warm tea ☕!

Let me start by saying our server was really nice and the host took care of us without a reservation. The restaurant wasn’t busy but our dinners took a long time and my lasagna came out 20+ minutes before my friend’s chicken. Lasagna had a good portion but average taste; Chicken tasted good with a good portion but average presentation. Update: Gave it a second try. The Alla Marocchina Pizza was good. Being from Chicago it’s rare for me to appreciate a pizza outside the Windy City but this one was tasty, different but tasty. Especially with the house made olive oil they have on the table. Hostess again for friends and helpful. Waiter was nice but had to get his attention for a water pitcher refill.

We did a walk in and had to wait just 20mins on a Saturday night! My wife and I are both vegetarians and this place has plenty of options. We ordered the arancini cacio e Pepe and their specialty pizza. Both were pretty good! The tomato sauce on the pizza tasted really nice, and to top it off- the garlic and chilly oil on the side made it really tasty. Finally the only disappointment for me was the tiramisu! We ordered the classic one and I think the lady fingers were not well dipped. It was still in biscuit form and had to break it through, got the crunch. Overall a really nice atmosphere and would recommend!

I dined here for the 2nd time yesterday and let me tell you, this is now my go-to dinner/pizza spot when meeting a friend. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, delicious food (seriously, mouth-watering), lovely wine - I couldn't ask for anything more.

We made a reservation for 11:30am on a Saturday for lunch and got seated right away when we arrived. It was really nice being able to see the pizzas in the oven from our table! It contributed nicely to the ambiance of the restaurant! * Spring Salad - 4/5 - The salad was fresh, light, and well mixed! Highly recommend ordering to balance out the pizzas! Just wish there was more in an order! We got this especially since it's dairy free! * Bruschetta - 5/5 - Jammy, sweat, and savory with fragrant basil! Fantastic prelude to the pizzas! * Alla Marinara + Prosciutto Crudo - 3/5 - The pizza crust itself was excellent, but we hope that there's a version in the future that has vegan cheese too! * Carbonara - 4/5 - Very well balanced! The bacon was cooked just right and the egg broke nicely over the pizza! Not too salty, oily, or heavy! * Crudo E Paramigiano all' aceto balsamico - 5/5 - The balsamic vinegar was a really nice addition to the pizza and balanced out the parmigiano! This one was definitely my favorite next to the bruschetta!

A very cozy restaurant, we got lucky with extremely short wait time despite how packed the restaurant was. I tried the Bruschetta, Pasta Capri, Margarita DOP Pizza, and a holiday special dessert - Panettone with homemade mascarpone cream. Everything was delicious but the pasta capri & panettone were what put this place on the top of the list for me.

Let's start with the ambience - so lovely! You walk up along the pedestrian only street to a bustling little restaurant with a vibrant crowd inside full of families in the light filled restaurant. Outside is a romantic scene of couples dining with white table clothes, romantic low light, and pretty dense tables inside a planter lined patio area. The staff is very sweet, though I get the sense they are overselling their story a bit too much since many different people tried to tell us the same stories and sell their homemade oils. They were a bit too pitchy and salesman like which took away a bit. But, all very friendly and kind. The food is very simple and clean, which is what they sell you on when you are ordering. They definitely deliver. The food is intentional and lovely. Some dishes are overly simple and a bit too pricey. But they have reasonable prices for some things and the desserts are worth every penny. Come here for a date night or a girls night out. Either way you won't be sorry, unless you skip dessert!

Party of 2 here on a summer Sunday evening. The ambiance could not have been better. We chose to sit in the outdoor area that is a corner lot right on Broadway (not bad people watching and our table still felt private from traffic). The other restaurants and shops have all done a great job with this little slice of the city. We were greeted happily upon approach to the outdoor reception area, which I always enjoy, and seated immediately. The staff was top notch with recommendations and knowledgably answering our questions. Warm chatty server that seemed to enjoy telling the owners' story and helping us sample the house-made oils on the table. White cloth linens and a cute little low light table lamp. In addition to the bottle of wine, we shared the bruschetta, a crisp tasty pistachio spinach salad, and a yummy Salsiccia pizza. We closed out with a fantastic little panna cotta dessert with raspberry sauce. If we lived in the area, we would be regulars. Great experience!

I had the most beautiful dinner tonight at Cardamomo, and I left feeling genuinely full -- not just from the food, but from the energy of the place. Cardamomo has a special story: it began in Como, Italy, and has now found a home in downtown Redwood City. Walking in tonight, every seat was filled, people were laughing, the room was buzzing, and the staff moved together like a true family. It didn't feel staged or trendy -- it felt real. Warm. Alive. I'm in the middle of relocating to Italy and have been deeply missing it lately. Being here tonight honestly felt like being transported back -- Italy, somehow tucked into the middle of California. I started with a perfectly sweet, chilled Moscato -- just right. The waitstaff was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming in that effortless way that makes you feel like you belong. I shared a fresh arugula salad, and then came the star of the night: the Arrabbiata pizza. Hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever had. You can taste the freshness of every ingredient, and the balance of flavors comes together beautifully -- bold, comforting, and perfectly executed. You can feel the love and care in every detail here -- from the food to the people to the atmosphere. If you're anywhere in the Bay Area, I can't recommend Cardamomo enough. Come for lunch, come for dinner -- whenever you can get in. You'll leave feeling like you just took a little trip to Italy... without ever leaving California

Always a Great experience!!! Sarika and his staff are always friendly and make sure everything is good! This is one of my favorite spots! I hope they bring back these yummy menu options, however I have not been disappointed in what we have eaten here! We will definitely be back soon!!!

Very family friendly and dog friendly restaurant !! They have coloring for kids, heat lamps outdoors and great food. Good lasagna and prosciutto pizza! The best tiramisu--toddler approved.

Omg I came here twice in one week because it was just that good! The service and ambiance are 5/5! Our host greeted us at the front and brought us into the restaurant where we got front row seats of the kitchen! She pointed out Chef Momo working in the kitchen and the history of him and the restaurant. It made me appreciate the food even more and want to travel to Italy! I feel like you literally can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu. The spicy spaghetti and meatballs were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The pesto sauce from both the Brontë and Mortadella Pistachio pizzas were phenomenal! The Magica pizza is one of my faves from here. Salty, sweet, savory! All pizzas had a thin crust that was still crisp and can hold on its own... my kind of pizza. Thank you for bringing Italy to us :) I'm definitely going back soon!

Enjoyed my birthday dinner there on Saturday with my family and friends. It was their 1 year anniversary so it was a full house but we had our reservations. Started off with some appetizers (arancini, Margherita pizza and bruschetta) then dinner. I ordered the Tagiatelle Bolognese and it was absolutely delicious. Their other dishes were fantastic as well. The service was spot on and was impeccable. Parking is a challenge but there is a garage close by. Shouldn't be too much of an issue if you come early enough. We're definitely coming back.

Have been here a couple times now and am always very happy with how amazing the food and service is! I love that the restaurant has European vibes, it creates a nice ambiance that makes you feel like you're in Italy. Highly recommend the Tagliatelle Bolognese, momo pizza, margarita pizza and the bruschetta. The staff is always kind, attentive and lovely to interact with. Special shoutout to Nabin and Anita! Will definitely be back soon.

Always a delight to support local businesses. Great outdoor seating when weather permits. Service is warm and attentive and just a lovely story of how the restaurant came to fruition. Nice touch with the various oils to accent their dishes. There is a nice variety of options to choose from on the menu.

We came here after seeing this place had good reviews and to say the least we were very dissatisfied with the food. The prices were insane and the pizzas were not matching those prices. We ordered the carbonara pizza and the pepperoni hot honey. The carbonara pizza came with what looked like they threw an egg in the middle to make it look fancy. The egg whites were undercooked and it was sooooo peppery that's all you could taste is salt and pepper. Very underwhelming in flavor. The hot honey pizza was lacking in flavor as well and none of the oils and chilli flakes they claimed to be spicy were actually spicy. Overall 2/10 stars for us.

For months I've been wanting to try this place and finally went for dinner with some friends! The restaurant was dimly light & almost every table was full! To start, we shared the arancini and fig bruschetta. The Arancini came with a cacio e Pepe dipping sauce that was cheesy & creamy. The fig bruschetta was my favorite out of the two. Perfectly baked sour dough bread, with cheese spread on it and juicy pieces of fig on top, I added the homemade chili oil to it for a little sweet and spicy mix. For dinner I had the tagliatelle which was our server's recommendation. It was a large portion. The noodles were cooked perfectly aldente & the ragú was meaty! We were too full to try dessert but they had some great options. I'll definitely come back & try their pizzas.

The restaurant was beautiful, and there is a ton of outdoor seating. We came on a Wednesday evening and was able to do walk in seating, however we do recommend reservations since it got packed shortly after. Service was amazing, everyone was so nice and checked in on us regularly. Drinks - highly recommended the spirtz, we tried their classic and special. They were both great! Food - the bruschetta was good and the bread was perfectly toasted. The beets salad was probably our favorite item of the night! The salsiccia pizza was ok, slightly spicy. Loved that they had house made oils to enjoy with the dishes.

Food ingredients flown frown Italy twice a week which was pretty incredible! Owner/chef creates Lake Como style delicious dining at downtown Redwood City! Service absolutely impeccable including host/hostess gracious greetings from entrance to bid farewell upon exit. Servers were all attentive and astute to every need. Ambiance perfect with your choice of outdoor or indoor seating. Table adorned with their specialty oils for your bread, pizza, and pasta. Restaurant sits quietly at the corner of the block but screams excellent food, service, and Ambiance. Can't wait to return! Thinking of booking for work holiday party!

Overall the food was amazing. We had the meatballs, arugula salad, Tagiatelle Bolognese, and carbonara pizza. The meatballs and salad were good but the pasta and pizza were the stars of the show. The pasta was delightful, full of flavor and the serving was plenty. We didn't capture a picture before we dug in. The pizza was to die for. Its probably inenof the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust was thin, crispy, and well seasoned. Our server made the experience very positive as well. I believe her name ilqaa Kirta- my apologies to the young lady if I got it wrong. I can't wait to come back!!

This is a fairly new add to the downtown Redwood City restaurants and we tried it recently. It did not disappoint. We dined on a Saturday night and had a great time. Even though the restaurant was busy, the the staff was great, host was quick to seat us, wait staff was quick take our order and follow-up thoughout the meal. The food was good and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice and warm. We will definitely go back!

Came at 5:30pm on a Friday night and the place was super busy. Highly recommend making reservations. Limited menu consisting of primarily pizzas/pastas, but solid if this is what you are looking for. They also have a rotating specials menu. On the table were a variety of house made olive oils that were delicious. Local pear bruschetta: The Gorgonzola cheese was quite strong so keep that in mind. Tagliatelle bolognese/Lasagna: Both were solid and the pasta had a great al dente texture. Would order again. Bronte: Interesting flavor profile with the subtle pistachio and cheese. Would order again. Salsiccia: Flavor profile had your standard spiced meat red pizza. Both pizzas had a nice chewy crust. They had three different types of tiramisu (classic/strawberry/pistachio). We opted for the strawberry since it had no caffeine. Tasty, but wouldn't call it a tiramisu. Felt more like a strawberry cake. Service was outstanding. Multiple staff members came by to check in with us and were super friendly. Lots of kids, but surprisingly no changing table in the restaurant. Owners, if you are reading this, please add one to the bathroom!

Delicious food tastes like you're eating in a true Italian home. Welcoming atmosphere with superb customer service. The Chef is humble and kind. Our waiter, Caesar, was a very knowledgeable, professional and kind. Would recommend to anyone to try this place!

Because Vesta (which is across the street) is quite good, it was a bold move to open another pizzeria. It hasn't opened for long but has already became a popular spot. We went for an early dinner on a Saturday without a reservation and were seated right away. The chef has an amazing story, and you can see him working in the kitchen and greeting customers. I loved the ambiance of this place. It felt nice, but not pretentious. The restaurant was pretty new, so some of the servers felt a bit inexperienced, but it wasn't a big deal. The pizza was good, though not amazing. The crust is not very thin. I think the specialty pizzas are uniquely creative. We tried the Magician and really enjoyed it. However, I wasn't impressed by the Margherita pizza. I loved the spicy garlic oil the chef prepared for each table. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious--made in-house, Italian-style. They offered pistachio, strawberry, and traditional options. I can't help but compare it to Vesta. Overall, I liked the vibe of this place more, but I think Vesta's food might be slightly better. I recommend giving it a try!

Made an indoor reservation ahead of time but unfortunately was seated outside due to some opentable hiccup (which I believe should be resolved by now). Ended up being ok since they had some heaters running, but far from ideal since it was a windy day. Shared one appetizer, three pizzas, one pasta, and a dessert among the 4 of us. beet salad, margherita , spicy pepperoni with honey, special of the day pizza, tagliatelle, tiramisu Our favorite item was the special of the day pizza. Overall enjoyable experience but I still prefer Vesta's pizza and beet salad.

Came for lunch on Mother's Day. We were able to walk in without a reservation as a table of 4, and the host was kind enough to give us some roses for Mother's Day. We ordered the pistachio spinach salad, pear bruschetta, pomodoro pasta, tagliatelle bolognese, and spicy pepperoni pizza with honey. The pistachio spinach salad and pear bruschetta were good but really, really expensive for what you get. The pastas were tasty and al dente. The pizza was fine, not particularly memorable. The restaurant seemed overwhelmed because it was Mother's Day. We unfortunately had to wait quite a while for our food, and despite the fact that our server kept coming to our table to apologize and say our food was "coming soon," we continued to watch food come out of the kitchen and get delivered to other tables, including tables that were seated after us. The best part of the meal was the homemade oil on the table. There were 2 small bottles, one garlic oil and one spicy oil. Both were very flavorful and tasty. Service was friendly throughout, and our server comped us a tiramisu, which was kind.

We tried the risotto fritters with a sauce which was delicious and even enjoyed by the 3 & 6 year old granddaughters. You get 4/serving. Their pizza price averages around $27 but ranging from $22 - 28 and they are sliced so there are 6 slices/pie. The pies are delicious but a little pricey. They are all thin crust. They are flavorful. They also offer a spicy oil and garlic oil in a small bottle with a spout to top off your pizza to your liking. Service is great - they are attentive and offered suggestions. Our original seating was outside but glad we got an inside table which had a little more privacy and peaceful. Many people sat outside because it was such a nice day.

Delicious! Their food and ingredients are high quality. The staff is also great! Chef Momo and his wife are very involved, always present and working on maintaining top quality food and service. The ambience is cozy and elegant.

Excellent pizza and great service. We went for lunch and shared 2 pizzas and a salad among three of us. More enough food with some to take home. Will go back to try more.

I had my birthday party with 8 friends here and it was such a good time. Service was great, food was amazing and they even brought a dessert with a candle on it in the end. We got to meet with the Chef and he's a delight. He shared his passion for the cuisine with us. We really liked the garlic and spicy oil dressing they provide to top the pizza. Beet salad - 10/10 Pastas - 8/10 Brontë -10/10 Verdura - 8/10 Stracciatella - 8/10 I will be back, the Red blend wine was also really good and paired well with the fresh pizzas!

I've honestly never heard of this place, but it was a good halfway point between SF and SJ since we're all spread out between those two cities. When we checked in, they didn't have our table ready, so we had to wait a bit. Wasn't a problem since only two of us were here. We ended up with a table in the back. Originally they asked if we wanted to squish into a corner table made for 3 and a 2 top, but my party orders a lot, so we asked for another 2 top to be added. Glad we did cuz there definitely would not have been enough room with just the two tables. Since I was one of the first peeps here, I started with a glass of sparkling. There is only one offering on the menu - Maschio. It's described as clean and delicate with peach and orange blossom flavors. It was a good way to ease into dinner. They have a small variety of wines at reasonable price points. We did bring two bottles to cork, and then ordered an additional red blend. Not as good as our bottles, but fine for the price. I'm not gonna lie, I did not eat much when I was here. Tho I like how they provided a hot sauce / hot oil to use with their food. I adore my food spicy. In regards to the pizzas, most found the carbonara too salty. The pepperoni with honey seemed to have a nice balance of heat and sweetness. One pasta is probably good for sharing between 4 people as a tasting, so if you have more and want a good amount per, it's probably better to double up. Our server was sweet and attentive. This is the best restaurant in Redwood City IMO. I met the owner and everybody who works here and theyre fairly serious about food here down to the ingredients. The organic flour pizza wont leave you bloated and inflamed and it makes a better crust and bakes better. Their pizza oven is $55,000 alone! That aside what an amazing addition to the neighborhood please pay them a visit

Came here for dinner with a few friends on a weeknight and had a great experience! We made a reservation on the day of and we were glad we did because it was pretty busy when we got there As soon as you walk in, there's this delicious dough smell -- made me more hungry and ready to eat some pizza We started with the arancini and bruschetta. Both were good but the bruschetta was a standout, the bread, tomato, and prosciutto went together so well in every bite. For pizzas, the four of us shared a carbonara pizza and a stracciatella pizza. We really enjoyed both -- I liked the guanciale and poached egg aspect of the carbonara. For the stracciatella, the caramelized tomatoes were the highlight, I've never had a pizza like this, it was so delicious but also didn't feel heavy at the same time. Another thing I really liked was that the pizzas were thin crust but the slices weren't floppy when I picked them up to eat, while the crust was pretty thick. It felt like the best of both worlds between thin crust and thick crust! We also ordered dessert -- we got a panna cotta and the strawberry tiramisu (a special at the time). We liked both but the strawberry tiramisu was the highlight. I generally don't like tiramisu but this one was so rich in flavor and the strawberry flavor instead of the coffee-like flavor was a game changer! Overall, I was very satisfied with this experience and will definitely be back.

Loved this place. Service was great, food was served quickly, and the food itself tasted amazing as well. Bruschetta was delicious, followed by Pesto Pasta and Bolognese which were also really good. Topped off with Carbonara pizza and Crudo pizza which were awesome as well. The place is also pretty vibey so overall great!!

I stopped by today and tried the carbonara pizza. I don't recommed it: - The crust is dense and tough. That is likely becasue the dough undergoes a short fermentation; it's not fermented overnight. - The cornicione (crust edges) are not puffed up / inflated; they are flat and dense. - The bottom of the pizza doesn't have sufficient char / Leopard spotting. - However, the flavors were great for carbonara, with the right amount of cheese, gaunciale, and ground pepper.

Came to know about the restaurant through an article I was reading online. Interesting story of how the restaurant came about. We wanted to check it out because the chef is from Lake Como and we are always on the lookout for great Italian and/or pizzas. We made a reservation and it was hard to find an evening time, so it was an early dinner for us. We parked in the parking lot behind the restaurant. The service was very attentive. We got some Italian wine to start and went straight to the pizzas. Our server took enough time to explain the different pizzas and helped with recommendations. Our favorites were Bronte (pesto with pistachios) and Verdura (with vegetables)z We really enjoyed the food and the ambience. The pizzas were thin crust and had just the right amount of cheese and flavors. Will be back when we are in the area next.

Came here for dinner with a reservation for a small group-- definitely recommend a reservation if you want to sit inside by nightfall so you don't freeze! **** Staff: Friendly! They like to share the story of how this restaurant came to be. It was also lovely to see the Chef actually in the kitchen cooking :) *** Sitting Indoors: TOO LOUD :( you have to scream to be heard, but you're not freezing like you would outside when it gets too cold even though they have the heaters. *** Food *** - ARANCINI CACIO E PEPE (vegetarian appetizer) "Crispy risotto fritter with pecorino and parmigiano reggiano" - had a nice crunch and it was yummy to dip this into the white melted parmesan - ORGANIC BEETS salad - delicious mix of "Navel orange, toasted almonds, arugula pesto, white wine vinaigrette" - TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE - tastes fresh "Housemade fresh pasta, meat ragu" but the meat was quite dry :( definitely feels lighter like they advertised with less oil etc - STRACCIATELLA (Vegetarian pizza) - love the thin crust and the flavors were delicious with "Organic tomato sauce, stracciatella, caramelized tomatoes, basil oil" ** Parking: Free for first 1.5 hrs at the nearby MARSHALL's LoT. After that it's like $2.50 per hour.

Vesta's got some competition. I loved the staff, so warm and accommodating. Vesta- I have felt rushed all the time. Overall, if you're looking for a great place to get together and shareable plates, come here. Great for dogs. Some of the dishes could use more salt. I'd come back for the pasta actually more than the pizza. But overall, I am going here now.

I reallly wanted to love this place but unfortunately 'momo is a no-no for me. With Vesta across the way, and Doppio Zero one short drive to a city over and a plethora of other pizza spots I likely will not be returning here unless friends or colleagues want to give it a try. And, if I do, I'm open to changing my rating if anything changes. Service was a 5 out of 5. The hostess and waiter were both very welcoming, friendly and smiley. They were attentive, promptly. As my luck would have it, the owner seemed to be hosting a kids party (guessing kids of family friends). They were all over the place and I moved tables twice because one particular parent had no spacial awareness while taking photos and crowding/leaning over my table(s). The kids (boys and girls with long hair) were behind the kitchen making pizza with no hair nets...honestly, I just don't think this should be happening during regular dining hours given the small space. The pizza was a 3/5. I had the Spicy Pepperoni with Organic Honey. I was super excited for the organic, sourdough crust however it fell a little flat (no pun intended). The back of the menu and their website describe the "Moroccan" pizza which I would have loved to try (sausage and plum) but sadly it was no where to be found on the menu. I see the owner's wife has commented on reviews that this restaurant was originally opened in Lake Como and popular- I'm wondering if perhaps it's an issue of ingredients in the US versus Italy...or maybe it's the oven and wood fire would be more enjoyable. Not sure...overall, it's just ok but I do think this place has potential with some tweaks and an updated menu.

Yes it is bold to put a pizza place right across from Vesta which has been a Redwood City favorite for years so I thought why not try it- and unfortunately for them, Vesta was better. This place is good but the prices especially for lunch were just too steep even for Redwood City. It was average, nothing fantastic that I even think is good. The pizza was not super great and I probably would not come back. The server was friendly so that wasn't a problem and sitting outside is always nice. I actually never even went into the restaurant

Overall a lovely experience, but with Vesta around the corner, I'd choose Vesta every time. Food (3.5/5): The flavors and quality of all of the dishes were great. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The only complaint is how expensive everything was compared to the portions you get. The pizzas are priced well over an average expensive pizza and the sides were basically the same price as a whole meal but fed maybe half a person. My favorite dishes we got were the carmelized tomato pizza and the arancini. Service (4/5): Hopefully they're hiring more folk because there was only one waiter for the whole restaurant. Although it wasn't too busy, I think he had a lot of responsibilities and neglected us a bit. He was very kind though! The owner also checked up on us after our meal. Ambiance (3/5): I wish it was a bit more rustic feeling. It seems a bit too sterile inside which doesn't match the food.

Perfect place for a casual date night! They are a new, authentic Italian restaurant in Redwood City, owned by a family that used to run a similar restaurant in Milan! I loved hearing from the owners (they came by the table briefly) and seeing how busy the place is already. They deserve all the hype. We ordered a Margarita pizza with prosciutto, arugula salad with pears, and the lemon chicken dinner plate. And, the tiramisu for dessert! The meal featured simple but high quality ingredients and flavors. You walk away feeling rather light despite the carbs! The pizza was charred to perfection, the chicken fell off the bone, and the arugula had a light, sweet dressing. My only complaint was the tiramisu, which had too much cream for my taste. But, we had a wonderful time! Thank you so much.

I hate to be the contrarian here but this restaurant just didn't quite do it for me. It has a great interior but the food was not up to par. I ordered the Margherita (with the upgraded Buffalo Mozzarella DOP) and the Tiramisu. The tomato sauce in the Margherita was nowhere near as flavorful as I was hoping for although the crust was indeed nice, light and crunchy. The basil used wasn't very fresh. For the Tiramisu, the zabaglione was too watery and the entire dessert overly sweet. Their menu is sparse and doesn't feature any compelling pasta options (I think I saw a grand total of 3 pasta dishes on the menu). I don't know if it was an off-day for the kitchen but this was a clear swing and a miss for me and would certainly not return given the many other options on Broadway.

We popped in here this weekend for lunch. It was empty when we sat so we weren't sure what to expect but we were so pleasantly surprised. The staff was genuinely friendly & the owner came over to introduce himself. The bruschetta & pizza were really really good. Couldn't recommend it more!

I've been excited about visiting this spot ever since I saw the sign go up on the storefront long before they opened! I finally had a chance to visit over the weekend and was definitely not disappointed. We came in with a party of 2 at around 5:30 on a Sunday night for dinner and were seated immediately. The restaurant was pretty full at around this time. Leo took great care of our table the entire night - speedy orders, gave us plenty of check-ins throughout our meal, and generally made us feel very welcome. The food exceeded expectations! We chose 2 pizzas to try from the menu, my personal favorite was the Magica - this is the first time I've had yellow potatoes on a pizza, and this was the surprising ingredient that stole the show for me! Everything tasted great, even the day after as leftovers. We had a lovely brief chat with one of the owners Sarika at the end of the meal. The owners' dedication and story to the restaurant really shines through, I think they deserve the best opening month and continued success. Wonderful experience, will definitely be visiting again!

Service 5/5 our server was sweet, funny, and apologetic that the food was taking so long. The kitchen was very backed up and not able to get orders out quickly, so there was a lot of waiting between dishes and ordering as well. Didn't bother me because they were nice about keeping us updated. Food 3/5 - very mid experience with under salted and under flavored food. Wouldn't go again Ambiance - outdoor seating was nice due to a nice sunny day but their chairs, tables, linens, umbrellas were not able to withstand the winds so it was quite messy. They have put extra seating on the side of the restaurant and they shouldn't have done that, they clearly overcommitted to so many reservations that they weren't able to handle at the same time Food: 5/5 for the beet salad, this was truly delicious and the pistachio complimented it so well. 3/5 spinach salad was very underwhelming, not much to it, tasted like ingredients thrown together instead of a thought out dish 4/5 bread with olives was ok. the addition of cumin to the olives was odd but the preserved lemon was good 2/5 pesto pasta was recommended as one of their best things but it just tasted like boiled pasta with nothing on it. they said we were the last table to get it so i think they just skimped out on the pesto because they ran out. our server asked for feedback and we said it was a bit underflavored, she told us we would have to add salt to most of the dishes because they focus on less salt. 3/5 for the pizzas: verdura, sarika, pepperoni with hot honey. not hot by the time they came to us, not crispy on the crust, and the tomato sauce had no flavor. added a bunch of parmesan on top to make it a better but it wasn't an enjoyable pizza experience 3/5 tiramisu was ok. we ordered the pistachio one but they didn't tell us they ran out until we asked again when it was going to be ready

Meant to write a review but then forgot. Then went back and had another great meal. Menu changes are calculated and deliberate. Food is incredibly consistent with portions great for sharing or individual. Service is omnipresent but not hovering.

Recently got back from Bologna. (Used to live in Italy) This place transported me right back. I don't mind saying that the food was better here than Bologna.. My kids loved the food. Ambiance is great. The Chef is back there cooking up a storm.

The pizza is absolutely fantastic!! It gets packed, even in weekdays, so make a reservation. I still dream about that amazing crust, it's perfect! Service is friendly. Great place for a group.

Arancini- delicious (4/5) Verdura - vegetarian pizza, decent but too many veggies (3.5/5) Slightly pricey but nice outdoor space.
